Presentació dins la Setmana Internacional de l'Accés Obert 2021, on es va tractar el marc ideològic i tecnològic en el què s'enquadren les revistes digitals de la UAB, un servei centrat en l'edició de continguts acadèmics en accés obert. També s'explica en què consisteix el servei, quines eines s'utilitzen i quines condicions calen per poder-s'hi acollir.

[ES] Se identifican 50 plataformas editoriales de revistas electrónicas de las universidades españolas y el Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC). Se aportan datos cuantitativos sobre el número de revistas publicadas, su antigüedad y vigencia, disciplinas cubiertas, número de artículos editados en 2019, tipos de revistas por tamaño, porcentaje de textos en inglés, número de casos de coedición, presencia en los índices de citas Web of Science y Scopus, así como cantidad de revistas que han obtenido el Sello de calidad de la Fecyt. La producción editorial de las universidades españolas y el CSIC se dispersa en numerosos títulos con un escaso número de artículos, problema acrecentado por la continua aparición de nuevas revistas. Quantitative data are provided on the number of journals published, their life and upgrade, disciplines covered, number of articles edited in 2019, types of journals by size, percentage of texts in English, number of co-edition cases, indexation in Web of Science and Scopus databases, as well as the number of journals that have obtained the Fecyt Quality seal. I 2016 påviste Open Access indikatoren et uudnyttet potentiale på ca. 60%. Projektet Grøn Open Access i praksis har derfor taget udgangspunkt i spørgsmålet – Hvorfor er der ikke mere Open Access indhold og hvad er det for praktiske udfordringer bibliotekerne støder på. Forskningsregistreringsteams støder på udfordringer som vanskeliggør institutionernes muligheder for at nå de nationale OA-mål. Hvad kan vi sammen som biblioteker gøre ved disse udfordringer, og hvad kan vi få forlagene til at gøre for at understøtte grøn Open Access. Projektet har arbejdet med udfordringerne indenfor 6 temaer: Embargo, Tilladte Open Access Versioner, Forlagenes praksis, Forskernes arbejdsprocesser, Rettigheder og licenser, Systemunderstøttelse. Indenfor alle temaer har projektet dokumenteret, analyseret og drøftet en lang række udfordringer i forhold til implementeringen af grøn Open Access i praksis. Projektet håber, at de identificerede udfordringer kan være med til at nuancere dialogen og vidensniveauet omkring den praktiske håndtering af grøn Open Access og at resultaterne kan anvendes i diverse forums arbejde med implementering af den danske grønne Open Access strategi.

Purpose. Problem of representation lack of scientists’ publications, including transport scientists, in the international scientometric databases is the urgent one for Ukrainian science. To solve the problem one should study the structure and quality of the information flow of scientific periodicals of railway universities in Ukraine and to determine the integration algorithm of scientific publications of Ukrainian scientists into the world scientific information space. Methodology. Applying the methods of scientific analysis, synthesis, analogy, comparison and prediction the author has investigated the problem of scientific knowledge distribution using formal communications. The readiness of Ukrainian railway periodicals to registration procedure in the international scientometric systems was analyzed. The level of representation of articles and authors of Ukrainian railway universities in scientometric database Scopus was studied. Findings. Monitoring of the portals of railway industry universities of Ukraine and the sites of their scientific periodicals and analysis of obtained data prove insufficient readiness of most scientific publications for submission to scientometric database. The ways providing sufficient "visibility" of industry periodicals of Ukrainian universities in the global scientific information space were proposed. Originality. The structure and quality of documentary flow of scientific periodicals in railway transport universities of Ukraine and its reflection in scientometric DB Scopus were first investigated. The basic directions of university activities to integrate the results of transport scientists research into the global scientific digital environment were outlined. Purpose. Scientific journals in open access play an important role in scientific communications. It is they are able to provide an operational studying the leading publications and their scientific substantiation in the form of reference to the works of authors that were used in the research. The achievement of high citation index is an important component of scientific activity for the modern scientist. The purpose of the article is to determine the tools to increase the citation index of scientists. Methodology. The methods of generalization, analysis and synthesis, as well as a systematic approach were used in the research. Findings. The university library has an important mission - to distribute the results of research activity of the university scientists. As part of this functional activity area of the scientific and technical library of DNURT a repository of scientific papers, a system of open access for scientific journals and online versions of proceedings were organized. These resources provide the opportunity for a wide range of scientists to study the results of research carried out by their colleagues in DNURT and to cite them in their own articles. During the scientometric research the library staff use the following information platforms: Google Scholar, SciVerse Scopus, DOAJ, Russian Science Citation Index, SCImago Journal & Country Rank. Originality. The work originality is the determination of the ways to influence the formation of the high citation index for scientist. Practical value. OJS is a technological tool used worldwide, which facilitates many of the tasks involved in editorial management processes of academic journals. Among the strategies employed include the organization of workshops for editors interested in using OJS, the generation of support material and personalized attention to the users of this platform. The adoption of such tools by the journal's editors in the ULA has been growing, but still slow. So far have been implemented 17 journals using OJS, of which 8 are administered directly by its editors, even though most of them do not use all the possibilities for the editorial management offered by the tool, using it mainly just for the electronic publication of the contents. The SaberULA staff is responsible for publishing the contents of the 9 remaining journals. To advance in the adoption of such technological tools, the institution should encourage the journals editors in various ways, including the generation and application of policies related to open access to the institution intellectual production., El presente artículo describe las estrategias que están siendo aplicadas para lograr la adopción de la plataforma Open Journal Systems (OJS) como herramienta de gestión editorial de las revistas de la Universidad de Los Andes (ULA). Cet essai a comme objectif de rendre compte d’un stage centré sur une expérience de transfert des connaissances au sein de l’Observatoire Jeunes et Société (OJS) dans le cadre de la maîtrise en Pratiques de recherche et action publique du Centre Urbanisation, Culture et Société (UCS) de l’Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS). La description du stage est précédée d’une mise en contexte de la signification du transfert des connaissances dans la société actuelle accompagnée des définitions préalables et nécessaires à l’élaboration du projet. La première partie du stage consistait à assurer diverses tâches liées aux besoins de coordination de l’OJS, tandis que la seconde se voulait plus près de la démarche scientifique par l’élaboration d’une étude de cas. Celle-ci porte sur la façon dont s’est réalisé le transfert des connaissances dans la mise en oeuvre du projet de recherche d’une Alliance de recherche universités-communautés (ARUC) sous le thème de l’insertion et de la participation des jeunes en région. Une réflexion sur mon rôle de stagiaire à l’OJS, et plus largement sur celui de l’agent d’interface dans le contexte actuel de la recherche, vient clore cet essai.

[EN] In this article we analyze the online visibility and content usage of two Americanist Journals published by CSIC, Revista de Indias and Anuario de Estudios Americanos. The online edition dates back to 2007; contents are comparable in terms of accessible documents, and both Journals are published in Open Access, with a 6-months embargo. We also discuss some methodological issues in terms of the need of a data normalization allowing the measurement of genuine downloads assimilable to document reading. Both Journals registered close to 500,000 normalized downloads along 2008 and 2009, most coming from Latin America and the United States (70%). Data show a high degree of repeated downloads of the same document from the same user (25% of total downloads) and indexation downloads (25% of normalized downloads), and also the lack of correlation between Journal’s visibility (webpage visits) and content usage (document downloads). Access restriction has a negative effect, as evidenced by the low downloading of embargoed documents, [ES] En este artículo analizamos los datos de visibilidad y uso de las dos revistas de temática americanista editadas por el CSIC, Revista de Indias y Anuario de Estudios Americanos. La edición electrónica de ambas data de 2007, y su contenido en artículos accesibles es comparable; ambas se publican en Acceso Abierto (OA) con un embargo de acceso de 6 meses. También analizamos cuestiones metodológicas relativas al análisis de descargas, en el sentido de la necesidad de una normalización de los datos que permita determinar las descargas reales, asimilables a una lectura del documento. Durante los años 2008 y 2009, ambas revistas han recibido cerca de 500.000 descargas normalizadas, que provienen en su mayoría de Latinoamérica y Estados Unidos (70%). Los datos muestran el elevado número de descargas repetidas de documentos en periodos cortos de tiempo por el mismo usuario (25% de las totales registradas) y de descargas de indización (25% de las descargas normalizadas), y también la falta de correlación entre visibilidad de las revistas (visitas a páginas web) y uso de los contenidos (descarga de documentos). This set of characters was published in Unicode Standard version 5.2 in October 2009. The characters were added to support Algonquian communities (Cree, Moose Cree, and Ojibway) and Dene communities (Hare Dene, Beaver Dene, Chipewyan, and Carrier).
