Research on religious conflict is mostly carried out by researchers in Indonesia, but it has not been mapped integratively. Several studies on religious conflict have been published and indexed on the Portal Garuda. The Portal Garuda is a national indexer for scientific publications in Indonesia. This study aims to determine a map of the development of religious conflict research in Indonesia. In this study, several scientific articles on the theme of religious conflict were reviewed. This study uses a quantitative approach with the bibliometric method. The results of the study show that the trend of religious conflict research in Indonesia tends to fluctuate. The largest increase in the number of articles was recorded in 2018. Based on the research data, it is also shown that the author of religious conflict scientific articles affiliated with Islamic Higher Education institutions in Indonesia is more dominant. Meanwhile, the research subjects that appear in many scientific articles on religious conflict are clusters of communal conflicts or conflicts between religions.

The purpose of this study is to characterize the literature that is being built on the world stage on environmental identity, taking as a timeline the academic production of the last 18 years in high impact databases. To fulfill this objective, we start with the formulation of two research questions: What is the scientific production (articles) related to research on environmental identity? What fields or areas have addressed research on environmental identity and what categories emerge? The results show that more than 50% of the literature on environmental identity is concentrated in two countries (the United States and the United Kingdom) and that in the analysis there are eight fields and/or areas of knowledge where environmental identity implies a sense of connection with nature, which involves skills, attitudes and values that emerge in the relationship with others., El propósito del presente estudio consiste en caracterizar el material bibliográfico que se ha generado en el escenario mundial sobre la identidad ambiental. Como delimitación temporal se tomaron los últimos 18 años de producción académica presente en bases de datos de alto impacto, a partir del mapeamiento informacional bibliográfico. Para cumplir con este objetivo, se parte de la formulación de dos preguntas de investigación: ¿cuál es la producción científica (artículos) relacionada con investigaciones sobre identidad ambiental?, ¿a qué campos o áreas pertenecen las investigaciones sobre identidad ambiental y qué categorías emergen? Los resultados muestran que más del 50 % de la literatura sobre identidad ambiental se concentra en dos países (Estados Unidos y Reino Unido) y que en el análisis emergen ocho campos o áreas de conocimiento en los que la identidad ambiental supone un sentido de conexión con la naturaleza, lo cual involucra habilidades, actitudes y valores que emergen en la relación con los otros.

It describes the actions developed in an investigation about the redesign of the School of Library and Information Science website at the University of Costa Rica through the use of information architecture and the information system approach, as a comprehensive, systematic and continuous process. It seeks to improve the dissemination of activities of the School and enhance communication with the students, faculty and staff. The research is part of an improvement project that arises from a number of weaknesses identified in the self-assessment process from 2007-2012. Finally, the degree of progress of the project and its impact at the organizational level is presented., Se describen las acciones realizadas a través de una investigación que desarrolla el rediseño del sitio web de la Escuela de Bibliotecología y Ciencias de la Información (EBCI) de la Universidad de Costa Rica a través del empleo de la arquitectura de la información y del enfoque de sistema de información, a fin de que se proyecte como un proceso integral, sistemático y continuo. Se busca mejorar la divulgación del quehacer de la Escuela y fortalecer la comunicación con sus estudiantes, docentes y administrativos. La investigación forma parte de un proyecto de mejoramiento que surge a raíz de la identificación de una serie de debilidades en el proceso de autoevaluación de las carreras del periodo 2007-2012. Finalmente, se presenta el grado de avance del proyecto y su impacto a nivel organizacional.

This paper presents a new global patent map that represents all technological categories and a method to locate patent data of individual organizations and technological fields on the global map. This overlay map technique may support competitive intelligence and policy decision making. The global patent map is based on similarities in citing-to-cited relationships between categories of the International Patent Classification (IPC) of European Patent Office (EPO) patents from 2000 to 2006. This patent data set, extracted from the PATSTAT database, includes 760,000 patent records in 466 IPC-based categories. We compare the global patent maps derived from this categorization to related efforts of other global patent maps. The paper overlays the nanotechnology-related patenting activities of two companies and two different nanotechnology subfields on the global patent map. The exercise shows the potential of patent overlay maps to visualize technological areas and potentially support decision making. Furthermore, this study shows that IPC categories that are similar to one another based on citing-to-cited patterns (and thus close in the global patent map) are not necessarily in the same hierarchical IPC branch, thereby revealing new relationships between technologies that are classified as pertaining to different (and sometimes distant) subject areas in the IPC scheme.

Transfer of scientific and technical information between and among nations poses increasing challenges because of: 1) larger and larger volumes of data exchanged; 2) the increasing variety of information interchange media; 3) larger and larger numbers of intermediaries and end-users all along the information transfer chain; and 4) increasing incompatibility of bibliographic and telecommunications formatting conventions. The newly emerging field of Information Resources Management (IRM) offers promise in helping to cope with these serious information exchange challenges. In particular, new experiments in the US. Federal Government with a technique called 'information mapping,' helps information managers identify, describe, inventory/survey, and control their total data, document, and literature flows and holdings, whether automated or manual, more completely. Information mapping is a method of organizing categories of information and of displaying them for both learning and reference purposes. The method may be applied to the production of self-instructional books or to the organization of data bases for computer-aided instruction and reference. The report is itself written in modified information map form. The procedures and rules for information mapping were derived from educational research and technology as well as from the communications world. Preliminary work with simulated computer displays has explored the flexibility with which a system so organized can respond with a range of user options and display variations. Cost per instruction hour is competitive with that of other methods, but the method has additional advantages in its versatility and ease of updating.
