The emergence of blockchain technology, characterized by its immutable and decentralized digital ledger system, has sparked significant interest due to its potential to revolutionize several industries. Simultaneously, Long-Term Evolution (LTE) networks have emerged as the fundamental infrastructure for facilitating high-speed wireless communication. The correlation between these two technologies is still a subject that has yet to be well studied despite its potential significance for addressing the scalability issues of blockchain. The article aimed to explore the possible advantages and improvements that might arise from integrating Long-Term Evolution (LTE) networks into blockchain systems, with a specific emphasis on scalability, reliability, and efficiency. This study introduced a unique framework, incorporating Long-Term Evolution (LTE) as a supplementary communication layer to enhance the current Peer-to-Peer (P2P) blockchain architecture. The comprehensive studies included powerful simulation models, practical testing, and comparison analysis against widely used scaling options such as Layer 2 protocols and sharding. Results: The experimental findings indicate that integrating LTE technology with blockchain resulted in a substantial increase in transaction throughput and a noteworthy decrease in confirmation times. Significantly, this innovation did not compromise the inherent decentralized character of the blockchain. Moreover, the LTE-augmented blockchain exhibits a higher resilience level than conventional blockchain systems when faced with common network risks, like Sybil and Eclipse assaults. Long-Term Evolution (LTE) networks in blockchain systems create a collaborative telecom-blockchain framework. This combination could benefit banking, supply chain management, and the Internet of Things. The findings show that LTE networks help blockchain technology scale and survive.
