Since most university campuses are a hub of activity, there are frequently numerous visitors on the university campus at any one time. Likewise, Texas Tech attracts many visitors on university related business throughout the year. Sources report, however, that Tech is one of the few schools of its size in the nation with no facilities to accomodate the temporary housing of these guests. Certain faculty and administration members have expressed interest in the study and proposal of a facility to provide for housing and the related activities of these visitors.
