Abstract

Research has been conducted on the C-glycosides derived from alpha-L-fuco-, alpha-D-gluco-, beta-D-gluco- and alpha-D-mannopyranose. The synthesis of these C-glycosides has been carried out from glycosyl phenyl sulfoxide via phenylsulfinyl-lithium exchange to generate anomeric carbanion.
