Lipodermatosclerosis (LDS) is a serious skin change associated with the progression of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) of the lower extremities, and can be clinically divided into acute phase, subacute phase and chronic phase. The disease is common in middle-aged women, prone to occur in the lower leg 1/3, clinical manifestations of the skin flake erythema, induration, pigmentation, skin rough and thickening. The patients often suffer from secondary infection after scratching due to pruritus. The severe ones can form refractory ulcer or even cause skin necrosis, and may be canceration. At present, domestic reports on LDS are less, the clinical manifestations, etiology, pathogenesis and treatment of the LDS are reviewed in present paper, in order to strengthen the understanding of LDS and provide the evidence for clinical diagnosis and treatment of LDS. The immunoglobulin G4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is a newly recognized systemic autoimmune disease characterized by diffuse inflammatory cell infiltration and/or organ enlargement in one or more organ foci and elevated serum IgG4 levels. Typical histopathological changes include lymphocytic cell infiltration, schlieren interstitial fibrosis, and/or occlusive phlebitis. The incidence of IgG4-RD is low, very heterogeneous, and similar to many other diseases in clinical, pathological and laboratory examination, so delayed diagnosis and misdiagnosis are very common. The early diagnosis and differential diagnosis of IgG4-RD have been reviewed in present paper, especially IgG4-related hepatobiliary diseases, IgG4-related skin lesions, Mikulic disease and autoimmune pancreatitis, in order to reduce misdiagnosis. Tissue-engineered skin plays an important role in clinical applications, and even the rapid development of science and technology promotes the research about it. Choosing an appropriate animal model for wound repair is the prerequisite for the objective evaluation of the object of study. In this paper, the research progress of animal models of wound repair was introduced from several aspects, such as selection of experimental animals, making of wound models, skin-related cells and materials, wound healing evaluation indexes, etc., hoping to provide reference for later research work. With the widely use of tourniquet in battlefield, the mortality of limbs bleeding has decreased remarkably. However, torso hemorrhage has become the leading cause inducing battlefield mortality. In present paper, the concept and features of torso hemorrhage were introduced, and the scheme, equipment and techniques of emergency control of torso hemorrhage were also described systematically, including local hemostatic materials, cavity foam materials, hemostasis device and aortic compression technique, etc. At the present stage, it is the key of reducing tactics mortality to actively research and develop the tactical stage equipment and technology for emergency treatment of tactical torso injuries. The new military reform has put forward multiple challenges to the defense and medical support abilities, so the concept of war wound rescue should be constantly updated. The present paper introduces the concept and development of tactical war wounds rescue, analyze the echelons for war wound care and the characteristics and duty of each echelon in tactical war wounds rescue, summarized the management and update of the "Tactical War Wounds Rescue Guideline". The article also discusses the present situation of war wounds rescue, and the significance in the development and construction the principles of war wounds rescue. Wound healing is a complex and orderly biological process. Any factor hindering its smooth progress will impact the wound healing. A large number of clinical and experimental studies suggested that stress played a very important role in the process and outcome of wound healing. Moderate stress was not only a harmless factor on wound healing, but also beneficial to promote the wound healing. However, excessive stress will certainly affect the speed and quality of wound healing. Although it was clear that the severity of stress positively correlated with the levels of stress hormones, but the exact mechanisms and influential factors remain unclear. The present paper will discuss the possible mechanisms of stress in affecting the wound healing by retrieving relevant domestic and foreign literature, so as to provide a reference for accelerating the rate and improving the quality of wound healing by regulation and control of stress. Objective Pruritus caused by various diseases severely affects the physical and mental health of servicemen.The aim of the present paper is to suggest a direction of research in pruritus based on the current status of research and treatment of pruritus.Methods The current status of research and treatment of pruritus were analyzed based on the literature of basic research and clinical work during the last decade,combined with the results of the authors’ clinical research work.Results For the past 10 years,the study in neurophysiology of pruritus had made great advances in basic research field,in which the discovery of pruritus-mediating nerve fibers considerably expanded the knowledge on pathogenesis of pruritus,and many new pruritus mediators and their respective receptors had been identified to be involved in induction and chronicity of the symptom.Although many new therapies had been proposed,severe chronic pruritus was still a great challenge in clinical practice.Conclusion Further understanding of the key molecules of pruritus signals and respective pruritus receptors will eventually become the targets for novel topical and systemic therapies,and provide new therapeutic options for the patients with severe chronic pruritus.
