- Abstract
This work is focused on the cultural tradition of storytelling of the Apurinãs from the village Severino/Tefé-AM. This is a culture endowed with experiences and teachings by those who practice it, which leads to learning about other worldviews. The proposed theme arose from the desire to make visible the Apurinã indigenous culture, a people of memories, of cultural identity. We aimed to analyze oral history telling in Severino village, a culture that provides dialogues for the construction of identities and ethnic affirmation. Authors such as Munduruku (2016), Gonçalves (2009), among others, support this work. The storytelling practiced by the elders of the aforementioned village is a tradition that links them to their origin, which brings aspects of their local culture to the village., Este trabalho é voltado para a tradição da contação de histórias dos/as Apurinã da Aldeia Severino/Tefé, no estado do Amazonas, uma cultura dotada de experiências e ensinamentos por aqueles/as que a praticam, que leva ao aprendizado sobre outras visões de mundo. O tema proposto surgiu do desejo de visibilizar a cultura indígena Apurinã, suas memórias e identidade. A amostragem apresentada no decorrer do trabalho é reduzida a quatro narradores/as, os quais contam histórias e estavam presentes na aldeia, aceitando colaborar com este estudo. Munduruku (2016), Gonçalves (2009), dentre outros, embasam este trabalho. 4. Of Trees and Women: Ecofeminist Memoirs by Wangari Maathai and Vandana Shiva
- Abstract
[Abstract] This master’s thesis analyses the memoirs of two prominent ecofeminist writers-activists, Wangari Maathai and Vandana Shiva, to demonstrate the connections between the form, content, and message of their narratives. Unbowed (2006) and Terra Viva (2022), Maathai’s and Shiva’s memoirs respectively, are used to explore the connections between their personal experiences and broader social and environmental issues such as sustainability, social justice, and gender equality. The power of memoirs to connect people from all walks of life and provide insight into human experience is discussed in this thesis, with a focus on how ecofeminist memoirs contribute to the larger narrative of fostering social and environmental justice. First, I examine the memoir genre as a whole, focusing on the main characteristics in terms of form and content, where the works of Isabel Durán Giménez-Rico and Julie Rak throw light on the topic in question. Secondly, I propose a dialogue between Maathai’s and Shiva’s memoirs and examine the authors’ contributions to the ecofeminist movement, emphasizing how their personal experiences have shaped their ecofeminist activism through the form, content, and message of their memoirs. In doing so, I employ the works of Maria Mies, Karen Warren, and Greta Gaard, among others, as my ecofeminist theoretical frame. Besides, this essay also highlights the emergence of a new genre: the ecofeminist memoir, which combines personal storytelling with environmental and social justice activism. I conclude by emphasizing the importance of memoirs in breaking down the barriers that separate people and fostering social cohesion.

6. O balão, o serrote e o indivíduo: cosmopolítica do memorialismo modernista
- Abstract
This article presents the first results of a wider research on a new investigative front regarding the modernist memoirs from Minas Gerais. Its goal is to test the possibilities, extents and limits to which it can be considered, sociologically, as a reflexive experience of the individual’s figuration, the social processes of subjectification and the conflict between individual and society. We’ll focus on the autobiographical writings of two leading protagonists of this social and literary practice: Balão cativo(1973), by Pedro Nava, and A idade do serrote (1968), by Murilo Mendes. Before our conclusion, we also make an intermediate consideration about Menino sem passado(1936-1948), by Silviano Santiago (2021), as a radical anachronistic rewriting dispositive of those two books, which plays, theoretically and fictionally, with the modes, directions and intensities of the differentiation between lines of action/individualization and the tensions between them., Este artigo apresenta os primeiros resultados de pesquisa mais ampla que propõe uma nova frente de investigação do memorialismo modernista mineiro e busca testar as possibilidades, alcances e limites de tratá-lo, sociologicamente, como uma experiência reflexiva da figuração do indivíduo, dos processos sociais de subjetivação e do conflito entre indivíduo e sociedade. Aqui nos concentraremos nas escritas autobiográficas de dois protagonistas centrais dessa prática literária e social: Balão cativo (1973), de Pedro Nava, e A idade do serrote (1968), de Murilo Mendes. Antes de concluir, fazemos ainda uma consideração intermediária sobre Menino sem passado (1936-1948), de Silviano Santiago (2021), como um dispositivo anacrônico de reescrita radical dos dois livros citados, que joga, teórica e ficcionalmente, com os modos, direções e intensidades de diferenciação de linhas de ação/individualização e com as relações de tensão entre elas.

7. George Sand et les Baléares: d’un amour contrarié à l’invention d’un imaginaire littéraire touristique
- Abstract
George Sand and Frédéric Chopin’s trip to the Balearic Islands at the end of the 1830s had all the makings of a missed opportunity. It marked the beginning of a thwarted relationship between France and the archipelago that owed much to the account that George Sand made of it a few years later. As the starting point of a literary and media construction, her writings on the island were quickly taken up by the press, contributing to shaping the image of the archipelago for the French. This media coverage reveals multiple issues, which have as much to do with the invention of a tourist imagination as with the vision that France nourishes of neighbouring Spain and its literary crystallisation. It was only years later, at the end of the century, that the image forged by the Sandian narrative was slowly reversed and that the island of Mallorca, which had become a tourist destination, happily exploited the aura given by the two lovers’ visit—no doubt against their will., Le voyage qu’entament George Sand et Frédéric Chopin aux Baléares, à la fin des années 1830, a tout d’un rendez-vous manqué. Il signe les débuts d’une histoire contrariée entre la France et l’archipel qui doit beaucoup au récit qu’en fait George Sand quelques années plus tard. Point de départ d’une construction littéraire et médiatique, ses écrits sur l’île sont vite repris par la presse, contribuant à modeler l’image de l’archipel à l’usage des Français. Cette médiatisation révèle des enjeux multiples, qui tiennent tant à l’invention d’un imaginaire touristique qu’à la vision que la France nourrit de l’Espagne voisine et à sa cristallisation littéraire. Ce n’est que des années plus tard, à la fin du siècle, que l’image qu’en avait forgée le récit sandien s’inverse lentement et que l’île de Majorque, devenue destination touristique, exploite avec bonheur l’aura que le séjour des deux amants lui a laissée, bien malgré eux sans doute., El viaje de George Sand y Frédéric Chopin a las Islas Baleares a finales de la década de 1830 podría ser el de un desencuentro. Marcó el inicio de una relación frustrada entre Francia y el archipiélago que debe mucho al relato que George Sand publica unos años más tarde. Sus escritos sobre la isla fueron el punto de partida de una construcción literaria y mediática que inspiró rápidamente a la prensa, contribuyendo a configurar la imagen del archipiélago para los franceses. Esta mediatización pone de realce múltiples cuestiones, que tienen tanto que ver con la invención de un imaginario turístico como con la visión que Francia tiene de la vecina España y su cristalización literaria. Solo años más tarde, a finales de siglo, la imagen forjada por la narrativa sandiana se fue invirtiendo lentamente y la isla de Mallorca, convertida en destino turístico, explotó felizmente el aura que la estancia de los dos amantes había dejado, a su pesar sin duda.

8. Marginalidad y prostitución. Escritura abolicionista en Carlota O’Neill (1905-2000)
- Abstract
Carlota O’Neill de Lamo (1905-2000) va ser una dona polivalent, com la majoria de les modernes: escriptora, periodista, dramaturga, empresària, productora de televisió i de radio, activista..., una trajectòria professional que encara a hores d’ara es desconeix a causa del seu empresonament i el seu exili. Moltes de les seves posicions ideològiques les transmet a la seva producció. Va ser pionera del teatre proletari a Espanya, i el tema escollit per la seva primera obra va ser la situació de les treballadores. A tota la seva producció memorialista —que no es resumeix sols a Una mexicana en la guerra de España (1964)— mostra un interès especial per la marginalitat i els baixos fons. Des de la seva primera obra de teatre, Al rojo, de 1933, passant per les seves memòries i altres obres inèdites, la prostitució és un dels temes essencials. D’aquesta manera, busquem indicis en la seva obra per respondre a la següent pregunta: Era Carlota O’Neill abolicionista?, Carlota O’Neill de Lamo (1905-2000) was a versatile woman, like most modern women: writer, journalist, playwright, businesswoman, television and radio producer, activist... a professional career that is still unknown today, due to her imprisonment and exile. Many of her ideological positions are transmitted in her production. She was a pioneer of proletarian theater in Spain, and the theme chosen for her first play was the situation of women workers. In all her memoirs—which are not limited only to Trapped in Spain (1964)— she shows special interest in marginality and the slums. From her first play, Al rojo, in 1933, through her memoirs and other unpublished works, prostitution is one of the essential elements. Consequently, we have searched for clues in her work to answer the following question: Was Carlota O’Neill an abolitionist?, Carlota O’Neill de Lamo (1905-2000) fue una mujer polivalente, como la mayoría de las modernas: escritora, periodista, dramaturga, empresaria, productora de televisión y de radio, activista…, una trayectoria profesional que se desconoce aún hoy en día debido a su encarcelamiento y a su exilio. Muchas de sus posiciones ideológicas las transmite en su producción. Fue pionera del teatro proletario en España, y el tema escogido para su primera obra fue la situación de las trabajadoras. En toda su producción memorialística —que no se resume únicamente a Una mexicana en la guerra de España (1964)— muestra especial interés por la marginalidad y los bajos fondos. Desde su primera obra de teatro, Al rojo, de 1933, pasando por sus memorias y otras obras inéditas, la prostitución es uno de los elementos esenciales. De este modo, buscamos indicios en su obra para contestar a la siguiente pregunta: ¿Era Carlota O’Neill abolicionista?

11. Rodinná paměť v 19. století. Funkce a obsah rodinné paměti v prostředí českých středních vrstev v letech 1800 - 1914
- Abstract
Tato disertační práce se zabývá rodinnou pamětí v 19. století. Vlastní analýze memoárové literatury předchází seznámení s dosavadním výzkumem a konceptuálními a metodologickými východisky. Vzhledem k šíři vytyčeného tématu stanovuje mantinely výzkumu, které umožňují pracovat s porovnatelným vzorkem pamětí. Nezbytnou součástí výzkumu bylo zahrnutí historického, společenského a literárního kontextu. Kvůli povaze zvolené pramenné základny práce představuje stručnou charakteristiku zvolených rodin a jejich memoárů, která umožňuje lepší orientaci v následné analytické části. Ta se již zabývá vlastním vyhodnocením a rozborem stěžejních témat a funkcí rodinné paměti včetně prostředků a strategií autorů. Zohledňuje jak politický a socio-kulturní kontext s využitím dobové literatury, tak specifické motivace rodin i jednotlivců, kteří rodinnou historii zmapovali., This dissertation is concerned with family memory in the 19th century. The main analysis of the memoir literature is preceeded by an introduction to the existing research and the conceptual and methodological background. Considering the width of the topic, it establishes the boundaries of the research that allow working with a comparable sample of memoirs. The inclusion of historical, social and literary context was an essential part of the research. Due to the character of the chosen source base, the thesis presents a brief introduction to the selected families and their memoirs, which enables a better orientation in the subsequent analytical part. This part already deals with the actual evaluation and analysis of the central themes and functions of family memoirs, including the authors' methods and strategies. - Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na pardubickou ženskou věznici, tak, jak je zobrazena v literárních textech. Vedle toho jí také představuje jako místo paměti. Pozornost je věnována jak dopisovému materiálu, tak memoárové literatuře. V práci jsou rozebírány jednotlivé aspekty každodenního života v této věznici. Práce se konkretizuje na literární texty politických vězeňkyň z období vlády komunistického režimu., The bachelor thesis focuses on the Pardubice Women's Prison as depicted in literary texts. In addition, it also presents it as a place of memory. Attention is paid to both the letter material and the memoir literature. Various aspects of everyday life in this prison are discussed. 14. Memorialística e historiografia: a narrativa de um médico judeu-húngaro sobrevivente de Auschwitz
- Abstract
Objective: The article discusses the potential of memorialistics as a producer of historiographical texts, although distinguishing it from the concept of memory used by historians. Methodology: We define memorialistics from a literary criticism approach, understanding the text as a testimonial narrative written by those who participated directly in the reported events. The method employed was, firstly, the internal criticism of sources proposed by Historicism and refined by Marc Bloch in Apologia da História and, secondly, the method proposed by Lawrence Bardin in Content Analysis, which allows the segmentation of the text from key ideas at the discretion of the investigator. Originality: It lies, firstly, in the discussion of the status of memorialistics in the field of historiography and, secondly, in the choice of an author who has been little worked on by Holocaust scholars, such as Primo Levi or Elias Wiesel (although we have sought the opinion of Levi about Nyiszli). Conclusions: We submitted the book to internal criticism, considering the role played by the memorialist in the medical service of Birkenau in 1944. We demonstrate the ambiguity of the text, mirror of an ambivalent man, prisoner of the Nazis and also an ss’ assistant. We conclude, finally, that although the description of procedures prevails, as well as the tone, sometimes moralizing, the book proves the value of memorialistics, not as an explanatory historical text, necessarily, but as a very rich source of information about the Holocaust, generally absent from the documentation of the III Reich, which the state bureaucracy destroyed before the final defeat., Objetivo: o artigo discute a potencialidade da memorialística como produtora de textos historiográficos, embora a distinga do conceito de memória utilizado por historiadores. Como fonte específica do trabalho, escolhemos o livro do húngaro Miklós Nyiszli sobre a sua experiência como membro do corpo médico de Auschwitz em 1944. Metodologia: definimos memorialística a partir de uma abordagem de crítica literária, entendendo o texto como narrativa testemunhal escrita por quem participou diretamente dos eventos relatados. O método empregado foi, em primeiro lugar, a crítica interna de fontes proposta pelo historicismo e aprimorada por Marc Bloch em Apologia da História e, em segundo lugar, o método proposto por Lawrence Bardin em Análise de Conteúdo, que permite a segmentação do texto a partir de ideias-chave a critério do investigador. Originalidade: reside, em primeiro lugar, na discussão do status da memorialística no campo da historiografia e, em segundo lugar, na escolha de autor pouco trabalhado pelos estudiosos do Holocausto, como Primo Levi ou Elias Wiesel (embora tenhamos buscado a opinião de Levi sobre Nyiszli). Conclusões: submetemos o livro a uma crítica interna, considerando o papel desempenhado pelo memorialista no serviço médico de Birkenau em 1944. Demonstramos a ambigüidade do texto, espelho de um homem ambivalente, prisioneiro do Nazis e também assistente da ss. Concluímos, enfim, que apesar de prevalecer a descrição de procedimentos, bem como do tom por vezes moralizante, o livro comprova o valor da memorialística, não necessariamente como texto histórico explicativo, senão como manancial riquíssimo de informações sobre o Holocausto, em geral ausentes da documentação do III Reich, que a burocracia estatal destruiu antes da derrota final na guerra., Objetivo: en el artículo discutimos el potencial de la memorialística como productora de textos historiográficos, aunque distinguiéndola del concepto de memoria utilizado por los historiadores. Metodología: definimos memorialística desde un enfoque de la crítica literaria, entendiendo el texto como una narración testimonial escrita por quienes participaron directamente en los hechos relatados. El método que empleamos fue, en primer lugar, la crítica interna de las fuentes propuestas por el historicismo y profundizadas por Marc Bloch en Apología de la Historia y, en segundo lugar, el método propuesto por Lawrence Bardin, en su Análisis de Contenido, que nos permite segmentar el texto a partir de ideas-clave en la discreción del investigador. Originalidad: en el artículo, en primer lugar, discutimos sobre el estatus de la memorialística en el campo de la historiografía y, en segundo lugar, la elección de un autor menos analizado por los estudiosos del Holocausto, como Primo Levi o Elias Wiesel (aunque hemos buscado la opinión de Levi sobre Nyiszli). Conclusiones: sometimos el libro a la crítica interna, considerando el papel desempeñado por el memorialista en el servicio médico de Birkenau en 1944. Demostramos la ambigüedad del texto, espejo de un hombre ambivalente, prisionero de los nazis y también asistente de las Schutzstaffel (ss). Concluimos, finalmente que, a pesar de predominar la descripción de los procedimientos, así como del tono a veces moralizante, el libro demuestra el valor de la memorialística, no necesariamente como un texto histórico explicativo, sino como una fuente muy rica de información sobre el Holocausto, en general ausente de la documentación del III Reich, que la burocracia estatal destruyó antes de la derrota final en la guerra.

15. Memórias de gestores escolares em municípios do norte do Rio Grande do Sul
- Abstract
The aim of this article is to understand school management through the memories of school managers in the municipalities of Selbach and Nova Boa Vista, located in the north of Rio Grande do Sul/RS, Brazil. It articulates School Management and History of Education in the theoretical-methodological framework, uses oral sources and debates the use of oral memories as an investigative concept. The history of German immigration and colonization in RS is in the genesis of the studied municipalities. The memories provided a vision of the school's daily life, its spaces and its times. They evidenced a history and experiences about school management, highlighting: school conceptions; relationship of managers with the city and the school community; concern and factors related to the quality of education; educational processes and daily difficulties., O objetivo deste artigo é compreender a gestão escolar pelas memórias de gestores escolares dos municípios de Selbach e Nova Boa Vista, localizados no norte do Rio Grande do Sul/RS, Brasil. Articula Gestão Escolar e História da Educação no enquadramento teórico-metodológico, utiliza fontes orais e debate o uso das memórias orais como concepção investigativa. O esforço do pesquisador em escutar o outro proporcionou a construção de um trabalho interativo e possibilitou o desenvolvimento de uma produção de conhecimento humanizada. A história da imigração e colonização alemã no RS está na gênese dos municípios do estudo. As memórias proporcionaram uma visão do cotidiano escolar, seus espaços e seus tempos. Evidenciaram uma história e experiências sobre gestão escolar destacando-se: concepções de escola; relação dos gestores com a cidade e comunidade escolar; preocupação e fatores relacionados a qualidade da educação; processos educativos e dificuldades no cotidiano., El objetivo de este artículo es comprender la gestión escolar a través de la memoria de los administradores escolares de los municipios de Selbach y Nova Boa Vista, ubicados en el norte de Rio Grande do Sul/RS, Brasil. Articula la Gestión Escolar y la Historia de la Educación en el marco teórico-metodológico, utiliza fuentes orales y debate el uso de la memoria oral como concepto investigativo. El esfuerzo del investigador por escuchar al otro proporcionó la construcción de un trabajo interactivo y posibilitó el desarrollo de una producción humanizada de conocimiento. La historia de la inmigración y colonización alemana en RS está en la génesis de los municipios estudiados. Los recuerdos brindaron una visión de la vida cotidiana de la escuela, sus espacios y sus tiempos. - Abstract
Full of memories butterfly museum. The title of Tomas Tranströmer’s memories in translation. This article provides a retrospective overview of Tomas Tranströmer’s memoirs inSwedish and in other languages, with a focus on Polish publications. It defines thetitle’s general function and the strategies needed by the translator in translating orchoosing the title. The choice of titles is particularly interesting: how did Tranströmerchoose the title and how it is related to the poems, both stylistically and in terms ofcontent? In Polish, the memoir’s title has totally changed between the first and the lastedition, and thus possible translation solutions involved are investigated. The articlealso briefly highlights the translation of Swedish literature into Polish and vice versa.From a historical perspective, these translations are made through the so-called majorlanguages, such as German and English. The impact that this practice has had, andwhether it has changed over time, is likewise studied.

20. Os mortos voltaram: Estratégias memorialísticas e literárias da morte no jornalismo narrativo
- Abstract
This work is a reflection on how the narrative journalism promotes the return of the dead to the center of the dis - course, retrieving their testimonies or making them tell their stories again through literary inspirational texts. With this end, we have analyzed some examples that show the use of this alternative, and at the same time we have compared it with memoirs associated with testimonies of World War ii , in particular, those written by the writer Primo Levi (1919-1987), in which the dead also gain importance. Finally, mentions of literary works that use the same strategies are open to debate. All this is done to prove how interesting and enriching these creative possi- bilities of the narrative strategy —some sort of ‘invocation of the dead’— can be for a discourse whose purpose is to inform about reality, such as narrative or literary journalism., Reflexão de como o jornalismo narrativo promove o retorno dos mortos ao centro do discurso, recuperando seus testemunhos ou fazendo com que voltem a falar por meio de textos com inspiração literária. Para tanto, analisamos alguns exemplos que mostram o emprego dessa alternativa, ao mesmo tempo em que produzimos uma compa- ração profícua com obras memorialísticas ligadas aos testemunhos sobre a Segunda Guerra Mundial, sobretudo os produzidos pelo escritor Primo Levi (1919-1987), em que os mortos também ganham protagonismo. This article explores the relationship between photography and memory through the photographic archive of Adelina Dematti de Alaye, Mother of Plaza de Mayo- Línea Fundadora (foundation line). Based on the analysis of a photographic corpus from her personal archive, the paper analyzes the link that this woman, teacher, photographer and Mother of Plaza de Mayo, established with photography: as a way of documenting, as a form of self-representation and as a support for the elaboration of mourning, in the face of the extreme experience of the forced disappearance of a child. These dimensions show the character of resistance that the practice of photography acquired, as well as illuminate other senses of it., Este artigo explora a relação entre a fotografia e a memória através do arquivo fotográfico de Adelina Dematti de Alaye, Madre de Plaza de Mayo- Línea Fundadora. Com base na análise de um corpus fotográfico do seu arquivo pessoal, o jornal analisa a ligação que esta mulher, professora, fotógrafa e Mãe da Praça de Maio, estabeleceu com a fotografia: como forma de documentação, como forma de auto-representação e como suporte para a elaboração do luto, face à experiência extrema do desaparecimento forçado de uma criança. Estas dimensões revelam o carácter de resistência que a prática da fotografia adquiriu, assim como a iluminação de outros sentidos da mesma., El presente artículo explora la relación entre fotografía y memoria a partir del archivo fotográfico de Adelina Dematti de Alaye, Madre de Plaza de Mayo- Línea Fundadora. A partir del análisis de un corpus fotográfico de su archivo personal, el trabajo analiza el vínculo que esta mujer, maestra, fotógrafa y Madre de Plaza de Mayo, entabló con la fotografía: como un modo documentar, como forma de autorrepresentación y como soporte para la elaboración de un duelo, ante la experiencia límite de la desaparición forzada de un hijo. Estas dimensiones dan cuenta del carácter de resistencia que adquirió la práctica de fotografiar así como iluminan otros sentidos de la misma.

This text proposes to present how the construction of teaching took place from the perspective of the history of life, facts and reports on the itinerary for teacher education. The objective is to present how the construction of teaching took place by reporting the researcher's life story. As methodological aspects, it is characterized as a (self) biographical study based on life history, verifying the objective conditions, lived experiences and the way they are narrated by the author herself. I understand that narrating our story is enabling a reinvention of the way I present myself in the world, incorporating what was experienced and presenting the passing of things in the present. Thus, through my narratives, I intended to create a reflection on what we experience and experience along our training itinerary, as something extremely relevant for us to understand how our constitution as a person and professional takes place., Este texto propone presentar cómo se produjo la construcción de la enseñanza desde la perspectiva de la historia de la vida, hechos e informes sobre el itinerario de la formación del profesorado. El objetivo es presentar cómo se llevó a cabo la construcción de la enseñanza a partir del relato de la historia de vida del investigador. Como aspectos metodológicos, se caracteriza por ser un estudio (auto) biográfico basado en la historia de vida, verificando las condiciones objetivas, las experiencias vividas y la forma en que son narradas por la propia autora. Entiendo que narrar nuestra historia es posibilitar una reinvención de la forma en que me presento en el mundo, incorporando lo vivido y presentando el pasar de las cosas en el presente. Así, a través de mis narrativas pretendía generar una reflexión sobre lo que vivimos y vivimos a lo largo de nuestro itinerario formativo, como algo sumamente relevante para que entendamos cómo se desarrolla nuestra constitución como persona y profesional., Este texto tem como proposta apresentar como ocorreu a construção da docência sobre a ótica da história de vida, fatos e relatos sobre o itinerário para a formação docente. O objetivo constitui-se em apresentar como se deu a construção da docência mediante ao relato de história de vida da pesquisadora. Como aspectos metodológicos caracteriza-se como um estudo (auto) biográfico baseado na história de vida, verificando as condições objetivas, experiências vividas e a maneira como são narradas pela própria autora. Compreendo que narrar a nossa história é possibilitar uma reinvenção do modo de como me apresento no mundo, incorporando aquilo que foi vivido e apresentar o passando se fazendo no presente. M. Dolgorukov (1764–1823) is not only an interesting figure of the Russian cultural and literary scene, but also the author of noteworthy works in prose, devoted to the story of his life and time. In fact, the topic of this article is the poetics of his memoirs. In particular, «Povest o rozhdenii moyom, proiskhozhdenii i vsej zhizni» and «Kapische moego serdtsa» are analysed.

Raevskaya provide interesting material that allows you to get an idea of the economic concerns, household and cultural traditions of the existence of noble estates, as well as convey the peculiarities of the mores and public moods of that era.

28. Colonialism, Collective Memory, and Memory Politics: Critical Reflections on Narratives and Public Archives of the Algerian War
- Abstract
Purpose: The article examines the trial of French General Paul Aussaresses (b. 1918, d. 2013) in the 2000s for war crimes committed during the Algerian War (1954 to 1962). Approach/Methodology/Design: A historiographical analysis covering topics such as colonialism, public memory, collective memory, counter-narratives, education, forgetting, and authenticity. Findings: Public history without individual memories or lived experiences of communities that have survived historical events can be viewed as inauthentic. It might even be called propaganda to present only state-sanctioned accounts of historical events. Many governments will consequently enact laws to distinguish between what constitutes official national narratives—and what remains peripheral, or perhaps extremist individual, historical accounts. Practical Implications: This paper contributes to the scholarly literature examining oral testimonials in political and war crime tribunals, and the ethics of conducting public history research using media archives. Originality/value: Towards a greater understanding of collective memory processes, the case of the Algerian War reveals the constant negotiations, formal networks, and informal channels used to distinguish between legitimate and illegitimate sources of historical memory—and the consequences on culture, law, and society.

30. Книги конструктора А. С. Яковлева как источник по советской истории
- Abstract
Целью написания статьи стало исследование литературных произведений А. С. Яковлева - советского авиационного конструктора, автора нескольких книг воспоминаний, в том числе самой известной - «Цель жизни». Научная новизна статьи видится в том, что в работе впервые в отечественной историографии предпринята попытка анализа и критической оценки общественной значимости упомянутых произведений. При этом автор сформулировал собственное видение книг А. С. Яковлева, отметив такие их недостатки, как чрезмерную идеологизацию и определенную ангажированность автора в вопросах оценки достижений советского авиастроения. В результате делается вывод о том, что книги выдающегося конструктора в общем представляют собой ценный источник при изучении истории советской авиации и отечественной истории в целом., The purpose of the article is to study literary works of A. S. Yakovlev - the famous Soviet aircraft designer, author of several memoirs, including his best known work, “The Aim of Lifetime”. The paper is novel in that it is the first attempt to analyse and critically assess public significance of the said works in the Russian historiography. At the same time, the researcher has articulated his own view on A. S. Ya-kovlev’s books, noting such shortcomings as excessive ideologisation and a certain bias on the author’s part regarding assessment of the Soviet aircraft industry achievements. As a result, it is concluded that, in general, the outstanding designer’s books are a valuable source for studying history of the Soviet aviation and the So-viet history as a whole.

31. Sad and Laughable and Strange: At War with Just War
- Abstract
Scholars interested in just war theory have paid insufficient attention to how the soldiers tasked to carry out its demands think about it. Reflecting on this gap between theory and experience, this essay asks: What do soldiers think about the idea of just war and the demands it places upon them? Focusing on war memoirs, we argue that while most soldiers ostensibly endorse the principles of just war theory, they are not averse to highlighting, its absurdity. To understand this and what it means, one needs only to think about what makes soldiers laugh. Building on the work of Albert Camus, we suggest soldiers’ laughter renders audible their lucid recognition of war's absurdity – an articulation of the gap between the idea of “just war” and their experience of waging it – and a candid appraisal of their role in it as sad and laughable and strange.

32. Latencias del tiempo. Memoria y archivo en una instalación de Albertina Carri.
- Abstract
Within the framework of a series of theoretical concerns that articulate memoirs, archives and subjectivities, I’m interested in certain contemporary aesthetic materials related to our recent traumatic past, which open the languages of the memory into other records and temporalities. In this work, I will make an approximation to the multiple audiovisual installation Operación Fracaso y El Sonido Recobrado, de Albertina Carri , filmmaker and visual artist with a long history in our country, whose movie Los rubios (2003) about her parents’ disappearance, marked a turning point in the ways of conceiving the stories of the past and the rhetorics of memory. The installation —which was exhibited in the Parque de la Memoria de Buenos Aires, From September to November 2015— consists of five parts (Presente, Allegro/A piace, Cine puro, Operación fracaso y Punto impropio) and is accompanied by a catalog with texts by the artist and the curators of the work. Each axis of the exhibition is much more than bringing the past to the present, it is an evocation of her parents through the threads of her inheritance, where the artist (already older than her parents and also a mother) wonders again about the powers of the unclosed memory., En el marco de una serie de preocupaciones teóricas que articulan memorias, archivos y subjetividades, me interesan ciertos materiales estéticos contemporáneos relacionados con nuestro pasado traumático reciente, que abren los lenguajes de la memoria a otros registros y temporalidades. En este trabajo realizaré una aproximación a la instalación audiovisual múltiple Operación Fracaso y El Sonido Recobrado, de Albertina Carri, cineasta y artista visual de larga trayectoria en nuestro país, cuya película Los rubios (2003) sobre la desaparición de sus padres, marcó un punto de inflexión en los modos de concebir los relatos del pasado y las retóricas de la memoria. La instalación —que estuvo expuesta en el Parque de la Memoria de Buenos Aires, desde septiembre hasta noviembre de 2015— consta de cinco partes (Presente, Allegro/A piace, Cine puro, Operación fracaso y Punto impropio) y se acompaña de un catálogo con textos de la artista y de los curadores de la obra. Cada eje de la muestra es mucho más que traer al presente el pasado, es una evocación a sus padres a través de los hilos de su herencia, donde la artista (ya mayor que sus padres y también madre) vuelve a interrogarse sobre las potencias no clausuradas de la memoria.

Since the analysis of the female characters that appear in Regàs’ and Janés’ memoirs, this paper goes depth into the condition of women in the XX century in Spain. Through the portraits that each memoirist creates in her text, it is possible to see how two generations of women lived. On the one hand, the stories of those women who, after the unsuccessful republican experience, adapted themselves to the patriarchal society of the Franquoist regime. On the other, all those women who rise up against the male subjection, claiming their role of Modern Woman just before the establishment of democracy.

34. Alegoría, cábala y deconstrucción: los caminos de la autobiografía
- Abstract
The article summarizes the trajectory of the research carried out by the teams led by Dr. Silvia Anderlini during the last decade, from the beginning of the research on Kabbalah and Deconstruction, to the most recent results related to the allegorical evolution of autobiographical discourse and the anarchivistic writing of the Self. The most relevant publications and presentations at conferences and symposia are discussed, both by the director and by two research team members who participated in different periods of time: Dr. Jazmín Acosta and Dr. Mateo Paganini. Their reports provide a better overview of the transdisciplinary approach to the object of investigation. Silvia Anderlini durante la última década, desde sus orígenes, a partir del pensamiento cabalístico y la deconstrucción, hasta los más recientes resultados, vinculados al devenir alegórico del discurso autobiográfico y a la escritura anarchivística del yo. Se comentan las producciones más relevantes, publicaciones y exposiciones en jornadas y congresos, tanto de la directora como de dos de sus principales integrantes, en diferentes épocas: la Dra. Jazmín Acosta y el Dr. Mateo Paganini. Sus testimonios particulares describen de forma más acabada el abordaje del objeto desde una perspectiva transdisciplinaria. En el caso de la Dra. Acosta, se destaca su aporte filosófico desde la deconstrucción, que, en relación con la investigación del equipo, dio lugar a su proyecto de tesis doctoral sobre Derrida y la Cábala. En el caso del Dr. Paganini, proveniente de la psicología, fue crucial el encuentro con el equipo para desarrollar la hipótesis sobre el carácter alegórico que presentan ciertos textos autobiográficos, trabajados a su vez en su tesis doctoral en Letras. In this paper we study the scene of the learning of reading and the encounter with the Book as six contemporary writers narrate in their memoirs. A partir de esta aproximación, el artículo mostrará, por un lado, cómo los niños protagonistas de los libros escogidos contestarán el canon literario impuesto y el sistema educativo oficial, rechazado a favor del autodidactismo. 37. Alegoría, cábala y deconstrucción: los caminos de la autobiografía
- Abstract
The article summarizes the trajectory of the research carried out by the teams led by Dr. Silvia Anderlini during the last decade, from the beginning of the research on Kabbalah and Deconstruction, to the most recent results related to the allegorical evolution of autobiographical discourse and the anarchivistic writing of the Self. The most relevant publications and presentations at conferences and symposia are discussed, both by the director and by two research team members who participated in different periods of time: Dr. Jazmín Acosta and Dr. Mateo Paganini. Their reports provide a better overview of the transdisciplinary approach to the object of investigation. 39. 'So let me remain a stranger' : Multilingualism and Biscriptalism in the Works of Finland-Swedish Writer Tito Colliander
- Abstract
This chapter examines the intriguing multimodal genre of "biscriptalism". It ties also into the role of the reader in the construction of literary multilingualism. The Finland-Swedish, polyglot writer Tito Colliander's memoirs show how Colliander embodied the three roles of author, translator and stranger in the Orthodox Christian diaspora, in both Finland and Estonia, ever since his decision to become a Russian-Orthodox Christian. The use of spoken Russian and Cyrillic script is analysed in order to discuss what these devices meant for Colliander's poetics and identity, also taking into account religion as an important parameter of diversity in the study of literary multilingualism and translingual life writing. It is demonstrated that the experience of translating, mediating and going in-between is crucial to Colliander's life and work: multilingualism and biscriptalism play decisive roles in his diaspora Orthodox Christian identity, but the reader is also invited to continue this task of the translator and to experience the in-betweenness of Colliander's stranger.

Diplomová práce se zabývá rekonstrukcí každodenního života horníků v Čechách v první polovině 20. století. Práce pomocí jednotlivých kapitol analyzuje faktory, které ovlivňovaly každodennost horníků. Mezi hlavní témata práce patří stravování, bydlení, odívání, volný čas, život hornických žen a dětí, motivace k výběru profese horníka nebo také profesní růst horníka. Nedílnou součástí práce jsou i výzkumy sociálních determinantů spojených s důlním odvětím, stávky, mzdové poměry a pracovní úrazovosti horníků, doplňovány dobovými příklady., This master thesis focuses on reconstruction of day-to-day life of the miners from Bohemian region in the first half of the 20th century. An analysis of the factors which influenced miners' everyday life is carried out through the chapters of the paper. To name some of the main topics of the thesis, they are the diet, housing, clothing, free time, the life of miners' wives and children, motivation for choosing the mining as one's job or even professional growth of the miners. - Abstract
Книги мемуарного характера художников, вошедших в отечественную культуру в годы «оттепели», «Промельк Беллы» Б. Мессерера и «Мастерская» В. Воловича, рассмотрены в контексте воспоминаний знаменитых шестидесятников, чья деятельность осуществлялась в разных сферах искусства (литература, музыка, театр, кинематограф и т. д.). Обнаружено несомненное сходство их целеполагания: традиционный рассказ «о времени и о себе», хронологически последовательное повествование о своей судьбе в соотнесенности с судьбой своего поколения. Определены индивидуальные черты воспоминаний, идущие от своеобразия творческой личности автора и его профессиональных приоритетов. Б. Мессерер, человек театра, предлагает драматургически преобразованную реальность шестидесятых, В. Волович, человек книги, склонен к саморефлексии и анализу. Сравнительное исследование двух мемуарных и во многом итоговых книг привело к определению особой значимости места (вне зависимости от его столичной или провинциальной локации), в котором осуществлялись личные и общие для поколения свободные творческие поиски. В случае Б. Мессерера и В. Воловича — это мастерские, мастерские художников и мастерские поколенческого сообщества, в которых происходила «свободы черная работа» (В. Леонович)., This study considers memoir books created by the artists who entered the national culture during the years of the Khrushchev Thaw, including “Promelk Bella (Glimpse of Bella)” by B. Messerer and “Masterskaya (Workshop)” by V. Volovich. These literary works are examined in the context of memories shared by the famous artists of the 1960s in various artistic genres (literature, music, theatre, cinema, etc.). The analyzed works revealed similarity in the artists’ goal setting, i.e. a traditional story “about the time and oneself”, a chronologically consistent narration of one’s fate in relation to the fate of one’s generation. The individual traits of the analyzed memories were determined, resulting from the authors’ creativity, originality and professional priorities. B. Messerer — a man of theatre — offered a dramatically transformed reality of the 1960s, while V. Volovich — a man of books — was prone to self-reflection and analysis. The conducted comparative study of the two memoirs, which were largely the authors’ final books, revealed the significance of the factor of place (regardless of whether it was a metropolitan or provincial location) for the personal or generational creative search. Such places for B. Messerer and V. Volovich were artistic workshops typical of that generation, which allowed “the black work of freedom” (V. Leonovich).

- Abstract
В статье представлены воспоминания Кирилла Арнштама о его детстве, проведенном в столице Германии., The main purpose of the article is a new coverage of the issues related to the reasons for the emigration of the creative intelligentsia to Germany in the early 1920s, the position of the Russian colony in Berlin, the preservation of national identity and adaptation processes. Despite a huge corpus of various kinds of texts by Russian emigrants of the first wave, which depict Berlin realities, the analysis of the memoirs of the youngest generation is not yet a well-studied topic. The value of the stories of children of emigrants lies in a different vision of German life, which throws new light on seemingly well-known phenomena. And therefore, in the center of the article are the late memoirs of Cyril Arnstam, a famous French graphic artist, about his childhood spent in the capital of Germany.

- Abstract
From the analysis of the Memoirs of six contemporary authors, this paper goes in depth in the games played by children, as this activity is narrated in the selected works. In this way, we will see not only how the Spanish Civil War and the post-war period influenced the childhood of the main characters, but also how children interpret violence through diversion. Moreover, we study the space where those games took place: the urban space for little boys and the private location of the house of the childhood for the girls., A partir del análisis de las obras memorísticas de seis autores contemporáneos, en esta contribución se analizan las referencias al juego que aparecen en dichos textos. El estudio permitirá ver no solo la manera en la que se desarrolla la infancia en los años de la guerra civil y de la posguerra en España, sino también cómo los niños y las niñas protagonistas interpretan, a través de la práctica lúdica, la violencia. Asimismo, se profundizan los marcos escénicos donde se desarrollan los juegos. Y, más concretamente, el escenario urbano en el caso de los niños y el ámbito cerrado de la casa de la infancia para las niñas.

44. “Que Possamos Ser o que Somos”: memórias sobre o Movimento Gay de Alfenas no processo de luta pelos direitos de cidadania LGBT (2000-2018)

The article intends to present part of the research that was born from the dialogue with members of the Gay Movement of Alfenas (MGA), founded in the year 2000, in the south of Minas Gerais. The organization has been active in the defense of human rights, in legal issues and in cultural and political manifestations, fighting against prejudice on the part of society that is unaware of its history of struggle and its achievements. In negotiation with its members, a survey was developed of photographic, film and written records, as well as listening in semi-structured interviews, about their experiences in LGBT militancy. This text seeks to present part of the collective memory expressed through the oral history of life of four of its oldest members, seeking to value their trajectory as a group and to reflect on the constitution of an identity permeated by consensus, but also by disputes and disagreements around of its history and of the meanings it has for the plurality of individuals that compose it. It is intended to contribute, with this work, to the production of a public history with the community, expanding the ways of registering, accessing and disseminating their stories and memories., O artigo pretende apresentar parte da pesquisa que nasceu do diálogo com membros do Movimento Gay de Alfenas (MGA), fundado no ano de 2000, no sul de Minas Gerais. A organização tem atuado na defesa dos direitos humanos, em questões jurídicas e em manifestações culturais e políticas, lutando contra o preconceito de parte da sociedade, que desconhece sua história de luta e suas conquistas. Em negociação com seus membros, desenvolveu-se um levantamento de documentos fotográficos, fílmicos e registros escritos, além da escuta em entrevistas semi-estruturadas, sobre suas experiências na militância LGBT. - Abstract
The aim of this work is to analyze the narrative figures that Terenci Moix uses to construct the textual subject that appears in his memoirs. The meaning of such selection matters insofar as these formulas collaborate to create a literary identity that shows the personal tributary volubility of the value of freedom, emancipation and the need to transform oneself to influence the cultural environment. The different modes of autobiographical enunciation go from being an aesthetic-intellectual game to becoming the instrument that allows the autobiographical subject to unfold, subjectify and objectify himself in order to discover the faces of the self, revealing the signs of identity and existential anguish of a personality., El objeto de este trabajo es analizar las figuras narrativas de las que va a servirse Terenci Moix para construir el sujeto textual que exhibirá en sus memorias. Importa el significado de dicha selección en tanto que dichas fórmulas colaboran a crear una identidad literaria que muestra la volubilidad personal tributaria de valor de la libertad, la emancipación y la necesidad de transformarse para influir en el entorno cultural. Los distintos modos de la enunciación autobiográfica pasan de ser un juego estético-intelectual a convertirse en el instrumento que permita al sujeto autobiográfico desdoblarse, subjetivarse y objetivarse con el fin de descubrir las caras del yo, revelando las señas de identidad y angustias existenciales que sustancian una personalidad.

This paper analyzes how testimonial writings suchas memoirs contributed to shaping Colombian his-tory. It starts by differentiating the notions of me-moirs, diaries and history. Additionally, it attempts to elucidate the place of the witness as a central actor and architect of events during the 19th century, as opposed to the view of the witness as a victim who does not deserve his fate, typical of contemporary times. Between the memoirs of the nineteenth century, written to promote imitation, and the contemporary memoir, narrated to ensure non-repetition, there is a historiographical order that redefines time, narration and the role of historical knowledge, Este artículo analiza de qué manera escritos testi-moniales como las memorias contribuyeron en laconfiguración de la historia de Colombia; partiendo de la diferenciación de los términos memorias, diarios e historia. A su vez, intenta elucidar el lugar del testigo como actor central y artífice de los acontecimientos durante el siglo xix, a diferen-cia del testigo como víctima no merecedora de su destino, de la contemporaneidad. 49. O estágio supervisionado na formação de professores como espaço-tempo de reflexão sobre e na prática
- Abstract
This article is part of discussions about initial formation, with emphasis on supervised internship. It aims to revisit the legislation that confers the creation of the pedagogy course, seeking to understand, in this course, how the distances between theory and practice have taken place, considering the supervised internship as a formation space time that although marked by this distance, seeks to overcome the dichotomy between them. We also make an incursion into what has been outlined in terms of academic production on the supervised internship, in addition to highlighting its configuration from the relationship with the knowledge that comes from the memories of the teachers in formation. The study dialogues with authors such as Brzezinski (1999) to understand the legal frameworks for initial teacher training, Lima (2001) and Pimenta (1995) to ensure debate in the field internship besides Tardif and Raymond (2000) and Moraes (2015) discussing pre-professional knowledge and memories., O presente artigo se insere nas discussões sobre formação inicial, com ênfase no estágio supervisionado. Objetiva revisitar a legislação que confere a criação do curso de pedagogia, buscando entender, nesse percurso, como se deram os distanciamentos entre teoria e prática, considerando o estágio supervisionado como espaço-tempo de formação que embora tenha sido marcado por este distanciamento, busca a superação da dicotomia entre as mesmas. Fazemos ainda, uma incursão no que tem se delineado em termos de produção acadêmica sobre o estágio supervisionado, além de realçar sua configuração a partir da relação com os saberes que advém das memórias dos professores em formação. O estudo dialoga com autores, tais como Brzezinski (1999) para entender os marcos legais referentes à formação inicial de professores, Lima (2001) e Pimenta (1995) para assegurar o debate no campo estágio além, de Tardif e Raymond (2000) e Moraes (2015) discorrendo sobre saberes pré-profissionais e memórias., El presente artículo se inserta en las discusiones sobre formación inicial, con énfasis en la pasantía supervisada. Se objetiva revisarla legislación que confiere la creación del curso de pedagogía, buscando entender, en ese recorrido, cómo se dieron los distanciamientos entre teoría y práctica, la pasantía supervisada como espacio de formación que, aunque ha sido marcado por este distanciamiento, busca la superación de la dicotomía entre las mismas. También hacemos una incursión en lo que se ha delineado en términos de producción académica sobre la pasantía supervisada, además de realzar su configuración a partir de la relación con los saberes que vienen de las memorias de los profesores en formación. The different modes of autobiographical enunciation go from being an aesthetic-intellectual game to becoming the instrument that allows the autobiographical subject to unfold, subjectify and objectify himself in order to discover the faces of the self, revealing the signs of identity and existential anguish of a personality., El objeto de este trabajo es analizar las figuras narrativas de las que va a servirse Terenci Moix para construir el sujeto textual que exhibirá en sus memorias. Importa el significado de dicha selección en tanto que dichas fórmulas colaboran a crear una identidad literaria que muestra la volubilidad personal tributaria de valor de la libertad, la emancipación y la necesidad de transformarse para influir en el entorno cultural. Los distintos modos de la enunciación autobiográfica pasan de ser un juego estético-intelectual a convertirse en el instrumento que permita al sujeto autobiográfico desdoblarse, subjetivarse y objetivarse con el fin de descubrir las caras del yo, revelando las señas de identidad y angustias existenciales que sustancian una personalidad.
