Aim: ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) is one of the most severe forms of pain. However, the guidelines give quite a few places for pain control in STEMI and, do not offer strong recommendations on this issue. This study aimed to reveal which medications are given to STEMI patients for pain control until they arrive at the catheter laboratory, in which situations they are used, and the frequency of use. Material and Method: A total of 272 consecutive STEMI patients were prospectively collected. Medications were administered to the patients until they arrived at the angiography laboratory; vital signs, comorbidities, referral status, infarction types, the time between the onset of pain and the admission to the emergency department, and the door-balloon time were also noted. The patients’ pain characteristics and intensity were evaluated. Results: It was observed that 96.3% of the patients presented with chest pain. The pain of diabetic patients was severe according to the visual analog scale (VAS) score (p=0.023). It was witnessed that 9.92% of the patients were administered drugs for analgesic purposes. The most commonly administered medication was paracetamol. It was noticed that morphine was used frequently after paracetamol. Medication administration for analgesia was more common in referred patients (p=0.040). Conclusion: Physicians behave timidly in their clinical practice in pain control of STEMI and move away from the guideline. In terms of comfort and hemodynamic stabilization of the patients, it will be beneficial for the applications in the field to give more place to the treatments for pain control in the guidelines.

Türbülatörler, ısı değiştiricilerinde akışkanlara türbülans kazandırarak, yüzeyle olan temasın arttırılması yoluyla ısı transferinin yükseltilmesi için kullanılmaktadır. Türbülatörler, yüksek verimlilik gerektiren alanlarda tercih edilmektedir. Akışkanlardan efektif ısı transferi sağlanması için maksimum temas yüzeyine sahip olunması gerekmektedir. Sisteme verilen enerjiden maksimum kazanç elde edilebilmesi ve maliyetlerin en aza indirilebilmesi için tercih edilen bu tür sistemlerin kullanımı sayesinde yüksek verimlilik oranlarına ulaşmak mümkün bir hale gelmektedir. Yapılan bu çalışmada ısı transferinin arttırılması kapsamında eş merkezli dış ve iç borudan oluşan ısı değiştiricisinde iç boru içerisine farklı türbülatörler yerleştirilmiştir. Isı değiştiricisinde dış boruya 98℃ sıcaklığında buhar, iç boruya ise kompresör yardımıyla oda sıcaklığında belirlenen hızlarda hava akışı paralel, aynı yönlü bir şekilde uygulanmıştır. Deney düzeneğiyle ısı değiştiricisi iç borusu türbülatörsüz (boş) olduğunda, içerisinde 1 m uzunluğunda mil üzerine 15 cm adımlarla yerleştirilmiş Tip-A (çubuk) ve Tip-B (kanat) silindirik türbülatörlerin yerleştirilmesi durumlarında ısı transferi performansı incelenmiştir. Deney düzeneğinde termokupllar kullanılarak çoklu kanallı veri tarayıcı ile türbülatörsüz, Tip-A ve Tip-B silindirik türbülatör durumlarında, belirlenen hızlarda ısı değiştiricisi giriş ve çıkış sıcaklıkları ölçülmüştür. Elde edilen verilere göre farklı açılardan analizler yapılmıştır. Türbülatör Tip-B kullanıldığı durumda en yüksek sıcaklık farkının gerçekleştiği gözlemlenmiştir. Türbülatörsüz durum ile karşılaştırıldığında Türbülatör Tip-A kullanılması durumunda 2,5 m/s hızında %28 oranında, Türbülatör Tip-B kullanılması durumunda 3 m/s hızında %118 oranında artış ile maksimum sıcaklık farklarına ulaşıldığı görülmüştür. Ortalama sıcaklıkların Tip-A türbülatör kullanıldığında ve türbülatörsüz durumlarda birbirlerine yakın olduğu, Tip-B türbülatör kullanıldığında ise 1 m/s ve üzeri hava akış hızlarında ortalama sıcaklığın daha yüksek olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Türbülatör Tip-A kullanıldığında %32 ile 2,5 m/s hızında, Türbülatör Tip-B kullanıldığında %157,9 ile 3 m/s hızında türbülatörsüz duruma göre en yüksek artış oranı ile Nusselt sayısına ulaşılmıştır. Türbülatör Tip-A kullanıldığında %32,5 ile Reynolds 11423 değerinde, Türbülatör Tip-B kullanıldığında %157,9 ile Reynolds 13899 değerinde türbülatörsüz duruma göre en yüksek hm ısı taşınım katsayısı artış oranına ulaşılmıştır. Tip-A ve Tip-B türbülatörlerin kullanılması halinde ısı transfer miktarının ve etkinlik oranının, belirlenen Reynolds değerlerinin tümünde türbülatörsüz duruma göre daha yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Reynolds değerlerinin tümünde Türbülatör Tip-B kullanılması durumunda belirgin bir şekilde artış ile en yüksek ısı transfer miktarına ve etkinlik oranına ulaşılmıştır. Her koşulda türbülatör kullanımının ısı transferini arttırdığı, Tip-B türbülatörün Tip-A türbülatöre göre belirgin bir şekilde daha iyi ısı transfer performansı gösterdiği görülmüştür., Turbulator is used in heat exchangers to enhance heat transfer rates from the fluids by increasing the contact surfaces of the fluids by increasing the turbulence flow. More contact surfaces are necessary for effective heat transfer, particularly in applications requiring high productivity and capabilities. By using turbulators, the maximum energy gain can be achieved, leading to high efficiency rates and lower costs. In this study, different turbulators are placed in the inner tube of the heat exchanger, which consists of concentric outer and inner pipes, within the scope of increasing the heat transfer. In the heat exchanger, steam was applied to the outer pipe at a temperature of 98°C, and to the inner pipe with the help of the compressor, the air flow was applied in a parallel and same direction at different speeds. The contribution of the cylindrical turbulator to the energy efficiency of the heat exchanger was investigated. Heat transfer performance was analysed in the case of placing Type-A (rod) and Type-B (wing) cylindrical turbulators placed on a 1 m-long shaft with 15 cm steps using the experimental setup. In the experimental setup, the inlet and outlet temperatures of the heat exchanger were measured at various speeds using Type-A and Type-B cylindrical turbulator and without turbulator (empty) conditions by using thermocouples via data logger. It has been observed that the highest temperature difference occurs when turbulator Type-B is used. Compared to the empty (without turbulator) condition, it was observed that maximum temperature differences were reached with a %28 increase at 2,5 m/s speed in the case of using Turbulator Type-A, and %118 increase at 3 m/s speed in the case of using Turbulator Type-B. It has been observed that the average temperatures are close to each other in case of Type-A turbulator is used and without turbulator, while the average temperature is higher at 1 m/s and above air flow rates when Type-B turbulator is used. It was observed that the highest Nusselt number were reached with a %32 increase at 2,5 m/s speed in the case of using Turbulator Type-A, and %157,9 increase at 3 m/s speed in the case of using Turbulator Type-B, compared to the empty (without turbulator) condition. The highest hm heat transfer coefficient increase rate was reached at Reynolds 11423 for Turbulator Type-A as %32,5 and at Reynolds 13899 for Turbulator Type-B as %157,9, compared to the empty inner pipe condition. In the case of using Type-A and Type-B turbulators, it was observed that the heat transfer amount and effectiveness rate were higher than the case without a turbulator in all of the determined Reynolds values. In the case of using Turbulator Type-B in all Reynolds values, the highest heat transfer amount and effectiveness rate were reached with a significant increase. It has been observed that the use of turbulators increases the heat transfer and the Type-B turbulator has a significantly better heat transfer performance than the Type-A turbulator, in all conditions.

Hiyerarşik veriler üzerinde tek düzeyli analizlerin kullanımı ile tek ve çok düzeyli yapısal eşitlik modelinin uygulanmasında karşılaşılan sorunlara ilişkin literatürde ampirik bir kanıt bulunmamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’de PISA 2015 uygulamasına katılmış bireylerin fen başarısını yordadığı düşünülen fen öğrenmekten zevk alma, fen öğreniminde araçsal güdülenme, fen öz yeterliği, eğitim sürecindeki engeller, öğrenme engeli değişkenlerinin etkisi tek düzeyli ve çok düzeyli yapısal eşitlik ile modellenmiştir. Yordayıcı değişkenlerin etkileri, verilerin toplanması ve ayrıştırılması ile oluşturulan iki tek düzeyli model ile kestirilmiş ve model uyumu ile standartlaştırılmış parametreler açısından iki düzeyli model ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Sonuç olarak grup düzeyi göz ardı edilen modelde regresyon katsayılarına ait standart hataların azalmasından, birey düzeyi göz ardı edilen modelde ise grup içi varyans analize dâhil edilmediğinden ve veri kaybı yaşanmasından dolayı yanlı sonuçlar elde edilmiş ve istatiksel testin gücünü azaltmıştır. Bu sonuçların, gelecekte hiyerarşik verilerde yapılacak çalışmalarda kullanılacak analizler için araştırmacılara fikir sunması beklenmektedir., There is no empirical evidence in the literature regarding the problems encountered in the use of single-level analyzes on hierarchical data and the implementation of a single-multilevel structural equation model. In this study, the models were created by using Structural Equation Modeling and Multilevel Structural Equation Modeling for the effects of factors such as enjoyment in learning science, instrumental motivation, scientific self-efficacy, hinderances in education, and hinderance to learning which are claimed to predict Turkish students’ science performance who participated PISA 2015. The effects of the predictive variables were estimated with two different single-level models constructed by aggregating and disaggregating the data. Then, single-level models are compared with the two-level model in terms of model fit and standardized parameters. As a result, since it was observed that standard error in regression coefficients decreased for the model which disregarded group levels, and variance-within-groups was not included in the model which disregarded individual levels which caused a data loss, the results were biased, and the effectiveness of the statistical test was weakened. In light of the results of this study, some recommendations were suggested for future studies which may consider dealing with analyzing hierarchical data.

Objectives: Platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) combines the predictive risk of platelet and lymphocyte counts into a single risk index. PLR has been studied as a predictive marker in a variety of cardiovascular diseases. However, our understanding of the link between PLR and coronary artery disease (CAD) remains limited. The present study aimed to evaluate the relationship between PLR and intensity of coronary atherosclerosis in patients with suspected CAD. Methods: In this retrospective study, we included 221 patients undergoing dual-source 64-slice coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA). Total and different types of leukocyte counts were measured with an automatic blood counter. Based on a modified version of the American Heart Association's categorisation, the coronary artery tree was divided into 16 segments. To assess the extent of coronary atherosclerosis, the number of affected coronary segments was counted. Coronary artery plaques were classified into three categories: (1) calcified plaque, (2) non-calcified plaque, and (3) mixed plaque. Results: After multivariable backward stepwise regression analysis, PLR remained as an independent predictor for both the presence and extent of coronary atherosclerosis (OR=2.38, 95% CI: 1.27-4.47 and OR=1.66, 95% CI: 1.10-2.51, respectively). There was no significant relationship between PLR and plaque morphology. Conclusions: Higher PLR was associated with the intensity of coronary atherosclerosis detected by CCTA. Further research is necessary to determine the optimal approach to using PLR in medical practice.

Çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’de “Eleştirel Okuma” hakkında eğitim alanında yapılan lisansüstü tez çalışmalarını çeşitli ölçütlere göre incelemektir. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi yöntemiyle tezler araştırılmıştır. İncelenen tezler YÖK internet sitesinden arama bölümüne “Eleştirel Okuma” yazılarak bulunmuştur. Araştırmada ulaşılan, yayınlanma izni olan ve eğitimle ilgili 37 tez içerik analizi yoluyla çeşitli kıstaslara göre irdelenmiştir. Erişilen veriler SPSS vasıtasıyla çözümlenmiş, frekans ve yüzdelik değerlerin olduğu tablolar oluşturulmuştur. Yapılan incelemelerin sonucunda, eleştirel okumayla ilgili tezlerin büyük bir kısmının yüksek lisans tezi olduğu, tezi yapan araştırmacıların çoğunun cinsiyeti kadın iken tez danışmanlarının çoğunun cinsiyetinin erkek olduğu, tez danışmanlarının unvanlarında en çok doçent ikinci sırada ise profesör olduğu, tezlerin yapıldığı üniversitenin bulunduğu coğrafi bölge olarak ilk sırada Ege bölgesinin geldiği ve yine üniversite bazında bakıldığında üçer tezle en çok Bülent Ecevit Üniversitesi ve Uşak Üniversitesinde çalışma yapıldığı görülmüştür., This study aims to analyze the postgraduate theses in education sciences about critical reading in Turkey according to various parameters. The document analysis method, a qualitative research procedure, was employed to examine the theses in the corpus, which was derived from the archive of the Council of Higher Education by using the keyword "Critical Reading" in the thesis search section. In the present research, the contents of 37 accessible theses in education were analyzed from varied perspectives. The obtained data were analyzed with SPSS, a statistical software program, and tables were produced to present the generated frequencies and percentages. The analyses revealed that master's theses prevailed in the corpus and most of the authors were female, while their supervisors were predominantly male. A great majority of the supervisors were found to be associate professors, followed by full professors. It was observed that most of the analyzed postgraduate studies were performed in the Aegean region. The research also showed that most were conducted at Bülent Ecevit University (three theses) and Uşak University (three theses).

Background: Donor obesity is considered a relative contraindication to kidney donation by most transplant centers because of concerns about short- and long-term morbidity and mortality. In this study, the impact of kidney donor body mass index (BMI)on perioperative and postoperative morbidity was investigated. Material and Methods: We included all individuals (n = 170) who donated their kidneys for living kidney transplants performed at our hospital between November 2017 and October 2018. We divided kidney donors into four groups according to their BMI; normal (< 25 kg/m2), overweight (25 - 29.9 kg/m2), class I obese (30 - 34.99 kg/m2), and class II obese (> 35 kg/m2). We compared preoperative and postoperative blood pressure, estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), and proteinuria values. p < 0.05 was considered statistically significant in all analyzes. Results: Of the donors, 32.9% were normal weight, 31.7% were overweight, 28.8% were class I obese, and 9.4% were class II obese. The mean postoperative hospital stay was 2.2[2-4] days, and there was no difference between donors with and without obesity (p > 0.05). The only parameter negatively correlated with low eGFR at 12 months postoperatively was donor age (p= 0.024 and r= 0.290). There was no correlation between eGFR and BMI (p=0.125 and r=0.065). No difference was observed in donors' blood pressure measurements after kidney donation. Postoperative proteinuria was positively correlated with BMI (p= 0.02, r= 0.296). Conclusion: Donor candidates with obesity may be considered donors for patients with end-stage renal disease for whom there are no other suitable living kidney donors after a thorough perioperative evaluation.

Birlik çokluk ilişkisi şeklinde ifade edilen “bir olan ilk ve tek ilke” ile “çok olan sonrakiler” arasındaki ilişki biçimine dair Fârâbî ve İbn Sinâ tarafından geliştirilen kuram sudûr nazariyesi olarak bilinmektedir. Şiirsel ve metaforik anlatım ağırlıklı olmasına rağmen Platon Tanrı ve âlem arasında ilk defa bütünlüklü bir teori önerirken, öğrencisi Aristoteles ise hareket odaklı ama kavramsal tutarlığı ön planda tutan bir yaklaşım benimsemiştir. Plotinus ve Proclus ise, hareket merkezli açıklamayı yeterince metafiziksel bulmadıklarından onun yerine varlık vermeye odaklanan görüşü benimseyerek, onun açıklamasını tekrar metaforik bir anlatımla değiştirmişlerdir. Fârâbî ve İbn Sinâ, ilk ilke ile onun malûlü olan âlem arasındaki ilişkiyi hem varlık verme şeklinde ele almış hem de ilk ilkenin akıl olarak tanımlanmasının kavramsal tutarlılığını muhafaza ederek nazariyeye son halini vermiştir. Bu çalışmanın konusu söz konusu kuram bağlamında iki filozofun katkısını belirginleştirmektir. Bu katkı, varlık verme merkezli bir kuramın kavramsal tutarlılıkla açıklanmasında kendisini en iyi şekilde ifade etmektedir. Zorunlu mümkün ayrımı, zorunlu varlığın özellikleri, onun kendisini akl etmesinin sonuçları ve nihayetinde çokluğun başlangıcı bu nazariyeyle açıklanmıştır. The theory developed by Fârâbî and Avicenna about the relationship between \"the first principle that is one\" and \"the later ones that are many\", which is expressed as the unity- multiplicity relationship, is known as the emanation theory. Although the poetic and metaphorical narrative is predominantly, Plato proposed a holistic theory between God and the world for the first time, while his student Aristotle adopted a movement-centered approach that cares about conceptual consistency. Plotinus and Proclus, on the other hand, did not find the movement-centered explanation metaphysical enough, instead they adopted the view that focuses on giving existence and changed Aristotle's explanation with a metaphorical one again. Fârâbî and Avicenna discussed the relationship between the first principle and its result, the world, as the relationship of giving existence. They have gave the theory its final form by maintaining the conceptual coherence of the definition of the first principle as intellect, as defined by Aristotle. The subject of this study is to clarify the contribution of two philosophers in the context of the theory in question. This contribution best expresses itself in the conceptual coherence explanation of giving existence-centered theory. The necessary existence-possible existence distinction, the properties of the necessary being, the results of its reasoning and finally the beginning of the multitude are explained with this theory.

It has been traditionally exploited as a dietary or cosmetic agent and to treat gastrointestinal disorders. While the chemical constituents of Chios mastic gum comprise natural polymers, essential oils, and triterpenic compounds, further studies have suggested that triterpenes are of great importance in biological activities such as anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antioxidant, and chemopreventive [1]. Since the abiotic factors affect the secondary metabolite profile [2], our group has decided to undertake a phytochemical study onPistacia lentiscusvar. chia growing in Karaburun Peninsula, İzmir-Turkey.Isolation and purification studies were performed using chromatographic methods; subsequently, structural elucidation was done by spectroscopic methods (1D NMR, 2D NMR, MS and X-RAY). The detailed inspections of spectra helped us establish structures of twelve molecules possessing triterpenic skeletons ([Fig. 1]), and two of them turned out to be undescribed compounds. Since oxidative stress leads to the progression of neurodegenerative disorders [3] and antioxidant activities of some Pistacia species are documented [4], the neuroprotective effect of the isolates was examined against H2O2-induced oxidative stress on SH-SY5Y cells. As differentiation agents were reported to affect potency of compounds [5], both differentiated and undifferentiated SH-SY5Y cells was used in this study. Two compounds (oleanolic acid and 17-β-hydroxy-28-norolean-12-ene-3-one) showed neuroprotective effects, while others demonstrated little or no effect. Interestingly, 17-β-hydroxy-28-norolean-12-ene-3-one exhibited protective activity in both differentiated and undifferentiated SH-SY5Y cells whereas oleanolic acid had effects only on undifferentiated cells.

ÖzKozmolojik ince ayar durumları ile kurulabilecek varoluşsal senkronizasyon, her türden iyi-oluş ile ilişkilidir; bu önerme ile uyumlu bir biçimde ortaya konulan çalışmamız kozmolojik aktiflik (cosmological agency) kavramının yanı sıra meta-ontolojik ve ince-ayar mekanizmalarına gömülü transandantal fenomenlerin yanı sıra, kozmik düşünceye dayanan bir yaradılışçılık fikrinin sağlıklı bir biçimde anlaşılması sonucunda ortaya çakabilecek ve tanık olunabilecek paradigmalara dayanarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu tür bir düşünüş biçimi ancak İslami ontoloji ile uyumlu kozmik düzen ve akıllı tasarım fikrinin benimsenmesi ve doğuştan yerleşik ilahi mukadderat ile tanımlanan bir meta-ontolojik kavramsallaştırmayla elde edilebilebilecektir.Gerek İnsanoğlunun gerekse diğer her türlü kozmik varlık veya fenomenin yaşamsal, varoluşsal döngüsü içerisinde, ontolojik kapasitenin ötesinde ve dışında her türlü kozmik varlık veya fenomen için önceden belirlenmiş varoluş yasalarının dışında bir düşüncenin benimsenmesi, Kuantum Mekaniği bağlamında, Termodinamiğin İkinci Yasasında da en iyi bir biçimde tanımlandığı üzere, düzensizlik, kaos ve öngörülemezliğe neden olacaktır; bu durum evrenin yaratılışı ve işleyişinde değişmez bir yasa olarak yansıyan ve önceden belirlenmiş ince-ayar mekanizması ve kozmik denge düşüncesiyle de uyumlu bir öncül ya da önerme olarak kabul edilmektedir. Countering against this premise will have multi-dimensional implications in any of the state of affairs characterized by decadence, complexity and chaos clearly observable in any realms in our modern world, if human beings recklessly neglect to adopt the above-mentioned postulates or laws of the cosmic fine-tuning, ultimate balance and divine equilibrium pre-determined for any kind of cosmic entities or phenomena implicated and manifested in the bulk of the creation and the machinery of the universe

One aspect of the metaphysical explanation of the relationship between unity and multiplicity of the theory of emanation, which Fârâbî and Avicenna built on the Aristotelian view of intellect, is that it consistently clarifies the transfer of the meaning of existence and motion to the following entities. While celestial minds were placed in order to convey the meaning of existence and to make the movement continuous, celestial spherical beings called felek were added to the system in order to convey the movement to the lower ones. The number of celestial spheer, which became definite with Ptolemy, is followed exactly by Fârâbî, but Avicenna does not give an exact number on this issue. He starts the system with a intellect and ends with another intellect, and sets some principles about the number of these. According to Nasiruddin Tusi, one of the later authors, there is a serious difference between the two philosophers about the fact that the first mind is the agent of the first heaven, as in the number of celestial spheers. The subject of this article is the different views adopted by the two founding philosophers when it comes to cosmology, as in the number of spheres. While clarifying their different views, the thoughts of philosophers are discussed in the context of metaphysics. Mathematical astronomy and similar approaches are left out of the scope of the article, Fârâbî ve İbn Sînâ’nın Aristotelesçi akıl görüşü üzerine inşa ettikleri sudûr teorisinin metafiziksel anlamda birlik ve çokluk ilişkisini açıklamasının bir yönü de varlık anlamının ve hareketin aşağıdaki mevcutlara aktarılmasını tutarlı bir şekilde belirginliğe ulaştırmasıdır. Batlamyus ile kesinlik kazanan feleklerin sayısı, Fârâbî tarafından aynen takip edilirken İbn Sînâ bu konuda kesin bir sayı vermemektedir. Sistemi bir akılla başlatıp yine bir akılla bitiren İbn Sînâ, bunların sayısı hakkında ise birtakım ilkeler tespit eder. Feleklerin sayısıyla irtibatlı olarak ilk aklın birinci semanın faili olması konusunda da sonraki müelliflerden Nasiruddin Tusi’ye göre iki filozof arasında ciddi bir fark söz konusudur. Bu makalenin konusu, iki kurucu filozofun kozmoloji söz konusu olduğunda feleklerin sayısında olduğu gibi benimsedikleri farklı görüşlerdir. Bu araştırmada sanayi bölgesi otomotiv sektöründe çalışan geç ergenlik dönemi içerisindeki bireylerin boş zaman tatmin düzeylerine yönelik algılarının ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma nitel bir çalışma olup, araştırma deseni olarak fenomenoloji (olgubilim) yaklaşımından yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmanın araştırma grubunu Mersin ili sanayi bölgesi otomotiv sektöründe çalışan altı geç dönem ergen oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama yöntemi olarak görüşme yöntemi tercih edilen araştırmada, veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Görüşme formunda demografik bilgileri içeren soruların yanı sıra, katılımcıların boş zaman tatmin algılarını incelemek üzere eğitim, fizyolojik, estetik, rahatlama, sosyal ve psikoloji konu başlıklarında altı soru sorulmuştur. Görüşmelerden elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz tekniği ile analiz edilmiş ve görüş birliği-görüş ayrılığı formülü ile verilerin analizinde %90 güvenilirlik sağlanmıştır. Verilerden elde edilen bulgulara göre çoğunlukla hafta sonunda sahip oldukları boş zamanlarını arkadaşları ile sportif aktivitelerle değerlendiren katılımcıların psikolojik etki, kişisel gelişim, sosyalleşme, fiziksel iyi olma, rahatlama ve estetik bakış temalarında boş zaman tatmin algısına sahip oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, boş zaman tatmin algısına sahip oldukları tespit edilen katılımcılara bu algılarını boş zamanlarına daha fazla yansıtabilmeleri için kendilerine yeni imkânlar ve alternatifler sunulması, fiziksel, duygusal ve sosyal sağlığa ulaşmış daha fazla sayıda bireyin refah seviyesi yüksek bir toplum hedefine ulaşmaya katkı sağlamasına imkân tanıyabilecektir. In this study, it was aimed to reveal the perceptions of individuals working in the industrial zone automotive sector in late-term adolescence towards leisure satisfaction levels. The research is a qualitative study and the phenomenology approach was used as a research pattern. The research group of the study consists of six late-term adolescents working in the automotive sector of the industrial zone of Mersin province. Interview method as data collection method preferred in the research, semi-structured interview form was used as data collection tool. In addition to questions containing demographic information in the interview form. Six questions were asked in the topics of education, physiological, aesthetic, relaxation, social and psychology to examine participants perceptions of leisure satisfaction. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed by descriptive analysis technique and 90% reliability was achieved in the analysis of the data with the consensus-disagreement formula. According to the results obtained from the data, it was found that participants who evaluated their leisure time at the end of the week with sports activities with their friends had a perception of leisure satisfaction in the themes of psychological impact, personal development, socialization, physical well-being, relaxation and aesthetic point of view. As a result, providing participants who have been found to have a perception of leisure satisfaction with new opportunities and alternatives to reflect these perceptions more on their leisure time will allow more individuals who have reached physical, emotional and social health to contribute to achieving the goal of a society with a high level of well-being.

Aim: In the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, in millions of cases were observed those of some patients do not exhibit any symptoms whereas some others are hospitalized with having fatal outcomes. One of the most significant findings is that patients with existing comorbidities are extremely exposed to severe clinical conditions developed due to excessive inflammatory response. That is to say, the indicative cause of chronic inflammation may be bacterial translocation derived from the impaired intestinal mucosal barriers. This study is aimed to investigate the probable relations between the impaired intestinal barrier integrity and which would be associated with severity of COVID-19 clinical conditions.Material and Methods: According to the clinical and laboratory findings, the patients were classified into three groups as mild, moderate, and severe clinical conditions. All patients’ blood samples were collected on the first admission to the hospital. Serum concentrations of lipopolysaccharide-binding protein (LBP), were analyzed to evaluate the intestinal barrier function and bacterial translocation. İntravezikal ektopik gebelik çok nadir görülen bir durumdur. Hastalar geleneksel ektopik gebeliklerden farklı olarak genellikle hematüri ile başvururlar. Olgumuz 22 yaşında olup karın ağrısı ve idrarda kanama şikayeti ile başvurdu. Fizik muayenede abdominal hassasiyeti gözlendi. ß-HCG 10033 IU/ml olarak ölçüldü. Ultrasonografide vezikouterin fistül traktı ve mesanede dış gebelik kesesi ile uyumlu görünüm izlendi. Sistoskopide mesane sağ yan ile posterior duvar birleşiminde fistül traktı ostiumu ve ektopik gebelik kesesi ile uyumlu kitle görüldü. Gözlenen yapı rezeke edildi ve koterize edilerek hemostaz sağlandı. Takiplerinde komplikasyon gözlenmeyen hasta eksterne edildi.Pelvik cerrahi öyküsü olan, adet gecikmesi ve hematüri şikâyeti ile başvuran hastalarda ayırıcı tanıda ektopik gebelik akılda tutulması gereken tanılardan biri olmalıdır., Intravesical ectopic pregnancy is a very rare condition. Unlike traditional ectopic pregnancies, patients generally present with hematuria. Our case presented with abdominal pain and urinary bleeding. Abdominal tenderness was observed on physical examination. The ß-HCG was measured as 10033 IU / ml. In ultrasonography, an appearance compatible with a vesicouterine fistula tract and an ectopic gestational sac in the bladder were observed. In cystoscopy, a mass compatible with a fistula tract ostium and ectopic gestational sac was observed at the junction of the right side of the bladder and the posterior wall. The observed structure was resected and cauterized to achieve hemostasis. No complications were observed during the follow-up, and the patient was discharged. Ectopic pregnancy should be one of the differential diagnosis of patients with a history of pelvic surgery who present with complaints of menstrual delay and hematuria.

Sürekli mıknatıslı senkron motorlar (SMSM); yüksek güç yoğunluğu, yüksek verim, hızlı tepki süresi ve lineer moment karakteristiği gibi özellikleriyle yüksek performans gerektiren elektrikli araç uygulamalarında oldukça geniş yer bulmaktadır. Elektrikli araçlar uygulamalarında, sürüş menzilinin ve dolayısıyla enerji veriminin en kritik konu olması nedeniyle sistemdeki enerji veriminin arttırılması büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu kontrol yöntemiyle motorun, talep edilen elektromanyetik momenti minimum akımla üretmesi hedeflenmiş ve enerji verimine etkisi incelenmiştir. Background and Aim: The aim of the present study was to examine the etiology of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) by underlying cause and determine the characteristics and clinical features of patients with HCC. Materials and Methods: The study comprised 1802 HCC patients diagnosed and followed up by Liver Diseases Outpatient Clinics in 14 tertiary centers in Turkey between 2001 and 2020. Results: The mean age was 62.3 +/- 10.7 years, and 78% of them were males. Of the patients, 82% had cirrhosis. Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection was the most common etiology (54%), followed by hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection (19%) and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) (10%). Of the patients, 56% had a single lesion. Macrovascular invasion and extrahepatic spread were present in 15% and 12% of the patients, respectively. The median serum alpha-fetoprotein level was 25.4 ng/mL. In total, 39% of the patients fulfilled the Milan Criteria. When we compared the characteristics of patients diagnosed before and after January 2016, the proportion of NAFLD-related HCC cases increased after 2016, from 6.6% to 13.4%. Conclusion: Chronic HBV and HCV infections remain the main causes of HCC in Turkey. The importance of NAFLD as a cause of HCC is increasing.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, teknoloji destekli işbirlikli öğrenme ortamında sekizinci sınıf öğrencilerinin üçgenler konusundaki matematiksel akıl yürütmelerinin yapısal ve süreç boyutlarını incelemek ve bu boyutların birbirini nasıl desteklediğini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmanın katılımcıları, bir devlet okulunda öğrenim gören 12 sekizinci sınıf öğrencisidir. Çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan öğretim deneyi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen matematiksel etkinlikler, uygulama sırasında alınan video ve ses kayıtları, öğrencilerin GeoGebra dosyaları, araştırmacının saha notları ve etkinlik temelli görüşmeler veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin matematiksel akıl yürütmelerine yönelik elde edilen veriler Toulmin modeli ve diyalojik yaklaşım ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizi, öğrencilerin üçgenler konusundaki matematiksel akıl yürütmelerinin yapısal boyutu dedüktif, indüktif ve abdüktif türlerini; süreç boyutu ise gerekçelendirme, karşılaştırma, varsayımda bulunma ve genelleme bileşenlerini içerdiğini göstermiştir. Diğer yandan, karşılaştırma ve gerekçelendirme süreçlerinin dedüktif yapıda akıl yürütmeyi, varsayımda bulunma ve örneklendirme süreçlerinin abdüktif yapıda akıl yürütmeyi, genelleme ve örüntü belirleme süreçlerinin ise indüktif yapıda akıl yürütmeyi desteklediği görülmüştür. Bulgulardan hareketle ACODESA metodu ve GeoGebra yazılımı kullanılarak oluşturulan teknoloji destekli işbirlikli öğrenme ortamının, öğrencilerin üçgenler konusunda argümanlar ve iddialar üretmesine, açıklamalar ve doğrulamalar yapmasına, matematiksel ilişkileri ve değişmezlikleri fark etmesine, doğru sonuçlara ulaşmasına ve formülleri keşfetmesine, dolayısıyla bu süreçlerin de akıl yürütmelerine olanak sağladığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda, öğrencilerin matematiksel akıl yürütmelerinin yapısal ve süreç boyutları yönünden desteklenmesinde teknoloji destekli işbirlikli öğrenme ortamlarından yararlanılması önerilmektedir. This study aims to examine the structural and process aspects of the eighth-grade students' mathematical reasoning about triangles in a technology-enhanced collaborative learning environment and to reveal how these aspects support each other. The participants of this study are 12 eighth-grade students studying at a public school. The study was designed as a teaching experiment, which is one of the qualitative research methods. Mathematical tasks developed by the researcher, students' GeoGebra files, video and audio recordings captured during the research, researchers' field notes, and task-based interviews were used as data collection tools. Students' mathematical reasoning were analysed using the Toulmin's model and dialogical approach. The data analysis showed that the structural aspect of students' mathematical reasoning about triangles includes deductive, inductive and abductive; and also justifying, comparing, conjecturing, and generalizing components of the process aspect. On the other hand, it has been seen that comparing and justifying processes support deductive reasoning, conjecturing and exemplifying processes support abductive reasoning, and generalizing and identifying a pattern process support inductive reasoning. Based on the results, the technology-enhanced collaborative learning environment created using the ACODESA method and GeoGebra software allows students to generate ideas and claims about triangles, make explanations and validations, recognize mathematical relationships and invariances, reach the correct conclusions and discover formulas; therefore, it has been concluded that these processes allow students to reasoning. In summary, it allows the students to perform reasoning. In line with these results, it is recommended to use the technology-enhanced collaborative learning environments to support the process and structural aspects of students' mathematical reasoning.

Bu çalışmada, sorgulamaya dayalı 5E öğrenme modeli ile ters yüz edilmiş sınıf yaklaşımı bağlamında ortaokul öğrencilerinin çember konusundaki kavramsal anlamaları temsil dönüşümü açısından incelenmektedir. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını bir devlet okulunda yedinci sınıfta öğrenimine devam eden altı öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden öğretim deneyi yöntemi benimsenmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacıların hazırladığı matematiksel etkinlikler, öğrencilerin oluşturmuş olduğu GeoGebra dosyaları, uygulama sırasında alınan görüntü ve ses kayıtları ve uygulama sonrası yapılan etkinlik temelli görüşmeler kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin kavramsal anlamalarının ayrıntılı incelenmesi için veriler söylem analizi yoluyla analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda, giriş aşamasının sınıf dışı süreci için hazırlanan videonun öğrencilerin çemberin ve çember parçasının uzunluğuna ilişkin ön bilgilerini hatırlamasını; açıklama aşamasının sınıf dışı süreci için hazırlanan videoların ise öğrencilerin konuyu tekrar etmesini sağladığı belirlenmiştir. Değerlendirme aşamasının sınıf içi sürecinde öğrencilerin problem durumuna çözüm üretirken en az iki temsil sistemi arasında dönüşüm yapabildiği görülmüştür. Çalışmada sorgulamaya dayalı 5E öğrenme modeli ile ters yüz edilmiş sınıf yaklaşımı kapsamında uygulanan GeoGebra destekli etkinliklerde öğrencilerin farklı temsil sistemlerini kullanarak temsiller arası dönüşüm gerçekleştirmelerinin kavramsal anlama süreçlerine katkı sağladığı belirlenmiştir. This study examines middle school students' conceptual understanding of the circle in terms of transformation of semiotic representations within the context of the flipped classroom approaches with the 5E inquiry model. The participants of the research are six seventh graders in a public school. The teaching experiment method was used in the study. The mathematical tasks prepared by the researchers, the GeoGebra files created by the students, video and audio recordings, and task-based interviews were used as data collection tools. Discourse analysis was used to examine the students' conceptual understanding in detail. The results revealed that the video in the out-of-class process of the engagement phase enhanced the students to remember their prior knowledge and the videos in the out-of-class process of the explanation phase helped the students to repeat the subject. In in-class activity of the evaluation phase, the students made a transformation among at least two representation systems to solve the problem situation. The results revealed that in the GeoGebra-supported tasks implemented within the scope of the flipped classroom approaches with the 5E inquiry model, the students made a transformation of semiotic representations using different representation registers, which has contributed to their conceptual understanding.

This word is generally used in relation to the devil in the Qur'an. However, it was used in three verses, al-A'raf 7/16, Hud 11/34, and al-Hijr 15/39, attributing it to Almighty Allah. In this respect, the aforementioned three verses can be interpreted in different ways in terms of destiny, freedom of will, human actions, searching for the right way-aberration, which are important issues of theology. This case has led the commentators to make various comments in the context of the relevant verses. In this study, first of all, the meaning of the word "igva" was tried to be determined and the use of this word in the Qur'an was examined. Then, the interpretations of Tabari, Zamakhshari and Razi, in the context of the three verses mentioned, were examined. In our study, while Tabari and Razi, who are among those commentators, represent Ahl as-Sunna; Zamakhshari represents Mu'tazila. In this study, the effect of madhhab affiliation on the interpretations of the aforesaid verses has been tried to be determined and the reflection of the attitudes and criticisms towards other sects on the interpretation has been examined.

Bu çalışma kapsamında, AISI 1040 çelik altlık üzerine elektrodepolama yöntemi dört farklı şekilde uygulanmıştır. Altlık üzerine öncelikle Ni-Cr alaşım kaplama yapılmıştır. pH, sıcaklık, akım yoğunluğu ve karıştırma hızı parametrelerinin üç farklı seviyesi kullanılarak, Taguchi deney tasarım metodunun önerdiği L9 ortagonal dizinine göre üretilmiş ve korozyon hızına göre kıyaslanmıştır. Ayrıca ANOVA kullanılarak, parametrelerin sonuca etki yüzdeleri tespit edilmiştir. İkinci olarak Ni-Cr alaşım kaplamaların karakteristik özelliği olan çatlakların giderilmesi için kaplama banyosu içerisine farklı miktarlarda (0, 0,5, 1, 2 g/l) sakkarin ilavesinin etkisi incelenmiştir. Üretilen kaplamalar karakterize edilmiş, mekanik ve korozyon davranışları irdelenmiştir. Üçüncü olarak Ni-Cr kaplamaların aşınma ve mekanik özelliklerinin iyileştirilmesi için kaplamalar hBN takviyesi ile kompozit olarak üretilmiştir. Banyo konsantrasyonlarına farklı miktarlarda (0, 5, 10, 20, 30 g/l) hBN takviye edilerek kaplamalar üretilmiştir. Son olarak; kaplama ile altlık arasındaki geçişlerin iyileştirilmesi amacıyla Ni-Cr/hBN kaplamalar üç farklı banyo kullanılarak fonksiyonel olarak üretilmiştir. Dönüşümlü voltametri tekniği kullanılarak üretilen kaplamaların elektrokimyasal davranışlarını, X ışını kırınımı ile kristal yapılarını, taramalı elektron mikroskobu ve enerji dispersiv X-ışını analizi ile yüzey morfolojileri ve içerik analizleri incelenmiş, mikrosertlik, nanosertlik ve yüzey pürüzlülük ölçümleri de ayrıca yapılmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra kaplamaların aşınma dayanımları incelenmiştir. Ayrıca elde edilen kaplamalar % 3,5 tuzlu su (NaCl) çözeltisinde, açık devre potansiyeli, Tafel ekstrapolasyon ve elektrokimyasal empedans spektroskopisi metotlarıyla korozyon davranışları incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak; kaplama banyosuna eklenen sakkarin ile Ni-Cr kaplamalardaki çatlaklı yapı oluşumları giderilmiştir. Ayrıca hBN takviyesi ile hem mekanik (sertlik, aşınma) hem de korozyon dayanımlarında iyileştirmeler sağlanmıştır. Fonksiyonel kaplamalar ile sertlik ve korozyon dirençlerindeki artışa ilave olarak kaplama ve altlık arasındaki yapışmalar geliştirilmiştir., In this thesis, AISI 1040 steel substrate was coated with electrodeposition method in for different ways. Firstly, Ni-Cr alloy coating was applied on the substrate. By referring to three different levels for pH, temperature, current density and stirring speed parameters, the samples were produced in according to the L9 orthogonal sequence suggested by the Taguchi experimental design method and then compared to each other by their corrosion rate. Also, by utilizing ANOVA, the percentages of the parameters affecting the results were determined. Secondly, different amounts of saccharin (0, 0.5, 1, 2 g/l) were added into the coating bath to remove the cracks that are characteristic of Ni-Cr alloy coatings. Thus coating samples were produced, characterized and their mechanical and corrosion behavior were examined. Thirdly, in order to improve the wear and mechanical properties of Ni-Cr coatings, the hBN addition was considered. Coatings were produced by adding different amounts (0, 5, 10, 20, 30 g / l) of hBN to bath concentrations. Finally, Ni-Cr/hBN coatings were produced functionally by using three different baths in order to improve the adhesion between the coating and the substrate. The electrochemical behavior of the coatings produced using the cyclic voltammetry technique. The investigation of crystal structures were conducted with X-ray diffraction and the surface morphologies and content analysis were conducted with scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray analysis. The microhardness, nano hardness and surface roughness measurements were also concluded. Moreover, the wear resistance of the coatings was examined. Also, the corrosion performances of the coatings obtained were investigated in 3.5% NaCl solution by utilizing open circuit potential, tafel extrapolation and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy methods. Results proved that the cracked structures of Ni-Cr coatings were removed by adding saccharine to the plating bath and improvements in both mechanical and corrosion behavior were achieved with hBN addition. As a final note, the adhesion strength of the coatings were determined to be increased with the functional coating.

The implementations of fuel cells (FCs) in the vehicle industry have gained great attention for the last few decades owing to simple utilization, silent operation, high efficiency and modular structure. Technological advancements show that the use of FCs in electric vehicles (EVs) will increase rapidly and cause a revolution, and will be an alternative to traditional vehicles in the future. Commercial vehicles, projects and research show that work is underway to ensure that FCEVs have sufficient performance advances for their daily transportation needs. However, the lack of a detailed study that will shed light on researchers working in this field is obvious. It aims to provide a comprehensive scientific publication on the current status and future expectations to engineers and researchers interested in this field. In the current study, numerous studies have been examined in detail and added as supplementary to the bibliography. In this context, FCEVs are classified under headings of configurations, systems components, control/management, technical challenges, marketing and future aspects. First of all, FC types and electric motors are discussed in terms of their application areas, characteristic properties and operating conditions. Power converters, which are voltage regulation and motor drive topologies used in FCEVs, are detailed according to the structural frequency of use, structure, and complexity. In the next sections, control issues for converters and technical challenges are branched for FCEVs. In final section, the current status and future aspects are reported using a large number of marketing and target data.

Drilling is one of the most common methods for the production of hydrocarbon or geothermal sources. Success of drilling operations depend on the mechanical and thermal properties of drilling mud. Since ensure direct connect between formation and surface, it is main factor which should be control in drilling. It provides some basic properties during the drilling process such as controlling the formation pressure, carrying the cuttings from bit to surface, suspending solids in the mud when circulation is stopped, forming low-permeability filter cake, maintaining the stability of the borehole, reducing friction between the drilling string and the sides of the hole, cooling and lubricating the bit, assisting in the collection and interpretation of information available from cuttings etc. One of the most significant tasks of the drilling mud is controlling the formation pressure. This pressure, also named as hydrostatic pressure, depends on the depth and mud weight. Also, the mud weight depends mainly High Gravity Solids (HGS), such as barite or calcium carbonate, in the drilling mud. Hence, it is necessary to add these materials when the weight of the mud is desired to be increased. Drilling mud is one of the most important parameters in drilling operations. The main purpose of it is to bring the cuttings from the formation to the surface. For this purpose, the drilling mud must reach a certain viscosity value in order to transport the cuttings to the surface. The viscosity, which has a significant effect on the easy transport of crumbs to the surface, should be observed regularly during drilling. These measurements are made to determine if the drilling mud is efficient. In the present study, estimation of the viscosity of the drilling mud with the Barite, Calcium Carbonate and Olivine were investigated by using artificial neural network. Spud type muds were prepared according to American Petroleum Institute (API) Spec. 13Astandart and then, these materials were added in different amounts (1-6 wt%). Rheological and filtration analysis of the muds were done according to American Petroleum Institute (API) standards. The developed neural network architecture is trained by the limited experimental data and the estimation performance of it is tested with the data not used in training. The results obtained from the viscometer and artificial neural network estimation were compared with each other and they showed sufficient agreement for viscosity estimation of drilling mud. It is observed that the average percentage error in estimation of the drilling mud viscosity was found to be less than 2%. According to the results, the designed artificial neural network structure has very successful prediction performance and it can say that ANN could be used with directly estimate the viscosity or other rheological parameters without any more experimental procedures after training the network with adequate samples.

‘Abd Allah b. Ḏj̲ubayr is one of the important names of the Ansar, a member of the al-Aws Tribe. He was known as a person who fought for the spread of Islam by becoming Muslim in the early days when Islam began to spread in Yat̲h̲rib and took risks for this regard. Although he had faith before The Second Aqabah Pledge, he had never been able to meet the Prophet. He was able to meet him here and took his place among the Companions. He never left the side of the prophet whom he believed in when their paths crossed during the Second Aqabah Pledge and took on important duties in his struggle. After participating in the Battle of Badr, he took Abu’l Âs prisoner at the end of the war and released him without ransom at the request of the Prophet after the war. He served as the commander of the archers on ‘Ayneyn Hill, which was a critical position during the Uḥud Battle. When the Prophet told them that they should not leave there no matter what happens, solemnly he fulfilled it. At the beginning of the battle, he was not getting excited by following events that happen in favour of Muslims. The archers, who saw that the army of polytheists who was about to be defeated had fled, began to leave from the hill thinking that the war was over, he retained his place. Because some of archers could not maintain the same stability, K̲h̲ālid b. al-Walīd, who has been looking for opportunity since the beginning of the war, when he saw the archers on the hill going down, he attacked there with his troop and they killed many archers, especially ‘Abd Allah b. Ḏj̲ubayr. In this article, the life, and activities of ‘Abdullah b. Ḏj̲ubayr the famous archer of Uhud who has many good qualities, such as being brave, generous, helpful and forward-thinking will be discussed., Abdullah b. Peygamber onlara ne olursa olsun buradan ayrılmamaları gerektiğini söylediğinde bunu ciddiyetle uyguladı. Savaşın ilk başlarında Müslümanların lehine gelişen hadiseleri iyi takip edip heyecana kapılmadı. Yenilmek üzere olan müşrik ordusunun kaçtığını gören maiyetindeki okçuların bazıları savaşın bittiğini zannederek tepeden inmeye başladıklarında o kendi yerini korudu. Fakat arkadaşlarının bir kısmı aynı istikrarı sağlayamadıklarından savaşın başından beri fırsat kollayan Hâlid b. Velîd tepedeki okçuların indiğini görünce birliği ile buraya hücum edip Abdullah b. Bu lafız Kur’ân’da genellikle şeytanla ilişkili olarak kullanılmıştır. Ancak el-A’râf 7/16, Hûd 11/34 ve el-Hicr 15/39 ayeti olmak üzere üç yerde ise yüce Allah’a izafe edilerek kullanılmıştır. Bu yönüyle mezkûr üç ayet, kelâmın mühim konulardan olan kader, irade hürriyeti, insanın fiilleri, hidayet-dalalet açısından farklı şekillerde yorumlanmaya müsaittir. Bu durum, ilgili ayetler bağlamında müfessirlerin çeşitli yorumlar yapmasına neden olmuştur. Bu çalışmada, öncelikle “iğvâ” lafzının anlamı tespit edilmeye çalışılmış ve bu lafzın Kur’ân’da kullanımı incelenmiştir. Ardından Taberî, Zemahşerî ve Râzî’nin tefsirleri özelinde, zikredilen üç ayetin bağlamında, iğvâ ile ilgili yaptıkları yorumlar irdelenmiştir. Çalışmamızda, bu müfessirlerden Taberî ve Râzî Ehl-i sünnet’i temsil ederken; Zemahşerî de Mu‘tezile’yi temsil etmektedir. Bu çalışmada, mezkûr ayetlerin tefsiri bağlamında yapılan yorumlarda mezhebî mensubiyetin etkisi tespit edilmeye çalışılmış; diğer mezheplere yönelik tavır ve eleştirilerin tefsire yansıması incelenmiştir.

Giriş: Twitter'da her gün çok sayıda elektrokardiyogram (EKG) paylaşılmaktadır. Bazıları okuyuculara bilgi vermeyi, bazıları ise mini bir quiz ile eğitim vermeyi amaçlıyor. Bu çalışma Twitter'da paylaşılan EKG görüntülerinin değerlendirilebilirliğini tartışmayı amaçlamıştır.Yöntemler: Çalışma örneklemi Twitter'da paylaşılan 12 derivasyonlu EKG görüntülerinden oluşturuldu. 08/01/2020 - 01/31/2021 tarihinde paylaşılan EKG görüntüleri manuel olarak taranmıştır.Bulgular: Belirlenen tarihlerde kriterlere uyan toplam 286 tweet çalışmaya dahil edildi. Çoğunluğu (n = 231, %80,5) okuyucuya EKG'yi sordu. Tweetlerin ortalama etkileşim sayısı 70.42 ± 112.17 idi ve etkileşim ağırlıklı olarak "beğeni" (50.49 ± 80.64) şeklindeydi. İnsanlık tarihinde en çok merak edilen konulardan biri cinlerin varlığı ve mahiyetidir. Cinlerin mevcudiyeti hakkında kesin deliller bulunmasına rağmen konuyla ilgili şüphe uyandıran bazı görüşler de mevzubahistir. Bu çalışmada, cinlerin varlığını kabul etmeyenlerin görüşlerinin isabetli olmadığı, Kur’ân, Sünnet, aklî ve bilimsel delillerle ortaya konulacaktır. Söz konusu delillerin gösterdiğine göre cinler de, insanlar gibi yapıp ettiklerinden sorumlu tutulacaklar ve amelleri gereğince ya cennet ya da cehennem ehlinden olacaklardır.Çalışmada cinlerin görülüp görülmemesi, birbirleriyle ve diğer varlıklarla teması ve etkileşimi tartışılacaktır. Cinlerle ilgili bu ve benzeri hususları ele alan makale ve kitapların yanı sıra cinler hakkında bilgi verenlerden biri de “el-Câmi’ li Ahkâmi’l-Kur’ân” adlı eserin müellifi Kurtubî’dir. Kurtubî, cinlerin varlığını inkâr edenlere onların gerekçelerinden daha güçlü delillerle karşı çıkarak cinlerin varlığını müdafaa etmiştir. In recent years, paradigmatic changes have been observed in the formulation and restructuring of a quintessential state aesthetics and epistemology as well as in the establishment of a foundational state aparatus and ontology in the Turkish context. These moves have been deemed necessary and considered as important since the historical context of the last half century has been marked with challenging epistemologies in almost all areas, as well as by very rapid changes and breakthroughs in the field of science and technology, thus requiring indispensable urge to design brand-new educational curricula to be compatible with the ever-increasing and varying demands of the new pedagogical paradigms of the 21st-century, which can be considered to be antithetical to the geopolitical and educational conjuncture of the past century, since the geopolitical landscape of the first half of that century lost any congruence to the new milieu in which the means and modes of the education system have fundamentally undergone paradigmatic changes and since new approaches are being adopted and implimented for the development and implementation of the new pedagogical paradigms in Turkey named as 2023 Educational Vision, which made the means and modes of educational paradigms in the 20th century obsolete and out-of-dated, thus requiring revolutionary changes to be made in all areas of education. Thus, the chief focus of our concern in conducting this research has been to inculcate an awareness and demonstrate an urgent need as well placing greater emphasis on promising improvements and modifications to be put into practice urgently in the context of the well-being of education at national and global levels, facilitating inalienable right to equal opportunities and access to education in relation to the satisfaction of the criteria of various ontological, mental, cognitive and intellectual well-beings of the individuals in an appropriate civilizational process as well as in the ever-accelerating progress of science and technology. Likewise, it would be tempting to say that education systems lacking adequate means and modes to keep pace with innovative approaches and paradigm shifts in various fields on multiple levels of development should be revised and improved in the light of their philosophical and ideological foundations.

Bu çalışmada, sorgulamaya dayalı 5E öğrenme modeli ile ters yüz edilmiş sınıf yaklaşımı bağlamında ortaokul öğrencilerinin çember konusundaki kavramsal anlamaları temsil dönüşümü açısından incelenmektedir. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını bir devlet okulunda yedinci sınıfta öğrenimine devam eden altı öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden öğretim deneyi yöntemi benimsenmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacıların hazırladığı matematiksel etkinlikler, öğrencilerin oluşturmuş olduğu GeoGebra dosyaları, uygulama sırasında alınan görüntü ve ses kayıtları ve uygulama sonrası yapılan etkinlik temelli görüşmeler kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin kavramsal anlamalarının ayrıntılı incelenmesi için veriler söylem analizi yoluyla analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda, giriş aşamasının sınıf dışı süreci için hazırlanan videonun öğrencilerin çemberin ve çember parçasının uzunluğuna ilişkin ön bilgilerini hatırlamasını; açıklama aşamasının sınıf dışı süreci için hazırlanan videoların ise öğrencilerin konuyu tekrar etmesini sağladığı belirlenmiştir. Değerlendirme aşamasının sınıf içi sürecinde öğrencilerin problem durumuna çözüm üretirken en az iki temsil sistemi arasında dönüşüm yapabildiği görülmüştür. Çalışmada sorgulamaya dayalı 5E öğrenme modeli ile ters yüz edilmiş sınıf yaklaşımı kapsamında uygulanan GeoGebra destekli etkinliklerde öğrencilerin farklı temsil sistemlerini kullanarak temsiller arası dönüşüm gerçekleştirmelerinin kavramsal anlama süreçlerine katkı sağladığı belirlenmiştir., This study examines middle school students' conceptual understanding of the circle in terms of transformation of semiotic representations within the context of the flipped classroom approaches with the 5E inquiry model. The participants of the research are six seventh graders in a public school. The teaching experiment method was used in the study. The mathematical tasks prepared by the researchers, the GeoGebra files created by the students, video and audio recordings, and task-based interviews were used as data collection tools. Discourse analysis was used to examine the students' conceptual understanding in detail. The results revealed that the video in the out-of-class process of the engagement phase enhanced the students to remember their prior knowledge and the videos in the out-of-class process of the explanation phase helped the students to repeat the subject. In in-class activity of the evaluation phase, the students made a transformation among at least two representation systems to solve the problem situation. The results revealed that in the GeoGebra-supported tasks implemented within the scope of the flipped classroom approaches with the 5E inquiry model, the students made a transformation of semiotic representations using different representation registers, which has contributed to their conceptual understanding.

Alüminyum alaşımlarının düşük üretim maliyetleri, iyi mekanik özellikleri ve yüksek korozyon dirençleri otomobil ve uzay endüstrisinde kullanılmalarını cazip kılmaktadır. Bu alaşımların farklı takviye parçacıkları ile güçlendirilmesi, ısıl işleme tabi tutulması veya haddelenmesi fiziksel, mekanik ve tribolojik özellikleri olumlu etkiler. Bu çalışmada, Al7075 alaşım matrisine 4 farklı takviye oranında (%4, %8, %10 ve %12) B4C parçacık ve aramid fiber ilave edilerek sıkıştırma döküm yöntemi ile malzemeler üretilmiştir. Üretilen malzemelerin mikroyapıları SEM ve optik mikroskop ile incelenmiş, faz oluşumları ise XRD ve EDX ile analiz edilmiştir. B4C/Al7075 kompozitlerin ve aramid/Al7075 alaşım malzemelerinin fiziksel (sertlik), mekanik (çekme, elastisite modulu, eğme) ve tribolojik özellikleri Al7075 alaşımıyla kıyaslanmıştır. Ayrıca en iyi mekanik özelliklerin elde edildiği B4C ve aramid takviyeli malzemelere ve Al7075 alaşımına, yaşlandırma ve haddeleme işlemi de uygulanarak bu işlemlerin sertlik, çekme ve eğme dayanımları ile tribolojik özelliklere etkisi araştırılmıştır. Numunelerin kırılma ve aşınma yüzeyleri SEM ile incelenmiştir. Takviye oranının etkisi incelendiğinde hem B4C hem de aramid takviyesi kullanılan malzemelerde en yüksek sertlik değerleri %12 takviye oranında görülmüştür. En yüksek çekme ve eğme mukavemeti ise B4C ve aramid takviyeli malzemeler için sırasıyla %10 ve %8 takviye oranından elde edilmiştir. %10 B4C/Al7075 kompozit malzemesinin çekme mukavemeti 249 MPa, eğme mukavemeti 494 MPa iken ve %8 aramid/Al7075 alaşım malzemesininki ise 278 MPa ve 454 MPa olarak belirlenmiştir. Sertlik değerinde olduğu gibi aşınma direncinde de en iyi değerler her iki takviye tipinde %12 oranından elde edilmiştir. B4C ve aramid takviyeleri Al7075 alaşımın aşınma direncini arttırmıştır. Yaşlandırmanın etkisi incelendiğinde, yaşlandırma süresine bağlı olarak malzemelerin belirlenen özelliklerinin oldukça geliştiği, ancak belirli bir yaşlandırma süresinden sonra kısmen düştüğü görülmüştür. Haddeleme işlemi de malzemelerin belirlenen özelliklerini geliştirmiştir, ancak bu etki yaşlandırma işlemindeki kadar yüksek olmamıştır., The low production costs, good mechanical properties, and high corrosion resistance of aluminum alloys make them attractive for use in the automobile and aerospace industries. Reinforcing these alloys with different reinforcement particles, applying heat treatment, or rolling affects their physical, mechanical and tribological properties positively. In this study, B4C particle and aramid fiber were added in 4 different reinforcement ratios (4%, 8%, 10% and 12%) to the Al7075 alloy matrix and their production was carried out by squeeze casting method. Microstructures of the produced materials were investigated with SEM and optical microscope, and phase formations were also analyzed with XRD and EDX. The physical (hardness), mechanical (tensile, modulus of elasticity, flexural) and tribological properties of the B4C/Al7075 composites and aramid/Al7075 alloy materials were compared with the Al7075 alloy. In addition, aging and rolling processes were applied to B4C and aramid reinforced materials, where the best mechanical properties were obtained, and Al7075 alloy and the effects of these processes on hardness, tensile and flexural strengths and tribological properties were investigated. The fracture and worn surfaces of specimens were analysed by SEM. When the effect of reinforcement ratio was examined, the highest hardness values were obtained at the rate of 12% reinforcement for both B4C and aramid reinforcement. The highest tensile and flexural strengths were obtained from 10% and 8% reinforcement ratios for B4C and aramid reinforced materials, respectively. Tensile strength of 10% B4C/Al7075 composite material was 249 MPa, flexural strength was 494 MPa, and that of 8% aramid/Al7075 alloy material was determined as 278 MPa and 454 MPa. As in the hardness value, the best values in wear resistance were obtained from ratio of 12% in both reinforcement types. B4C and aramid reinforcements increased the wear resistance of the Al7075 alloy. When the effect of aging was examined, it was observed that the certain properties of the materials were considerably improved depending on the aging period, but they partially decreased after a certain aging time. The rolling process also improved the certain properties of the materials, but this effect was not as high as in the aging process.

The aim of this case study was to present the effect of partial pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) in two cases that is due to the presence of an intraocular foreign body (IOFB) and intraocular lens (IOL) that has dropped into the intravitreal area. The first case was a 30-year-old man with IOFB in the right eye, and the second case was a 34-year-old woman whose IOL was dropped into vitreous after trauma. In cases, IOFB and IOL were extracted from vitreous performed by partial PPV without complication. Partial PPV was effective despite without complete vitrectomy. With minimal/partial vitrectomy approach, most of the vitreous tissues was left in place. We believe that this approach will reduce the rate of complications, such as cataract and retinal detachment.

The aims of the present study were to evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of ledipasvir/sofosbuvir (LDV/SOF) with or without ribavirin in the treatment of chronic hepatitis C (CHC) in patients with advanced liver disease and to analyse whether the use of LDV/SOF treatment is associated with a new occurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) during and after LDV/SOF treatment. The Turkish Early Access Program provided LDV/SOF treatment to a total of 200 eligible CHC patients with advanced liver disease. The median follow-up period was 22 months. All patients were Caucasian, 84% were infected with genotype 1b, and 24% had a liver transplantation before treatment. The sustained virological response (SVR12) was 86.0% with ITT analysis. SVR12 was similar among patients with Child-Pugh classes A, B and C disease and transplant recipients. From baseline to SVR12, serum ALT level and MELD score were significantly improved (P < 0.001). LDV/SOF treatment was generally well tolerated. Only one patient developed a new diagnosed HCC. Seventeen of the 35 patients, who had a history of previous HCC, developed HCC recurrence during the LDV/SOF treatment or by a median follow-up of 6 months after treatment. HCC recurrence was less commonly observed in patients who received curative treatment for HCC compared with those patients who received noncurative treatment (P = 0.007). In conclusion, LDV/SOF with or without ribavirin is an effective and tolerable treatment in CHC patients with advanced liver disease. Eradication is associated with improvements in liver function and a reduced risk of developing a new occurrence of HCC.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ülkemizde son yıllarda önemli bir yer tutan yıllara yaygın inşaat, taahhüt ve onarım işlerine ait finansal işlemleri Vergi Usul Kanunu, TMS 11 İnşaat Sözleşmeleri Standardı ve TFRS 15 Müşteri Sözleşmelerinden Hasılat Standardı kapsamında incelemektir. Çalışma sonucunda, vergi kanunlarının benimsediği tamamlanma yöntemine göre hazırlanan finansal tabloların, işletmeler ve finansal tablo kullanıcıları açısından yanıltıcı sonuçlar verdiği görülmüştür. İnşaat işi devam ederken, kâr/zarar hakkında her hangi bir bilginin verilmediği için yöntem her ne kadar kesin sonuçlar içerse de dönemsellik kavramı ile çelişmektedir.. TMS 11 standardında tamamlanma yüzdesi yöntemine göre hazırlanan finansal tablolar, dönemsellik kavramı ile bağdaşmakta ancak tahminlere dayalı sonuçlar içermektedir. Bu standartta hasılatın tanımı net bir şekilde yapılmadığından yaşanan kavram karmaşasını ortadan kaldırmak için TFRS 15 Müşteri Sözleşmelerinden Hasılat Standardı getirilmiştir. TFRS 15’te tanımlanan girdi yöntemine göre hazırlanan finansal tablolar, inşaat işlerinden elde edilen hasılatın tutarı konusunda daha detaylı bilgiler sunmaktadır.

ÖzetAmaç: Bu çalışmada COVID-19 pandemisinin pediatrik üroloji ameliyatlarına etkisini araştırmayı amaçladık.Materyal ve metod: Tıp Fakültesi Pediatrik Üroloji Kliniği’ne pandemi döneminde (19 Mart-22 Aralık 2020) ve pandemi öncesi dönemde (19 Mart-22 Aralık 2019) polikliniğe başvuran ve önlemler eşliğinde ameliyat edilen pediatrik hastaların hastane kayıtları retrospektif incelendi. Pandemi dönemi ve öncesi poliklinik hasta sayıları, ameliyat sayıları ve endikasyonları, ameliyat türleri karşılaştırıldı. Cerrahi prosedürlerin isimleri ve sayılar Avrupa Üroloji Derneği (EAU) öncelik sınıflandırmasına göre listelendi.Bulgular: COVID-19 pandemisi döneminde polikliniğe pediatrik hasta başvuru sayısı 2361 iken pandemi öncesi aynı dönemde 5214 idi. Pandemi döneminde polikliniğe başvuran hasta sayısının % 54,8 azaldığı görüldü. Pandemi döneminde toplam pediatrik ameliyat sayısı 316, pandemi dönemi öncesi 741 idi. Pandemi dönemi, pandemi öncesi ile karşılaştırıldığında pediatrik üroloji ameliyatlarında %58,4 azalma olduğu görüldü. Pandemi döneminde acil ameliyat sayısı 69, pandemi öncesi dönemde 85 idi. Pandemi döneminde acil ameliyatlardaki azalma %18,8 idi. Opere edilen hiçbir hastada COVID-19 nedeniyle komplikasyon izlenmedi.Sonuç: COVID-19 salgını sırasında hastanemizdeki pediatrik üroloji poliklinik başvurusu ve ameliyat sayısının azalmış olduğu görüldü. Acil müdahalelerin gerekli olduğu olgularda yeterli önlemler alınarak, herhangi bir kontaminasyon ve mortalite olmaksızın cerrahi operasyonlarının uygulanabilirliği görüldü., Investigation of the effect of Covid-19 pandemic on pediatric urology operations in Şanliurfa province, where the birth rate is the highest in TurkeyAbstract: Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on pediatric urology operations. Materials and Methods: Hospital records of pediatric patients who applied to Harran University Medical Faculty Pediatric Urology Clinic during the pandemic period (19 March-22 December 2020) and pre-pandemic period (19 March-22 December 2019) and were operated with precautions were retrospectively analyzed. The number of outpatient clinic patients during and before the pandemic period, the number of operations and indications, and the types of surgery were compared. The names and numbers of surgical procedures are listed according to the European Association of Urology (EAU) priority classification.Results: During the COVID-19 pandemic period, the number of pediatric patients admitted to the outpatient clinic was 2361, while it was 5214 in the same period before the pandemic. It was observed that the number of patients who applied to the outpatient clinic decreased by 54.8% during the pandemic period. While the total number of pediatric operations was 316 during the pandemic period, it was 741 before the pandemic period. When the pandemic period was compared with the pre-pandemic period, a 58.4% reduction was observed in pediatric urology operations. The number of emergency operations was 69 during the pandemic period and 85 in the pre-pandemic period. During the pandemic period, the reduction in emergency operations was 18.8%. No complications were observed due to COVID-19 in any of the operated patients.Conclusion: During the COVID-19 epidemic, it was observed that the number of pediatric urology outpatient clinic admissions and surgeries in our hospital decreased. In cases where urgent interventions were required, adequate precautions were taken, and surgical operations could be applied without any contamination and mortality. “Öğretim Perspektifi” kavramı Pratt (1998) tarafından geliştirilmiş olup eğitimcilerin öğretime nasıl baktıklarını tanımlayan bir kavramdır. Bu araştırmanın amacı sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının öğretim perspektiflerinin ne düzeyde olduğunu incelemek ve çeşitli değişkenlere göre anlamlı olarak farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını görmektir. Sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının öğretim perspektiflerini incelemek amacıyla, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesinde öğrenim görmekte olan 109 sınıf öğretmeni adayına ölçek uygulanmıştır. Sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının öğretim perspektifleri incelenirken cinsiyet değişkenine, eğitim fakültesi tercihini isteyerek yapma durumuna ve öğretmenlik mesleğine kendini hazır hissetme durumuna göre incelenmiştir. Araştırmada sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının öğretim perspektiflerinin cinsiyet değişkenlerine göre anlamlı olarak farklılaşmadığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Eğitim fakültesi tercihini isteyerek yapma değişkenine göre “Teşvik etme” hariç diğer perspektiflerde anlamlı farklılık görülmüştür. Öğretmenlik mesleğine kendini hazır hissetme değişkenine göre ise sadece “Aktarma” ve “Toplumsal reform” perspektiflerinde anlamlı farklılaşma olmuştur. 109 sınıf öğretmeni adayının sahip olduğu öğretim perspektifleri (Aktarma, Yetiştirme, Geliştirme, Teşvik Etme, Toplumsal Reform) incelendiğinde %42(46) oranında baskın perspektif “Teşvik etme” olurken bu oran “Toplumsal reform” perspektifinde sadece %2(2) oranında kendini göstermiştir., The concept of “Teaching Perspective” was developed by Pratt (1998) and is a concept that defines how educators view teaching. The aim of this study is to examine classroom teacher candidates' teaching perspectives and to see their differentiation according to variables. In order to examine the teaching perspectives of classroom teacher candidates, the scale was applied to 109 classroom teacher candidates studying at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. Classroom teacher candidates educational perspectives were examined according to the gender variable, the state of willingly making the choice of the Faculty of education and the state of feeling ready for the teaching profession. There is no significant difference in the teachers' perspectives of classroom teacher candidates according to gender variables. According to the variable of voluntarily making the choice of education faculty, there is no significant difference only in "Nurturing". According to the variable of feeling ready for the teaching profession, there was a significant difference only in the "Transmission" and "Social reform" perspectives. When the teaching perspectives (Transmission, Apprenticeship, Developmental, Nurturing, Social Reform) of 109 classroom teacher candidates were examined, 42(46)% of the dominant perspective was “Nurturing”, while only 2(2)% showed themselves in the “Social Reform” perspective.

Bu çalışmada, farklı yazı türleriyle ilk okuma yazma öğrenen sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının her iki yazı türüne yönelik görüşlerini ve yazılarının okunaklılık düzeylerini araştırmak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan olgubilim (fenomenoloji) yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Temel Eğitim Bölümü Sınıf Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı’nda 2018-2019 öğretim yılı içerisinde 3. ve 4. sınıfta öğrenim gören öğretmen adayları araştırmanın çalışma grubunu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmen adaylarının yazılarının okunaklılığını değerlendirmek için Yıldız ve Ateş (2007) tarafından geliştirilen “Çok Boyutlu Okunaklılık Ölçeği”, her iki yazı türüne ilişkin görüşlerini değerlendirmek için de “Öğretmen Adayı Görüşme Formu” ile veriler elde edilmiştir. Veriler yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile toplanmış, verilerin modelleştirilmesinde NVIVO 12 Plus programı kullanılmıştır. “Dikte Çalışmaları Formu” kullanılarak “Çok Boyutlu Okunaklılık Ölçeği”nden elde edilen verilerin analizlerine göre katılımcıların çoğunun yazılarının okunaklı olmadığı, bitişik eğik yazıya göre dik temel yazıyla daha anlaşılır ve okunaklı yazdıkları görülmüştür. Öğrendikleri yazı türüne göre incelendiğinde ise ilk okuma yazmayı dik temel yazı ile öğrenenlerin, bitişik eğik yazı ile öğrenenlerle kıyaslandığında hem dik temel yazıyla hem de bitişik eğik yazıyla yazılan metinlerde yazılarının daha okunaklı olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Görüşme sorularından elde edilen bulguların analizinde ise araştırmaya katılan sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının iki yazı türüne ilişkin görüşleri kıyaslandığında dik temel yazı türüne her iki yazı türüyle öğrenen öğrenciler de daha olumlu yönde görüşler ifade etmişlerdir., The aim of this study is to investigate the opinions of the prospective classroom teachers who learned to read and write with different types of writing methods, and the legibility levels of their writing. One of the qualitative research methods, phenomenology method was used in the study. The study group of the research consists of the teacher candidates studying in the 3rd and 4th grade in the Classroom Education Department of the Faculty of Education at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University in the academic year of 2018-2019. In order to evaluate the legibility of the writings of the prospective teachers participating in the study, the data were collected with the "Multi-Dimensional Legibility Scale" developed by Yıldız and Ateş (2007), and to evaluate their views about manuscript and cursive handwriting styles, the "Teacher Candidate Interview Form" was used. The data were collected with a semi-structured interview form, and NVIVO 12 Plus program was used in the modeling of the data. According to the analysis of the data obtained from the "Multidimensional Legibility Scale" using the "Dictation Studies Form", it was observed that the writings of the most of the participants were not legible, and they wrote more understandable and legible with manuscript writing style than cursive handwriting style. When the type of writing they learned to read and write for the first time was examined, it was concluded that the writings of those who first learned to read and write with manuscript writing style were more legible in texts written both in manuscript writing and in cursive handwriting compared to those who learned with cursive handwriting style. In the analysis of the findings obtained from the interview questions, when the opinions of the classroom teacher candidates participating in the study on the both writing types were compared, the students who learned the manuscript writing type with both writing types expressed more positive opinions.

Günümüzde tüketicilerin satın alma alternatiflerinin artması ile birlikte firmaların tüketicilerin satın alma davranışlarını etkileyen faktörleri incelemesi ve nelere dikkat ettiğini iyi tespit etmesi gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, tüketicilerin satın alma davranışlarını etkileyen pek çok bütünleşik faktörlerden sayısal ve duyusal verilerden tüketiciler tarafından hangisinin tercih edildiğini tespit etmek ve tüketicilerin satın alma davranışlarında ambalaj üzerinde en çok hangi bilgileri dikkate aldığını tespit etmektir. Çalışmada tüketiciler tercih ettikleri bilgi türüne göre makine öğrenmesi yöntemi kullanılarak modellenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri anket tekniği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Örneklem seçimi uygunluk örneklemesi yöntemi kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Çalışmada 18 adet makine öğrenmesine dayalı yöntem kullanılarak tüketiciler sınıflandırılmaya çalışılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre tüketicilerin sayısal ve duyusal bilgi tercihlerine göre iki grupta sınıflandırılabileceği ve makine öğrenmesi algoritmalarından Linear Support Vector Machine (LSVM) yönteminin bu sınıflandırmayı yapan en iyi algoritma olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. This study aims to research consumers’ numerical and sensory information preferences and to determine what information the consumers take most on the packaging. In this study, data obtained from the participants’ have been studied with machine learning methods according to the information type they prefer. The data of the study were collected using a questionnaire form. Sample selection was done by using a convenience sampling method. In this study, consumers are classified with 18 big data-based machine learning methods. According to the results, the Linear Support Vector Machine (LSVM) method supports the best result. The use of big data analysis methods in marketing is the contribution of this study to the current literature. In practice, determining the type of information needs of the target consumers helps package designers in designing the information to be included in the packaging

Objectives: Several methods of measuring central corneal thickness (CCT) have been compared, however, the data are still limited and conflicting. The aim of this study was to determine the agreement of CCT measurements performed in healthy eyes using ultrasound pachymetry (USP), non-contact tono/pachymetry, specular microscopy, biometry, Scheimpflug-based corneal topography, and optical coherence tomography (OCT). Methods: All of the participants underwent a complete ophthalmological examination. The CCT of all of the eyes included was measured using 6 different methods. The agreement between the methods was analyzed using the mean difference and Bland-Altman analysis based on a 95% limits of agreement. Results: A total of 64 patients with a mean age of 40.96±14.52 years (range: 20-78 years) were included in the study. The mean CCT value was 552.10±35.65 ?m, 550.40±35.55 ?m, 554.67±35.49 ?m, 545.39±34.21 ?m, 546.25±35.49 ?m, and 552.64±33.59 ?m using USP, non-contact tono/pachymetry, non-contact specular microscopy, biometry, Scheimpflugbased corneal topography, and OCT, respectively. The bias values determined by Bland-Altman plots were -1.70, -2.56, 6.71, 5.85, and -0.53 for tono/pachymetry, specular microscopy, biometry, topography, and OCT, respectively. OCT demonstrated the lowest bias compared to USP. The overall intraclass correlation coefficient was 0.961 (range: 0.945- 0.974) with a 95% confidence interval. Conclusion: All of the CCT measurements obtained using non-contact tono/pachymetry, non-contact specular microscopy, biometry, Scheimpflug-based corneal topography, and OCT were consistent with the USP measurements of healthy controls. Larger prospective studies to determine the interchangeability of different methods for CCT measurements in pathological conditions are warranted.

Objective: To evaluate the urgency of ophthalmology consultations in the emergency department (ED) and the presence of ophthalmic pathology. This study also aimed to determine whether the weekend phenomenon affected emergency ophthalmologic consultation requests. Materials and Methods: Ophthalmology consultations requested by the emergency physician for patients who visited the ED of a tertiary care hospital in Turkey from January to December 2019 were retrospectively investigated. Consultation requests were grouped as possible emergent, unlikely to be emergent, and undetermined. Results: A total of 256 eligible patients were included. The top three reasons for ophthalmologic consultations were blunt trauma (29.7%), foreign body (24.2%), and conjunctivitis (13.3%). 70.3% of the consultations were categorized as a possible emergent, 18.4% as unlikely to be emergent, and 11.3% undetermined. Most of the possible emergent consultations had ophthalmic pathology (p=0.001). Conclusion: Traumatic injuries are the most common cause of ophthalmology consultation in the ED. Approximately one-fifth of patients are unlikely to be emergent. Early ophthalmology evaluation is required in possible emergent category patients. The weekend effect does not influence ophthalmology consultations. Establishing eye emergency services or having an available ophthalmologist is crucial in the emergency diagnosis and treatment of patients who require special practice skills. Amaç: Acil serviste oftalmoloji konsültasyonlarının aciliyetini ve oftalmik patolojinin varlığını değerlendirmek. Bu çalışma aynı zamanda hafta sonu fenomeninin, acil oftalmolojik konsültasyon taleplerini etkileyip etkilemediğini belirlemeyi amaçladı. Materyal ve Metot: Türkiye'de bir üçüncü basamak hastanenin acil servisini Ocak-Aralık 2019 tarihleri arasında ziyaret eden hastalar için acil hekimi tarafından talep edilen oftalmoloji konsültasyonları geriye dönük olarak incelendi. Konsültasyon talepleri olası acil, acil olması muhtemel olmayan ve belirsiz olarak gruplandırıldı. Bulgular: Çalışmaya uygun toplam 256 hasta dahil edildi. Acil oftalmolojik konsültasyonların ilk üç nedeni künt travma (%29,7), yabancı cisim (%24,2) ve konjonktivit (%13,3) idi. Konsültasyonların %70,3'ü olası acil, % 18,4'ü acil olması muhtemel olmayan ve %11,3'ü belirsiz olarak kategorize edildi. Olası acil kategorideki konsültasyonların çoğunda oftalmik patoloji vardı (p=0.001). Sonuç: Travmatik yaralanmalar acil serviste oftalmoloji konsültasyonunun en sık nedenidir. Hastaların yaklaşık beşte biri acil olması muhtemel olmayanlardır. Olası acil kategorideki hastalarda erken oftalmoloji değerlendirmesi gereklidir. Hafta sonu etkisi, oftalmoloji konsültasyonlarını etkilememektedir. Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has affected the health system around the world. It is necessary to facilitate health care services with useful parameters in patient follow-up. In this study, we wanted to determine whether platelet indices can be used as an assistant parameter in the clinician's decision-making process regarding which of the patients diagnosed with COVID-19 should be treated by hospitalization. Methods: This retrospective study was performed in a secondary care hospital in Mugla, Turkey. Demographic information such as age, gender, and comorbidities of patients admitted to the emergency pandemic outpatient clinic within five months and diagnosed with COVID-19, as well as discharge, hospitalization, or intensive care needs (ICU), and thirty-day mortality were noted. Also, patients with platelet count (PLT), mean platelet volume (MPV), platelet distribution width (PDW), thrombocytocrit (PCT), MPV/PLT, MPV/PCT, PDW/PLT, PDW/PCT values for outpatient follow-up, hospitalization, intensive care unit need, and 30-day mortality relationships were examined. Results: A total of 93 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 were included in the study. It was observed that those with comorbidity had a statistically significant higher rate of hospitalization (p = 0.013). No statistically significant difference was found between outpatients and inpatients in terms of PLT, MPV, PDW, PCT, MPV/PLT, MPV/PCT, PDW/PLT, and PDW/PCT (p > 0.05 for each). Conclusions: Platelet indices such as PLT, MPV, PDW, PCT, MPV/PLT, MPV/PCT, PDW/PLT, and PDW/PCT are not useful parameters for the clinician to distinguish between outpatient and inpatient treatment of patients with COVID-19. Sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının öğretim perspektifleri incelenirken cinsiyet değişkenine, eğitim fakültesi tercihini isteyerek yapma durumuna ve öğretmenlik mesleğine kendini hazır hissetme durumuna göre incelenmiştir. Araştırmada sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının öğretim perspektiflerinin cinsiyet değişkenlerine göre anlamlı olarak farklılaşmadığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Eğitim fakültesi tercihini isteyerek yapma değişkenine göre “Teşvik etme” hariç diğer perspektiflerde anlamlı farklılık görülmüştür. Öğretmenlik mesleğine kendini hazır hissetme değişkenine göre ise sadece “Aktarma” ve “Toplumsal reform” perspektiflerinde anlamlı farklılaşma olmuştur. 109 sınıf öğretmeni adayının sahip olduğu öğretim perspektifleri (Aktarma, Yetiştirme, Geliştirme, Teşvik Etme, Toplumsal Reform) incelendiğinde %42(46) oranında baskın perspektif “Teşvik etme” olurken bu oran “Toplumsal reform” perspektifinde sadece %2(2) oranında kendini göstermiştir.

Being capable of sensing and behavioral adaptation in line with their changing environments, cognitive cyber-physical systems (CCPSs) are the new form of applications in future wireless networks. With the advancement of the machine learning algorithms, the transmission scheme providing the best performance can be utilized to sustain a reliable network of CCPS agents equipped with self-decision mechanisms, where the interactions between each agent are modeled in terms of service quality, security, and cost dimensions. In this work, first, we provide network utility as a reliability metric, which is a weighted sum of the individual utility values of the CCPS agents. The individual utilities are calculated by mixing the quality of service (QoS), security, and cost dimensions with the proportions determined by the individualized user requirements. By changing the proportions, the CCPS network can be tuned for different applications of next-generation wireless networks. Then, we propose a secure transmission policy selection (STPS) mechanism that maximizes the network utility by using the Markov-decision process (MDP). In STPS, the CCPS network jointly selects the best performing physical layer security policy and the parameters of the selected secure transmission policy to adapt to the changing environmental effects. The aim of this research is to determine the perceptions and the characteristics of consumers to determine their intentions to purchase ready to drink coffee in glass flasks. In this context, this study assesses the food-related lifestyle, and the packaging choice scales to investigate consumers' expectations about ready to drink coffee offered in glass flasks. The study operationalizes CHAID algorithm to build decision trees and visualizes the best obtained decision tree. Intention to purchase is the target variable, 16 factor variables and 12 demographic variables are predictive features. Results suggest that consumers' intentions to purchase ready to drink coffee in glass flasks can be determined by correct preservation, attractiveness, healthiness, and the type of coffee preferences. Decision tree model reveals the consumer profiles in terms of the predictive variables.

Background/Aims: This study aimed to evaluate the real-life efficacy and tolerability of direct-acting antiviral treatments for patients with chronic hepatitis C (CHC) with/without cirrhosis in the Turkish population. Material and Methods: A total of 4,352 patients with CHC from 36 different institutions in Turkey were enrolled. They received ledipasvir (LDV) and sofosbuvir (SOF)+/- ribavirin (RBV) ombitasvir/paritaprevir/ritonavir +/- dasabuvir (PrOD)+/- RBV for 12 or 24 weeks. Sustained virologic response (SVR) rates, factors affecting SVR, safety profile, and hepatocellular cancer (HCC) occurrence were analyzed. Results: SVR12 was achieved in 92.8% of the patients (4,040/4,352) according to intention-to-treat and in 98.3% of the patients (4,040/4,108) according to per-protocol analysis. The SVR12 rates were similar between the treatment regimens (97.2%-100%) and genotypes (95.6%-100%).
