Urban water system ecology has been severely damaged, urban waterlogging, water pollution, water resources shortage and other problems have become more serious, and it is urgent to repair and harness them. The concept of sponge city can effectively improve the state of urban water system. Therefore, this article aims to provide theoretical support for China's sponge city pollution water purification technology by analyzing the characteristics, hazards, and different sewage purification technologies of urban sewage.

Multi-access edge computing (MEC) has been recently considered in challenging environments lacking available terrestrial infrastructures by extending the computing resources to the air for further enhancing the computation capability of the new aerial user equipment (AUE). Additionally, wireless power transfer (WPT) is a promising solution to prolong the battery lifetime of energy-constrained wireless devices like AUEs. In this paper, we investigate the integration of laser-beamed WPT in the high-altitude platform (HAP) aided MEC systems for the HAP-connected AUEs. By discretizing the three-dimensional coverage space of the HAP, we present a multi-tier tile grid-based spatial structure to provide aerial locations for laser charging. With this setup, we identify a new privacy vulnerability caused by the openness during the air-to-air transmission of WPT signaling messages in the presence of a terrestrial adversary. A privacy-aware laser-powered aerial MEC framework is developed that addresses this vulnerability and enhances the location privacy of AUEs for laser WPT. Specifically, the interaction between the HAP as a defender and the adversary in their tile grid allocation as charging locations to AUEs is formulated as a Colonel Blotto game, which models the competition of the players for limited resources over multiple battlefields for a finite time horizon. Moreover, we derive the mixed-strategy Nash equilibria of the tile grid allocation game for both symmetric and asymmetric tile grids between the defender and the adversary. Simulations results show that the proposed framework significantly outperforms the design baselines with a given privacy protection level in terms of system-wide expected total utilities.

The purpose of this work was to determine the water-equivalent thickness of Superflab bolus material for narrow- and broad field-of-view (FOV) x-ray geometries at diagnostic x-ray energies.Transmission measurements were performed for incremental thicknesses of Superflab bolus material and water in narrow and broad FOV x-ray geometries. The transmission data was fit to a non-linear model for x-ray transmission - the Archer model. Water-equivalent thickness of Superflab was calculated based upon fitting parameters to transmission curves for 75, 95 and 115 kV x-ray tube voltages. Measured x-ray transmission factors for water and Superflab were used to determine the water equivalence of Superflab.For all x-ray tube voltages and geometries, the water equivalence of Superflab was greater than one, indicating that Superflab is more attenuating than water. This effect was stronger for broad FOV geometries. At 95 kV, 30 cm of Superflab corresponded to 32.0 cm of water in the narrow FOV geometry, and 34.3 cm of water in the broad FOV geometry. The Archer model fitting parameters and Superflab water equivalence are reported for all x-ray beam conditions explored in this work.Superflab bolus material is more attenuating than water at diagnostic x-ray energies. The Archer model and its respective fitting parameters reported in this work may be used to estimate the water-equivalent thickness of Superflab for diagnostic x-ray spectra. Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) is the most prevalent histotype of non-small cell lung cancer. Anoikis, an alternative form of programmed cell death, plays a pivotal role in cancer invasion and metastasis, preventing the detached cancer cells from readhering to other substrates for abnormal proliferation. The aim of this study was to conduct a comprehensive analyses of the prognostic implications of anoikis-related genes (ARGs) in LUAD.ARGs were selected from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database and Genecards dataset using differential expression analysis. The signature incorporating ARGs was identified using univariate Cox regression analysis and LASSO regression analysis. Furthermore, a nomogram containing the signature and clinical information was developed through univariate and multivariate Cox regression analysis. Kaplan-Meier survival analysis and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were applied to evaluate the predictive validity of these risk models. Finally, functional analysis of the selected ARGs in signature and analysis of immune landscape were also conducted.A 16-gene signature was integrated to stratify LUAD patients into different survival risk groups. The prognostic risk score generated from the signature and TNM stage were identified as independent prognostic factors and utilized to develop a nomogram. Both the signature and the nomogram showed satisfactory prediction performance in predicting overall survival (OS) of LUAD patients. The ARGs were enriched in several biological functions and signaling pathways. Finally, differences of immune landscape were investigated among the high- and low-risk groups stratified by the signature.This study revealed potential relationships between ARGs and prognosis of LUAD. The prognostic predictors identified in present study could be utilized as potential biomarkers for clinical applications.

Knee Osteoarthritis (KOA) is the most common type of knee joint injury and also a risk factor for multiple health consequences and is prevalent among older women. The updated clinical guidelines for KOA treatment by the American Rheumatism Association recommend Tai Chi exercise. However, a literature review outlined limitations in Tai Chi intervention implementations. This study aimed to address some of the gaps. This study selected thirty female patients to participate in Tai Chi exercises and undergo relevant tests. The subjects were randomly assigned to Tai Chi or education groups. Independent sample t-tests were conducted to compare the difference in health indicators between the two groups after the intervention. The difference-in-differences (DID) regression was performed to assess the difference in the health outcomes between the two groups at baseline and follow-up and the difference in the differences. After the completion of the intervention, the Tai Chi group reported significantly improved KOA symptoms, physical fitness, and health status indicators than the control group. Specifically, the group differences were significantly larger at the baseline than at the follow-up. Our findings provide compelling evidence of the effects of the innovative Tai Chi exercise prescription specifically designed for KOA patients. The empirical evidence on its effectiveness in alleviating KOA symptoms and improving the overall health of middle-aged and elderly women with KOA suggested that Tai Chi intervention exercise has huge prospects for integration in KOA rehabilitation therapy.

Based on a large number of drilling and laboratory test data in Weibei loess tableland area, the correlation of three conventional physical and mechanical indexes of loess in this area, such as void ratio, compression coefficient and collapsibility coefficient, was analyzed and studied. The results show that void ratio is positively correlated with compression coefficient and collapsibility coefficient, and the correlation between void ratio and collapsibility coefficient is higher. The correlation between compression coefficient and collapsibility coefficient is obvious when the compressibility of soil is small, but there is no obvious correlation between collapsibility coefficient and compression coefficient when the compression coefficient is large.

When medical metallic materials are implanted in the body and come into contact with the body fluid environment, proteins will be rapidly adsorbed on the surface and affect the corrosion process of the material. Currently, there is no uniform understanding of the effect of protein adsorption on the corrosion behavior of materials due to the limitations of the nature of metal materials, protein concentrations, and different media environments. The effect of various bovine serum albumin (BSA) concentrations in artificial plasma (AP) on the corrosion behavior of pure Zn during 14 days of immersion was investigated in this research. The corrosion rate of pure Zn was slowed down by the addition of BSA, and the decelerating effect of lower protein concentration on the corrosion rate of Zn was more significant in the initial stage of immersion. With prolonging the immersion time, the corrosion rate of pure Zn in different media slowed down and stabilized, and the corrosion rates of pure Zn showed a decreasing trend with an increase of BSA concentration. Furthermore, the Langmuir adsorption isotherm model was utilized to study the relationship between the BSA concentration and corrosion behavior of pure Zn and to analyze the role of proteins in the degradation mechanism of pure Zn. This work could be useful for further exploration of potential clinical applications of zinc alloys.

Based on the excellent physical properties and flexible molecular modifiability, modified silicone resins have received favorable attention in the field of microelectronics, and recently a number of modified silicone resins have appeared while few breakthroughs have been made in low dielectric constant (low-k) materials field due to the limitations of structure or the curing process. In this work, functional silicone resin with different BCB contents was prepared with two monomers. The resins showed low dielectric constant (k = 2.77 at 10 MHz) and thermal stability (T5% = 495.0 °C) after curing. Significant performance changes were observed with the increase in BCB structural units, and the functional silicone obtained does not require melting and dissolution during processing because of good fluidity at room temperature. Moreover, the mechanical properties of silicone resins can be also controlled by adjusting the BCB content. The obtained silicone resins could be potentially used in the field of electronic packaging materials.
