Ground beetles (Carabid beetles) may be found in virtually all of the world's habitats. They are one of the three most diverse families of extant beetles, with 34,275 species documented, and they serve as vital ecological markers in all environments. Edaphic living beetles catch and eat a wide variety of arthropods that live in the soil. In the case of weeds, most of the ground beetles eat their seeds and help regulate their populations. The findings of a field study in agrocenoses in South-East Kazakhstan from 2019 to 2020 are presented in this article. Twenty-seven ground beetle species from 9 genera were discovered as a consequence of the study. 670 soil traps yielded a total of 1012 beetles. Polytopic mesophilic beetles provide the foundation of the agrocenoses fauna. Hygrophils, mesophiles, and eurybionts are among the beetles found in irrigated areas, as are mixed and herbivorous species. The Carabidae family of beetles is the most numerous in fields and steppe settings. As a result, mixed-diet beetles can be found depending on the habitat and air temperature. The species of beetles in all fields in the investigation area are in accordance with the insects’ complex. During the growth season, the diet of beetles shifts: predatory beetles take precedence initially, followed by mixed-diet beetles.

In petroleum reservoir engineering, history matching refers to the calibration process in which a reservoir simulation model is validated through matching simulation outputs with the measurement of observed data. A traditional history matching technique is performed manually by engineering in which the most uncertain observed parameters are changed until a satisfactory match is obtained between the generated model and historical information. This study focuses on step by step and trial and error history matching of the Mishrif reservoir to constrain the appropriate simulated model. Up to 1 January 2021, Buzurgan Oilfield, which has eighty-five producers and sixteen injectors and has been under production for 45 years when it started in 1976. Reservoir exhibits heterogeneity in porosity and permeability throughout the field, therefore it’s a big challenge to control all reservoir properties during matching process. The historical matching process includes matching field and wells oil and water production rates, water injection rates, water cut, and reservoir static pressure. Finally, the results show that the good matching between simulated model and observed data; oil and water production rates, water injection rates, water cut, and static reservoir pressure which allow for implementing perfect future production forecasting strategies.

The research included study the adsorption of Clomid drug on the surface of activated carbon and zinc oxide. Many of parameters were studied which affect the adsorption process such as temperature, weight of adsorbent, equilibrium time, initial concentration and effect of pH. Activated carbon and zinc oxide were used as a model adsorbent in the experiments. We found that increased of temperature (30-50) °C followed by increased in adsorption capacity experiments were done at 30 °C and showed that the optimum weight of activated carbon was (0.15 g) while for zinc oxide was (0.1g), equilibrium time was (150 min) for the two adsorbents. The adsorption capacity of the two adsorbents increased with increasing initial concentration of drug, In addition, the experiments showed that the (3-7) pH was the best medium of the adsorption process.

A caricature is a drawing, the artist who draws it is a creative person who tries to send messages in a sarcastic way. This study is dedicated to investigate some selected Iraqi caricatures as one of the effective tools that have implied or hidden meanings. This study also tries to fill in the gap of the misunderstanding of the aims of the caricatures that have been taken from Iraqi newspapers. It also aims at identifying and explaining the elements of the pragmatic level of analysis for the selected coronavirus caricature posters. The researchers adopt Hymes’ SPEAKING model (1974), Grice’s Implicature theory (1975), and Yule’s Presupposition theory (1996). The study uses a qualitative method in collecting and analysing data. The selected data that will be analysed are three caricatures. The study concludes the importance of the pragmatic aspects in revealing the meaning of the texts in caricature posters by using different theories of pragmatics.

Background: Klebsiella pneumoniae is a member of the Enterobacteriaceae family. K. pneumoniae isolates produce enzymes that cause the hydrolysis of penicillins and cephalosporins.These enzymes are known as broad-spectrum beta-lactamases (ESBL). The resistance of K. pneumoniae to beta-lactamase antibiotics is usually mediated by beta-lactamase genes, and the present study aims to determine the prevalence of ESβL producing K. pneumoniae isolates with their antibiotic susceptibility pattern in urine samples of pregnant women with UTI. Method: The current study included two hundred twenty-five pregnant women as if they were suffering from urinary tract infection and were treated in the Shamiya General Hospital and the Pregnant Care Center in the Shamiya sector from October 2021 to March 2022. One hundred forty nine different types of bacteria were isolated and using diagnostic methods nineteen isolates of Klebsiella pneumoniae were obtained. Results: The results revealed that 225 pregnant women were the results were positive for 149 patients with urinary tract infections, and the bacterial growth was of different types the highest rate of infection was in the age group of 21–25 years. Then, 19 positive samples of Klebsiella pneumoniae were detected using chemical and morphological methods. Penicillin resistance was 100%.

Lung cancer (LC) is one of the most incident malignancies worldwide. This study investigated the potential role of matrix metalloproteinase9 gene (MMP9) single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in Lung cancer patients. The study population was included 75 Iraqi patients with confirmed Lung cancer and 25 healthy people as controls. In this study, the -1562 C/T polymorphism in MMP9 gene was detected by restriction fragment length polymorphism-polymerase chain reaction (RFLP-PCR) technique. The genotype distribution results of the -1562 C/T SNP of MMP9 gene have shown no significant differences (p>0.05) between controls (CC: n= 15, 60%; CT: n=9, 36%; TT: n=1, 4%) and Lung cancer patients (CC: n= 44, 58.66%; CT: n=30, 40%; TT: n=1, 1.34%). Results of the association analysis between genotype distribution of the -1562 C/T SNP of MMP9 gene and clinicopathological criteria of cases such as histological grading, TNM staging and lymph node metastasis, had shown no significant association (p>0.05). Background: Diabetes and hypertension have been identified as risk factors for HCV complications in previous studies. This has sparked the interest in the field of prevention by identifying at-risk individuals and increasing investments for screening among pharmacists. The aim of this study was to screen for risk factors, including age, gender, BMI, hypertension, diabetes, and obesity, in Egyptian patients with HCV. Methods: A prospective cross-sectional study was carried out from September 2018 to February 2019, with a total of 1,959 medical records collected. By comparing the patients’ characteristics, variables related to metabolic risk, and body composition measurements, regression models have been established to determine any confounding factors. Results: The prevalence of HCV antibody was 41.0% in men and 59.0% in women. Among the variables included in the regression analysis, age, BMI, and uncontrolled hypertension were found to have statistically significant associations with diabetes in HCV positive cases (p < 0.001). HCV patients ? 40 years old with high BMI were found to have significant associations with both, diabetes and hypertension (p < 0.001). Hypertensive HCV patients were found to have significant associations with gender, age ? 40, and DM (p < 0.001). Conclusion: HCV infection and metabolic disorders have a closed cycle relationship. Reducing the complications of DM has a promising prospective of limiting the complications of HCV.

Purpose Drawing on the knowledge-based view and social exchange theory, this study aims to examine how top management support relates both directly and indirectly to employee creativity through knowledge management processes (acquisition and sharing) and absorptive capacity. Design/methodology/approach Data were collected from 284 academics and researchers working in research centres in Iraq’s public universities to assess their perceptions of management support, knowledge management, absorptive capacity and creativity. Findings Performing structural equation modelling with AMOS, positive relationships were identified between top management support, knowledge management processes, absorptive capacity and employee creativity. The study findings emphasise the pivotal role of top management support in creating an environment that fosters knowledge acquisition and sharing, and enhancing absorptive capacity, in turn, amplifying employee creativity. Empirical evidence confirming the salient role of knowledge management and absorptive capacity in strengthening employee creativity in the context of Iraqi academia and researchers is presented. Originality/value The study shows that knowledge management processes and absorptive capacity mediate the influence of top management support on employee creativity. The premise of absorptive capacity is the individual’s ability to identify, accumulate and assimilate relevant knowledge from external sources and commercialise the gained knowledge.

E-learning has become a popular learning method used in many local and international universities and in many educational institutions. The initial achievements of e-learning platforms and the online learning environment demonstrated outstanding advantages in distance education. However, it is necessary to conduct an evaluation of the educational process, and in particular an effective assessment of the learning environment via online-based e-learning platforms. Where this study aimed to identify the evaluation of the effectiveness of e-learning from the point of view of the teaching staff in the Technical Institute of Babel and the Technical Institute Al-Mussaib. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers prepared a questionnaire containing (32) questions, after verifying the tools of reliability and validity. The results of the study revealed that the evaluation of the effectiveness of e-learning was average and above average in some paragraphs of the questionnaire. The percentage (84,070) of faculty members use computers and smart phones to publish academic content through the use of the home internet, at a rate of (95,575) in the form of creating educational content in several forms, including video, audio and text at the same time.

All these aspects of culture have been effected by the emergence of globalization. On the other hand languages have also been effected by the global change of the world. Therefore, people tend to use Language and other forms of symbolic communication to create, explain, and record new ideas and information to cope with the new development of the world. Language, which possesses all the features of culture, belongs to institutional culture. Like all other aspects of culture, language is not inherited but acquired and shared by a whole society; like all other aspects of institutional culture, language is conventional and governed by rules which are acknowledged and observed by all members of society. Language mirrors other parts of culture, supports them, spreads them and helps to develop others. This special feature of language distinguishes it from all other facets of culture and makes it crucially important for the transfer of culture. But language is also changeable by the time in order to cover all new means of communication among nations. Language change is a global phenomenon owing to the changing nature of the circumstances and contexts in which a language may be used It is no exaggeration to say that language is the life-blood of culture and that culture is the track along which language forms and develops.

Purpose: This research will study how hyperspectral sensoring can assess the moisture content of lettuce by monitoring its growth in indoor vertical farming. Research questions: “What accuracy can be achieved when using hyperspectral sensoring for assessing the moisture content of lettuce leaves grown in vertical farming?” “How can vertical farming contribute to sustainability in conjunction with integration of NIR spectroscopy?” Methodology: This study is an experimental study with a deductive approach in which experiments have been performed using the hyperspectral technologies singlespot sensor and the hyperspectral camera Specim FX17 to collect spectral data. To analyze the data from the experiments two regression models were used and trained to make it possible to predict future moisture content values in lettuce. In order to get a better understanding and analyze the results from the experiments, a literature review was also conducted on how hyperspectral imaging has been applied to assess the quality of food products. Conclusion: The achieved accuracies were 58.24 % and 65.54 % for the PLS regression model and the Neural Network model respectively. Employing hyperspectral sensoring as a non-destructive technique to assess the quality of food products grown and harvested in vertical farming systems, contributes to sustainability from several aspects such as reducing food waste, minimizing costs and detecting different quality attributes that affect the food products. The current study dealt with the preparation of fish products (tablets) from the sea fish that was purchased from the local markets in Basrah province, which was preserved by refrigeration after conducting the formation process for fish products and divided into three groups. A sports-related concussion (SRC) is most commonly sustained in contact sports, and is defined as a mild traumatic brain injury. An exercise-induced elevation of core body temperature is associated with increased brain temperature that may accelerate secondary injury processes following SRC, and exacerbate the brain injury. In a recent pilot study, acute head-neck cooling of 29 concussed ice hockey players resulted in shorter time to return-to-play. Here, we extended the clinical trial to include players of 19 male elite Swedish ice hockey teams over five seasons (2016-2021). In the intervention teams, acute head-neck cooling was implemented using a head cap for ≥45 min in addition to the standard SRC management used in controls. The primary endpoint was time from SRC until return-to-play (RTP). Sixty-one SRCs were included in the intervention group and 71 SRCs in the control group. The number of previous SRCs was 2 (median and interquartile range [IQR]: 1.0-2.0) and 1 (IQR 1.0-2.0) in the intervention and control groups, respectively

Using these parameters a novel way to stability of the dynamics based on the number of interior equilibrium solutions admitted by the system has been obtained. We investigate the considered model is reach in dynamics and identified various bifurcations that are experienced by the considered system from the parameter space. These are saddle-node bifurcation, trans-critical bifurcation, and pitchfork bifurcation. In this study we offer mathematical proof for the incidence of these bifurcations that take place in the considered dynamical system as the parameters move between the regions presented in the parameter space and accordingly, this method was enhanced with numerical results.

Brain tumors are the growth of abnormal cells or a mass in a brain. Numerous kinds of brain tumors were discovered, which need accurate and early detection techniques. Currently, most diagnosis and detection methods rely on the decision of neuro-specialists and radiologists to evaluate brain images, which may be time-consuming and cause human errors. This paper proposes a robust U-Net deep learning Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model that can classify if the subject has a tumor or not based on Brain Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with acceptable accuracy for medical-grade application. The study built and trained the 3D U-Net CNN including encoding/decoding relationship architecture to perform the brain tumor segmentation because it requires fewer training images and provides more precise segmentation. The algorithm consists of three parts; the first part, the downsampling part, the bottleneck part, and the optimum part. The resultant semantic maps are inserted into the decoder fraction to obtain the full-resolution probability maps. The developed U-Net architecture has been applied on the MRI scan brain tumor segmentation dataset in MICCAI BraTS 2017. The results using Matlab-based toolbox indicate that the proposed architecture has been successfully evaluated and experienced for MRI datasets of brain tumor segmentation including 336 images as training data and 125 images for validation. This work demonstrated comparative performance and successful feasibility of implementing U-Net CNN architecture in an automated framework of brain tumor segmentations in Fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) MR Slices. Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common cancer and the second leading cause of cancer related deaths in the world with an estimated number of 1.8 million new cases and about 881,000 deaths worldwide in 2018. The epidemiology of CRC varies significantly between different regions in the world as well as between different age, gender and racial groups. Multiple factors are involved in this variation, including risk factor exposure, demographic variations in addition to genetic susceptibility and genetic mutations and their effect on the prognosis and treatment response. In this mini-review, we discuss the recent epidemiological trend including the incidence and mortality of colorectal cancer worldwide and the factors affecting these trends.

The purpose of the present research is to study the dissolution and transport of LNAPL(toluene) from a circular pool in heterogeneous sand soil. An aquifer was constructed toconduct this aim with dimension of (100 * 50 * 30) cm. The aquifer was packed withheterogeneous sand soil. Eight points at three depths along the aquifer were selected forsampling procedures. Samples were analysis for toluene concentration using gaschromatography devise. Three velocities of five were selected to explain the transportphenomena. Statistical analysis was applied to the data to find the correlation betweenmeasured concentrations. It was found that, the concentrations of toluene were fluctuatedin the low and max porous medium flow velocities (0.408 and 5.118) cm/day effect of flowthrough porous media on. The statistical analysis showed that there a correlation betweenconcentrations of toluene in the vertical direction (depth) of the medium.

Borrowing words from one language to another has always happened. some words both in meaning and in pronunciation may change from the source language to the destination language over time and in the process of borrowing. Laki is one of the ancient languages observed in the provinces of Lorestan, Ilam, Kermanshah, Central Hamedan, Khuzestan and Qazvin. Geographically, they are located between Lorraine and Kurdish lands. The main centers of Laki speakers are the cities of Selseleh (Aleshtar), Noorabad (Delfan), Kuhdasht and Darhshahr. There are some words in Laki whose roots can be found in Arabic. The purpose of writing this article is to study the meaning and phonological processes of Arabic words involved in Laki (the language of a part of the people of the west of Iran) in the framework of reproductive phonology. The method of work in this research is descriptive-analytical in which a limited number of words have been examined and have been transliterated based on IPA international transliteration. The results of the study indicate that the most important phonological processes in Arabic to Laki words are the process of omition, weakening, inserting vowel enhancement and recurrence. In the semantic study of words, it was found that some words such as " baua, hap, huz, hwal, Xef, zaqom, Rasan, etc." indicate the same Arabic meaning, some words such as "Lakh" have intensified their meaning and some words in Laki, like "Vera", they adhere to one of the past meanings of the Arabic language, which is in opposition to the modern meaning (in Arabic).

Inflammation is the vital part of the immune system's response to injury and infection. It is the body's way of signaling the immune system to heal and repair damaged tissue. The objective of this paper is to design and synthesize a new isoindoline 1,3-dinoe derivative and investigate their selective anti inflammatory activity to COXs. As a potential anti-inflammatory compound, Isoindoline-1,3-dione derivatives were synthesized from the addition reaction of phthalimide, formaldehyde, catalytic amount of potassium hydroxide and cyclic amine in ethanol yielded the desired Isoindoline-1,3-dione compounds (ZJ1-ZJ6. 1H- NMR, ¹³C-NMR, FT-IR and elemental analysis were consistent with the assigned structures. Isoindoline-1,3-dione derivatives exhibited good inhibitory activity against the COX enzymes. To explain the result of our investigation to COX-1 and COX-2 and the selectivity of our compounds to either COX-1 or COX-2, the rationalization in COX-1, the amino group participate more effectively in binding with the ligand while in COX-2, the aryl group is more effective in binding to the ligand. The amino acetylenic compounds behave differently toward COXs from our compound. ZJ4 have shown some selective COX-1 ligand efficiency while ZJ1 promised a potent blockage and ligand efficiency toward the COX-2 enzyme which was found to be higher than the marketed drug Indomethacin and near potency score of Celecoxib. For the first time, this indicates the requirement of investigating the removal of acetylenic group in this study showed that it might be a different binding site in COXs which may result in effective compounds.
