Abstract

Peptide immunogens induce anti-idiotypic antibodies which prevent myasthenia gravis. The growth of experimental autoimmune myasthenia gravis (EAMG), encoded to the Torpedo acetylcholine receptor (AChR), was prevented by RhCA 67-16 immunization. Low levels of AChR, when injected in animals, reduced the levels of AChRb.
