This research describes the validity of learning materials consisting of the syllabus, lesson plans, handouts, student worksheets, assessment of creative thinking skills, and concept mastery. The method is a modified research and development method, and this research is only limited to the validity of the learning materials. The developed learning materials were tested on 18 grade ten of Senior High School students. The data collection was carried out using the validation methods, and data analysis was carried out quantitatively. The validation results by three validators concluded that the syllabus obtained an average score of 3.81 with a completely valid category, lesson plan obtained an average score of 3.87 with a completely vali category. Meanwhile, handouts obtained an average score of 3.78 with a completely valid category, student worksheets obtained an average score of 3.88 with a completely valid category, assessment of creative thinking obtained an average score of 3.83 with a completely valid category, and assessment of concept mastery obtained an average score of 3.77 with a completely valid category. So that the learning materials developed is declared valid.

This article about scientific puppets aims to explain or describe the concept of a scientific puppet, how to make a scientific puppet, as well as the implementation and implications of puppet art as a medium of learning physics. In this case, the scientific puppet can be a learning medium for the knowledge of the history of physics scientists to students and students. The preparation of this article uses the type of descriptive qualitative research because as an interpretation and description of the concept of cultural acculturation used for learning physics, the implementation of scientific puppets as a method of learning physics. In this article produces a discussion of the concept of a scientific puppet, a puppet that presents a scientist with an actual picture of the scientist but is shaped in such a way that it is shaped like a puppet. The argumentation ability plays an important role in the support of life skills required in the 21st century, but it has been recently found that this ability among students remains at a low level. This situation has asked for intervention to make the necessary skills improved. Thus, this study aims to examine students’ argumentation skills in written and oral senses by implementing the 5E Learning Cycle in a classroom setting and to analyze the effects of the implementation on ability the skills. The design of this study was pre-experimental research using one group pretest-posttest method. The learning materials used during the study were syllabus, lesson plans, handouts, worksheets, and exercises. Meanwhile, the ability of scientific argumentation skills was evaluated and assessed using pretest-posttest given and interviews in the form of descriptive questions and the corresponding guidelines. The results of the study are here reported as three separate findings. Firstly, the application of the 5E Learning Cycle in science learning allowed the students to practice their scientific argumentation skills. Secondly, direct observations found that most activities were well performed during classroom learning. Thirdly, group discussions in the 5E Learning Cycle have a good contribution to the students' scientific argumentation skills.

The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive. The results of the study showed: (1) The validity of the learning materials was declared to be very valid by the validator, (2) The practicality of the materials developed was declared practical by the observer in terms of aspects of the device's implementation and student activities in learning which were categorized very well, and (3) the effectiveness of the learning materials being developed was declared effective in terms of the application of the materials which had an impact on reducing students' misconceptions which initially amounted to 57.33% down to 17.33%.
