A study examines the economics of a Finnish paper mill from 2001-2007 to investigate the correlation of its variables of prices, costs and logistics with its profits. Findings suggest that the profits in the Nordic paper mill are adversely affected by low paper prices and costly logistics, which could be offset by an increased production capacity and delivery of larger volumes of paper.

The usage of electronic information transfer in contemporary business-to-business (B2B) processes is discussed. Three main factors in implementing information and communications technology in business-to-business process are further discussed.
