Abstract: Research involving the Samsung Superconductor Test facility (SSTF) at the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT) is discussed. Initially, the goal is to test samples of the cable in conduit conductor (CICC) for the Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research (KSTAR) magnets with fast-varying electromagnetic disturbances.
