The vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan can become a reality by promoting and focusing on local manufacturing i.e. 'Made in India' and being 'vocal' about 'local”. The focus lies on creation of world-class products, promoting investments and value pricing. Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan or Self-reliant India campaign is the vision of new India envisaged by the Hon'ble Prime Minister, with the Special economic and comprehensive package of INR 20 lakh crores - equivalent to 10% of India’s GDP – to fight COVID-19 pandemic in India. The aim is to make the country and its citizens independent and selfreliant in all senses, viz., five pillars of Atma Nirbhar Bharat – Economy, Infrastructure, System, Vibrant Demography and Demand. Atmanirbhar Bharat provides financial support to several firms, encouraging entrepreneurs to produce goods and services within the country. This will help the country to focus on the tagline of ‘vocal for local,' the promotion of local brands, manufacturing, and supply chains that will provide a significant boost to India's economy. This will ultimately help India to become Atmanirbhar Bharat in every aspect. However, the readiness of current and future entrepreneurs is not well defined and planned at the moment due to lack of knowledge, readiness, planning, coordination and collaboration between different stakeholders, and guidance on this transformation process resulting in skill gaps, mismatches and resource losses. The skills requested by industry are not merely technical. Future professionals are mandatorily expected to be creative, innovative and entrepreneurial, and capable of building relationships, advancing research and strengthening their organisations. The present research was carried out to document the moth fauna of Annamalai Nagar during December, 2015 to November, 2016 comprising four seasons for a period of one year, from agriculture and horticulture ecosystems using light traps and host rearing methods. The sheet method was used to record moth insects individually without any damage. Any moths that alight on the screen were recorded in jars just after sunset between 18.00 – 23.00 hr. A total of 2,679 moths were recorded using all the three types of methods employed in the study. Out of which, light trap was found with maximum of 2,253 moths followed by manual collection (369) and host rearing (57) from four different sites of observation. Among the sites, light trapping of moths were observed maximum (656) in Orchard followed by Experimental farm with 629 numbers. The diversity of moths was observed in the study area of Annamalai Nagar indicated the presence of 70 genera and 56 species identified under nine superfamilies of Clades viz., Obtectomera (Pyraloidea and Thyridoidea) Macroheterocera (Noctuoidea, Bombycoidea, Geometroidea, Lasiocampoidea) Apoditrysia (Pterophoroidea and Cossoidea) Ditrysia (Tineoidea). The families namely Crambidae, Erebidae, Noctuidae, Sphingidae, Bombycidae, Uraniidae, Thyrididae, Eupterotidae, Geometridae, Pterophoridae, Lasiocampidae, Cossidae and Psychidae were observed in the study area. Out of which, the family Erebidae alone had 28 genera and 25 species and found to be the superior family. From the results, it was clear that light trapping was superior in collection of moths during night times.

This paper presents an application of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is combined with Technique for Order Preference by Similarly to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) model for selection of the best maintenance strategy for pump in paper industry. AHP is used to compute the criteria weights whereas TOPSIS is used to ranking the maintenance strategy alternatives. This study focuses on four maintenance strategies such as Corrective Maintenance (CM), Predictive maintenance (PM), Time based preventive Maintenance (TM) & Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) and four main criteria such as safety, cost, added value and feasibility are used to evaluate the optimum maintenance strategy.

Zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles were chemically synthesized with magnesium doping and characterized through UV–visible spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDAX) techniques and photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy. Magnesium doped ZnO nanoparticles were found to be crystalline having a single phase as confirmed by XRD and HRTEM. The antibacterial activity of Mg doped ZnO nanoparticles synthesized by a simple co-precipitation technique have been investigated against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacterial strains. It has been interestingly observed that Mg doping has enhanced the inhibitory activity of ZnO against S. aureus more efficiently than the E. coli bacterial strain.

As climate change affects Ethiopia’s agriculture and highly disrupting people’s livelihood, it is high time to study “the effect of climate change on crop production and adaptation strategies in Dendi District”. The study was made on two Cooperatives (Bodda and Welenkomi) from which 200 respondents were selected using simple random sampling technique. Field survey and PRA methods were adopted to collect primary data. Secondary data were collected from the documents of cooperatives and offices concerned. The effect of climate change on crop production was analyzed using Generalized Linear-univariate model. Climate change adaptation strategies were analyzed qualitatively with the help of descriptive statistics. The study showed that solar intensity, disease, flood, temperature, rainfall and landslide were found to be statistically significant to have an adverse effect on crop production. The results from descriptive statistics revealed that farmers’ level of awareness of on climate change is low. 96.5% of farmers did not adapt key strategies. The support from disaster department and agricultural cooperatives are not significant. To design appropriate measures and curb the adverse effect of statistically significant climate variables, concerted effort of all stakeholders is of paramount importance. As agricultural Cooperatives are the major stakeholder, they must take measures for increasing farmers’ awareness on climate change adaptation. Strengthening vertical and horizontal linkage among stakeholders is vital. Besides, early warning systems should be in place and intensive training on climate change adaptation strategies is advocated to mitigate the adverse effect of climate change and to bring a positive change on members’ livelihood.
