A case of adrenal cystic neuroblastoma detected at 37 weeks of gestation is reported. Postnatal ultrasonographic examination showed slightly increased in size demonstrating marked septations within the cyst. After the tumor was resected, histopathological examinations confirmed the diagnosis. The patient is developing normally at 1 year of age.

Bu çalışmada, endüstriyel atıklardan cam, cam-seramik ve sinterlenmiş malzemeler üretilmiştir. Bu amaçla, yedi farklı termik santralden uçucu küller temin edilmiştir. Silis dumanı ve Seydişehir alüminyum tesislerinden elde edilen kırmızı çamur ise katkı maddesi olarak kullanılmışlardır. Öncelikle, atıklardan cam üretimi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Cam numunelerine, cam-seramik malzeme üretebilmek amacıyla hem klasik hem de sinterleme yöntemleri uygulanmıştır. Endüstriyel atıklardan üretilen cam numunelerinin kristalizasyon mekanizmaları izotermal ve izotermal olmayan yöntemler kullanılarak tespit edilmiştir. Yedi farklı termik santralden temin edilen uçucu küllerden herhangi bir katkı madde ilavesi olmadan sinterleme yöntemi kullanılarak seramik malzeme üretilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışma açıkça göstermiştir ki, endüstriyel atıklardan cam, cam-seramik ve sinterlenmiş malzemeler başarılı bir şekilde üretilebilmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Uçucu Kül, Cam, Kristalizasyon Mekanizması, Cam-seramik, Sinterleme ve Seramik In this study, the production of glasses, glass-ceramics and sintered materials from industrial wastes has been investigated. For this purpose, coal fly ash samples were obtained from 7 different thermal power plants. Beside coal fly ashes, red mud from Seydişehir alumina plant and silica fume from ferrosilicon alloy production were used as additives. First of all, glass samples were produced from wastes. Both classical and sintering methods were applied to the obtained glass samples to produce glass-ceramic materials. A comprehensive investigation of the kinetics of nucleation and crystal growth mechanisms of glasses obtained from waste materials was studied by both isothermal and non-isothermal methods. Coal fly ash samples obtained from seven different thermal power plants were sintered to form ceramic materials without the addition of organic binders or other inorganic additives. This study has clearly shown that industrial wastes can succesfully recycled in the glass, glass-ceramic and sintered materials production.Keywords: Coal Fly Ash, Glass, Crystallization Mechanism, Glass-ceramic, Sintering, Ceramic 349

Bu amaçla, sekiz değişik bölgeye ait linyit kömürünün yakıldığı termik santrallerden kaynaklanan uçucu kül numuneleri toplanmıştır. Öncelikle uçucu kül numunelerinin kimyasal ve mineralojik karakterizasyonları belirlenmiştir. Daha sonra, üretilen camlara çekirdeklenme ve kristal büyüme sıcaklıklarını tespit etmek amacıyla diferansiyel termal analiz ve bunu takiben çeşitli ısıl işlemler uygulanmıştır. Camların kontrollü kristalizasyonu ile üretilen cam-seramiklerin; x-ışınları difraksiyonu uygulanarak mineralojik analizleri, taramalı elektron mikroskobu ve optik mikroskobu kullanılarak mikroyapı aydınlatılması ve sertlik ölçümleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sonuçta, termik santral uçucu küllerinin cam-seramik üretiminde hammadde kaynağı olarak kullanılabileceği belirlenmiştir., In this study, the possibility of using fly ash in glass-ceramic production as a raw material source has been investigated. For this purpose, fly ashes obtained from eight different thermal power plants has been characterized. The next step has been to characterize these using analytical techniques and tests. These techniques are: Chemical analysis, x-ray diffraction (XRD), DTA to determine the nucleation and crystallisation temparatures, optical and scanning electron microskopy (SEM) and the Vickers microhardness test.
