Having as bibliographic support, the scientific material published between 2005 and 2020 in English. Objective: to design a methodology for the integration of process management, Industry 4.0 technology and Lean Six Sigma principles that contribute to improving the performance of manufacturing SMEs. Methodology: for the development of the study, the construction of the state of the art is carried out, based on the Systematic Review of the Literature (RSL), which allows the identification of future research opportunities. Then, the SME operational structure is built, the characterization of the thematic components and the definition of technical elements based on the methodological construct, which offers an inventory as support for the construction of the integrating methodology. Subsequently, the GP, LSS, I.4.0 integrative methodology in SMEs is developed, which is based on the core with the SME operating structure and supported by improvement cycles. Finally, validation instruments are designed, which allow feedback on the performance of the integrative methodology, the production capacity and compliance with the standard. Results: construction of the methodology that integrates the GP, LSS, I4.0 themes to improve the performance of SMEs, made up of: 1. Operational structure (SMEs), designed based on its particular characteristics, keeping in mind the ecosystem where interacts and the ability to adapt to the industrial environment, 2. Diagnosis, a clear scenario of the process to be intervened is built, 3. Intervention, the process standard is defined, accompanied by a regulatory system based on the DMAIC cycle, 4. Feedback, the capacity of the intervened process is verified in terms of capacity and standard compliance, accompanied by validators and I4.0 technology, 5. Adjustment, goals, alarm limits and improvement projects are defined, accompanied by a self-regulating system, supported by the PHVA cycle and supported with I4.0 technologies, providing information available for decision making, 6. Improvement, the process is conditioned to improve the productivity in SMEs, accompanied by 5S and Kaizen techniques. Finally, validation instruments are defined, which allow feedback on the performance of the integrative methodology, the production capacity and compliance with the standard, allowing its performance to be evaluated and adjustments to be made for its improvement. The importance of the validators lies in the fact that the integrative methodology is based on improvement cycles, so that constant feedback is essential for the good performance of the methodology and its impact on improving the performance of SMEs.
