Interior space is the main target of Art and Design is to provide virtual body can enjoy the sway of various design elements environment indoors. This space is "virtual and real," "yes or no", the core issue is the interior design of the study.

Interior furnishing design actually is the construction interior space design, an organic part of the whole building, a continuation of the architectural design, a manifestation of deepening the concept of architectural space.This article elaborates on the close relationship between furnishing design and interior design, contents and the important role of furnishing design classification.

This paper improved the existing multi-function auditorium by disposing the interior walls and ground materials through secondary interior space design under the condition in which its location, floor height and size remain unchanged. Besides, simulation analysis was also made by combining with specific examples.

Building materials for decoration are carriers for space art design to represent language, are material foundation for environment art design. Selection of materials is the basic matter for study of design. So, only by getting a full understanding of the properties of decoration materials, making good use of their advantages through reasonable selection and flexible collocation, and with respect to the available space environment, can materials perfectly perform their functions, thus fulfill the demand of interior space design.
