Se llevará a cabo un análisis de las distintas estrategias llevadas a cabo por las principales marcas de lujo líderes en sus sectores, así como una comparativa en su rendimiento digital. Para ello, se utilizará la metodología de la encuesta con el objeto de analizar también la percepción de los consumidores., [EN] The purpose of this work is to carry out an analysis of the presence of luxury brands on social media, specifically on Instagram and TikTok, as these are mass social media platforms. The analysis will examine the strategies that luxury brands use to maintain their exclusivity and increase their desirability in a dynamic and constantly evolving information environment. The work will include an analysis of the different strategies employed by the leading luxury brands in their respective sectors, as well as a comparison of their digital performance. To achieve this, a survey methodology will be used to analyze the perceptions of consumers.

Lobar selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) is widely used to treat liver tumors inducing atrophy of the treated lobe and contralateral hypertrophy. The lack of animal model has precluded further investigations to improve this treatment. We developed an animal model of liver damage and atrophy–hypertrophy complex after SIRT. Three groups of 5–8 rabbits received transportal SIRT with Yttrium 90 resin microspheres of the cranial lobes with different activities (0.3, 0.6 and 1.2 GBq), corresponding to predicted absorbed radiation dose of 200, 400 and 800 Gy, respectively. Another group received non-loaded microspheres (sham group). Cranial and caudal lobes volumes were assessed using CT volumetry before, 15 and 30 days after SIRT. Liver biochemistry, histopathology and gene expression were evaluated. Four untreated rabbits were used as controls for gene expression studies. All animals receiving 1.2 GBq were euthanized due to clinical deterioration. Cranial SIRT with 0.6 GBq induced caudal lobe hypertrophy after 15 days (median increase 34% -ns-) but produced significant toxicity. Cranial SIRT with 0.3 GBq induced caudal lobe hypertrophy after 30 days (median increase 82%, p = 0.04). No volumetric changes were detected in sham group. Transient increase in serum transaminases was detected in all treated groups returning to normal values at 15 days. There was dose-dependent liver dysfunction with bilirubin elevation and albumin decrease. Histologically, 1.2 GBq group developed permanent severe liver damage with massive necrosis, 0.6 and 0.3 GBq groups developed moderate damage with inflammation and portal fibrosis at 15 days, partially recovering at 30 days. There was no difference in the expression of hepatocyte function and differentiation genes between 0.3 GBq and control groups. Cranial SIRT with 0.3 GBq of 90Y resin microspheres in rabbits is a reliable animal model to analyse the atrophy–hypertrophy complex and liver damage without toxicity. RESUMEN: En este trabajo se defiende la importancia de incluir la Inteligencia Emocional en la escuela. También, se propone el uso de las TIC para desarrollar una propuesta de Educación Emocional. Se comienza definiendo el concepto de emoción, abordando las emociones básicas y el concepto de Inteligencia Emocional, así como los beneficios que supone en el desarrollo del alumno. En segundo lugar, se hace referencia a las TIC y se defiende la importancia de éstas en la educación. Finalmente, se expone una propuesta de educación emocional con el objetivo de trabajar las emociones básicas. ABSTRACT: In this project it is argued the importance of including Emotional Intelligence in school. Also, the use of ICT is proposed to develop a Emotional Education proposal. This dissertation begins by definding the concept of emotion, including basic emotions and the concept of Emotional Intelligence, as well as the benefits it entails in student´s development. Secondly, reference is made to ICTs and it is defended the importance of these in education. Finally, it is presented a emotional education proposal in order to work basic emotions. A mouse model was developed for in vivo monitoring of infection and the effect of antimicrobial treatment against Staphylococcus aureus biofilms, using the [18F]fluoro-deoxyglucose–MicroPET ([18F]FDG-MicroPET) image technique. In the model, sealed Vialon catheters were briefly precolonized with S. aureus strains ATCC 15981 or V329, which differ in cytotoxic properties and biofilm matrix composition. After subcutaneous implantation of catheters in mice, the S. aureus strain differences found in bacterial counts and the inflammatory reaction triggered were detected by the regular bacteriological and histological procedures and also by [18F]FDG-MicroPET image signal intensity determinations in the infection area and regional lymph node. Moreover, [18F]FDG-MicroPET imaging allowed the monitoring of the rifampin treatment effect, identifying the periods of controlled infection and those of reactivated infection due to the appearance of bacteria naturally resistant to rifampin. Trabajo presentado en el 5th Congress of European Microbiologists, celebrado en Leipzig (Alemania) del 21 al 25 de julio de 2013., Staphylococcus aureus biofilms cause persistent chronic infections that require repeated antibiotic treatments at high doses. A major limitation to evaluate new bacterial biofilm treatments is the in vivo animal models available. Positron emission tomography (PET) using 18FluoroDeoxyGlucose (18FDG) has been widely used in cancer diagnosis, since the tumoral transformation usually increases the expression of glucose transporter and glycolytic enzymes. The aim of this work was to evaluate the feasibility of 18FDG-PET imaging for in vivo monitoring of bacterial biofilm infections in mice. For this, sealed catheters of VialonTM biomaterial were pre-colonized with Staphylococcus aureus ATCC15981, and subcutaneously implanted in mice (n=5). The in vivo infections were monitored at days 1, 7 and 14 post-infection, in a micro-PET scanner (Mosaic, Philips), 1 hour after intravenous injection of 18FDG. Images were quantitatively analysed by means of Standardized Uptake Value (SUV60) index. In parallel, the number of CFU/catheter and lesions induced by the infected catheter were determined. Similarly, the usefulness of this mouse model was assessed, after oral treatment with rifampin. SUV60 indexes were calculated in the catheter area and in the regional lymph nodes, associated to high number of both bacteria and PMN cells around the catheter. After antibiotic treatment, both SUV60 index and CFU/catheter decreased drastically, and lymph node images became negative. In conclusion, this study represents an advance for the in vivo monitoring of biofilm infections and follow-up evaluation of the efficacy of antibiotic therapies in living mice.
