The effect of nanoparticles in the nanofluid on the thermal performance in a miniature thermosyphon is investigated. The results have shown that the heat transfer performance of the miniature thermosyphon can be strengthened by using water-CuO nanofluids.

An investigation is carried out for predicting the critical heat flux (CHF) of steady boiling for a round sub cooled water jet impingement on the flat stagnation zone is presented. It is measured in a steady nucleate boiling state.

A study is carried out for predicting the critical heat flux (CHF) of convective boiling for round saturated water jet impinging on the jet stagnation zone. A semi-theoretical correlation was proposed for predicting CHF of convective boiling for saturated water jet impinging on the jet stagnation zone.
