Background: The management of choice for granulomatous mastitis (GM) has yet to be determined but few studies have demonstrated that anti-tubercular treatment (ATT) could be an effective alternative therapeutic option. Hence, the objective of the current study is to determine the clinical feature, radiological imaging findings, and histopathological examination results exhibited by GM and tuberculosis (TB)-proven GM as well as to evaluate the ATT clinical outcome in GM patients., Methods: The study was performed on 68 GM patients who were referred to the department of pulmonology by the breast clinic (from January 2018 to August 2021). Study populations were categorized into two groups GM and TB-proven GM patients and all were prescribed with standard ATT regimen and were continuously followed up. SPSS version 25 was employed for statistical assessment., Results: Our study showed that 6 patients from GM and 4 patients from the TB-proven GM group got relapsed. For patients who displayed partial remission, ATT treatment was started after assessing the side effects potential. 14.6% (n = 6) and 7.4% (n = 2) patients who initially demonstrated partial remission were also completely cured. ATT treatment curable rate was determined to be 90% (n = 37) and 81.5% (n = 22) for GM and TB-proven GM patients correspondingly. Mammary Paget disease is an uncommon malignancy of the breast that presents with ulceration or eczema of the nipple and is almost always associated with an underlying breast carcinoma. This disease is most commonly seen in the fifth and sixth decades of life and is almost always unilateral. The diagnosis of mammary Paget disease is generally based on clinical findings, confirmed by histopathologic examination. Mammographic and ultrasonographic findings may be nonspecific for malignancy, with 50% of cases showing negative findings. Magnetic resonance imaging can be used as a diagnostic tool to detect clinically occult cancer with nonspecific findings on mammogram and ultrasonogram. In this article, we are presenting a rare case of a young woman with biopsy-proven bilateral mammary Paget disease, for which bilateral modified radical mastectomy was done, followed by adjuvant chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

We report the detailed gross, histopathological and immunohistochemical study of Strobilocercus fasciolaris infection, the metacestodal stage of Taenia taeniaeformis, in the liver of laboratory Wistar rats. Necropsy examination of seventeen rats revealed transparent or white or cream to clear, thick walled cysts, 1 to 97 in number, measuring about 2mm to 12mm on one or many of the liver lobes and containing strobilocercus of Taenia taeniaeformis. Histopathological examination revealed the presence of the cross-section of larva surrounded by a thick fibrous capsule and moderate infiltration of lymphocytes, plasma cells and a few eosinophils. Fatty degeneration of hepatocytes, gastric mucosal hyperplasia, distended gastric glands and marked increase in the mucosal epithelial cells and goblet cells in the duodenum were also observed. Presentation of colon ischemia is even more subtle, and this review article details about the various presentation patterns of ischemic colitis and their management.

Oral tuberculosis is very rare and when present they are usually secondary to pulmonary tuberculosis. Tuberculous lesions of the tongue have become so infrequent that they are virtually a forgotten disease entity and may pose a diagnostic problem. The case reported in this paper emphasizes the importance of including tuberculosis in the differential diagnosis of any chronic oral ulcer. The low number of oral infections by M. tuberculosis could be due to underreporting.
