Background and Aims: Fatty liver disease is a major public health threat due to its very high prevalence and related morbidity and mortality. Focused and dedicated interventions are urgently needed to target disease prevention, treatment, and care. Approach and Results: We developed an aligned, prioritized action agenda for the global fatty liver disease community of practice. Following a Delphi methodology over 2 rounds, a large panel (R1 n = 344, R2 n = 288) reviewed the action priorities using Qualtrics XM, indicating agreement using a 4-point Likert-scale and providing written feedback. Priorities were revised between rounds, and in R2, panelists also ranked the priorities within 6 domains: epidemiology, treatment and care, models of care, education and awareness, patient and community perspectives, and leadership and public health policy. The consensus fatty liver disease action agenda encompasses 29 priorities. In R2, the mean percentage of “agree” responses was 82.4%, with all individual priorities having at least a super-majority of agreement (> 66.7% “agree”). The highest-ranked action priorities included collaboration between liver specialists and primary care doctors on early diagnosis, action to address the needs of people living with multiple morbidities, and the incorporation of fatty liver disease into relevant non-communicable disease strategies and guidance. Conclusions: This consensus-driven multidisciplinary fatty liver disease action agenda developed by care providers, clinical researchers, and public health and policy experts provides a path to reduce fatty liver disease prevalence and improve health outcomes. To implement this agenda, concerted efforts will be needed at the global, regional, and national levels.

[Background & Aims] Patients with fatty liver disease may experience stigma from the disease or comorbidities. In this cross-sectional study, we aimed to understand stigma among patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD)/nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and healthcare providers., [Methods] Members of the Global NASH Council created two surveys about experiences/attitudes toward NAFLD and related diagnostic terms: a 68-item patient and a 41-item provider survey., [Results] Surveys were completed by 1,976 patients with NAFLD across 23 countries (51% Middle East/North Africa [MENA], 19% Europe, 17% USA, 8% Southeast Asia, 5% South Asia) and 825 healthcare providers (67% gastroenterologists/hepatologists) across 25 countries (39% MENA, 28% Southeast Asia, 22% USA, 6% South Asia, 3% Europe). Of all patients, 48% ever disclosed having NAFLD/NASH to family/friends; the most commonly used term was “fatty liver” (88% at least sometimes); “metabolic disease” or “MAFLD” were rarely used (never by >84%). Regarding various perceptions of diagnostic terms by patients, there were no substantial differences between “NAFLD”, “fatty liver disease (FLD)”, “NASH”, or “MAFLD”. The most popular response was being neither comfortable nor uncomfortable with either term (56%-71%), with slightly greater discomfort with “FLD” among the US and South Asian patients (47-52% uncomfortable). Although 26% of patients reported stigma related to overweight/obesity, only 8% reported a history of stigmatization or discrimination due to NAFLD. Among providers, 38% believed that the term “fatty” was stigmatizing, while 34% believed that “nonalcoholic” was stigmatizing, more commonly in MENA (43%); 42% providers (gastroenterologists/hepatologists 45% vs. 37% other specialties, p = 0.03) believed that the name change to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (or MASLD) might reduce stigma. Regarding the new nomenclature, the percentage of providers reporting “steatotic liver disease” as stigmatizing was low (14%)., [Conclusions] The perception of NAFLD stigma varies among patients, providers, geographic locations and sub-specialties.

Introduction. Anti-inflammatories, immunosuppressants, and immunobiological are commonly used in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. However, some patients do not present an adequate response or lose effective response during the treatment. A recent study found a potential anti-inflammatory effect of the hydroalcoholic extract of Mimosa caesalpiniifolia on trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid-induced colitis in Wistar rats. Objective. To evaluate the effects of M. caesalpiniifolia pre-formulation on the intestinal barrier using dextran sulfate sodium-induced colitis model.Materials and methods. Leaf extracts were prepared in 70% ethanol and dried with a Buchi B19 Mini-spray dryer using 20% Aerosil® solution. Thirty-two male Wistar ratswere randomized into four groups: basal control, untreated colitis, pre-formulation control (125 mg/kg/day), and colitis treated with pre-formulation (125 mg/kg/day). Clinical activity index was recorded daily and all rats were euthanized on the ninth day. Colon fragments were fixed and processed for histological and ultrastructural analyses. Stool samples were collected and processed for analysis of the short-chain fatty acid.Results. Treatment with the pre-formulation decreased the clinical activity (bloody diarrhea), inflammatory infiltrate, and the ulcers. Pre-formulation did not repair the epithelial barrier and there were no significant differences in the goblet cells index. There was a significant difference in butyrate levels in the rats treated with the pre-formulation. Conclusions. The pre-formulation minimized the clinical symptoms of colitis and intestinal inflammation, but did not minimize damage to the intestinal barrier., Introducción. Los antiinflamatorios, inmunosupresores e inmunobiológicos se utilizan comúnmente para tratar la enfermedad intestinal inflamatoria. Sin embargo, algunos pacientes no presentan una respuesta adecuada o pierden respuesta efectiva durante el tratamiento. En un estudio reciente, se encontró un potencial efecto antiinflamatorio del extracto hidroalcohólico de Mimosa caesalpiniifolia en la colitis inducida por el ácido trinitrobenceno sulfónico utilizando ratas Wistar.Objetivo. Evaluar los efectos de la preformulación de M. caesalpiniifolia sobre la barrera intestinal durante la colitis inducida por sulfato de dextrano sódico.Materiales y métodos. Los extractos de hojas se prepararon con una solución que contenía 70 % de etanol y se secaron con un secador por aspersión Mini B19 de Buchi usando una solución con 20 % de Aerosil®. Treinta y dos ratas Wistar macho se aleatorizaron en cuatro grupos: control basal, colitis sin tratar, control con preformulación (125 mg/kg/día) y colitis tratada con preformulación (125 mg/kg/día). El índice de actividad clínica se registró diariamente y todas las ratas se sacrificaron el noveno día. Los fragmentos de colon se fijaron y se procesaron para análisis histológicos y ultraestructurales. Se recolectaron muestras de heces y se procesaron para el análisis de ácidos grasos de cadena corta.Resultados. El tratamiento con la preformulación disminuyó la actividad clínica (diarrea sanguinolenta), el infiltrado inflamatorio y las úlceras. La preformulación no reparó la barrera epitelial y no hubo diferencias significativas en el índice de células caliciformes. Se obtuvo una diferencia significativa en los niveles de butirato en las ratas tratadas con la preformulación. Conclusiones: La preformulación minimizó los síntomas clínicos de colitis e inflamación intestinal pero no minimizó el daño a la barrera intestinal.

The principal limitations of the terms NAFLD and NASH are the reliance on exclusionary confounder terms and the use of potentially stigmatising language. This study set out to determine if content experts and patient advocates were in favor of a change in nomenclature and/or definition. A modified Delphi process was led by three large pan-national liver associations. The consensus was defined a priori as a supermajority (67%) vote. An independent committee of experts external to the nomenclature process made the final recommendation on the acronym and its diagnostic criteria. A total of 236 panelists from 56 countries participated in 4 online surveys and 2 hybrid meetings. Response rates across the 4 survey rounds were 87%, 83%, 83%, and 78%, respectively. Seventy-four percent of respondents felt that the current nomenclature was sufficiently flawed to consider a name change. The terms nonalcoholic and fatty were felt to be stigmatising by 61% and 66% of respondents, respectively. Steatotic liver disease was chosen as an overarching term to encompass the various aetiologies of steatosis. The term steatohepatitis was felt to be an important pathophysiological concept that should be retained. The name chosen to replace NAFLD was metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease. There was consensus to change the definition to include the presence of at least 1 of 5 cardiometabolic risk factors. Those with no metabolic parameters and no known cause were deemed to have cryptogenic steatotic liver disease. A new category, outside pure metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease, termed metabolic and alcohol related/associated liver disease (MetALD), was selected to describe those with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease, who consume greater amounts of alcohol per week (140-350 g/wk and 210-420 g/wk for females and males, respectively). The Innovation Policy for Connected Education (PIEC) seeks to support the universalization of internet access and foster the pedagogical use of digital technologies in education. It appears in the form of a Program instituted from Decree No. 9,204 of 2017 and becomes a policy through Law No. 14.180/2021. The research aimed to understand the determinants of PIEC and the discourses around the universalization of internet access and the pedagogical use of technologies. We rely on a quantitative-qualitative approach as a broader possibility, which was developed through bibliographic and documentary research, and data analysis is based on the content analysis approach. We evidence that, explicitly, there is a recurrence of proposals and approaches that express the need to universalize access to digital technologies and, implicitly, we perceive that this emphasis is presented as a condition for the pedagogical aspect., A Política de Inovação Educação Conectada (PIEC) busca apoiar a universalização do acesso à internet e fomentar o uso pedagógico de tecnologias digitais na educação. Surge no formato de um Programa instituído a partir do Decreto nº. 9.204 de 2017 e transforma-se em política por meio da Lei nº. 14.180/2021. Rare earth element free magnets, such as ferrites, are weaker than their more common alternatives and therefore more prone to demagnetization. Additionally, in permanent magnet electrical machines they are commonly tangentially magnetized and placed in a spoke-type geometry to enhance the magnetic field. In this geometry, the magnets are subject to inclined fields, which are normally not accounted for when evaluating demagnetization risk. In this paper, different methods for demagnetization of permanent magnets are applied to two motors under two distinct loading conditions and the results are compared. It is concluded that it is more important to consider inclined fields when studying ferrite magnets than rare earth element magnets. The common, simplified method of omitting inclined fields is shown to be the most conservative method for evaluating demagnetization. However, more precise results can be reached with methods taking inclined fields into account, especially if the models are adapted for the specific magnet type. Two motors with similar performance have been designed, one with rare earth element magnets and one with ferrites. The motor with ferrites is more sensitive to demagnetization and the bulk of the magnet reaches the demagnetization limit at a lower current than for the motor with rare earth element-based magnets. Finally, demagnetization of magnets is compared for two different rotor positions, emphasizing the importance of considering rotor position when evaluating demagnetization risk.

In internal permanent magnet synchronous machines (IPMSM), the use of ferrite permanent magnets is being studied as an alternative to rare-earth elements-based permanent magnets, such as NdFeB. However, demagnetization measurements of ferrite magnets are rarely published and such information is crucial for an efficient electrical machine design with ferrite magnets. In this paper, we present measurements of partial demagnetization on ferrite permanent magnets subject to inclined external magnetic fields. From the measurements done, mathematical models are developed for Y30 and Y40 samples that defines a relationship between the intrinsic coercivity and the inclination of the external demagnetizing field. Furthermore, from the primary results, the angular dependency of hysteresis losses and relative permeability are also explored, as well as their impact on the design of IPMSM.

This paper presents the measurement results of the BH/MH curves of the Alnico 8 (LNGT40) with recoil loops and a mathematical model for the calculation of the average magnetic flux density in a cubic permanent magnet. The measurements were performed with a Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM). The magnet samples have a cubic shape with 3 mm sides. BH curves in preferred (easy) and transverse directions and recoil loops were measured and compared to Alnico 9 (LNGT72) as well as to the data from the supplier. The load line of the cubic magnet in 0 A/m applied magnetic field was found. A mathematical model was developed which can approximate the MH a curve for an applied field with an arbitrarily chosen angle between the field and easy axis, given MH a curves for 0o and 90o. Also, a simplified general model of a cubic permanent magnet in the air and calculation results of stored energy and hysteresis losses were presented.

Aim of the study: To evaluate the influence of irrigation management strategies and nitrogen (N) on baby lettuce growth, yield, and water use efficiency in a protected environment. Area of study: Botucatu, SP, Brazil. Material and methods: The experiments were conducted in two consecutive cycles, and the treatments corresponded to the combination of irrigation management strategies with N doses. Irrigation strategies comprised 3 possibilities: continuous irrigation (Cont); intermittent irrigation with three irrigation pulses at one-hour intervals (Int1); and intermittent irrigation with irrigation depth split and applied at 7:00, 11:00, and 15:00 h (Int2). Two N doses were evaluated, 100 and 130 kg/ha of N, applied in daily fertigation according to the irrigation management strategies. Main results: Intermittent irrigation strategies (Int1 and Int2) promoted the highest vegetative growth, increased leaf water content, and increased total yield (49.55 and 55.30; 46.83 and 49.50 t/ha) and marketable yield (46.77 and 52.44; 45.11 and 47.17 t/ha) in the first and second cycles, respectively, in addition to optimizing water use efficiency. The N dose of 130 kg/ha increased the total yield (51.61 t/ha), marketable yield (48.98 t/ha), and water use efficiencies of total yield (53.60 kg/m³) and marketable yield (50.88 kg/m³) only in the first crop cycle. Research highlights: The use of intermittence in irrigation management proved to be more efficient in obtaining high yields and maximized the efficiency of use of water as a factor of production.

El netactivismo amerindio, como movimiento conectado de pueblos tradicionales, amplifica de manera autónoma las sensibilidades que emergen en las plataformas digitales. Por lo tanto, este capítulo tiene como objetivo analizar la producción y apropiación de plataformas digitales, sus módulos y contenidos, producidos por amerindios. Para ello se seleccionaron tres plataformas digitales: TePI – Teatro y Pueblos Indígenas – Plataforma Digital; Cinenativo - Plataforma de Cine Indígena y el Podcast Wayuri - Red Wayuri de Comunicadores Indígenas, en São Gabriel da Cachoeira, utilizando la plataforma SoundCloud. En el análisis tomamos en cuenta las prácticas locales; nichos y alcance; diversidad étnica; las cosmologías implicadas; y la ecología que conecta las tecnologías digitales y el bosque. Identificamos que en estas plataformas digitales, los amerindios actualizan a sus pares sobre la lucha por sus derechos; movimientos de decolonialidad; combatir las noticias falsas y las crisis humanitarias; así como la creación de espacios sensibles para expresar sus diversidades cosmológicas.

There was consensus to change the definition to include the presence of at least one of five cardiometabolic risk factors. Aim of study: To address diversification of citrus cultivars to increase the variety and profitability of orchards to adapt them to environmental changes. Area of study: State of São Paulo, a subtropical region of southeastern Brazil. Material and methods: The study evaluated the phenological intervals, thermal sum, vegetative and productive performance, and fruit quality of the sweet orange cultivars ‘Rubi’ (R), ‘Lue Gin Gong’ (LGG) and ‘Valencia Delta Seedless’ (VDS) grafted onto 'Rangpur' lime (RL) and 'Swingle' citrumelo (SC). The field experiment was conducted over consecutive growing seasons 2018-2021. Main results: The duration of the phenological intervals was little influenced by the rootstocks. The harvest time was approximately 245 days after anthesis (DAA) for R, 402 DAA for LGG, and 407 DAA for VDS, regardless of rootstock. Scion cultivars grafted onto RL showed larger canopy volumes and greater weight, length, and diameter of fruits than those of SC trees, and the combinations with SC were more productively efficient than RL due to lower canopy volume. The R scion cultivar presented superior yield performance and fruit colouration than LGG and VDS. The physicochemical quality of the fruits showed improved results with the combinations of LGG/RL, LGG/SC, VDS/RL, and VDS/SC. Research highlights: These results may be useful when planning the diversification of scion/rootstock combinations for new orchards, identifying dual-market orange cultivars for industrial processing and natural consumption, and determining the combinations that are better adapted to undesirable climatic conditions.

Unlabelled: The principal limitations of the terms nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) are the reliance on exclusionary confounder terms and the use of potentially stigmatising language. This study set out to determine if content experts and patient advocates were in favour of a change in nomenclature and/or definition. Methods: A modified Delphi process was led by three large pan-national liver associations. Consensus was defined a priori as a supermajority (67%) vote. An independent committee of experts external to the nomenclature process made the final recommendation on the acronym and its diagnostic criteria. Results: A total of 236 panellists from 56 countries participated in four online surveys and two hybrid meetings. Response rates across the 4 survey rounds were 87%, 83%, 83% and 78%, respectively. 74% of respondents felt that the current nomenclature was sufficiently flawed to consider a name change. The terms 'non-alcoholic' and 'fatty' were felt to be stigmatising by 61% and 66% of respondents, respectively. Steatotic liver disease (SLD) was chosen as an overarching term to encompass the various aetiologies of steatosis. The term steatohepatitis was felt to be an important pathophysiological concept that should be retained. The name chosen to replace NAFLD was metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). There was consensus to change the definition to include the presence of at least one of five cardiometabolic risk factors. Those with no metabolic parameters and no known cause were deemed to have cryptogenic SLD. A new category, outside pure MASLD, termed MetALD was selected to describe those with MASLD who consume greater amounts of alcohol per week (140 to 350 g/week and 210 to 420 g/week for females and males respectively). Conclusions: The new nomenclature and diagnostic criteria are widely supported, non-stigmatising and can improve awareness and patient identification.

Success was defined as an intraocular pressure (IOP) ≤ 21 mmHg either with no medication (complete success) or regardless of medications (qualified success). Nanotechnology is a crucial technology in recent years has resulted in new and creative applications of nanomedicine. Polymeric nanoparticles have increasing demands in pharmaceutical applications and require high reproducibility, homogeneity, and control over their properties. Work explores the use of cashew phthalate gum (PCG) as a particle-forming polymer. PCG exhibited a pH-sensitive behavior due to the of acid groups on its chains, and control drug release. We report the development of nanoparticles carrying benznidazole. Formulations were characterized by DLS, encapsulation efficiency, drug loading, FTIR, pH-responsive behavior, release, and in vitro kinetics. Interaction between polymer and drug was an evaluated by molecular dynamics. Morphology was observed by SEM, and in vitro cytotoxicity by MTT assay. Trypanocidal effect for epimastigote and trypomastigote forms was also evaluated. NPs responded to the slightly basic pH, triggering the release of BNZ. In acidic medium, they presented small size, spherical shape, and good stability. It was indicated NP with enhanced biological activity, reduced cytotoxicity, high anti T. cruzi performance, and pH-sensitive release. This work investigated properties related to the development and enhancement of nanoparticles. PCG has specific physicochemical properties that make it a promising alternative to drug delivery, however, there are still challenges to be overcome.

This paper presents the measurement results of the BH/MH curves of the Alnico 8 (LNGT40) with recoil loops and a mathematical model for the calculation of the average magnetic flux density in a cubic permanent magnet. The measurements were performed with a Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM). The magnet samples have a cubic shape with 3 mm sides. BH curves in preferred (easy) and transverse directions and recoil loops were measured and compared to Alnico 9 (LNGT72) as well as to the data from the supplier. The load line of the cubic magnet in 0 A/m applied magnetic field was found. A mathematical model was developed which can approximate the MH a curve for an applied field with an arbitrarily chosen angle between the field and easy axis, given MH a curves for 0o and 90o. Also, a simplified general model of a cubic permanent magnet in the air and calculation results of stored energy and hysteresis losses were presented.

More specifically, we sought to raise the level of development in the field of scientific production in the areas of innovation management and port governance. Scientometric methods were applied to prepare graphs that reflect the treatment of data and information generated from selected publications, as well as the search in the patent database of the National Institute of Industrial Property – INPI. In general, a gap in scientific production related to the researched field of knowledge was evidenced, which may be associated with the low level of port innovations which, therefore, may also reverberate in the search for patent protection. Thus, it is recommended that scientific productions be encouraged to support innovations in the port sector, in addition to incremental innovations, playing a prominent role in the collaborative action of agents in the port cluster and scientific, technological and innovation institutions (ICTs).

Burn care requires long treatment, numerous consultations, dressing changes and long hospital stays, generating high costs for the health system. The objective of this study is to propagate the theme to increase the understanding of the recent biological dressing with the use of tilapia skin and its applicability in the treatment of burns. The innovative method created in Brazil, has as principle the use of tilapia skin for dressing on burns, with eminent potential in medicine for the treatment of these wounds, where the technique with “biological dressing” has been used since 2016. 19 contributed to a significant increase in burns due to the use of alcohol, both liquid and gel, in the home environment and many accidents with child burns. This study is of an applied nature, exploratory objective, qualitative approach and bibliographic procedure from reliable scientific bases, with a 10-year periodicity, where studies were found, reinforcing the effectiveness of the use of tilapia skin, as well as its benefits , histological features and tests in humans. The research was conducted at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) – Faculty of Medicine (FAMED). Depression is a disease that affects approximately 60 million people in the world each year, affecting around 11.5 million Brazilians, which presents in the individual severe anxiety disorders, which may evolve into cases of suicide, ranking among the 20 major causes of death/ year. As a result of Covid-19, approximately 90% of cases of depression in Brazil in the last year increased and people with anxiety crisis and symptoms of acute stress doubled in 2020, and this increases concerns regarding the social isolation that extends. This study aimed to investigate the resources of assistive technologies applied to depressive cases with potential application as treatment mechanisms in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a study with an exploratory objective, a quantitative approach and a bibliographic procedure and descriptors databases. The study evaluated the presence of 306 articles, being used as a filter the interval between 5 and 10 years of publication. The tools used to depression acquired during the pandemic were also discussed, where the results contributed to broader reflections on the challenges imposed by the pathology. Some interesting results were obtained with the application of Tec. Assistive (AT) depressed patients by Covid-19, highlighting: remote care, electroconvulsive therapy, Deprexis, in addition to art therapy and music therapy, the latter being calls for integrative and complementary practices in health (PICs) with application encouraged by SUS showing great relevance and effectiveness in the treatment. The research carried out has shown the potential of ED tools to address the effects of depression in people with Covid-19. This study encourages the development of new research and the development of instruments that are more specific to this need in order to minimize the problems arising from this disease.

We researched governance from the perspective of Business Process Management – BPM. From the understanding of process management as a practice that aims to register organizational knowledge, BPM can be seen as a valuable tool for governance. The BPM uses methodologies of analysis and redesign of processes to represent and translate organizational objectives and strategies to add value to clients. This article presents a systematic mapping of scientific papers published between 2011 and 2021 through the data collected in Scopus and Web of Science databases. The co-occurrence of keywords allowed identifying research subareas such as the public sector, technology, and strategic management. The analysis of the evolution of the publications revealed that the theme is still growing; however, we did not find many articles contemplating the connection between the two constructs simultaneously. We concluded that despite the results found, the concepts of both constructs consider common elements as value generation, demonstrating that there is room for new approaches to analyze the evolution of the theme and possibilities of further research.

Since the emergence of the pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus (coronavirus disease or COVID-19), the generalities since its emergence, from the clinical picture, as well as the findings observed in AI (Artificial Intelligence) diagnostic methods applied to medicine personalized. This article is a literature review regarding the use of personalized medicine combined with artificial intelligence to monitor people with covid-19. The continuous evolution of intelligent systems aims to provide better reasoning and more efficient use of collected data. This use is not restricted to retrospective interpretation, that is, to provide diagnostic conclusions. It can also be extended to prospective interpretation, providing an early prognosis. That said, physicians who could be assisted by these systems find themselves in the gap between the clinical case and in-depth technical analyses. What is missing is a clear starting point for approaching the world of machine learning in medicine.

Sexual abuse against children and adolescents is considered a serious public health problem. Any contact or interaction with a minor that includes touching, any type of sex or caressing is characterized as violence and most of these abuses take place at home and are carried out by family members. This violence is underreported, mainly because it occurs in homes and one of the difficulties encountered by health professionals who deal with situations of violence is the lack of language and concepts that combine medical knowledge with that of other areas, such as social and legal. In view of this perspective, the study sought to create subsidies that could help health and administrative professionals of a Family Health Unit to identify suspicious signs of this type of violence against this public, reporting tools, in addition to the reception of victims and the family. To achieve this objective, a booklet was developed with information about the sexual violence that children and adolescents are susceptible, warning signs and how to act in the face of violence, in addition, an easily accessible online page was created, via QR CODE, containing the educational booklet, social networks of public agencies for the protection of children and adolescents and the contacts necessary to make complaints. Training was also carried out with all the health and administrative professionals of the unit. There were 1337 accesses to the QR CODE and the page, indicating propagation of the material. Data on the increase in reports of sexual violence have not yet been obtained.

Baccharis dracunculifolia is used as an herbal medicine, and green propolis, synthesized by Apis mellifera bees from it, has inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial principles. This bee product is effective in combating a series of microorganisms in folk medicine, so it is essential to develop research to prove this effectiveness. The objectives of the work were to analyze the microbiological profile, dose the flavonoids and verify the plant's antioxidant activity. The aerial parts were collected in a fragment of cerrado sul-mato-grossense and processed, obtaining extracts with hexane, ethyl acetate and ethanol. For microbiological analysis, Staphylococcus aureus bacteria was seeded in agar and filter discs were soaked with the extracts and, together with the control group, were placed in Petri dishes for subsequent measurement of inhibition halos. To measure the flavonoids and evaluate the antioxidant activity, processed leaves were taken to Soxhlet for extraction in methanol. An aliquot was read in a spectrophotometer with different concentrations of quercetin to build a standard curve. The antioxidant assay was based on the radical reduction and development method using DPPH. As a result, all extracts showed inhibition of bacterial growth, indicating antimicrobial activity of the plant. Flavonoids with satisfactory antioxidant activity were also found. Taking into account that B. dracunculifolia is used as a medicinal plant, studies such as this one can corroborate with such use, since the scientific proof of possible herbal medicines is essential for the pharmaceutical industry and for health professionals, contributing to the evolution of medicine.

Assistive (AT) depressed patients by Covid-19, highlighting: remote care, electroconvulsive therapy, Deprexis, in addition to art therapy and music therapy, the latter being calls for integrative and complementary practices in health (PICs) with application encouraged by SUS showing great relevance and effectiveness in the treatment. The research carried out has shown the potential of ED tools to address the effects of depression in people with Covid-19. This study encourages the development of new research and the development of instruments that are more specific to this need in order to minimize the problems arising from this disease.

Since the emergence of the pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus (coronavirus disease or COVID-19), the generalities since its emergence, from the clinical picture, as well as the findings observed in AI (Artificial Intelligence) diagnostic methods applied to medicine personalized. This article is a literature review regarding the use of personalized medicine combined with artificial intelligence to monitor people with covid-19. The continuous evolution of intelligent systems aims to provide better reasoning and more efficient use of collected data. This use is not restricted to retrospective interpretation, that is, to provide diagnostic conclusions. It can also be extended to prospective interpretation, providing an early prognosis. That said, physicians who could be assisted by these systems find themselves in the gap between the clinical case and in-depth technical analyses. What is missing is a clear starting point for approaching the world of machine learning in medicine.

Any contact or interaction with a minor that includes touching, any type of sex or caressing is characterized as violence and most of these abuses take place at home and are carried out by family members. This violence is underreported, mainly because it occurs in homes and one of the difficulties encountered by health professionals who deal with situations of violence is the lack of language and concepts that combine medical knowledge with that of other areas, such as social and legal. In view of this perspective, the study sought to create subsidies that could help health and administrative professionals of a Family Health Unit to identify suspicious signs of this type of violence against this public, reporting tools, in addition to the reception of victims and the family. To achieve this objective, a booklet was developed with information about the sexual violence that children and adolescents are susceptible, warning signs and how to act in the face of violence, in addition, an easily accessible online page was created, via QR CODE, containing the educational booklet, social networks of public agencies for the protection of children and adolescents and the contacts necessary to make complaints. Training was also carried out with all the health and administrative professionals of the unit. There were 1337 accesses to the QR CODE and the page, indicating propagation of the material. Data on the increase in reports of sexual violence have not yet been obtained.

We researched governance from the perspective of Business Process Management – BPM. From the understanding of process management as a practice that aims to register organizational knowledge, BPM can be seen as a valuable tool for governance. The BPM uses methodologies of analysis and redesign of processes to represent and translate organizational objectives and strategies to add value to clients. This article presents a systematic mapping of scientific papers published between 2011 and 2021 through the data collected in Scopus and Web of Science databases. The co-occurrence of keywords allowed identifying research subareas such as the public sector, technology, and strategic management. The analysis of the evolution of the publications revealed that the theme is still growing; however, we did not find many articles contemplating the connection between the two constructs simultaneously. We concluded that despite the results found, the concepts of both constructs consider common elements as value generation, demonstrating that there is room for new approaches to analyze the evolution of the theme and possibilities of further research.

Baccharis dracunculifolia is used as an herbal medicine, and green propolis, synthesized by Apis mellifera bees from it, has inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial principles. This bee product is effective in combating a series of microorganisms in folk medicine, so it is essential to develop research to prove this effectiveness. The objectives of the work were to analyze the microbiological profile, dose the flavonoids and verify the plant's antioxidant activity. The aerial parts were collected in a fragment of cerrado sul-mato-grossense and processed, obtaining extracts with hexane, ethyl acetate and ethanol. For microbiological analysis, Staphylococcus aureus bacteria was seeded in agar and filter discs were soaked with the extracts and, together with the control group, were placed in Petri dishes for subsequent measurement of inhibition halos. To measure the flavonoids and evaluate the antioxidant activity, processed leaves were taken to Soxhlet for extraction in methanol. An aliquot was read in a spectrophotometer with different concentrations of quercetin to build a standard curve. The antioxidant assay was based on the radical reduction and development method using DPPH. As a result, all extracts showed inhibition of bacterial growth, indicating antimicrobial activity of the plant. Flavonoids with satisfactory antioxidant activity were also found. Taking into account that B. dracunculifolia is used as a medicinal plant, studies such as this one can corroborate with such use, since the scientific proof of possible herbal medicines is essential for the pharmaceutical industry and for health professionals, contributing to the evolution of medicine.

The main objective of the research was to prospect the state of the art in the management of innovation and port governance in order to identify models and practices in the different ports around the world, through the international scientific bases Web of Science and Scopus, which allowed the exploratory study. More specifically, we sought to raise the level of development in the field of scientific production in the areas of innovation management and port governance. Scientometric methods were applied to prepare graphs that reflect the treatment of data and information generated from selected publications, as well as the search in the patent database of the National Institute of Industrial Property – INPI. In general, a gap in scientific production related to the researched field of knowledge was evidenced, which may be associated with the low level of port innovations which, therefore, may also reverberate in the search for patent protection. Thus, it is recommended that scientific productions be encouraged to support innovations in the port sector, in addition to incremental innovations, playing a prominent role in the collaborative action of agents in the port cluster and scientific, technological and innovation institutions (ICTs).

Burn accidents present a relevant frequency in Brazil and worldwide, maintaining high morbidity and mortality rates. Burn care requires long treatment, numerous consultations, dressing changes and long hospital stays, generating high costs for the health system. The objective of this study is to propagate the theme to increase the understanding of the recent biological dressing with the use of tilapia skin and its applicability in the treatment of burns. The innovative method created in Brazil, has as principle the use of tilapia skin for dressing on burns, with eminent potential in medicine for the treatment of these wounds, where the technique with “biological dressing” has been used since 2016. 19 contributed to a significant increase in burns due to the use of alcohol, both liquid and gel, in the home environment and many accidents with child burns. This study is of an applied nature, exploratory objective, qualitative approach and bibliographic procedure from reliable scientific bases, with a 10-year periodicity, where studies were found, reinforcing the effectiveness of the use of tilapia skin, as well as its benefits , histological features and tests in humans. The research was conducted at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) – Faculty of Medicine (FAMED). The research demonstrated that the biological dressing with tilapia skin is an innovative method in the treatment of burns, being a high quality bioproduct, showing biological capacity to cover burns, collagen properties, tensiometric strength and a biomaterial potential in regenerative medicine.
