Abstract

Research has been conducted on caveolin scaffolding region. The lateral organization of this region in synthetic phospholipid vesicles which contain acidic lipids and cholesterol has been studied, and the results demonstrate that caveolin scaffolding region acts as a signal transduction inhibitor.
