The capability to accurately analyse the response of multi-directional composite laminates during impact events is of high importance for the design of lightweight aircraft structures. In this work, both experimental and numerical analyses are performed covering a large design-space of laminates for all aspects from on-set of damage and barely visible impact damage up to clearly visible impact damage and full penetration of the laminates. The impact tests are simulated using a sophisticated three-dimensional continuum damage model, combined with an automated meso-scale model generation algorithm for ply-by-ply, material/fibre-aligned meshing of laminated composite coupons. To assess the accuracy of the predictions, an extensive validation test program of several configurations and impact energies has been performed, thus demonstrating that the simulations are capable of accurately predicting the damage and failure mechanisms under low-velocity impact loading. Die vorliegende Untersuchung beschäftigt sich mit inkarnatorischer Verkündigung, indem sie danach fragt, wie die christliche Botschaft heutzutage ganzheitlich präsentiert werden kann. Sie soll sowohl die Bevölkerung als auch Kirchen und Gemeinschaften eines urbanen Kontextes erreichen und dazu ermutigen, die Wirklichkeit der Guten Nachricht zu leben. Die Untersuchung definiert, wie ein inkarnatorisches Verständnis von Predigt als Ausdruck der kenotischen Partizipation, der kerygmatischen Leiterschaft und der sozialen Dimension aussieht und wie dieses in der mikro-, meso- und makrosozialen Ebene umgesetzt werden kann. Basierend auf dem Anspruch des Neuen Testaments, dass das Reich Gottes im Messias nahe herbeigekommen ist, dienen die Literaturstudie (deduktiv) und die qualitativen Experteninterviews (induktiv) der Erörterung des Untersuchungsgegenstandes. In einem mehrsprachigen Umfeld, in welchem die christliche Gemeinschaft fragmentiert und multikulturell existiert, kann der besprochene Ansatz zur Dialogfähigkeit, wechselseitigen Wertschätzung und vertieften Konzilianz beitragen. Ein inkarnatorisches Verständnis christlicher Verkündigung vermag Widerständen unterschiedlicher Art zu trotzen. Sowohl innerkirchlich als auch nach aussen gerichtet, kann ein gemeinsames Zeugnis der Gemeinschaften und Kirchen vor Ort wachsen. Die Sprach- und Handlungsfähigkeit einer auf Sammlung und Sendung ausgerichteten Ekklesiologie wird gefördert., The presented research deals with incarnational preaching by asking how the Christian message can be presented nowadays so that both the population as well as churches and communities of an urban setting can be reached and encouraged to live and experience the Kingdom of God. The study defines what a incarnational understanding of preaching as an expression of kenotic participation, kerygmatic leadership and the social dimension looks like, and how this can be implemented in the micro-, meso- and macro social level. Based on the New Testament’s claim that in the Messiah the Kingdom of God is at hand, literature study (deductive) and expert interviews (inductive) will discuss the object of study. In a multilingual environment with a fragmented and multicultural Christian community, the discussed approach can contribute to dialog ability, mutual respect and reconciliation. An incarnational view of Christian preaching is able to defy various kinds of opposition. As a result a common witness of communities and local churches can grow – directed both within and outside the church. The ability to act and speak of a gathering- and missionoriented ecclesiology is promoted.

Introduction Results from preclinical and clinical trials indicate that combination of the Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) specific antibody Cetuximab (C225) with classical radiotherapy improves local tumor control and overall survival of patients with head and neck cancers1-4. First results of Meller et al. showed a synergistic effect of 131I-labelled C225 in combination with external irradiation in vitro5. These data indicate that the combination of internal radiation dose delivered by radiolabelled C225 plus the therapeutic effect of C225 in combination with radiotherapy might significantly lower the overall external dose applied to patients, reducing undesired side effects on healthy tissue. Thus, bimodal cancer therapy seems a promising approach. This encouraged us to investigate the combined effect of 90Y[Y]-CHX-A"-DTPA-Cetuximab (90Y-C225) and radiation dose delivered by external beam irradiation in vitro and in vivo in our joint project. Materials and Methods CHX-A´´-DTPA was conjugated to C225 via thiourea bridging. Radiolabelling was performed under mild conditions using [90Y]YCl3. Binding affinity of 90Y-C225 was studied by flow cytometric analysis as well as by competitive binding assays using cells in 2D and 3D culture or cell membrane preparations. Distribution in spheroids (FaDu) was studied in a concentration- and time-dependent manner. Cellular uptake, EGFR binding specificity and kinetics, retention of 90Y-C225 as well as clonogenic activity of 90Y-C225 treated cells in combination with external irradiation were studied. Seit einigen Ausgaben befinden sich unter den Abschlussarbeiten, die beim Redaktionsteam von „TRANSFER – Kommunikationswissenschaftliche Nachwuchsforschung im Internet“ eingereicht werden, immer mehr Bachelorarbeiten. Dabei fallen der ganz unterschiedliche Umfang und die heterogene Tiefe der Arbeiten auf. Aus diesem Grund hat sich die TRANSFER-Redaktion einen Überblick über die Anforderungen an Bachelor- und Master-Arbeiten in den deutschsprachigen Instituten verschafft. Von 24 Instituten liegen Angaben vor, 20 von ihnen befinden sich in Deutschland und jeweils zwei in der Schweiz und in Österreich.

The Computer Center CDC Libraries (CLIB) manual is a cross reference volume for many subprograms, programs, utilities and procedures available on the CDC cyber 170 computers at DTNSRDC. CLIB lists the routines by functional category and alphabetically, by library, with descriptive titles.

Valuable metals such as cadmium, manganese, lead and zinc can be leached from jarosite, an industrial waste material. Using Thiobacillus thiooxidans, leaching efficiencies of about 30% for copper, 40% for zinc and 95% for manganese have been achieved.
