The study examines the information resources and infrastructure facilities in Nigeria's Agriculture University Libraries. Academic staffs from Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Obafemi Awolowo University and University of Ibadan are the respondents. The main objective of the study is to determine the usage of the information resources and facilities at Agriculture University Libraries in Nigeria in order to analyze the types of available information resources, and facilities, the level of usage, user. The researcher took 4.4 % of the entire respondent population= 1755= 78. so seventy eight(78) copies of the questionnaires were given to the respondents. Sixty one (61) copies of the various Agriculture University Libraries sampled were retrieved and analyzed, representing 78.21 %.. Key findings show that in the Agriculture University Libraries in Nigeria, the existing agricultural information tools and facilities available, accessible and used are inadequate. There was no access to adequate information resources for users because of the insufficient number of library employees. These findings suggest the need to formalize and improve relations between users and library staff in order to increase access to agricultural information and to formulate policies and regulatory structures for gender response. It is important to have policies that encourage inter-library loans, collaboration and knowledge sharing between Agriculture University Libraries and libraries of research institutes

Cancer is one of the deadly diseases that affect many people globally. This disease spreads to different parts of the body. So it becomes essential to predict the abnormal growth and the extent of their spread. The goal of this study is to look into the many strategies for cancer disease identification using gene expression data as well as the obstacles that come with them. For gene selection, the model comprises preprocessing of the micro array data of gene expression. Analyzing the characteristics of gene, provide a deep understanding about cancer disease classification. The use of machine learning approaches and statistical methods are used to identify abnormal genes or mutated genes that could be modeled efficiently. We propose a design for predictive gene selection using WALIFS algorithm and PSO-GSA algorithm is used for cancer disease identification. A comparative study with various classification algorithms is made to determine the most appropriate algorithm to classify the gene expression data for cancer. Hence this research work delivers uniqueness and predicts cancer disease using gene expression data with high accuracy.

So machining processes were introduced for close tolerance assembly and improve the product working efficiencies. At present, lot of machining processes are available for producing chemical equipments such as turning, milling, drilling and grinding etc.,. Milling operation is playing critical role on making the chemical equipment’s components with high accuracy and higher productivity. Face milling operation is one of the milling processes which is used for achieving higher flatness and surface finish of chemical equipment’s parts. Thiswork concentrates the parameters influence on Material Removal Rate (MRR) and Surface Roughness (SR) by using aluminium as work piece material. Actually, aluminium alloy has the most significant in chemical industries because of its inherent properties such as, corrosive resistance , low weight to strength ratio. The milling parameters such as feed rate, spindle speed  and depth of cut are selected as parameters for improving the quality and productivity. This work put together the link between input and response variables for developing the face milling performances. The Response Surface Methodology (RSM) is employ for making the link between dependent and independent variables. Building the empirical model by conducting regression analysis The performance of developed regression models are verified with experimental results. Verification results show the developed models have best agreement with experimental results. The developed models are used for achieving the best input parameters by using Genetic Algorithm (GA). Finally, the optimal parameters are evaluated by GA.

Problem statement: It is widely accepted thought that the weak promoters control the RNA synthesis and play regulatory role in complex genetic networks in bacterial system. An experiment had been designed to address whether mutations in the -16/-17 region affect the rate of transcription at an activator-independent promoter in E. coli or not? Approach: The aim of this study was to determine whether mutations in the -16/-17 region affect the rate of expression at an activator-dependent promoter in JM109 strain of E. coli. Primers were constructed to amplify the mutant promoter genes through PCR. The amplified PCR product was checked and then inserted into the MCS region of pAA128 plasmid. Further the plasmid vector was transformed into JM109 strain of E. coli and then cloned the selected transformats. Finally, the plasmid from each mutant colony was then sequenced using the protocol supplied with the Amersham Pharmacia Biotech T7 sequencing Kit. The JM109 cultures for which the sequences were determined, then assayed for β-galactosidase activity to assess the rate of gene expression from the altered promoters. Results: The present investigation revealed that the extended-10 promoter region has a substantial effect on the rate of transcription at weak promoter sequence and also bearing little resemblance to the consensus sequence recognized by RNA. The expression of the genetically engineered plasmid proved that the 2 bps (-16 and -17 base pair) found adjacently upstream of the extended-10 promoter have an effect on the level of transcription. This was achieved by site specific base substitutions into the weak promoter of a modified lac operon lacking any activator or repressor binding sites. The results from gene expression assays of several mutants showed a distinct preference for either GG or TT located adjacently upstream of the extended promoter element.
