Quite recently, marketers have used memes because they entice customers’ attention. It serves as a means to have a dialogue between customers and companies. Some companies would even hire people to browse the internet for relevant memes. The emergence of Generation Z, who are digital natives, has brought significant changes to how businesses interact with their target audience. One potential strategy is to use digital memes as a marketing tool to engage them. The study, using 271 respondents, investigates the use of the aforementioned tool to determine its appropriateness in lead generation based on the Attention, Interest, Desire, Action (AIDA) model. Using the software Analysis of Moment Structures (AMOS), a descriptive exploratory design using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to investigate the relationship between the different variables in the study. The findings show that attention impacts interest, interest influences desire, and desire significantly affects action at a significance level of p < 0.01. The study revealed that Digital memes are an effective tool that can be utilized to generate leads. Businesses can use digital memes to engage with the Generation Z segment. However, prudence in creating memes must align the message with corporate values and be relevant to the target audience.

Mobile commerce is an industry that has rapidly grown in value over the years. Fewer customers now use their mobile devices only as a single functioning unit, expanding their purpose even to shopping. Despite its increasing popularity, recent literature reviews did not reveal a definitive study on m-commerce app interface quality and its relation to customer conversion. This paper aims to understand the influence of mobile interface on customer conversion by examining the top 2 e-commerce apps in the Philippines – Shopee and Lazada. The Regression analysis method is applied in determining relationships between variables. From a total of 385 participants, results show that dimensions of the mobile interface (visual appeal, layout quality, information quality) influence credibility and usability, except for in-app banners, which has a negligible effect on customers. The study has also found that all aspects of mobile interface positively influence customer conversion. On top of that, the researchers have also taken steps to discover that perceived trust and ease of use greatly affect customer conversion. Hence, when a customer finds an e-commerce platform to be trustworthy and user-friendly, the more they will be likely to purchase a product.

This paper aims to determine the factors that influence consumers’ decision-making prior to purchasing mobile phones in e-commerce platforms and retail establishments, otherwise known as traditional commerce. Although previous studies have been conducted in understanding consumer trust, this research specifically focuses on a specific industry only, which was a decision made in order to narrow down and better understand the consumer buying behavior, as opposed to having multiple industries which would result in inaccurate findings. Variables used were determined based on related literature leaning towards comparative research, as well as consumer buying behavior. Several methods, including descriptive statistics and independent t-test calculations, have been conducted by the researchers to come up with a conclusion that can assist consumers in having ample knowledge before purchasing a mobile phone on different commerce platforms. The researchers concluded that Traditional commerce is much preferable by the consumers with regards to these factors; credibility perceived ease of use, and satisfaction.

With the recent rise of internet-based businesses within the confines of the Philippines, people started to pay closer attention to shipping costs and other completion concerns, which are variables that influence a consumer's perception prior to purchasing. This study aims to look at how shipping fees influence customer satisfaction, which in turn influences their online buying selections. To fulfill this purpose, a quantitative research study was used to monitor the purchasing decisions that were made by male and female consumers between the ages of 20 and 29 in the National Capital Region of the Philippines, with a sample size of 385 respondents. Our findings indicated that online buyers definitely view shipping fees as a partitioned component of e-commerce. Concluding that the amount of shipping fee prior to the consumers’ purchase definitely contributes to the fulfillment of deliberate satisfaction as well as elicits pure intentions in purchasing online. Ultimately, online buyers in the Philippines are fairly neutral about whether the amount of shipping fee completely affects the customer's online evaluation and choices.

This study aimed to describe students' experience of service quality (training quality and delivery, student support, training facilities and student services) while enrolled in various private HEI-TVET programs. Further, it sought to determine if there were differences in the perception of students of the same service quality across work experience, certification, high school curriculum, and availability of scholarship. Following review of TVET literature a multi-aspect questionnaire was developed. Students (n=234) enrolled in various technical vocational courses in private HEIs participated in this study. The data was analyzed using independent t-test for comparisons across demographic profiles while Pearson's r was utilized to test relationships between variables. Results showed high overall satisfaction on the quality of TVET training of private HEIs. The study found that work experience, certification, high school curriculum, and scholarship make a significant difference in the students' perception in some of the quality indicators of private HEIs TVET courses. The findings are deemed valuable and useful for school and program managers, policy makers and researchers in the training and educational sector.
