Abstract

A study is conducted to establish whether regulated treadmill exercise and resistance training help improve the functional performance of patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD) with and without intermittent claudication. Results indicate that the exercises improve walking performance and quality-of-life measures in patients with peripheral arterial disease with and without intermittent claudication.
