The article discusses the delivery of functional dystrophin immunity in the case of patients with Duchenne' s muscular dystrophy, an x-linked, genetically inherited disease affecting newborn boys. The monitoring of cellular immune responses should be a top priority in the case of any therapy aimed at increasing the number dystrophin positive fibers in the case of such patients.
