Prostredie Matlab ponúka rad vedeckých a inžinierskych prostriedkov (nazývaných Toolboxy). Jedným s týchto prostriedkov je Robust Control Toolbox (RCT), ktorý ponúka množstvo prostriedkov pre robustnú analýzu a návrh riadenia. Cieľom práce je vysvetlenie pojmov, vytvorenie príkladov pre aplikačné použitie toolboxu pre návrh MIMO systémov. Práca vysvetľuje teoretické aspekty používané v toolboxe a pri robustnej analýze s dôrazom na použitie ?-funkcie. Teoretická časť obsahuje popis MIMO spojitých systémov, požiadavky pre riadenie MIMO, pojem robustnosti a ?-funkcie. Praktická časť popisuje opis prostredia RCT, simulačné príklady spojené s RCT a sprievodcu s príkladmi pre študijné účely., Matlab environment offers a range of scientific and engineering resources (called toolboxes). In response to the water-related risks posed by climate change, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, (USACE) has embarked on a comprehensive approach that is flexible enough to incorporate new knowledge and changing conditions. Adequately incorporating potential sea level change (SLC) into the planning and engineering process will improve the resilience of project systems and will maximize sustainability over time. The USACE goal is to develop practical, nationally consistent, legally justifiable, and cost-effective measures, both structural and nonstructural, to reduce vulnerabilities and improve the resilience of our water resources infrastructure. Analytical perspectives will be developed to determine the appropriate investments in maintenance, operations improvements, reallocation, major rehabilitation, and new construction. A tiered analysis is recommended for the assessment of SLC impacts on Corp projects. Inherent in this approach is the understanding that decision points exist after each analysis tier that allow engineers to reassess the required data and analysis. The three primary tiers are as follows: (1) establishing a strategic decision context, (2) determining project area exposure and vulnerability, and (3) developing and evaluating alternatives for addressing SLC at the project site. What is being assessed at the strategic decision level is whether there is potential for significant or catastrophic consequences to human lives, property, critical infrastructure, and ecosystems. The second tier of the screening process determines project area exposure and vulnerability by looking at three categories: project area characterization, capacity/resilience, and loading/processes. The third tier addresses project alternative development and evaluation under SLC. The Corps' most recent update to sea level change guidance was in 2011 in the form of an Engineering Circular, EC 1165-2-212, Incorporating Sea-Level Change Considerations in Civil Works Programs.

This thesis focuses on analyzing factors that affect a student's time to train (TTT) as he/she completes the Joint Strike Fighters (JSF) pilot training syllabus at the Integrated Training Center (ITC) on Eglin Air Force Base. It identifies the most robust course of action (COA), provides accurate TTT estimates, and identifies a watch list of factors that have the most effect on TTT. The results of this thesis provide a basis and a justification for procurement and resource decisions for the JSF. They also provide a means to ensure a proper flow of pilots to operational commands, reduce unnecessary flights, and enable the ITC to complete its mission while remaining within monthly flight time and airframe limits. It can also help predict the impact of future resource decisions, and assist commanders in mitigating their operational effect. The primary recommendation for reducing TTT is to have students work 11 hours per day and have the workday start at or after 0900. Increasing the number of full motion simulator (FMS), while reducing TTT, is not justified. Although a limited resource, airspace is not a potential bottleneck in the system and any change, short of elimination, has very little influence on TTT. Flight refly rates and aircraft failure rates above 12% and 13% respectively significantly increase TTT and must be carefully monitored., The original document contains color images.

This paper uses quadratic surface Lyapunov functions to efficiently check if a double integrator in feedback with a saturation nonlinearity has L2-gain less than gamma > 0. We show that for many of such systems, the L2-gain is non-conservative in the sense that they are approximately equal to the low erbound obtained by replacing the saturation with a constant gain of 1. These results allow the use of classical analysis tools like mu -analysis or IQCs to analyze systems with double integrators and saturations, including servo systems like some mechanical systems, satellites, hard-disks, CD players, etc.

© SGEM2018. Since the global information networks are well developing and the amount of information is rapidly increasing, an automatization of the analytical data processing has become more urgent. In their combination a solid basis for the improvement of management and operation packages in any field of activity arises. It should be noted the initial assumptions of the regression analysis are always observed. However, discovering that the preconditions are violated is not sufficient. A specific software package containing particular measures that come into force under these conditions are required. Thus, for the effective use of adaptive regression modeling approach (ARM) one should the apply a particular software package to automate the process of taking observations, analyze the quality of the models produced and analyze the compliance with the assumptions of regression analysis using the ordinary least squares method (LSM), as well as implement the appropriate procedures to adapt. The purpose of this study is to improve the performance of the computational modeling process by automating the search for the optimal set of regressors, and analyze it. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to solve a number of problems: 1) Development of the software package "Interactive Automated System for Optimal Regressions Modeling" (IASORM) based on connecting library quality analysis model with the compliance status of assumptions; 2) Implementation of the algorithm scenario of automatic data processing with the functional connection of libraries. The software package IASORM is a specialized system that implements the strategy of regression modeling. Automated script processing can improve the effectiveness of the existing methods of the package.
