Aiming at the problem that the unbalanced distribution of data in sleep electroencephalogram(EEG) signals and poor comfort in the process of polysomnography information collection will reduce the model's classification ability, this paper proposed a sleep state recognition method using single-channel EEG signals (WKCNN-LSTM) based on one-dimensional width kernel convolutional neural networks(WKCNN) and long-short-term memory networks (LSTM). Firstly, the wavelet denoising and synthetic minority over-sampling technique-Tomek link (SMOTE-Tomek) algorithm were used to preprocess the original sleep EEG signals. Secondly, one-dimensional sleep EEG signals were used as the input of the model, and WKCNN was used to extract frequency-domain features and suppress high-frequency noise. Then, the LSTM layer was used to learn the time-domain features. Finally, normalized exponential function was used on the full connection layer to realize sleep state. The experimental results showed that the classification accuracy of the one-dimensional WKCNN-LSTM model was 91.80% in this paper, which was better than that of similar studies in recent years, and the model had good generalization ability. This study improved classification accuracy of single-channel sleep EEG signals that can be easily utilized in portable sleep monitoring devices.

Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) are a class of peptides widely existing in nature with broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity. It is considered as a new alternative to traditional antibiotics because of its unique mechanism of antimicrobial activity. The development and application of natural AMPs are limited due to their drawbacks such as low antimicrobial activity and unstable metabolism. Therefore, the design and optimization of derived peptides based on natural antimicrobial peptides have become recent research hotspots. In this paper, we focus on ribosomal AMPs and summarize the design and optimization strategies of some related derived peptides, which include reasonable primary structure modification, cyclization strategy and computer-aided strategy. We expect to provide ideas for the design and optimization of antimicrobial peptides and the development of anti-infective drugs through analysis and summary in this paper.

The skin is the largest organ of the human body, and many visceral diseases will be directly reflected on the skin, so it is of great clinical significance to accurately segment the skin lesion images. To address the characteristics of complex color, blurred boundaries, and uneven scale information, a skin lesion image segmentation method based on dense atrous spatial pyramid pooling (DenseASPP) and attention mechanism is proposed. The method is based on the U-shaped network (U-Net). Firstly, a new encoder is redesigned to replace the ordinary convolutional stacking with a large number of residual connections, which can effectively retain key features even after expanding the network depth. Secondly, channel attention is fused with spatial attention, and residual connections are added so that the network can adaptively learn channel and spatial features of images. Finally, the DenseASPP module is introduced and redesigned to expand the perceptual field size and obtain multi-scale feature information. The algorithm proposed in this paper has obtained satisfactory results in the official public dataset of the International Skin Imaging Collaboration (ISIC 2016). The mean Intersection over Union (mIOU), sensitivity (SE), precision (PC), accuracy (ACC), and Dice coefficient (Dice) are 0.901 8, 0.945 9, 0.948 7, 0.968 1, 0.947 3, respectively. The experimental results demonstrate that the method in this paper can improve the segmentation effect of skin lesion images, and is expected to provide an auxiliary diagnosis for professional dermatologists.

Aiming at the problem of low recognition accuracy of motor imagery electroencephalogram signal due to individual differences of subjects, an individual adaptive feature representation method of motor imagery electroencephalogram signal is proposed in this paper. Firstly, based on the individual differences and signal characteristics in different frequency bands, an adaptive channel selection method based on expansive relevant features with label F (ReliefF) was proposed. By extracting five time-frequency domain observation features of each frequency band signal, ReliefF algorithm was employed to evaluate the effectiveness of the frequency band signal in each channel, and then the corresponding signal channel was selected for each frequency band. Secondly, a feature representation method of common space pattern (CSP) based on fast correlation-based filter (FCBF) was proposed (CSP-FCBF). The features of electroencephalogram signal were extracted by CSP, and the best feature sets were obtained by using FCBF to optimize the features, so as to realize the effective state representation of motor imagery electroencephalogram signal. Finally, support vector machine (SVM) was adopted as a classifier to realize identification. Experimental results show that the proposed method in this research can effectively represent the states of motor imagery electroencephalogram signal, with an average identification accuracy of (83.0±5.5)% for four types of states, which is 6.6% higher than the traditional CSP feature representation method. The research results obtained in the feature representation of motor imagery electroencephalogram signal lay the foundation for the realization of adaptive electroencephalogram signal decoding and its application.

The goal of this paper is to solve the problems of large volume, slow dynamic response and poor intelligent controllability of traditional gait rehabilitation training equipment by using the characteristic that the shear yield strength of magnetorheological fluid changes with the applied magnetic field strength. Based on the extended Bingham model, the main structural parameters of the magnetorheological fluid damper and its output force were simulated and optimized by using scientific computing software, and the three-dimensional modeling of the damper was carried out after the size was determined. On this basis and according to the design and use requirements of the damper, the finite element analysis software was used for force analysis, strength check and topology optimization of the main force components. Finally, a micro magnetorheological fluid damper suitable for wearable rehabilitation training system was designed, which has reference value for the design of lightweight, portable and intelligent rehabilitation training equipment.

The effective classification of multi-task motor imagery electroencephalogram (EEG) is helpful to achieve accurate multi-dimensional human-computer interaction, and the high frequency domain specificity between subjects can improve the classification accuracy and robustness. Therefore, this paper proposed a multi-task EEG signal classification method based on adaptive time-frequency common spatial pattern (CSP) combined with convolutional neural network (CNN). The characteristics of subjects' personalized rhythm were extracted by adaptive spectrum awareness, and the spatial characteristics were calculated by using the one-versus-rest CSP, and then the composite time-domain characteristics were characterized to construct the spatial-temporal frequency multi-level fusion features. Finally, the CNN was used to perform high-precision and high-robust four-task classification. The algorithm in this paper was verified by the self-test dataset containing 10 subjects (33 ± 3 years old, inexperienced) and the dataset of the 4th 2018 Brain-Computer Interface Competition (BCI competition Ⅳ-2a). The average accuracy of the proposed algorithm for the four-task classification reached 93.96% and 84.04%, respectively. Compared with other advanced algorithms, the average classification accuracy of the proposed algorithm was significantly improved, and the accuracy range error between subjects was significantly reduced in the public dataset. The results show that the proposed algorithm has good performance in multi-task classification, and can effectively improve the classification accuracy and robustness.

Intelligent medical image segmentation methods have been rapidly developed and applied, while a significant challenge is domain shift. That is, the segmentation performance degrades due to distribution differences between the source domain and the target domain. This paper proposed an unsupervised end-to-end domain adaptation medical image segmentation method based on the generative adversarial network (GAN). A network training and adjustment model was designed, including segmentation and discriminant networks. In the segmentation network, the residual module was used as the basic module to increase feature reusability and reduce model optimization difficulty. Further, it learned cross-domain features at the image feature level with the help of the discriminant network and a combination of segmentation loss with adversarial loss. The discriminant network took the convolutional neural network and used the labels from the source domain, to distinguish whether the segmentation result of the generated network is from the source domain or the target domain. The whole training process was unsupervised. The proposed method was tested with experiments on a public dataset of knee magnetic resonance (MR) images and the clinical dataset from our cooperative hospital. With our method, the mean Dice similarity coefficient (DSC) of segmentation results increased by 2.52% and 6.10% to the classical feature level and image level domain adaptive method. The proposed method effectively improves the domain adaptive ability of the segmentation method, significantly improves the segmentation accuracy of the tibia and femur, and can better solve the domain transfer problem in MR image segmentation.

Heart sound analysis is significant for early diagnosis of congenital heart disease. A novel method of heart sound classification was proposed in this paper, in which the traditional mel frequency cepstral coefficient (MFCC) method was improved by using the Fisher discriminant half raised-sine function (F-HRSF) and an integrated decision network was used as classifier. It does not rely on segmentation of the cardiac cycle. Firstly, the heart sound signals were framed and windowed. Then, the features of heart sounds were extracted by using improved MFCC, in which the F-HRSF was used to weight sub-band components of MFCC according to the Fisher discriminant ratio of each sub-band component and the raised half sine function. Three classification networks, convolutional neural network (CNN), long and short-term memory network (LSTM), and gated recurrent unit (GRU) were combined as integrated decision network. Finally, the two-category classification results were obtained through the majority voting algorithm. An accuracy of 92.15%, sensitivity of 91.43%, specificity of 92.83%, corrected accuracy of 92.01%, and F score of 92.13% were achieved using the novel signal processing techniques. It shows that the algorithm has great potential in early diagnosis of congenital heart disease.

Gesture imitation is a common rehabilitation strategy in limb rehabilitation training. In traditional rehabilitation training, patients need to complete training actions under the guidance of rehabilitation physicians. However, due to the limited resources of the hospital, it cannot meet the training and guidance needs of all patients. In this paper, we proposed a following control method based on Kinect and NAO robot for the gesture imitation task in rehabilitation training. The method realized the joint angles mapping from Kinect coordination to NAO robot coordination through inverse kinematics algorithm. Aiming at the deflection angle estimation problem of the elbow joint, a virtual space plane was constructed and realized the accurate estimation of deflection angle. Finally, a comparative experiment for deflection angle of the elbow joint angle was conducted. The experimental results showed that the root mean square error of the angle estimation value of this method in right elbow transverse deflection and vertical deflection directions was 2.734° and 2.159°, respectively. It demonstrates that the method can follow the human movement in real time and stably using the NAO robot to show the rehabilitation training program for patients.

Sensorimotor disorder can be easily caused by stroke, and there are many targeted movement rehabilitation therapies. With the development of rehabilitation robot technology, robot-assisted therapy combined with mechanical perturbations has become a more effective motor rehabilitation therapy. In this paper, the definition of mechanical perturbation and its physiological mechanism in stroke rehabilitation are introduced, the research progress on mechanical perturbation in the field of stroke rehabilitation therapy is mainly discussed, the application of mechanical perturbation in motor control, postural response and sensory evaluation of stroke rehabilitation is summarized, and the future development direction of mechanical perturbation rehabilitation therapy is also prospected.

The non-invasive brain-computer interface (BCI) has gradually become a hot spot of current research, and it has been applied in many fields such as mental disorder detection and physiological monitoring. However, the electroencephalography (EEG) signals required by the non-invasive BCI can be easily contaminated by electrooculographic (EOG) artifacts, which seriously affects the analysis of EEG signals. Therefore, this paper proposed an improved independent component analysis method combined with a frequency filter, which automatically recognizes artifact components based on the correlation coefficient and kurtosis dual threshold. In this method, the frequency difference between EOG and EEG was used to remove the EOG information in the artifact component through frequency filter, so as to retain more EEG information. The experimental results on the public datasets and our laboratory data showed that the method in this paper could effectively improve the effect of EOG artifact removal and improve the loss of EEG information, which is helpful for the promotion of non-invasive BCI.

Constrained spherical deconvolution can quantify white matter fiber orientation distribution information from diffusion magnetic resonance imaging data. But this method is only applicable to single shell diffusion magnetic resonance imaging data and will provide wrong fiber orientation information in white matter tissue which contains isotropic diffusion signals. To solve these problems, this paper proposes a constrained spherical deconvolution method based on multi-model response function. Multi-shell data can improve the stability of fiber orientation, and multi-model response function can attenuate isotropic diffusion signals in white matter, providing more accurate fiber orientation information. Synthetic data and real brain data from public database were used to verify the effectiveness of this algorithm. The results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can attenuate isotropic diffusion signals in white matter and overcome the influence of partial volume effect on fiber direction estimation, thus estimate fiber direction more accurately. The reconstructed fiber direction distribution is stable, the false peaks are less, and the recognition ability of cross fiber is stronger, which lays a foundation for the further research of fiber bundle tracking technology.

Considering the small differences between different types in the diabetic retinopathy (DR) grading task, a retinopathy grading algorithm based on cross-layer bilinear pooling is proposed. Firstly, the input image is cropped according to the Hough circle transform (HCT), and then the image contrast is improved by the preprocessing method; then the squeeze excitation group residual network (SEResNeXt) is used as the backbone of the model, and a cross-layer bilinear pooling module is introduced for classification. Finally, a random puzzle generator is introduced in the training process for progressive training, and the center loss (CL) and focal loss (FL) methods are used to further improve the effect of the final classification. The quadratic weighted Kappa (QWK) is 90.84% in the Indian Diabetic Retinopathy Image Dataset (IDRiD), and the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) in the Messidor-2 dataset (Messidor-2) is 88.54%. Experiments show that the algorithm proposed in this paper has a certain application value in the field of diabetic retina grading.

Neurofeedback (NF) technology based on electroencephalogram (EEG) data or functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) has been widely studied and applied. In contrast, functional near infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) has become a new technique in NF research in recent years. fNIRS is a neuroimaging technology based on hemodynamics, which has the advantages of low cost, good portability and high spatial resolution, and is more suitable for use in natural environments. At present, there is a lack of comprehensive review on fNIRS-NF technology (fNIRS-NF) in China. In order to provide a reference for the research of fNIRS-NF technology, this paper first describes the principle, key technologies and applications of fNIRS-NF, and focuses on the application of fNIRS-NF. Finally, the future development trend of fNIRS-NF is prospected and summarized. In conclusion, this paper summarizes fNIRS-NF technology and its application, and concludes that fNIRS-NF technology has potential practicability in neurological diseases and related fields. fNIRS can be used as a good method for NF training. This paper is expected to provide reference information for the development of fNIRS-NF technology.

In recent years, due to the emergence of ultrafast ultrasound imaging technology, the sensitivity of detecting slow and micro blood flow with ultrasound has been dramatically improved, and functional ultrasound imaging (fUSI) has been developed. fUSI is a novel technology for neurological imaging that utilizes neurovascular coupling to detect the functional activity of the central nervous system (CNS) with high spatiotemporal resolution and high sensitivity, which is dynamic, non-invasive or minimally invasive. fUSI fills the gap between functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and optical imaging with its high accessibility and portability. Moreover, it is compatible with electrophysiological recording and optogenetics. In this paper, we review the developments of fUSI and its applications in neuroimaging. To date, fUSI has been used in various animals ranging from mice to non-human primates, as well as in clinical surgeries and bedside functional brain imaging of neonates. In conclusion, fUSI has great potential in neuroscience research and is expected to become an important tool for neuroscientists, pathologists and pharmacologists.

Cranial defects may result from clinical brain tumor surgery or accidental trauma. The defect skulls require hand-designed skull implants to repair. The edge of the skull implant needs to be accurately matched to the boundary of the skull wound with various defects. For the manual design of cranial implants, it is time-consuming and technically demanding, and the accuracy is low. Therefore, an informer residual attention U-Net (IRA-Unet) for the automatic design of three-dimensional (3D) skull implants was proposed in this paper. Informer was applied from the field of natural language processing to the field of computer vision for attention extraction. Informer attention can extract attention and make the model focus more on the location of the skull defect. Informer attention can also reduce the computation and parameter count from N 2 ). Furthermore,the informer residual attention is constructed. The informer attention and the residual are combined and placed in the position of the model close to the output layer. Thus, the model can select and synthesize the global receptive field and local information to improve the model accuracy and speed up the model convergence. In this paper, the open data set of the AutoImplant 2020 was used for training and testing, and the effects of direct and indirect acquisition of skull implants on the results were compared and analyzed in the experimental part. The experimental results show that the performance of the model is robust on the test set of 110 cases fromAutoImplant 2020. The Dice coefficient and Hausdorff distance are 0.940 4 and 3.686 6, respectively. The proposed model reduces the resources required to run the model while maintaining the accuracy of the cranial implant shape, and effectively assists the surgeon in automating the design of efficient cranial repair, thereby improving the quality of the patient's postoperative recovery.N ). During the automatic reconstruction of panoramic images, the effect of dental arch curve fitting will affect the integrity of the content of the panoramic image. Metal implants in the patient's mouth usually lead to a decrease in the contrast of the panoramic image, which affects the doctor's diagnosis. In this paper, an automatic oral panoramic image reconstruction method was proposed. By calculating key image areas and image extraction fusion algorithms, the dental arch curve could be automatically detected and adjusted on a small number of images, and the intensity distribution of teeth, bone tissue and metal implants on the image could be adjusted to reduce the impact of metal on other tissues, to generate high-quality panoramic images. The method was tested on 50 cases of cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) data with good results, which can effectively improve the quality of panoramic images.

In deep learning-based image registration, the deformable region with complex anatomical structures is an important factor affecting the accuracy of network registration. However, it is difficult for existing methods to pay attention to complex anatomical regions of images. At the same time, the receptive field of the convolutional neural network is limited by the size of its convolution kernel, and it is difficult to learn the relationship between the voxels with far spatial location, making it difficult to deal with the large region deformation problem. Aiming at the above two problems, this paper proposes a cascaded multi-level registration network model based on transformer, and equipped it with a difficult deformable region perceptron based on mean square error. The difficult deformation perceptron uses sliding window and floating window techniques to retrieve the registered images, obtain the difficult deformation coefficient of each voxel, and identify the regions with the worst registration effect. In this study, the cascaded multi-level registration network model adopts the difficult deformation perceptron for hierarchical connection, and the self-attention mechanism is used to extract global features in the basic registration network to optimize the registration results of different scales. The experimental results show that the method proposed in this paper can perform progressive registration of complex deformation regions, thereby optimizing the registration results of brain medical images, which has a good auxiliary effect on the clinical diagnosis of doctors.

As an emerging non-invasive brain stimulation technique, transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) has received increasing attention in the field of stroke disease rehabilitation. However, its efficacy needs to be further studied. The tDCS has three stimulation modes: bipolar-stimulation mode, anode-stimulation mode and cathode-stimulation mode. Nineteen stroke patients were included in this research (10 with left-hemisphere lesion and 9 with right). Resting electroencephalogram (EEG) signals were collected from subjects before and after bipolar-stimulation, anodal-stimulation, cathodal-stimulation, and pseudo-stimulation, with pseudo-stimulation serving as the control group. The changes of multi-scale intrinsic fuzzy entropy (MIFE) of EEG signals before and after stimulation were compared. The results revealed that MIFE was significantly greater in the frontal and central regions after bipolar-stimulation ( P < 0.05), in the left central region after anodal-stimulation ( P < 0.05), and in the frontal and right central regions after cathodal-stimulation ( P < 0.05) in patients with left-hemisphere lesions. MIFE was significantly greater in the frontal, central and parieto-occipital joint regions after bipolar-stimulation ( P < 0.05), in the left frontal and right central regions after anodal- stimulation ( P < 0.05), and in the central and right occipital regions after cathodal-stimulation ( P < 0.05) in patients with right-hemisphere lesions. However, the difference before and after pseudo-stimulation was not statistically significant ( P > 0.05). The results of this paper showed that the bipolar stimulation pattern affected the largest range of brain areas, and it might provide a reference for the clinical study of rehabilitation after stroke.

High resolution (HR) magnetic resonance images (MRI) or computed tomography (CT) images can provide clearer anatomical details of human body, which facilitates early diagnosis of the diseases. However, due to the imaging system, imaging environment and human factors, it is difficult to obtain clear high-resolution images. In this paper, we proposed a novel medical image super resolution (SR) reconstruction method via multi-scale information distillation (MSID) network in the non-subsampled shearlet transform (NSST) domain, namely NSST-MSID network. We first proposed a MSID network that mainly consisted of a series of stacked MSID blocks to fully exploit features from images and effectively restore the low resolution (LR) images to HR images. In addition, most previous methods predict the HR images in the spatial domain, producing over-smoothed outputs while losing texture details. Thus, we viewed the medical image SR task as the prediction of NSST coefficients, which make further MSID network keep richer structure details than that in spatial domain. Finally, the experimental results on our constructed medical image datasets demonstrated that the proposed method was capable of obtaining better peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR), structural similarity (SSIM) and root mean square error (RMSE) values and keeping global topological structure and local texture detail better than other outstanding methods, which achieves good medical image reconstruction effect.

The geometric bone model of patients is an important basis for individualized biomechanical modeling and analysis, formulation of surgical planning, design of surgical guide plate, and customization of artificial joint. In this study, a rapid three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction method based on statistical shape model was proposed for femur. Combined with the patient plain X-ray film data, rapid 3D modeling of individualized patient femur geometry was realized. The average error of 3D reconstruction was 1.597-1.842 mm, and the root mean square error was 1.453-2.341 mm. The average errors of femoral head diameter, cervical shaft angle, offset distance and anteversion angle of the reconstructed model were 0.597 mm, 1.163°, 1.389 mm and 1.354°, respectively. Compared with traditional modeling methods, the new method could achieve rapid 3D reconstruction of femur more accurately in a shorter time. This paper provides a new technology for rapid 3D modeling of bone geometry, which is helpful to promote rapid biomechanical analysis for patients, and provides a new idea for the selection of orthopedic implants and the rapid research and development of customized implants.

Confocal laser endomicroscopy technology can obtain cell-level images in real time and in situ , which can assist doctors in real-time intraoperative diagnosis, but its non-invasiveness makes it difficult to relocate the optical biopsy site. The confocal probe localization algorithm can automatically calculate the coordinates of the probe tip, that is, the coordinates of the optical biopsy site. In this paper, a confocal probe localization algorithm based on region growing and endoscope size prior was proposed. The algorithm detected the probe region by region growing on the probe edge image, then searched for tip points based on a given probe axis, and iteratively optimized it. Finally, based on the single-degree-of-freedom motion characteristics of the probe, the three-dimensional coordinates of the tip of the probe were calculated by using the prior information of the size of the endoscope, which solved the scale uncertainty problem of the monocular camera. The confocal probe localization algorithm was tested on the dataset collected in this paper. The results showed that our algorithm no longer relied on the color information of the probe, avoided the influence of uneven illumination on the gray value of the probe pixels, and had a more robust location accuracy and running speed. Within the length of the probe extending out of the endoscope from 0 to 5 cm, the pixel error could be as low as 11.76 pixels, and the average relative position error could be as low as 1.66 mm, which can achieve the real-time and accurate localization of the confocal probe.

Based on the current study of the influence of mechanical factors on cell behavior which relies heavily on experiments in vivo , a culture chamber with a large uniform strain area containing a linear motor-powered, up-to-20-Hz cell stretch loading device was developed to exert mechanical effects on cells. In this paper, using the strain uniformity as the target and the substrate thickness as the variable, the substrate bottom of the conventional incubation chamber is optimized by using finite element technique, and finally a new three-dimensional model of the incubation chamber with "M" type structure in the section is constructed, and the distribution of strain and displacement fields are detected by 3D-DIC to verify the numerical simulation results. The experimental results showed that the new cell culture chamber increased the accuracy and homogeneous area of strain loading by 49.13% to 52.45% compared with that before optimization. In addition, the morphological changes of tongue squamous carcinoma cells under the same strain and different loading times were initially studied using this novel culture chamber. In conclusion, the novel cell culture chamber constructed in this paper combines the advantages of previous techniques to deliver uniform and accurate strains for a wide range of cell mechanobiology studies.

Active medical device is a kind of medical device which is widely used. In order to realize the goal of high-quality development, product with high reliability is a necessary requirement for the domestic active medical device industry. By means of literature research, data collection, field research, materials comprehensive combing and analysis, this paper systematically analyzes and studies the current situations and the existing problems of reliability and evaluation from the dimensions of Chinese active medical device industry policy, enterprise situation and evaluation method. In addition, by considering the technical characteristics of reliability work, concrete suggestions for solving the problems are given from the directions of standard and guiding principle, so as to provide reference for active medical device industry to develop scientific and objective reliability technical standard system and guiding principle, which are in accord with the current characteristics of Chinese active medical device industry and supervision.

Power supply plays a key role in ensuring animal robots to obtain effective stimulation. To extending the stimulating time, there is a need to apply photovoltaic cells and monitor their parameter variations, which can help operators to obtain the optimal stimulation strategy. In this paper, an online monitoring system of photovoltaic cells for animal robot stimulators was presented. It was composed of battery information sampling circuit, multi-channel neural signal generator, power module and human-computer interaction interface. When the signal generator was working, remote navigation control of animal robot could be achieved, and the battery voltage, current, temperature and electricity information was collected through the battery information sampling circuit and displayed on the human-computer interaction system in real time. If there was any abnormal status, alarm would be activated. The battery parameters were obtained by charging and discharging test. The battery life under different light intensity and the stimulation effect of neural signal generator were tested. Results showed that the sampling errors of battery voltage, current and electric quantity were less than 15 mV, 5 mA and 6 mAh, respectively. Compared with the system without photovoltaic cells, the battery life was extended by 148% at the light intensity of 78 320 lx, solving the battery life problem to some extent. When animal robot was stimulated with this system, left and right turns could be controlled to complete with the success rate more than 80%. It will help researchers to optimize animal robot control strategies through the parameters obtained in this system.

To solve the problems of small one-time ablation range and easy charring of the tissue around the electrode associated with the tumor radiofrequency ablation needle, based on the multiphysical field coupling analysis software COMSOL, the effects of needle material, the number of sub needles and the bending angle of sub needles on the ablation effect of radiofrequency ablation electrode needle were studied. The results show that compared with titanium alloy and stainless steel, nickel titanium alloy has better radiofrequency energy transmission efficiency and it is the best material for electrode needle. The number of sub needles has a great influence on the average necrosis depth and the maximum necrosis diameter. Under the same conditions, the more the number of sub needles, the larger the volume of coagulation necrosis area. The bending angle of the needle has a great effect on the maximum diameter of the coagulated necrotic area, but has little effect on the average necrotic depth. Under the same other conditions, the coagulation necrosis area formed by ablation increased with the increase of the bending angle of the sub needle. For the three needles with bending angles of 60 °, 90 ° and 120 ° analyzed in this paper, the one with bending angle of 120 ° can obtain the largest coagulation necrosis area. In general, the design of nickel titanium alloy with 120 ° bending 8-pin is the optimal. The average depth of radiofrequency ablation necrosis area is 32.40 mm, and the maximum necrosis diameter is 52.65 mm. The above optimized design parameters can provide guidance for the structure and material design of tumor radiofrequency ablation needle.

Cutaneous malignant melanoma is a common malignant tumor. Accurate segmentation of the lesion area is extremely important for early diagnosis of the disease. In order to achieve more effective and accurate segmentation of skin lesions, a parallel network architecture based on Transformer is proposed in this paper. This network is composed of two parallel branches: the former is the newly constructed multiple residual frequency channel attention network (MFC), and the latter is the visual transformer network (ViT). First, in the MFC network branch, the multiple residual module and the frequency channel attention module (FCA) module are fused to improve the robustness of the network and enhance the capability of extracting image detailed features. Second, in the ViT network branch, multiple head self-attention (MSA) in Transformer is used to preserve the global features of the image. Finally, the feature information extracted from the two branches are combined in parallel to realize image segmentation more effectively. To verify the proposed algorithm, we conducted experiments on the dermoscopy image dataset published by the International Skin Imaging Collaboration (ISIC) in 2018. The results show that the intersection-over-union (IoU) and Dice coefficients of the proposed algorithm achieve 90.15% and 94.82%, respectively, which are better than the latest skin melanoma segmentation networks. Therefore, the proposed network can better segment the lesion area and provide dermatologists with more accurate lesion data.

[ Abstract ]Automatic and accurate segmentation of lung parenchyma is essential for assisted diagnosis of lung cancer. In recent years, researchers in the field of deep learning have proposed a number of improved lung parenchyma segmentation methods based on U-Net. However, the existing segmentation methods ignore the complementary fusion of semantic information in the feature map between different layers and fail to distinguish the importance of different spaces and channels in the feature map. To solve this problem, this paper proposes the double scale parallel attention (DSPA) network (DSPA-Net) architecture, and introduces the DSPA module and the atrous spatial pyramid pooling (ASPP) module in the "encoder-decoder" structure. Among them, the DSPA module aggregates the semantic information of feature maps of different levels while obtaining accurate space and channel information of feature map with the help of cooperative attention (CA). The ASPP module uses multiple parallel convolution kernels with different void rates to obtain feature maps containing multi-scale information under different receptive fields. The two modules address multi-scale information processing in feature maps of different levels and in feature maps of the same level, respectively. We conducted experimental verification on the Kaggle competition dataset. The experimental results prove that the network architecture has obvious advantages compared with the current mainstream segmentation network. The values of dice similarity coefficient (DSC) and intersection on union (IoU) reached 0.972 ± 0.002 and 0.945 ± 0.004, respectively. This paper achieves automatic and accurate segmentation of lung parenchyma and provides a reference for the application of attentional mechanisms and multi-scale information in the field of lung parenchyma segmentation.

In unicompartmental replacement surgery, there are a wide variety of commercially available unicompartmental prostheses, and the consistency of the contact surface between the common liner and the femoral prosthesis could impact the stress distribution in the knee after replacement in different ways. Medial tibial plateau fracture and liner dislocation are two common forms of failure after unicompartmental replacement. One of the reasons is the mismatch in the mounting position of the unicompartmental prosthesis in the knee joint, which may lead to failure. Therefore, this paper focuses on the influence of the shape of the contact surface between the liner and the femoral prosthesis and the mounting position of the unicompartmental prosthesis on the stress distribution in the knee joint after replacement. Firstly, a finite element model of the normal human knee joint was established, and the validity of the model was verified by both stress and displacement. Secondly, two different shapes of padded knee prosthesis models (type A and type B) were developed to simulate and analyze the stress distribution in the knee joint under single-leg stance with five internal or external rotation mounting positions of the two pads. The results showed that under a 1 kN axial load, the peak contact pressure of the liner, the peak ACL equivalent force, and the peak contact pressure of the lateral meniscus were smaller for type A than for type B. The liner displacement, peak contact pressure of the liner, peak tibial equivalent force, and peak ACL equivalent force were the smallest for type A at 3° of internal rotation in all five internal or external rotation mounting positions. For unicompartmental replacement, it is recommended that the choice of type A or type B liner for prosthetic internal rotation up to 6° should be combined with other factors of the patient for comprehensive analysis. In conclusion, the results of this paper may reduce the risk of liner dislocation and medial tibial plateau fracture after unicompartmental replacement, providing a biomechanical reference for unicompartmental prosthesis design.

ST segment morphology is closely related to cardiovascular disease. It is used not only for characterizing different diseases, but also for predicting the severity of the disease. However, the short duration, low energy, variable morphology and interference from various noises make ST segment morphology classification a difficult task. In this paper, we address the problems of single feature extraction and low classification accuracy of ST segment morphology classification, and use the gradient of ST surface to improve the accuracy of ST segment morphology multi-classification. In this paper, we identify five ST segment morphologies: normal, upward-sloping elevation, arch-back elevation, horizontal depression, and arch-back depression. Firstly, we select an ST segment candidate segment according to the QRS wave group location and medical statistical law. Secondly, we extract ST segment area, mean value, difference with reference baseline, slope, and mean squared error features. In addition, the ST segment is converted into a surface, the gradient features of the ST surface are extracted, and the morphological features are formed into a feature vector. Finally, the support vector machine is used to classify the ST segment, and then the ST segment morphology is multi-classified. The MIT-Beth Israel Hospital Database (MITDB) and the European ST-T database (EDB) were used as data sources to validate the algorithm in this paper, and the results showed that the algorithm in this paper achieved an average recognition rate of 97.79% and 95.60%, respectively, in the process of ST segment recognition. Based on the results of this paper, it is expected that this method can be introduced in the clinical setting in the future to provide morphological guidance for the diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases in the clinic and improve the diagnostic efficiency.

Remarkable results have been realized by the U-Net network in the task of medical image segmentation. In recent years, many scholars have been researching the network and expanding its structure, such as improvement of encoder and decoder and improvement of skip connection. Based on the optimization of U-Net structure and its medical image segmentation techniques, this paper elucidates in the following: First, the paper elaborates on the application of U-Net in the field of medical image segmentation; Then, the paper summarizes the seven improvement mechanism of U-Net: dense connection mechanism, residual connection mechanism, multi-scale mechanism, ensemble mechanism, dilated mechanism, attention mechanism, and transformer mechanism; Finally, the paper states the ideas and methods on the U-Net structure improvement in a bid to provide a reference for later researches, which plays a significant part in advancing U-Net.

With the increasing prominence of population aging, the cognitive decline of the elderly has gradually become a hotspot of clinical research. As a traditional rehabilitation exercise, Tai Chi has been proved to have a positive effect on improving cognitive function and delaying cognitive decline in the elderly. However, the related brain function mechanism is still unclear. In this paper, we collected studies which observed the changes of Tai Chi on brain regions related to cognitive function in the elderly using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), electroencephalogram (EEG) and functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS). We summarized relevant studies from perspective of structural and functional changes in the brain. The results showed that Tai Chi may delay and improve cognitive decline in the elderly by reshaping the structure and function of brain regions related to cognitive function such as memory, attention and execution. The effect of Tai Chi for cognitive function may be associated with positive regulation of cardiovascular function, emotion and meditation level of the elderly. In addition, the improvement of cognitive function further enhances the balance of the elderly. We also found that practice time, frequency and intensity of Tai Chi could be factors influencing the improvement of cognitive function and brain function in the elderly.

The eye-computer interaction technology based on electro-oculogram provides the users with a convenient way to control the device, which has great social significance. However, the eye-computer interaction is often disturbed by the involuntary eye movements, resulting in misjudgment, affecting the users' experience, and even causing danger in severe cases. Therefore, this paper starts from the basic concepts and principles of eye-computer interaction, sorts out the current mainstream classification methods of voluntary/involuntary eye movement, and analyzes the characteristics of each technology. The performance analysis is carried out in combination with specific application scenarios, and the problems to be solved are further summarized, which are expected to provide research references for researchers in related fields.

Currently, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) has been widely used in the treatment of depression, Parkinson's disease and other neurological diseases. To be able to monitor the brain's internal activity during TMS in real time and achieve better treatment outcomes, the researchers proposed combining TMS with neuroimaging methods such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), both of which use Tesla-level magnetic fields. However, the combination of strong current, large magnetic field and small size is likely to bring physical concerns which can lead to mechanical and thermal instability. In this paper, the MRI static magnetic field, the TMS coil and human head model were built according to the actual situations. Through the coupling of the magnetic field and the heat transfer module in the finite element simulation software COMSOL, the force and temperature of the TMS coil and head were obtained when the TMS was used in combination with MRI (TMS-MRI technology). The results showed that in a 3 T MRI environment, the maximum force density on the coil could reach 2.51 × 10 9 N/m 3 . Both the direction of the external magnetic field and the current direction in the coil affected the force distributions. The closer to the boundary of the external magnetic field, the greater the force. The magnetic field generated by the coil during TMS treatment increased the temperature of the brain tissue by about 0.16 °C, and the presence of the MRI static magnetic field did not cause additional thermal effects. The results of this paper can provide a reference for the development of the use guidelines and safety guidelines of TMS-MRI technology.

With the development of computer and digital technology, the application of computer-aided technology has become a new trend in the field of oral implant. Computer-guided oral implant surgery has the advantages of being safer and more accurate than traditional implant surgery, and it can truly realize the concept of restoration-oriented implant. However, computer-guided oral implant surgery has various steps which cause deviations accumulation, so that some clinicians remain sceptical about the accuracy of the technology. Currently, due to the lack of a quantitative system for evaluating the accuracy of computer-guided oral implantation, the implant deviation in each step is still inconclusively in the stage of research and debate. The purpose of this paper is to summarize the advantages and disadvantages, research progress, accuracy and influencing factors of computer-guided oral implantation, aiming to provide a reference for improving implant accuracy and guiding clinical design and surgery.

Blood velocity inversion based on magnetoelectric effect is helpful for the development of daily monitoring of vascular stenosis, but the accuracy of blood velocity inversion and imaging resolution still need to be improved. Therefore, a convolutional neural network (CNN) based inversion imaging method for intravascular blood flow velocity was proposed in this paper. Firstly, unsupervised learning CNN is constructed to extract weight matrix representation information to preprocess voltage data. Then the preprocessing results are input to supervised learning CNN, and the blood flow velocity value is output by nonlinear mapping. Finally, angiographic images are obtained. In this paper, the validity of the proposed method is verified by constructing data set. The results show that the correlation coefficients of blood velocity inversion in vessel location and stenosis test are 0.884 4 and 0.972 1, respectively. The above research shows that the proposed method can effectively reduce the information loss during the inversion process and improve the inversion accuracy and imaging resolution, which is expected to assist clinical diagnosis.

Accurate segmentation of ground glass nodule (GGN) is important in clinical. But it is a tough work to segment the GGN, as the GGN in the computed tomography images show blur boundary, irregular shape, and uneven intensity. This paper aims to segment GGN by proposing a fully convolutional residual network, i.e. , residual network based on atrous spatial pyramid pooling structure and attention mechanism (ResAANet). The network uses atrous spatial pyramid pooling (ASPP) structure to expand the feature map receptive field and extract more sufficient features, and utilizes attention mechanism, residual connection, long skip connection to fully retain sensitive features, which is extracted by the convolutional layer. First, we employ 565 GGN provided by Shanghai Chest Hospital to train and validate ResAANet, so as to obtain a stable model. Then, two groups of data selected from clinical examinations (84 GGN) and lung image database consortium (LIDC) dataset (145 GGN) were employed to validate and evaluate the performance of the proposed method. Finally, we apply the best threshold method to remove false positive regions and obtain optimized results. The average dice similarity coefficient (DSC) of the proposed algorithm on the clinical dataset and LIDC dataset reached 83.46%, 83.26% respectively, the average Jaccard index (IoU) reached 72.39%, 71.56% respectively, and the speed of segmentation reached 0.1 seconds per image. Comparing with other reported methods, our new method could segment GGN accurately, quickly and robustly. It could provide doctors with important information such as nodule size or density, which assist doctors in subsequent diagnosis and treatment.

The count and recognition of white blood cells in blood smear images play an important role in the diagnosis of blood diseases including leukemia. Traditional manual test results are easily disturbed by many factors. It is necessary to develop an automatic leukocyte analysis system to provide doctors with auxiliary diagnosis, and blood leukocyte segmentation is the basis of automatic analysis. In this paper, we improved the U-Net model and proposed a segmentation algorithm of leukocyte image based on dual path and atrous spatial pyramid pooling. Firstly, the dual path network was introduced into the feature encoder to extract multi-scale leukocyte features, and the atrous spatial pyramid pooling was used to enhance the feature extraction ability of the network. Then the feature decoder composed of convolution and deconvolution was used to restore the segmented target to the original image size to realize the pixel level segmentation of blood leukocytes. Finally, qualitative and quantitative experiments were carried out on three leukocyte data sets to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm. The results showed that compared with other representative algorithms, the proposed blood leukocyte segmentation algorithm had better segmentation results, and the mIoU value could reach more than 0.97. It is hoped that the method could be conducive to the automatic auxiliary diagnosis of blood diseases in the future.

The pulse amplitude of fingertip volume could be improved by selecting the vascular dense area and applying appropriate pressure above it. In view of this phenomenon, this paper used Comsol Multiphysics 5.6 (Comsol, Sweden), the finite element analysis software of multi-physical field coupling simulation, to establish the vascular tissue model of a single small artery in fingertips for simulation. Three dimensional Navier-Stokes equations were solved by finite element method, the velocity field and pressure distribution of blood were calculated, and the deformation of blood vessels and surrounding tissues was analyzed. Based on Lambert Beer's Law, the influence of the longitudinal compression displacement of the lateral light surface region and the tissue model on the light intensity signal is investigated. The results show that the light intensity signal amplitude could be increased and its peak value could be reduced by selecting the area with dense blood vessels. Applying deep pressure to the tissue increased the amplitude and peak of the signal. It is expected that the simulation results combined with the previous experimental experience could provide a feasible scheme for improving the quality of finger volume pulse signal.

Glioma is a primary brain tumor with high incidence rate. High-grade gliomas (HGG) are those with the highest degree of malignancy and the lowest degree of survival. Surgical resection and postoperative adjuvant chemoradiotherapy are often used in clinical treatment, so accurate segmentation of tumor-related areas is of great significance for the treatment of patients. In order to improve the segmentation accuracy of HGG, this paper proposes a multi-modal glioma semantic segmentation network with multi-scale feature extraction and multi-attention fusion mechanism. The main contributions are, (1) Multi-scale residual structures were used to extract features from multi-modal gliomas magnetic resonance imaging (MRI); (2) Two types of attention modules were used for features aggregating in channel and spatial; (3) In order to improve the segmentation performance of the whole network, the branch classifier was constructed using ensemble learning strategy to adjust and correct the classification results of the backbone classifier. The experimental results showed that the Dice coefficient values of the proposed segmentation method in this article were 0.909 7, 0.877 3 and 0.839 6 for whole tumor, tumor core and enhanced tumor respectively, and the segmentation results had good boundary continuity in the three-dimensional direction. Therefore, the proposed semantic segmentation network has good segmentation performance for high-grade gliomas lesions.

Photoplethysmography (PPG) is a non-invasive technique to measure heart rate at a lower cost, and it has been recently widely used in smart wearable devices. However, as PPG is easily affected by noises under high-intensity movement, the measured heart rate in sports has low precision. To tackle the problem, this paper proposed a heart rate extraction algorithm based on self-adaptive heart rate separation model. The algorithm firstly preprocessed acceleration and PPG signals, from which cadence and heart rate history were extracted respectively. A self-adaptive model was made based on the connection between the extracted information and current heart rate, and to output possible domain of the heart rate accordingly. The algorithm proposed in this article removed the interference from strong noises by narrowing the domain of real heart rate. From experimental results on the PPG dataset used in 2015 IEEE Signal Processing Cup, the average absolute error on 12 training sets was 1.12 beat per minute (bpm) (Pearson correlation coefficient: 0.996; consistency error: -0.184 bpm). The average absolute error on 10 testing sets was 3.19 bpm (Pearson correlation coefficient: 0.990; consistency error: 1.327 bpm). From experimental results, the algorithm proposed in this paper can effectively extract heart rate information under noises and has the potential to be put in usage in smart wearable devices.

Motor imagery electroencephalogram (EEG) signals are non-stationary time series with a low signal-to-noise ratio. Therefore, the single-channel EEG analysis method is difficult to effectively describe the interaction characteristics between multi-channel signals. This paper proposed a deep learning network model based on the multi-channel attention mechanism. First, we performed time-frequency sparse decomposition on the pre-processed data, which enhanced the difference of time-frequency characteristics of EEG signals. Then we used the attention module to map the data in time and space so that the model could make full use of the data characteristics of different channels of EEG signals. Finally, the improved time-convolution network (TCN) was used for feature fusion and classification. The BCI competition IV-2a data set was used to verify the proposed algorithm. The experimental results showed that the proposed algorithm could effectively improve the classification accuracy of motor imagination EEG signals, which achieved an average accuracy of 83.03% for 9 subjects. Compared with the existing methods, the classification accuracy of EEG signals was improved. With the enhanced difference features between different motor imagery EEG data, the proposed method is important for the study of improving classifier performance.

In recent years, exploring the physiological and pathological mechanisms of brain functional integration from the neural network level has become one of the focuses of neuroscience research. Due to the non-stationary and nonlinear characteristics of neural signals, its linear characteristics are not sufficient to fully explain the potential neurophysiological activity mechanism in the implementation of complex brain functions. In order to overcome the limitation that the linear algorithm cannot effectively analyze the nonlinear characteristics of signals, researchers proposed the transfer entropy (TE) algorithm. In recent years, with the introduction of the concept of brain functional network, TE has been continuously optimized as a powerful tool for nonlinear time series multivariate analysis. This paper first introduces the principle of TE algorithm and the research progress of related improved algorithms, discusses and compares their respective characteristics, and then summarizes the application of TE algorithm in the field of electrophysiological signal analysis. Finally, combined with the research progress in recent years, the existing problems of TE are discussed, and the future development direction is prospected.

Liposome is an ideal drug carrier with many advantages such as excellent biocompatibility, non-immunogenicity, and easy functionalization, and has been used for the clinical treatment of many diseases including tumors. For the treatment of tumors, liposome has some passive targeting capability, but the passive targeting effect alone is very limited in improving the drug enrichment in tumor tissues, and active targeting is an effective strategy to improve the drug enrichment. Therefore, active targeting liposome drug-carriers have been extensively studied for decades. In this paper, we review the research progresses on active targeting liposome drug-carriers based on the specific binding of the carriers to the surface of tumor cells, and summarize the opportunities, challenges and future prospects in this field.

Lung cancer is the most threatening tumor disease to human health. Early detection is crucial to improve the survival rate and recovery rate of lung cancer patients. Existing methods use the two-dimensional multi-view framework to learn lung nodules features and simply integrate multi-view features to achieve the classification of benign and malignant lung nodules. However, these methods suffer from the problems of not capturing the spatial features effectively and ignoring the variability of multi-views. Therefore, this paper proposes a three-dimensional (3D) multi-view convolutional neural network (MVCNN) framework. To further solve the problem of different views in the multi-view model, a 3D multi-view squeeze-and-excitation convolution neural network (MVSECNN) model is constructed by introducing the squeeze-and-excitation (SE) module in the feature fusion stage. Finally, statistical methods are used to analyze model predictions and doctor annotations. In the independent test set, the classification accuracy and sensitivity of the model were 96.04% and 98.59% respectively, which were higher than other state-of-the-art methods. The consistency score between the predictions of the model and the pathological diagnosis results was 0.948, which is significantly higher than that between the doctor annotations and the pathological diagnosis results. The methods presented in this paper can effectively learn the spatial heterogeneity of lung nodules and solve the problem of multi-view differences. At the same time, the classification of benign and malignant lung nodules can be achieved, which is of great significance for assisting doctors in clinical diagnosis.

The judgment of the type of arrhythmia is the key to the prevention and diagnosis of early cardiovascular disease. Therefore, electrocardiogram (ECG) analysis has been widely used as an important basis for doctors to diagnose. However, due to the large differences in ECG signal morphology among different patients and the unbalanced distribution of categories, the existing automatic detection algorithms for arrhythmias have certain difficulties in the identification process. This paper designs a variable scale fusion network model for automatic recognition of heart rhythm types. In this study, a variable-scale fusion network model was proposed for automatic identification of heart rhythm types. The improved ECG generation network (EGAN) module was used to solve the imbalance of ECG data, and the ECG signal was reproduced in two dimensions in the form of gray recurrence plot (GRP) and spectrogram. Combined with the branching structure of the model, the automatic classification of variable-length heart beats was realized. The results of the study were verified by the Massachusetts institute of technology and Beth Israel hospital (MIT-BIH) arrhythmia database, which distinguished eight heart rhythm types. The average accuracy rate reached 99.36%, and the sensitivity and specificity were 96.11% and 99.84%, respectively. In conclusion, it is expected that this method can be used for clinical auxiliary diagnosis and smart wearable devices in the future.

The automatic recognition technology of muscle fatigue has widespread application in the field of kinesiology and rehabilitation medicine. In this paper, we used surface electromyography (sEMG) to study the recognition of leg muscle fatigue during circuit resistance training. The purpose of this study was to solve the problem that the sEMG signals have a lot of noise interference and the recognition accuracy of the existing muscle fatigue recognition model is not high enough. First, we proposed an improved wavelet threshold function denoising algorithm to denoise the sEMG signal. Then, we build a muscle fatigue state recognition model based on long short-term memory (LSTM), and used the Holdout method to evaluate the performance of the model. Finally, the denoising effect of the improved wavelet threshold function denoising method proposed in this paper was compared with the denoising effect of the traditional wavelet threshold denoising method. We compared the performance of the proposed muscle fatigue recognition model with that of particle swarm optimization support vector machine (PSO-SVM) and convolutional neural network (CNN). The results showed that the new wavelet threshold function had better denoising performance than hard and soft threshold functions. The accuracy of LSTM network model in identifying muscle fatigue was 4.89% and 2.47% higher than that of PSO-SVM and CNN, respectively. The sEMG signal denoising method and muscle fatigue recognition model proposed in this paper have important implications for monitoring muscle fatigue during rehabilitation training and exercise.

Microfluidics is the science and technology to manipulate small amounts of fluids in micro/nano-scale space. Multiple modules could be integrated into microfluidic device, and due to its advantages of microminiaturization and controllability, microfluidics has drawn extensive attention since its birth. In this paper, the literature data related to microfluidics research from January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2021 were obtained from Web of Science Core Collection database. CiteSpace 5.8.R3 software was used for bibliometrics analysis, so as to explore the research progress and development trends of microfluidics research at home and abroad. Based on the analysis of 50 129 articles, it could be seen that microfluidics was a hot topic of global concern, and the United States had a certain degree of authority in this field. Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University not only had a high number of publications, but also had strong influence and extensive cooperation network. Combined with ultrasonic, surface modification and sensor technology, researchers constructed paper-based microfluidic, droplet microfluidic and digital microfluidic platforms, which were applied in the field of immediate diagnosis, nucleic acid and circulating tumor cell analysis of in vitro diagnosis and organ-on-a-chip. China was one of the countries with a high level of research in the field of microfluidics, while the industrialization of high-end products needed to be improved. As people's demand for disease risk prediction and health management increased, promoting microfluidic technological innovation and achievement transformation is of great significance to safeguard people's life and health.

Interventional embolization therapy is widely used for procedures such as targeted tumour therapy, anti-organ hyperactivity and haemostasis. During embolic agent injection, doctors need to work under X-ray irradiation environment. Moreover, embolic agent injection is largely dependent on doctors' experience and feelings, and over-injection of embolic agent can lead to reflux, causing ectopic embolism and serious complications. As an effective way to reduce radiation exposure and improve the success rate of interventional embolization therapy, embolic agent injection robot is highly anticipated, but how to decide the injection flow velocity of embolic agent is a problem that remains to be solved. On the basis of fluid dynamics simulation and experiment, we established an arterial pressure-injection flow velocity boundary curve model that can avoid reflux, which provides a design basis for the control of embolic agent injection system. An in vitro experimental platform for injection system was built and validation experiments were conducted. The results showed that the embolic agent injection flow speed curve designed under the guidance of the critical flow speed curve model of reflux could effectively avoid the embolic agent reflux and shorten the embolic agent injection time. Exceeding the flow speed limit of the model would lead to the risk of embolization of normal blood vessels. This paper confirms the validity of designing the embolic agent injection flow speed based on the critical flow speed curve model of reflux, which can achieve rapid injection of embolic agent while avoiding reflux, and provide a basis for the design of the embolic agent injection robot.

Transcranial magneto-acoustic-electrical stimulation is a new non-invasive neuromodulation technology, in which the induced electric field generated by the coupling effect of ultrasound and static magnetic field are used to regulate the neural rhythm oscillation activity in the corresponding brain region. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effects of transcranial magneto-acoustic-electrical stimulation on the information transfer and communication in neuronal clusters during memory. In the experiment, twenty healthy adult Wistar rats were randomly divided into a control group (five rats) and stimulation groups (fifteen rats). Transcranial magneto-acoustic-electrical stimulation of 0.05~0.15 T and 2.66~13.33 W/cm 2 was applied to the rats in stimulation groups, and no stimulation was applied to the rats in the control group. The local field potentials signals in the prefrontal cortex of rats during the T-maze working memory tasks were acquired. Then the coupling differences between delta rhythm phase, theta rhythm phase and gamma rhythm amplitude of rats in different parameter stimulation groups and control group were compared. The experimental results showed that the coupling intensity of delta and gamma rhythm in stimulation groups was significantly lower than that in the control group ( P <0.05), while the coupling intensity of theta and gamma rhythm was significantly higher than that in the control group ( P <0.05). With the increase of stimulation parameters, the degree of coupling between delta and gamma rhythm showed a decreasing trend, while the degree of coupling between theta and gamma rhythm tended to increase. The preliminary results of this paper indicated that transcranial magneto-acoustic-electrical stimulation inhibited delta rhythmic neuronal activity and enhanced the oscillation of theta and gamma rhythm in the prefrontal cortex, thus promoted the exchange and transmission of information between neuronal clusters in different spatial scales. This lays the foundation for further exploring the mechanism of transcranial magneto-acoustic-electrical stimulation in regulating brain memory function.
