Our project consists in the evaluation of the aplicability of a rehabilitation online program, called Voices. This program is dedicated to prosodic training in patients with schizophrenia to improve their recognition of basic and complex emotions, resulting, secondarily, in the simultaneous improvement of social cognition and social competencies. Our hypothesis is that participants in this prosodic rehabilitation program have better results in prosodic tests than the ones that participate in a contol group of active placebo treatment. We also want to measure this improvements one month after intervention.

Durant les darreres dècades, la ciència de materials ha viscut una època daurada, amb l'aparició dels nanomaterials i, en especial, a causa dels nanomaterials porosos. S'està realitzant molta tasca d'investigació i desenvolupament tant en mitjans porosos ordenats (zeolites i MOFs) com amorfs (ceràmiques, polímers i aerogels). El descobriment dels aerogels per part de S. Kistler el 19311 i el treball exhaustiu en MOFs d'O. Yaghi durant la dècada de 19902 han inspirat molts grups de recerca a centrar-se en aquests dos grups de materials. El grup de Fluids Supercrítics i Materials Funcionals (SFFM), en què s'ha dut a terme aquesta Tesi, té una llarga i sòlida trajectòria investigadora treballant amb materials porosos, incloent-hi els materials principals d'aquesta Tesi (aerogels i MOFs). Amb la particularitat de l'ús de CO2 supercrític (scCO2) tant a la síntesi com al processament d'aquests.3 Pel que fa als MOFs, la tecnologia supercrítica s'ha utilitzat al laboratori de SFFM per sintetitzar compostos ja coneguts (per exemple, ZIF-8),4 per a la preparació de nous polímers de coordinació basats en diferents bi- o tri-piridines,5,6 per al descobriment de nous bioMOF basats en curcumina,7-9 i, finalment, però no menys important, en el treball amb MOF flexibles basats en carborà en què el scCO2 va exercir el paper d'extractor de dissolvent.10 Pel que fa al tema dels aerogels, l'equip del SFFM ha adquirit una àmplia experiència en aerogels orgànics.11,12 Aquesta Tesi estén el treball referent a aerogels a la família de materials derivats del grafè, incloent-hi l'òxid de grafè (GO) i l'òxid de grafè reduït (rGO). El grafè, GO i rGO són materials relativament nous. Tot i així, durant les darreres dues dècades tots ells han estat investigats de forma ininterrompuda, principalment per corroborar la plètora d'impressionants propietats que coneixem o per descobrir-ne de noves. De fet, els experiments inicials de scCO2 realitzats amb dispersions de GO van revelar la metodologia per produir un fascinant material en forma d'aerogel, cosa que va generar una patent, que és la base d'aquest treball.13 En aquesta Tesi se sintetitzen tant aerogels com MOFs, ja siguin aïllats o en forma de compostos, caracteritzats i utilitzats en diferents aplicacions. La preparació de tots aquests materials té en comú la utilització de la tecnologia supercrítica. Els fluids supercrítics i els materials nanoporosos estan estretament relacionats, ja que les propietats d'aquests solvents, principalment la baixa viscositat, alta difusivitat i nul·la tensió superficial, són crucials per a l'assecat dels materials evitant el col·lapse dels porus. La Tesi comença amb una secció d'Introducció en què es descriuen els materials utilitzats i els mètodes de fabricació. En particular, la introducció il·lustra tots els temes que es tracten en aquest treball, que es desenvolupen més endavant a cada capítol. La secció Experimental descriu els equips utilitzats, les metodologies i les tècniques de caracterització. Tots els experiments realitzats es van fer seguint metodologies verdes basades en scCO2. Continuamente se realizan estudios de I+D tanto en medios porosos ordenados (zeolitas y MOFs) como amorfos (cerámicas, polímeros y aerogeles). El descubrimiento de los aerogeles por parte de S. Kistler en 19311 y el trabajo exhaustivo relativo a MOFs de O. Yaghi durante la década de 19902 han inspirado a muchos grupos de investigación a centrarse en estos dos tipos de materiales. El grupo de Fluidos Supercríticos y Materiales Funcionales (SFFM), en el que se ha llevado a cabo esta Tesis, tiene una larga y sólida trayectoria investigadora trabajando con materiales porosos, incluyendo los materiales principales de esta Tesis (aerogeles y MOFs). Con la particularidad del uso de CO2 supercrítico (scCO2) tanto en la síntesis como en el procesado de éstos.3 Con respecto a los MOFs, la tecnología supercrítica se ha utilizado en el laboratorio de SFFM para sintetizar compuestos ya conocidos (por ejemplo, ZIF-8),4 para la preparación de nuevos polímeros de coordinación basados en diferentes bi- o tri-piridinas,5,6 para el descubrimiento de nuevos bioMOF basados en curcumina,7-9 y, por último, pero no menos importante, en el trabajo con MOF flexibles basados en carborano en los que el scCO2 desempeñó el papel de extractor de disolvente.10 En cuanto al tema de los aerogeles, el equipo del SFFM ha adquirido una amplia experiencia en aerogeles orgánicos.11,12 Esta Tesis extiende el trabajo referente a aerogeles a la familia de materiales derivados del grafeno, incluyendo el óxido de grafeno (GO) y el óxido de grafeno reducido (rGO). El grafeno, GO y rGO son materiales relativamente nuevos. Aun así, durante las últimas dos décadas todos ellos han sido investigados de forma ininterrumpida, principalmente para corroborar la plétora de impresionantes propiedades que conocemos o para descubrir otras nuevas. De hecho, los experimentos iniciales de scCO2 realizados con dispersiones de GO revelaron la metodología para producir un fascinante material en forma de aerogel, lo que generó una patente, que es la base de este trabajo.13 En esta Tesis se sintetizan tanto aerogeles como MOFs, ya sean aislados o en forma de compuestos, caracterizados y utilizados en diferentes aplicaciones. La preparación de todos estos materiales tiene en común el uso de la tecnología supercrítica. Los fluidos supercríticos y los materiales nanoporosos están estrechamente relacionados, ya que las propiedades de estos solventes, principalmente su baja viscosidad, alta difusividad y nula tensión superficial, son cruciales para el secado de los materiales evitando el colapso de los poros. La Tesis comienza con una sección de Introducción en la que se describen los materiales utilizados y los métodos de fabricación. En particular, la introducción ilustra todos los temas que se tratan en este trabajo, que se desarrollan más adelante en cada capítulo. La sección Experimental describe los equipos utilizados, metodologías y técnicas de caracterización. Todos los experimentos realizados se realizaron siguiendo metodologías verdes basadas en scCO2. For the past few decades, materials science has been living in a golden age, with the emergence of nanomaterials and, especially, because of porous nanomaterials. There is plenty of research being carried out on both ordered (zeolites and MOFs) and disordered (ceramics, polymers and aerogels) porous media. The discovery of aerogels by S. Kistler on 19311 and the exhaustive work on MOFs by O. Yaghi during the 1990's2 have inspired many research groups to focus on these two groups of materials. The Supercritical Fluids and Functional Materials (SFFM) group, in which this Thesis has been carried out, has a long solid research history of working with both porous materials, including the main motifs of this Thesis (aerogels and MOFs), with the particularity of being synthetized and/or processed in supercritical CO2 (scCO2).3 On the topic of MOFs, the supercritical technology has been used in the SFFM laboratory to synthetize compounds already known (e.g., ZIF-8),4 for the preparation of new coordination polymers based on different bi- or tri- pyridines,5,6 for the discovery of new curcumin-based bioMOFs,7 9 and, last but not least, in the work with flexible carborane-based MOFs in which the scCO2 played the role of solvent extractor.10 Concerning the aerogels subject, the SFFM team has gained extensive experience in organic aerogels.11,12 This Thesis extends the work on aerogels to the family of graphene derived materials, including graphene oxide (GO) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO). Graphene, GO and rGO are relatively new materials. Even so, all of them have been on a non-stop research during the last couple of decades, mostly to corroborate the plethora of their impressive properties or to discover new ones. Actually, scCO2 initial experiments performed with GO dispersions revealed the methodology to produce a fascinating aerogel material, yielding an early patent, which is the basis of this work.13 In this Thesis both aerogels and MOFs are synthesized, either pristine or as a composite, characterized and used in different applications. The preparation of these materials all have in common the use of scupercritical technology. Supercritical fluids and nanoporous materials are closely related, as the properties of these solvents, mainly their gas-like viscosity, high diffusivity and null surface tension, are crucial for drying materials avoiding pore collapse.14 The Thesis starts with an Introduction section in which the used materials and the fabrication methods are described. Actually, the introduction illustrates all the topics that are discussed in this work, which are further elaborated later in the following chapters. The Experimental section describes the used equipment, methodologies and characterization techniques. All of the performed experiments were carried out following green methodologies based on scCO2.

Since 2006 the American College of Sport Medicine (ACSM) has annually published the Worldwide Survey of Fitness Trends and through them fitness professionals around the world are asked about their prediction of the most prominent trends in the fitness market for the following year. The results of fitness trends surveys are intended to help this industry make important business decisions for its growth and future development. Spain was the first country in the world to replicate the methodology of ACSM's Worldwide Survey, and now more and more regions are doing the same. There have been five editions of the Spanish survey allowing for the first evolutionary portrayal of fitness trends in this regional market that could be also compared and contrasted to the corresponding results of worldwide surveys. Results of these comparisons highlight differences of relevance and evolution over time of the main fitness trends between Spanish and Worldwide settings. A progressive divergence in both surveys is observed over time. Some of the main similarities and differences of regional and worldwide trends are identified, and their potential causes are discussed. As a conclusion, a comparison of both surveys underlines the interest to replicate at regional levels the ACSM Worldwide Fitness Trends Surveys to get a better understanding that links the knowledge about worldwide trends with specificities found in more specific geographic regions., Desde 2006, el Colegio Americano de Medicina del Deporte (ACSM) publica anualmente la Encuesta mundial de tendencias de fitness y, a través de ella, se pregunta a los profesionales del fitness de todo el mundo sobre su predicción acerca de las tendencias más destacadas en el mercado del fitness para el año siguiente. Los resultados de estas encuestas están destinados a ayudar a la industria del fitness a tomar decisiones comerciales importantes para su crecimiento y desarrollo futuro. España fue el primer país del mundo en replicar la metodología de la Encuesta Mundial de ACSM, y ahora cada vez más países y regiones están haciendo lo mismo. Se han realizado cinco ediciones de la encuesta española, que permiten la primera descripción evolutiva de las tendencias de fitness en este mercado regional, pudiendo también compararse y contrastarse con los resultados correspondientes de las encuestas mundiales. Los resultados de estas comparaciones destacan las diferencias en cuanto a relevancia y evolución en el tiempo de las principales tendencias de fitness entre los entornos español y mundial, observándose una divergencia progresiva en ambas encuestas a lo largo del tiempo. Durante el manuscrito se identifican las principales similitudes y diferencias de las tendencias regionales y mundiales, y se discuten sus posibles causas. Como conclusión, la comparación de ambas encuestas subraya el interés de replicar a nivel regional la Encuesta Mundial de Tendencias de Fitness del ACSM para obtener una mejor comprensión que vincule el conocimiento sobre las tendencias mundiales con las especificidades encontradas en regiones geográficas más específicas

Eating disorders (ED) are characterized by alterations in eating behavior. The genetic factors shared between ED diagnoses have been underexplored. The present study aimed to perform a genome-wide association study on individuals with disordered eating behaviors in the Mexican population, blood methylation quantitative trait loci (blood-meQTL) analysis, and in silico function prediction by different algorithms. The analysis included a total of 1803 individuals. Genome-wide association study and blood-meQTL analysis were performed by logistic and linear regression. In silico functional variant prediction, phenome-wide, and transcriptome-wide association studies by different algorithms were analyzed. In the genome-wide association study, we identified 44 single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) associated at a nominal value and 7 blood-meQTL at a genome-wide umbral. The SNPs were enriched in genome-wide associations of the metabolic and immunologic domains. In the in silico analysis, the SNP rs10419198 located on an enhancer mark could change the expression of PRR12 on blood, adipocytes, and brain areas that regulate food intake. The present study supports the previous associations of genetic variation in the metabolic domain with ED.

REMARKS Pseudococcus luciae n. sp. is similar to Pseudococcus dendrobiorum Williams, 1985 and Pseudococcus lycopodii Beardsley, 1959 because all three species have only a few multilocular disc pores, restricted to the last three abdominal segments (P. luciae n. sp., P. dendrobiorum and P. lycopodii); only a few dorsal oral rim tubular ducts on the dorsum (P. luciae n. sp., 0 in P. dendrobiorum and 4-12 in P. lycopodii) and venter (P. luciae n. sp., P. dendrobiorum and 4-12 in P. lycopodii, absent from SabdIV and posterior segments). Pseudococcus luciae n. sp. differs from P.dendrobiorum (characters in parenthesis) by having a shorter labium, less than 130 ��m long (150-160 ��m long), a smaller circulus, less than 60 ��m of transverse diameter (100-130 ��m in transverse diameter), a longer hind tibia + tarsus, around 310-340 ��m long (160-200 ��m long), and hind tibia + tarsus length greater than hind trochanter +femur length (hind tibia + tarsus much shorter than hind trochanter + femur). Pseudococcus luciae n. sp. differs from P. lycopodii (characters in parenthesis) by having 17 cerarii (14-16 cerarii), more than 50 collar tubular ducts (10-20) and a smaller circulus (80 ��m in transverse diameter) [character data on P. dendrobiorum taken from Williams (1985) and on P. lycopodii from Beardsley (1959)]. The taxonomic character ���transverse diameter of circulus��� is considered to be useful for separating species groups (Gimpel & Miller 1996). Pseudococcus luciae n. sp. belongs to the ���small-circulus��� (transverse diameter less than 80 ��m) group, which includes P. apomicrocirculus Gimpel & Miller, 1996, P. dolichomelos Gimpel & Miller, 1996, P. debilis Granara de Willink, 2018, P. dysmicus Gimpel & Miller, 1996, P. eriocerei Williams, 1973, P. microcirculus McKenzie, P. neomicrocirculus Gimpel & Miller, 1996, P. sorghiellus (Forbes, 1885), and P. spanocera. Among these species, P.luciae n. sp. is closest to P.neomicrocirculus and P.spanocera. In addition to having a small circulus, these species have only a few oral rim tubular ducts. Newsteadia andreae n. sp. (Figs 1; 2) urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act: 4EE88832-00E1-4555-9160-4E57AC43F502 TYPE MATERIAL. — Holotype. Colombia • adult ♀ (2 specimens on 1 slide, holotype situated on the left side and indicated as “Holo” on additional label); Antioquia, Barbosa, Vereda Platanito, Farm Solenia; 06°58’34.36”N, 75°23’41.32”W; 1741 m a.s.l.; 14.IX.2015; J. Agudelo leg.; ex roots Coffea arabica (Rubiaceae) – coffee, manual; UNAB 4630. Paratypes. Colombia • 2 adult ♀; same data as holotype; 2 slides, 1 containing a single paratype, and the other with 1 paratype (marked as “Para”) sharing a slide with the holotype; UNAB. ETYMOLOGY. — The specific epithet “ andreae ” is assigned in honor of Dr Andrea Ramos-Portilla, mentor and friend of the author. DIAGNOSIS. — This species has two spines on each trochanter; antennal flagellate setae with rounded apices, and three fleshy setae on the distal part of the apical segment; SantII shorter than SantI; five pairs of abdominal spiracles; and lacks groups of quadrilocular pores posterior to the vulva, and tubular ducts. DESCRIPTION Pre-mounting specimens Appearance in situ: not observed. Specimens preserved in 75% ethanol with milky appearence; color unchanged in 10% potassium hydroxide. Post-mounting specimens Slide-mounted adult female (n = 3): body oval to round (Figs 1; 2A), 1.9 ± 0.3 [1.6] (1.5-2.1) mm long and 1.5 ± 0.2 [1.3] (1.3-1.7) mm wide. Dorsum Wax plates (Fig. 1A). Well developed, composed of: spines, each 21.2 ± 2.7 (12-28) µm long and apically rounded (Fig. 1B); flagellate setae, each 38.4 ± 9.6 (18-58) µm long (Fig. 1C), the longest ones located at the corners of plates; quadrilocular pores of type I, each approximately 5 µm in diameter (Fig.1D); a few simple pores, each about 3 µm in diameter (Fig. 1E). Wax plates. Structure like that of dorsal plates, with spines each 16.3 ± 2.4 (11-22) µm long and apically rounded, flagellate setae each 40.6 ± 9.6 (20-60) µm long, and quadrilocular pores of similar diameter to those on dorsum; plates in marginal region well developed, similar to those on dorsum; plates in central region less conspicuous, composed of flagellate setae and few spines; head with three wax plates, thorax with 19, wax plates absent from abdomen. Ovisac band (Fig. 1N) surrounding the second abdominal segment, external edge composed of a transverse cluster of quadrilocular pores of type II, like those on dorsum (Fig. 1F), each 4-5 µm in diameter, accompanied by simple pores and spicules; inner edge of band formed of clustered spines, each 21.1 ± 4.4 (14-22) µm long and apically rounded, most posterior row of spines longest, truncate; flagellate setae forming mesial cluster in anterior section of band, each seta 43.8 ± 6.9 (32-55) µm long; other setae scattered through the band; quadrilocular pores of type I and simple pores with diameter similar to those on dorsum, scattered in the cluster of spines; area enclosed by ovisac band with six transverse clusters of quadrilocular pores of type II; scattered simple pores and spicules clustered with flagellate setae, each seta 33.2 ± 4.7 (26-42) µm long; inter-cluster areas bare. Tubular ducts. Absent. Spicules. Present on mesothorax and posterior body segments. REMARKS Based on data from Kozár (2004): Newsteadia andreae n. sp. is morphologically similar to several species. The closest species is N. vietnamensis Kozár & Konczné Benedicty, 1999, which is similar in most characters. The main differences are: antenna length, up to 808 µm in N. andreae n. sp. (949 µm long in N. vietnamensis), and tubular ducts being absent from both surfaces in N. andreae n. sp. (present on both surfaces in N. vietnamensis). Their geographical distributions and host records are different also: N. andreae n. sp. is recorded from the Neotropical Region (Colombia) on roots of C offea arabica, whereas N. vietnamensis is known only from the Oriental Region (Vietnam) and has no host records. Newsteadia andreae n. sp. also resembles Newsteadia morrisoni Kozár & Konczné Benedicty, 2001 but differs in having (N. morrisoni characters in parentheses): no groups of quadrilocular pores posterior to the vulva (quadrilocular pores posterior to vulva in groups); a ratio of SantIII / SantII of 3.7 (2.4); two spine-like setae on the trochanter (trochanter without spine-like setae), and each thoracic spiracle peritreme with quadrilocular pores inside (without quadrilocular pores in the peritremes). Another species similar to N. andreae n. sp. is N. monikae Kozár & Konczné Benedicty, 2000, which also has three antennal segments, the second antennal segment longer that first one, distal fleshy setae on the antenna, flagellate setae with rounded apices on all antennal segments, and five pairs of abdominal spiracles. Newsteadia andreae n. sp. differs from N. monikae (characteristics given in parenthesis) by: spine-like setae absent from the coxa (present) and present on the trochanter (absent); apical antennal segment with fleshy longer setae and subapical setae, and apical shorter setae present (with flagellate longer setae and subapical setae, without apical shorter setae); tubular ducts absent from wax plates (present); and peritreme of each thoracic spiracle with 15-23 quadrilocular pores (pores absent). In addition, N. andreae n. sp. is similar to N. milleri Kozár & Konczné Benedicty, 2000 in having antenna with three antennal segments, spine-like setae on the bases of trochanter and femur, an ovisac band without gaps, and five pairs of abdominal spiracles. DIAGNOSIS. — Circulus absent; cerarii numbering 15-17 pairs; oral rim tubular ducts few, numbering 4-9 on dorsum and 3 or 4 on venter; and oral collar tubular ducts restricted to venter of SabdIII-VII. REMARKS There is a debate about the generic character state that defines Paraputo and Formicocccus. As Paraputo nasai n. sp. has six setae in the anal ring and no anal bar, there is no conflict to put it into the Paraputo genus. Paraputo nasai n. sp. comes closest to Paraputo colombiensis (Williams & Granara de Willink, 1992), another species with translucent pores on the hind femur and tibia and with a circulus present. La dispersión de rayos X es un fenómeno muy importante a tener en cuenta en la física actual. Conociendo cómo se comporta la materia cuando interacciona con radiación incidente nos permite obtener múltiples conocimientos de la estructura y comportamiento de los átomos que la componen. La capacidad de dispersar radiación por un átomo es lo que se denomina factor atómico de dispersión. En este estudio nos centraremos en el factor atómico de dispersión elástica de rayos X. Existen diversos métodos para calcularlo, muchos de ellos necesitan de ajustes donde el número de parámetros es muy elevado. Un ejemplo es el ajuste de Doyle y Turner el cual establece los factores atómicos de dispersión de átomos con un ajuste de 9 parámetros. En nuestro trabajo se plantea un modelo de esfera dura donde la carga se encuentra en dos zonas claramente diferenciadas, en el origen y a una distancia del origen, zona que denominaremos corteza. A partir de esta suposición vamos a comparar nuestro ajuste con el ajuste de Doyle y Turner. De esta forma obtenemos los parámetros de ajuste para el factor atómico de dispersión según nuestro modelo con solo 2 parámetros de ajuste independientes. El objetivo final de este trabajo es, una vez obtenidos los parámetros de ajuste, relacionarlos con valores tabulados de átomos como pueden ser el número atómico, el radio iónico o la energía de ionización para estimar los valores del factor atómico de dispersión de rayos X. Acquisition of local and global biodiversity knowledge demands immediate and long-term efforts, both tutoring new generations of taxonomists and establishing, maintaining and improving research collections. Through biodiversity studies, the entomological museum “Universidad Nacional Agronomía Bogotá” (Bogotá, Colombia) has been developed and has built up a substantial collection of scale insects (Hemiptera: Coccomorpha), with 7,052 slide-mounted specimens and close to 800 alcohol-preserved samples representing 115 species belonging to 59 genera and nine families. This insect group is exclusively phytophagous, and many species are pests on economically important crops in Colombia. Curation of scale insect specimens includes slide mounting, identification, cataloging and databasing. Ecological and geospatial analyses of field data have identified insect-host interactions, and areas of the country where new field collections should be made. Host-insect interaction analysis has shown that coffee is the host-plant with the largest number of associated scales, Rhizoecus cacticans (Hambleton, 1946) and Rh. colombiensis Ramos Caballero, 2016 are the scale species with the largest host-plant range; and Geococcus coffeae Green, 1933 and Puto barberi (Cockerell, 1895) are the commonest scale species. Altitudinal and geographic distribution analysis have shown that sampling efforts have been concentrated in the central region, while the northern and southeastern regions of Colombia have been poorly collected. These ana-lyses provide a guideline for future studies, such as which zones should be sampled and which host-plant species have information gaps in their documented distributions and scale insect-host interactions. The museum’s large number of spe-cimens, species diversity representation and rich associated biological data indicate that the scale insect collection of the “Universidad Nacional Agronomía Bogotá” entomological museum is the most important in Colombia.

Resumen Actualmente los insectos escama hipogeos (Hemiptera: Coccomorpha) son el segundo artrópodo plaga más importante de la caficultura colombiana. Para desarrollar planes de manejo integrado de este problema fitosanitario se hace necesario reconocer las especies que están asociadas al cultivo. En esta investigación se analizaron 768 especímenes de 85 muestras recolectadas en raíces de café en Norte de Santander y Valle del Cauca. Se identificaron 10 géneros reunidos en cuatro familias. Puto barberi, Toumeyella coffeae y Dysmicoccus varius fueron las especies más recurrentes. Se registra a Dysmicoccus mackenziei, Dysmicoccus radicis y Mixorthezia minima por primera vez para Colombia y a Coffea arabica como nuevo hospedante de Phenacoccus solani y se describe una nueva especie del género Pseudorhizoecus. Abstract Currently, the hypogeal scale insects (Hemiptera: Coccomorpha) are the second most important problem pest arthropods for Colombian coffee crops. In order to develop integrated pest management programs, it is necessary to identify the species associated with this crop. In this study, 768 specimens from 85 samples collected from coffee roots in Norte de Santander and Valle del Cauca were analyzed. Ten genera belonging to four families were identified. Puto barberi, Toumeyella coffeae and Dysmicoccus varius were the most recurrent species. Dysmicoccus mackenziei, Dysmicoccus radicis and Mixorthezia minima are recorded for first time in Colombia. Coffea arabica is reported to be a new host for Phenacoccus solani and a new species of the genus Pseudorhizoecus is described.

El presente TFE trata del diseño de un sistema de captura y posterior análisis de los datos procedentes del sensor VLP-16, de la empresa Velodyne Inc. Para la realización de este TFE se cuenta con, además del sensor VLP-16, una placa Odroid C1. Los datos procedentes del sensor VLP-16 serán enviados mediante el protocolo de transmisión UDP. Por ello, en primer lugar, será necesario la realización del programa de captura e interpretación de los datos recibidos. Una vez interpretados los datos, se realizará mediante la librería “PCL” (Point Cloud Library), la interpretación, visualización y reconstrucción de las nubes de puntos obtenidas. El objetivo del proyecto consiste en desarrollar una aplicación en C++ que permita la captura masiva de datos de un sistema LIDAR de Velodyne. Para ello, el alumno tendrá que instalar y configurar Linux en una placa Odroid y diseñar un programa que capture los más de 1 millón de datos por segundo que envía el laser. Etymology. The species is named in honor of the Colombian native tribe from the Type locality, the Koreguajae (Marin 2013), a noun in apposition. Tillancoccus koreguajae is most similar to Tillancoccus tillandsiae in having the same type of dorsal setae and in lacking dorsal tubercles and dorsal setae with associated pores (present in T. mexicanus); however, the two species differ in the number of rows of setae on the dorsum, number of antennal segments, and the number of loculi in the spiracular pores. Tillancoccus tillandsiae differs from the other two species in the presence of very short and slender pointed setae, which have not been reported in either T. tillandsiae or T. mexicanus . Differences between Tillancoccus koreguajae from the other two known species in the genus (i.e., T. mexicanus and T. tillandsiae) are summarized in Table 1. Saccharicoccus sacchari (Cockerell, 1895) Hosts. Oligophagous, only known from Poaceae, on 11 plant species in 8 genera (Williams & Granara de Willink 1992, Ben-Dov 1994, Garcia et al. 2016). Distribution. Cosmopolitan. In Colombia, it has been recorded in the departments of Antioquia, Caldas, Cauca, Nari��o, Norte de Santander, Risaralda, Santander, Tolima and Valle del Cauca (Kondo 2001, Kondo et al. 2008). Here we report S. sacchari for the first time from the department of Caquet��. Diagnostic characters. Circulus large, commonly described either as ���hour-glass��� shaped or ���dumb-bell��� shaped; with long setae on each margin of the fifth and posterior abdominal segments; minute flat or duct-like pores present on integument surrounding each hind coxa (Williams & Granara de Willink 1992) Economic importance and control. Saccharicoccus sacchari is a common pest of sugarcane in Hawaii (Beardsley 1960; 1962). It has been considered as a possible vector of rice diseases in Cuba and India (Uichanco & Villanueva 1932). Serenaspis minima (Maskell, 1884) Despite this species having been recorded on sugarcane from Colombia by Posada (1989) and Gallego & V��lez (1992), there are good reasons to believe these records were misidentifications. As far as we know, S. minima is present only in the Australasian region (Australia, New Zealand), and there are no records from the New World. In order to corroborate this record from Colombia, a careful search of the voucher specimens was carried out in four Colombian entomological museums, i.e., the Museo de Entomolog��a, Corporaci��n Colombiana de Investigaci��n Agropecuaria (Corpoica), Centro de Investigaci��n Palmira, Valle del Cauca (MECP); the Francisco Lu��s Gallego Entomology Museum, Medell��n, Antioquia (MEFLG); the entomology collection at the Universidad Nacional, Palmira campus, Valle del Cauca (CEUNP); and the ���Luis Mar��a Murillo��� entomology collection held at Corpoica, Tibaitat�� (CTNI). Specimens studied by Posada should be deposited at CTNI; those studied by Gallego & V��lez (1992) are held at MEFLG. However, no voucher specimens of S. minima were found in any of these depositories. Furthermore, Gallego & V��lez (1992) referred to Pinnaspis minor by the common name: "piojo blanco del algodonero", but this name was assigned by Figueroa (1952) to Pinnaspis temporaria Ferris (now Pinnaspis strachani (Cooley)) collected on cotton from Valle del Cauca. Figueroa (1952) treated Chionaspis minor, Hemichionaspis minor and Pinnaspis minor as junior synomyms of P. strachani. Pinnaspis strachani is a highly polyphagous species and has a worldwide distribution, including many countries in the New World and is here reported feeding on S. officinarum for the first time. Pseudococcus calceolariae (Maskell, 1879) This species was recorded in Colombia by Kondo et al. (2008) based on previous information, occurring on a native fig tree known as ���caucho sabanero���, Ficus americanus (Moraceae), in the city of Bogot��. Although Ps. calceolariae is a polyphagous species (Ben-Dov 1994, McKenzie 1967, Kondo et al. 2008), there are no reports of it feeding on other hosts in Colombia (Kondo et al. 2008). Although Figueroa (1977) recorded Ps. calceolariae on the roots of sugarcane in the department of Valle del Cauca, Colombia, there are no voucher specimens in any of the entomological depositories listed above. Dysmicoccus boninsis (Kuwana, 1909) Hosts. Polyphagous, known to feed on 39 species belonging to ten plant families (Garc��a Morales et al. 2016). In Colombia, D. boninsis has been previously recorded feeding on stems of sugarcane. In this study, this species was found for the first time feeding on the roots of sugarcane. Diagnosis. Dorsum: numerous oral collar tubular ducts present; with only 8 or 9 pairs of cerarii, each containing 2 enlarged setae. Venter: multilocular disc pores present on the fifth and posterior abdominal segments; translucent pores present on hind coxa and a few on the hind tibia; circulus normally notched at each side and divided by an intersegmental line, but sometimes small and oval (Williams & Granara de Willink 1992). Distribution. Cosmopolitan. In Colombia, it has been previously recorded from the departments of Antioquia, Caldas, Cauca, Nari��o, Norte de Santander, Quind��o, Santander, Tolima and Valle del Cauca (Kondo et al. 2008). Here it is recorded for the first time from the department of Caquet��. Economic importance and control. The gray sugarcane mealybug has been recorded from a wide range of grasses, as well as host plants from other families. On sugarcane, this species has been generally recorded as a minor pest but, when attended by ants, it may kill young shoots (Bartlett 1978). Kondo et al. (2008) recorded eight ant species associated with D. boninsis in Colombia: Brachymyrmex sp., Crematogaster sp., Ectatoma ruidum Roger, Linepithema sp., Neilanderia sp., Solenopsis sp., Pheidole sp. and Wasmania auropunctata Roger. Dysmicoccus boninsis is not considered a pest of sugarcane in Colombia (Lastra & G��mez 2000, Bustillo 2013). Material studied. Tillancoccus koreguajae Caballero & Ramos, sp. nov. Material studied. Holotype: adult female. Colombia: Caquetá, Florencia, Vda. San Luis, 388 m a.s.l., 01°41′01″N, 75°37′42″W, 11.x.2013, Coll. A. Caballero, ex leaves of sugarcane, S. officinarum, associated with Pheidole sp. (Hymenoptera: Formicidae), UNAB voucher N° 836. Paratypes: collection data same data as holotype, 1 adult female + 2 third-instar female nymphs. Only slide mounted specimens are available. Males not observed. Description of adult female (Fig. 1) Note: data in brackets refer to the paratype female. Mounted material. Body broadly oval, 2.1 (3.9) mm long and 1.2 (2.6) mm wide. Stigmatic clefts shallow, distinct. Anal cleft about 1/5 body length. Dorsum. Derm membranous, except for a slightly sclerotized area around anal plates. Anal ring with 8 setae and two rows of wax pores. Anal plates (anpl) together subquadrate; each anal plate 138 (149) µm long, 86 (86) µm wide, anterolateral-margin 99 (104–106) µm long, posterolateral margin 114 (123–124) µm long, with 4 dorsal setae located on posterior end of each plate. Ducts: tubular ducts absent. Dorsal microducts (dmic) each 1.5 µm wide, evenly scattered throughout. Pores: Dorsal simple pores (dsp) each 1–2 µm wide, evenly scattered. Preopercular pores (pop) arranged in two rows on mid-dorsum anterior to anal plates, extending anteriorly up to middle of mesothorax, numbering 132 (109); each row 2–3 pores wide, each pore 6–8 µm wide. Setae: two types: a) sharply spinose setae (sss), large, each 23–36 µm long, with a narrow and well-sclerotized basal socket, arranged in about 25 radial rows as follows: seven radial rows present anteriorly between anterior stigmatic clefts on head; two to four (often not well-defined) radial rows between each anterior and posterior stigmatic cleft, and 12 radial rows present posteriorly between posterior stigmatic cleft and body apex; b) small pointed setae (dps), very short, slender, straight, 3–5 µm long, scattered. Dorsal tubercles and pocket-like sclerotizations absent. Venter. Derm entirely membranous. Eyes present on margin, each about 24 (27) µm in diameter. Antennae slender, filiform, eight segmented, 335 (391) µm long, length of each segment as follows: I: 34 (37) µm, with 2 flagellate setae; II: 48 (59) µm, with 2 flagellate setae and one campaniform sensillium; III: 44 (51) µm, without setae; IV: 45 (53) µm, without setae; V: 52 (73) µm, with 3 flagellate setae; VI: 33 (43) µm, with 1 fleshy seta; VII: 31 (29) µm, with 1 fleshy seta and VIII: 45 (44) µm, with 4 fleshy setae, 4 stiff setae and 4 flagellate setae. Legs well developed; hind leg measurements as follows: coxa 97 (116) µm long, 94 (110) µm wide; trochanter 83 (96) µm long, 46 (57) µm wide; tibia 169 (212) µm long, 30 (30) µm wide; tarsus 108 (137) µm long, 26 (32) µm wide; claw 29 (30) µm long; claw denticle absent, claw digitules each about 28 (28) µm long, knobbed; tarsal digitules each about 55 (56) µm long, knobbed. Spiracles well developed, anterior spiracles each 46 (57) µm wide, posterior spiracles each 54 (61) µm wide. Tubular ducts absent. Ventral microducts (vmic) about 3 µm wide, evenly scattered throughout. Pores: Perivulvar pores (pvp), each 5–7 µm wide, with 5–7 loculi (mostly 7), present only around vulvar region. Spiracular pores (spp) each 4–5 µm wide, with 5 loculi, present in a narrow band 2–3 pores wide, extending laterally from each spiracle to body margin, numbering 40–50 pores on each furrow. Setae: i) interantennal setae (is): two pairs, one pair of long flagellate setae, each 74 (56) µm long, and one pair of shorter hair-like setae, each 7 (7) µm long; ii) prevulvar setae (pvs) hair-like, present on last three abdominal segments: one pair on mid region of segment V, each 13 (18) µm long, one pair on mid region of segment VI, each 15 (19) µm long, and one pair on mid region of segment VII, each 59 (89) µm long; iii); and a iv) short type of setae herein termed as ventral pointed setae (vps): very short, slender, straight, about 3–5 µm long, evenly scattered. Dermal spinules present on medial and submedial areas of body, between base of antennae and the anal cleft. Margin. Setae of two types: i) flagellate setae (mfs), slightly bent, each 28–46 (25–50) µm long, arranged in a single row, with 23 (24) setae anteriorly between the eyes, 11 (10) between each eye and anterior stigmatic setae on each side, 15 (11) between anterior and posterior stigmatic spines on each side, 47–49 (42–51) setae between each posterior stigmatic setae and body apex on each side; intermixed with ii) pointed setae (mps), very short, slender, straight, about 3–5 µm long, similar to ventral pointed setae. Stigmatic cleft well developed, with 3 stigmatic spines per stigmatic area; stigmatic spines (stgs) each sharply spinose, median stigmatic spine longest, 63–69 (80) µm long (one seta bifurcated on anterior stigmatic cleft on right side in paratype), lateral stigmatic spines 27–46 (52– 58) µm long. Etymology. The species is named in honor of the Colombian native tribe from the Type locality, the Koreguajae (Marin 2013), a noun in apposition. Tillancoccus koreguajae is most similar to Tillancoccus tillandsiae in having the same type of dorsal setae and in lacking dorsal tubercles and dorsal setae with associated pores (present in T. mexicanus); however, the two species differ in the number of rows of setae on the dorsum, number of antennal segments, and the number of loculi in the spiracular pores. Tillancoccus tillandsiae differs from the other two species in the presence of very short and slender pointed setae, which have not been reported in either T. tillandsiae or T. mexicanus . Differences between Tillancoccus koreguajae from the other two known species in the genus (i.e., T. mexicanus and T. tillandsiae) are summarized in Table 1. Dysmicoccus brevipes (Cockerell, 1893) Hosts. Polyphagous, known to feed on 191 species belonging to 63 plant families (Garc��a Morales et al. 2016). Diagnosis. Adult female without tubular ducts on dorsum; translucent pores present on hind femur and tibia; dorsal setae on segments VII and VIII conspicuously longer than remaining dorsal setae (Williams & Granara de Willink 1992, Granara de Willink 2009). Distribution. Cosmopolitan (Garc��a Morales et al. 2016). The distribution of this species in Colombia is unknown but it is probably widespread throughout the country. Economic importance and control. In Hawaii, it occurs infrequently on sugarcane and is of minor economic importance (Beardsley 1960). In Colombia, it is not considered a pest of sugarcane (Lastra & G��mez 2000, Bustillo 2013). Remarks. Since the record of Williams & Granara de Willink (1992), D. brevipes has not been recorded on sugarcane in Colombia. Although the species is common in Colombia, on many hosts including pineapple (Kondo 2001), orange, plantain, cacao, coffee, Cecropia sp. (Kondo et al. 2008), there are no specimens collected from sugarcane in any of the Colombian Museums studied. Pulvinaria elongata Newstead, 1917 Hosts. Polyphagous, reported from nine plant species belonging to three families (Garc��a Morales et al. 2016). Diagnosis. On slide: adult female extremely elongate or elliptical; marginal setae with sharply or bluntly pointed apices; submarginal area of head and thorax with numerous, widespread ventral tubular ducts; multilocular pores present on thorax between mesothoracic and metathoracic coxa; ventral tubular ducts absent medially from thorax (Newstead 1917, Mamet 1958, Tanaka & Kondo 2015). Distribution. Afrotropical, Australasian, Nearctic, Neotropical and Palaearctic regions. In Colombia, P. elongata was recorded in the departments of Risaralda and Valle del Cauca (Gir��n et al. 2005). Economic importance. Pulvinaria elongata has been reported as a minor pest of sugarcane (Bustillo 2013) except when in a mutualistic association with Nylanderia fulva (Mayr) (Hymenoptera: Formicidae), when it causes more serious damage (G��mez & Lastra 1995). Duplachionaspis divergens (Green, 1899) Hosts. Oligophagous on hosts belonging to 19 genera in Poaceae (Garc��a Morales et al. 2016; Lastra & G��mez 1997). Diagnosis. Adult female cover flat, white, broadly oyster-shell shaped; exuviae marginal, yellow to brown. Slide-mounted characters of adult female: with 2 pairs of well-developed lobes; median lobes divergent, not yoked basally, with a pair of distinct marginal setae between them. Gland spine formula: 2-2-2(3). Macroducts on pygidium subequal in size, without ducts between medial lobes; submedial ducts present on segments 3 to 6. Dorsal microducts present on submedial and submarginal areas of segments 1 to 3. Perivulvar pores present in 5 groups, with approximately 45 pores on each side of body. Anterior spiracles each with 10���12 pores, posterior spiracles with 5���10 pores (Yu & Suh 2013). Distribution. Australasian, Nearctic, Neotropical, Oriental and Palaearctic regions (Garc��a Morales et al. 2016). In Colombia, this species was recorded for the first time in the department of Valle del Cauca by Lastra & G��mez (1997). We record it from Risaralda and Meta departments. Economic importance. Duplachionaspis divergens has been reported as a minor pest of sugarcane in India and Colombia (Lastra & G��mez 1997). It is a commonly encountered, grass-infesting armored scale in Florida, USA (Evans & Hodges 2007). In Colombia, although it was recorded in the sugarcane growing region of the department of Valle del Cauca, populations are generally low and no control is required (Uribe et al. 1997). However, Bustillo (2013) reported that a foliar infestation of up to 30% (presence of scales on one third of the leaf area) can cause losses to sugarcane production and the damage is worst in places where the soil has low fertility. Resumen Diversas investigaciones demuestran el incremento de la depresión infantil en varios países, y apuntan al autoconcepto como predictor asociado con la depre sión, riesgo suicida y otras conductas de riesgo que pueden manifestarse en la infancia o posteriormente. Existen escasos estudios publicados en México sobre depresión y comportamiento suicida en niños, a pesar del alarmante aumento del suicidio consumado en este grupo etario. Por ello, este estudio tuvo por objetivo describir la relación entre depresión y autoconcepto en una muestra de niños escolarizados del estado de Gua najuato, México. El presente fue un estudio descriptivo, exposfacto, transversal, con un muestreo intencional; participaron 217 niños escolarizados de ambos sexos y entre 9 y 13 años de edad. Se aplicó el Inventario de depresión infantil y el Cuestionario de autoconcepto general. Los resultados mostraron puntajes por encima del esperado en depresión leve/moderada y severa, ideación suicida y bajo autoconcepto. Se encontraron niveles de correlación significativos entre el autocon cepto, la sintomatología depresiva y el sexo. Se sugieren estrategias psicoeducativas que favorezcan la tempra na detección y el adecuado abordaje de los signos de sufrimiento emocional y conductas de riesgo en niños. Abstract Previous studies have shown the prevalence of depres sion in children, and have suggested that self-concept as the key variable to predict depressive symptoms, suicide risk and other risk behaviors, that may emerge during childhood or later in life. In Mexico, there are few reported studies about depression or suicidal ideation in children, despite the increasing suicide rate in this age group. This study was aimed to describe the rela tionship among depression and self-concept in a sample of children enrolled in primary schools of Guanajuato State, Mexico. This was a descriptive, transversal and ex post facto study with a non-probabilistic sample of 217 children of both sexes and 9-13 years old. The instruments used were: Child Depression Inventory and the Questionnaire of General Self Concept. The results of this research showed higher levels of mild/ moderate and severe Depression, Suicidal ideation, and low Self-concept. A significant correlation was found between Self-concept factors and Depressive Symptoms, and with sex. Psycho-educative strategies are suggested to appropriately detect and adequately address signs of depression, emotional suffering and risk behaviors in children. Resumo Diversas pesquisas demostram o incremento da De pressão infantil em vários países, e apontam ao auto-conceito como preditor associado da Depressão, risco suicida e outras condutas de risco, que podem manifes tar-se na infância ou posteriormente. Existem escassos estudos publicados no México sobre Depressão e com portamento suicida em crianças, a pesar do alarmante aumento do suicídio consumado neste grupo etário. Este estudo teve por objetivo descrever a relação entre Depressão e autoconceito em uma amostra de crianças escolarizadas do estado de Guanajuato, México. O presente foi um estudo descritivo, ex-post-facto, trans versal, com uma amostragem intencional; participaram 217 crianças escolarizadas, ambos os sexos, entre 9 e 13 anos de idade. Aplicaram-se o Inventário de Depressão Infantil e o Questionário de Autoconceito Geral. Os resultados mostraram pontuações por cima do espe rado em Depressão leve/moderada e severa, Ideação Suicida e baixo autoconceito. Se encontraram níveis de correlação significativos entre o Autoconceito e a sinto matologia depressiva e o sexo. Sugerem-se estratégias psico-educativas que favoreçam a prematura detecção e adequada abordagem dos signos de sofrimento emo cional e condutas de risco em crianças.

[ES] Este Trabajo Final de Grado (en adelante TFG) tiene como objetivo conseguir una adecuada y representativa descripción del puesto de trabajo Servipoli INTEGRA, en la Universitat Politècnica de València (o por sus siglas UPV). El análisis y descripción del puesto de trabajo es una herramienta indispensable en el sector de los recursos humanos. El estudio que se propone pretende determinar las diferentes obligaciones y responsabilidades del trabajador Servipoli INTEGRA de la Universitat Politècnica de València. Éstas están estrechamente relacionadas con las diferentes competencias transversales que los alumnos han de desarrollar de forma obligatoria en la Universitat como complemento al título universitario. El contexto en el que el trabajo se desarrolla es introducido al principio para situar al lector dentro de la estructura global de la Universitat Politècnica y poder entender las áreas más habituales del puesto. En este sentido, se describe la Universitat Politècnica de València y uno de los aspectos más innovadores de los estudios de grado: el aprendizaje basado en las Competencias Transversales, consideradas actualmente necesarias para la inserción del egresado en el mundo laboral. Una vez comprendido el marco en el que este estudio está planteado, se introducen dos nuevos conceptos muy relacionados, la Fundación Servipoli de la UPV y el trabajador servipoli INTEGRA, como individuo parte de la organización. A grandes rasgos se conocen los objetivos que plantea la fundación a través de sus estatutos y se introduce la figura del servipoli INTEGRA. El siguiente apartado introduce la metodología relacionada con este tipo de análisis. Es posteriormente en la propuesta dónde la metodología seleccionada será puesta en práctica para conseguir los resultados del estudio. Son estos resultados los que se comentan en el apartado posterior a la introducción metodológica, apoyados de gráficos y tablas. Como propuesta, se aporta un diagnóstico del puesto de trabajo a partir de la información recogida y analizada. Este diagnóstico se traduce en un documento físico: La Descripción del Puesto de Trabajo y, la Especificación del Puesto que incluye el perfil competencial (DPT/EPT por sus siglas respectivamente).

Mención Internacional en el título de doctor El ferrocarril es uno de los medios de transporte más utilizados y seguros en la actualidad, jugando un papel muy importante en la movilidad de las personas entre territorios. Además, en los últimos años está experimentando un crecimiento significativo, impulsado por la Alta Velocidad, con trenes capaces de superar los 300 km/h que reducen ostensiblemente la duración de viajes en trayectos de largo recorrido. El mantenimiento del parque ferroviario en un estado de funcionamiento óptimo es prioritario para la operatividad y la seguridad de los servicios. Esto requiere un conocimiento del estado de la vía y de los vehículos ferroviarios, lo cual suele hacerse vía técnicas de auscultación y análisis de parámetros vibratorios. En la presente Tesis Doctoral se ha desarrollado una metodología original encaminada al establecimiento de un procedimiento de diagnóstico del estado de los elementos mecánicos de un sistema ferroviario de alta velocidad mediante el análisis de vibraciones. Esta metodología engloba todos los procesos necesarios para realizar la diagnosis del estado operativo: definición del sistema mecánico analizado, establecimiento de las condiciones de medida, definición del sistema de medida y del sistema de adquisición y registro de datos, acceso y gestión de la base de datos de vibración, selección y consolidación de los datos, tratamiento de los datos mediante técnicas de análisis de señal, en el dominio del tiempo, de la frecuencia y del tiempo-frecuencia y selección de indicadores del estado operativo del sistema. La metodología se aplica a un Tren de Alta Velocidad durante su operación comercial, registrando medidas de las señales de vibración en diferentes condiciones de velocidad, trayecto, tramo y estado operativo. Las medidas vibratorias se han analizado utilizando diversas técnicas de tratamiento de señales en los dominios del tiempo, de la frecuencia y del tiempofrecuencia, algunas tomadas de la literatura técnica y otras originales, desarrolladas expresamente para esta investigación. La interpretación de los resultados obtenidos ha permitido la selección de indicadores del estado operativo del vehículo ferroviario. Para facilitar las tareas de selección y análisis de los datos de vibraciones, se ha concebido una herramienta informática que implementa todas las técnicas de tratamiento de la señal utilizadas. La aplicación software desarrollada dispone de una interfaz gráfica que permite acotar las señales vibratorias a procesar y acceder a todas las técnicas de análisis. Además, permite generar automáticamente informes de los resultados gráficos obtenidos e ir generando un histórico de resultados. Tanto la metodología propuesta como la herramienta software desarrollada tienen un carácter generalista, serían aplicables a cualquier otro sistema mecánico de similares características. Railway is one of the most used and safest modes of transportation today, playing a key role in the mobility of people between territories. In addition, it is undergoing a significant growth driven by High Speed Rail in recent years. High Speed Trains are able to exceed 300 km/h and reduce significantly the duration of travel on long journeys. The maintenance of rolling stock in a good working order is a priority for the operation and safety of the commercial services. This requires the knowledge of the condition of the track and the rail vehicles, which is usually done via auscultation techniques and analysis of vibratory parameters. In this Doctoral Thesis, it has been developed an original methodology aimed at the development of a procedure for diagnosing the state of the mechanical elements of a high-speed rail system through the analysis of vibrations. This methodology encompasses all the processes necessary to perform the operating state diagnosis: definition of the analysed mechanical system, definition of measurement conditions, definition of the measurement system and of the data acquisition and registration system, access and management of the vibration data database, selection and consolidation of data, data processing through signal analysis techniques, in time, frequency and time-frequency domains, and selection of indicators of the operating state of the system. The methodology is applied to a High Speed Train in commercial operation, recording the measurements of the vibration signals in different conditions of speed, path, section and operating state. Vibratory measurements have been analysed using different signal processing techniques in time, frequency and time-frequency domains; some techniques have been taken from the literature and other are original techniques, developed specifically for this research. The interpretation of the obtained results has led to the selection of indicators of the operating state of the railway vehicle. To facilitate the tasks of selection and analysis of vibration data, it has been designed a computer tool that implements all the used signal processing techniques. The developed application software has a graphical interface that allows to set the vibratory signals to process and to access to all the analysis techniques. In addition, it allows to automatically generate reports of the graphic results and to create a history of results. Both the proposed methodology and the developed software tool have a general nature, they would be applicable to any other mechanical system of similar characteristics. Setae all flagellate, with some submarginal setae larger; with one submarginal pair of setae on abdominal segment VII, 50 (29���50) long. Dorsum. Ostioles anterior and posterior ostioles very conspicuous (Figure 2 C), with prominent lips, inner borders sclerotized, 66 (55���87) wide; posterior ostioles with 16 (10���16) flagellate setae and 22 (11���20) trilocular pores; anterior ostioles with setae and pores but these not counted. Anus: anal ring subpentagonal, diameter= 51 (44���56); rows of cells not completely visible in dorsal view (Figure 2 D); outer row with 12 cells (12���14), with spicules; inner row apparently with 6 cells (6); with six flagellate anal setae, each 59 (56���64) long, shorter than ventral setae of anal lobe and subequal to width of anal ring. Anal lobes slightly developed, short (Figure 2 E); dorsally slightly sclerotized around setae bases (on one specimen only), with five flagellate setae on each lobe, longest 61 (66���70) long, middle-sized seta 41 (53���63) long, and three shorter setae, each 20 (24���33) long. Tritubular ducts numbering 15 (15���23), each with accompanying setae; only one size (diameter= 10���11); outer opening rounded; each tubule short (9 long, diameter= 3); present medially on head, prothorax, metathorax and abdominal segments III���V; also submarginally on each thoracic segment and laterally on mesothorax and abdominal segments I, III, V and VII. Tubular ducts very conspicuous, each 4 long, diameter= 4, present marginally on head, submarginal and laterally on thorax, and with a total of 2���14 (2���10) present laterally, submarginally, submedially and medially on each abdominal segment; absent on VIII. Multilocular disc pores present, each with 8���10 (8���10) loculi, diameter= 9 (8���9), numbering 24 (13���47), present on margins of all segments, except on head and abdominal segment viii. Trilocular pores subcircular, loculi protruding from cuticular surface, diameter= 3, equal to or slightly less than diameter of tubular ducts, evenly scattered. Setae: all flagellate; dorsum with some marginal setae larger than elsewhere; submarginal prothoracic pair 56 (47���60) long, and with three pairs of larger setae on abdominal segment VII as follows: one pair of marginal setae, each 66 (49��� 66) long; one pair of submarginal setae, each 36 (37���42) long, and one pair of lateral setae, each 30 (30���37) long. Genital chamber conspicuous (Figure 2 F), 81 (59���88) long, 14 (10���14) wide proximally, 42 (31���49) wide distally; with each arm of accessory glands located in posterior constriction. Crypticerya brasiliensis (Hempel) (Fig. 1A, B) Icerya brasiliensis Hempel 1900: 370. Icerya braziliensis Hempel 1912: 18. Misspelling of species epithet. Adult female elliptical, pink; antennae and legs dark brown; entirely covered with white secretion consisting of one long caudal tuft, one cephalic tuft, a marginal and a submarginal row of nine tufts on each side, and a central longitudinal mass of secretion; a tuft on each side of both caudal and cephalic tufts longer than other marginal tufts (Figure 1B, arrow). Anal tuft up to 20.5 mm long; caudal and cephalic tufts usually fluted with four longitudinal ribs. Ovisac large, white, sometimes showing a creamy tinge, distal end curved up, convex beneath and slightly striated longitudinally; dorsum and sides of ovisac longitudinally fluted, with 14 or 15 longitudinal furrows. Remarks. In life, the arrangement of waxy secretions in C. brasiliensis, C. multicicatrices and C. zeteki is superficially similar, namely the presence of a long caudal tuft and a shorter cephalic tuft. Crypticerya multicicatrices can be easily differentiated from the other two species by the shorter waxy tufts laterad to the long caudal tuft, which are no more than twice the length of other short marginal tufts. In C. brasiliensis, the waxy tufts laterad to the long caudal tuft are usually three or more times longer than other marginal tufts (Fig. 1B). Another iceryine species, C. zeteki (Fig. 1F) also recorded from Colombia has a similar arrangement of waxy secretions. According to the photograph of the type material provided by Kondo and Unruh (2009) and Figure 1F from specimens collected on D. lutescens (Arecaceae) in Tumaco, Nariño, Colombia, the waxy tufts laterad to the long caudal tuft in C. zeteki are about three times longer than the shorter marginal tufts, thus overlapping with C. brasiliensis. Adult female oval, 4.5 mm long, densely covered in white cottony tufts which are slightly stained with yellow; with an elongated central mass of white wax surrounded by a channel or depression, except anteriorly, and margined by a series of short quadrate tufts, about seven on each side, separated from each other only by slight depressions; on each side, about 10 short subquadrate tufts which are not separated by any interval; anteriorly with a suberect, horn-like but truncate waxy projection, 1 mm or more long; posteriorly with a similar waxy projection, but much longer (up to 4 mm), projecting over the ovisac. Ovisac 3.0– 3.5 mm long, strongly fluted, white suffused with pink; without glassy filaments; legs and antennae blackish (Figure 1F). Remarks. Heart Rate Variability (HRV) is an emerging research field in the study of diverse pathologies, as long as it allows considering another measurement for detecting possible aggravations. The aim of this work is to study the applicability of the analysis of HRV in order to establish if a person is at risk of suffering from suicidal ideation. This work includes the development and testing of a heart rate acquisition and automatic analysis system, with friendly software for clinicians, customized to the necessities of an emergency unit. En este proyecto se abordará el desarrollo de un sistema de suspensión activa basado en un nuevo algoritmo, propuesto por el grupo MAQLAB de la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, que hace uso de la característica determinista del ferrocarril. Para llevarlo a cabo se desarrollará un modelo de vehículo ½ sobre el entorno Simulink/SimMechanics que se validará mediante comparación con otro software de reconocido prestigio. Por otra parte, se planteará el nuevo algoritmo y se implementará en nuestro modelo en Simulink/SimMechanics, obteniendo un vehículo plenamente funcional. Por último, se realizarán simulaciones para comprobar si el funcionamiento del nuevo algoritmo es el esperado y se analizarán los resultados obtenidos. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ This project will address the development of an active suspension system based on a new algorithm, proposed by the MAQLAB group of University Carlos III de Madrid, which uses the deterministic property of railroad. To accomplish this target, a ½ vehicle model must be developed on Simulink/SimMechanics environment and it will be verified by comparison with other renowned software. Moreover, the new algorithm will be explained and, then, installed in our model in Simulink/SimMechanics, obtaining a fully functional vehicle.
