Retroreflective film is widely used in traffic signs. Compared with glass beaded retroreflective film, cube corner retroreflective film has higher efficiency, and it is also treated as diamond grade retroreflective materials. But for cube corner retroreflective film, the range of incident angle is very limited and there is strong anisotropic in the retroreflection coefficient. With the use of cant, the above problems may be solved or eased. In recent years, a method of computer aided design is started to use in the retroreflective film design to save development time and cost. But there is not a way told before to calculate the retroreflectance when the symmetry axis of cube corner element is canted. Committed to solve this problem, we carried out the research work based on the geometric shape in the laminae combination techniques. In this paper, a new simulator is introduced. In our simulator, the percent active area is calculated through the analytic geometry, and the primary light loss in the transmission process is calculated based on the basic theory of optics. The simulation results are also described in detail.
