This paper deals with library of program modules for process control applications running on microcontrollers. The aim of the library is to make it easier to create control applications for microcontrollers. It should allow creating such applications by putting together existing program modules provided in the library with little new code required. The software is written in C language and works with Freescale HCS08 8-bit microcontrollers and the Kinetis series 32-bit ARM-based microcontrollers. It should also be easy to port the code to other platforms. © 2015 World Scientific and Engineering Academy and Society. All rights reserved.

Příspěvek se zabývá určováním úhlu dopadu zvukové vlny na mikrofonní pole s pevně danou geometrií pomocí metod odhadu časových zpoždění a beamformingu. Teoretická část popisuje základní principy použitých metod a jejich programovou implementaci. Experimentální část se zabývá vlastní realizací mikrofonního pole, jeho propojení s vyhodnocovacím systémem a vyhodnocením naměřených dat., This paper deals with direction of sound wave arrival determination using time-delay estimation and beamforming methods with utilization of static microphone array with fixed geometry configuration. Theoretical part describes main principle of both methods and possibility of program implementation. Experimental part proposes hardware design of the sensory systems separately for time-delay estimation and beamforming evaluation methods due to different requirements on microphone array structure. Developed localization system is based on standard personal computer equipped with Advantech PCI-1716 multichannel data acquisition device.

Cílem příspěvku je užití neobvyklého principu anizochronního modelování při popisu zaokruhovaného tepelného modelu. Toto zařízení bylo navrženo na Univerzitě Tomáše Bati ve Zlíně a jeho dynamické vlastnosti se přibližují některým reálným systémům, např. chladicímu okruhu aut či elektráren. Dynamika modelu je poměrně neobvyklá a těžko popsatelná konvenčními postupy. Získaný matematický popis bude využit pro ověření algebraických metod řízení systémů s vnitřním zpožděním v okruhu RMS., The aim of this paper is to utilize an unordinary anisochronic modelling principle on a circuit thermal laboratory plant. The class of anisochronic models is characterized by the existence of state (internal) delays, both distributed or lumped ones. The modelled laboratory appliance was designed at Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Czech Republic, as a thermal heating circuit small scale model with dynamic properties similar to that of a real heating system (e.g. a cooling circuit in cars). The motivation for the modelling of this plant was double. First, the dynamics of the plant exhibits unconventional step responses which cannot be explained by a standard analytic means. Second, the authors of this contribution intend to use the obtained anisochronic mathematical description of the plant with the view of the verification of algebraic control algorithms in the RMS ring designed for delayed systems earlier.

Xanthohumol, a prenylated chalcone from hops and beer, is a phenolic compound that has received considerable attention in recent years. This compound has a range of interesting biological properties that may have therapeutic utility: anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antilipoperoxidative activities as well as antiangiogenic, antiproliferative and apoptotic effects, mainly assessed in vitro studies that reasonably suggest a potential chemopreventive activity. Phenomenon how xanthohumol affects brewing yeast’s metabolism, yeast viability and vitality were studied during the production of a xanthohumol enriched beer (10 mg/L xanthohumol). The results showed that yeast viability was slightly decreased by xanthohumol, but on the other hand yeast vitality in the xanthohumol enriched brewing trials was slightly better. The content of higher alcohols and esters was similar to the control in all the xanthohumol enriched brewing trials. In laboratory scale experiment about effect of xanthohumol on brewing yeast growing was done. No effect of xanthohumol on yeast growth was detected. Due to the fact that yeast viability was slightly decreased by xanthohumol, experiment with zymolyase was done. Yeast cells cultivated with xanthohumol are significantly more sensitive to zymolyase treatment.
