The number of digital startup companies increased while many global companies has proceeded with Digital Transformation for a decade. This panel is related to the education for the practice of IS Leadership roles in Digital Transformation with a given framework of Digital Strategy and Enterprise Architecture. As members of education and collaborative research teams that have been studying and teaching the correct direction of IS leadership roles under Digital Transformation in global organizations while applying Enterprise Architecture (EA) Framework – the “Adaptive Integrated Digital Architecture Framework (AIDAF)” with Holistic EA Framework, the panelists understand that the above roles have difficulties during Digital Transformation. Thus, the panelists will discuss the theory, practice, and extent of educator’s precise guidance in the leadership roles and correct directions in Digital Transformation. RÉSUMÉ: One third of fatal car accidents and so many tragedies are due to alcohol abuse. These sad numbers could be mitigated if everyone had access to a breathalyzer anytime and anywhere. Having a breathalyzer built into a phone or wearable technology could be the way to get around reluctance to carry a separate device. With this goal, we propose an inexpensive breathalyzer that could be integrated in the screens of mobile devices. Our technology is based on the evaporation rate of the fog produced by the breath on the phone screen, which increases with increasing breath alcohol content. The device simply uses a photodiode placed on the side of the screen to measure the signature of the scattered light intensity from the phone display that is guided through the stress layer of the Gorilla glass screen. A part of the display light is coupled to the stress layer via the evanescent field induced at the edge of the breath microdroplets. We demonstrate that the intensity signature measured at the detector can be linked to blood alcohol content. We fabricated a prototype in a smartphone case powered by the phone’s battery, controlled by an application installed on the smartphone, and tested it in real-world environments. Limitations and future work toward a fully operational device are discussed.

The Canadian Astro-H Metrology System (CAMS) on the Hitomi X-ray satellite is a laser alignment system that measures the lateral displacement (X/Y) of the extensible optical bench (EOB) along the optical axis of the hard X-ray telescopes (HXTs). The CAMS consists of two identical units that together can be used to discern translation and rotation of the deployable element along the axis. This paper presents the results of in-flight usage of the CAMS during deployment of the EOB and during two observations (Crab and G21.5-0.9) with the HXTs. The CAMS was extremely important during the deployment operation by providing real-time positioning information of the EOB with micrometer scale resolution. In this work, we show how the CAMS improves data quality coming from the hard X-ray imagers. Moreover, we demonstrate that a metrology system is even more important as the angular resolution of the telescope increases. Such a metrology system will be an indispensable tool for future high resolution X-ray imaging missions., Comment: 46 pages, 24 figures. Accepted for publication in JATIS
