- Abstract
New analyses of 20 samples indicate a more complex composition of the nuggets than previously thought. Besides Au, Pd and Cu, the elements Ag, As, Fe, Si and Hg have been observed. Ultramafic rocks containing small amounts of platinum group elements and Au can be considered as source rocks followed by serpentinisation, migration and accretional processes., New analyses of 20 samples indicate a more complex composition of the nuggets than previously thought.
