Background In the context of population aging, the care needs of the disabled elderly cannot be ignored. A comprehensive understanding of the care and support needs of the elderly with disabilities can provide basis for government policymakers in the development of rational care strategies. Objective To systematically review qualitative studies on the care and support needs of the disabled elderly. Methods In this study, a systematic search of Web of Science, PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, CNKI, Wanfang Data, and CBM for relevant qualitative studies was conducted from inception to February 26, 2023. The Joanna Briggs Institute's Critical Appraisal Tool for qualitative studies was performed to evaluate the quality of included qualitative studies. The results of the original qualitative studies were synthesized through a pooled integration approach. Results A total of 33 qualitative studies were finally included, and 7 themes with 18 categories were distilled, including daily activities-related needs (basic activities of daily living, household activities, and caregiving characteristics) , functional independence-related needs (independence in physical functioning, independence in autonomous decision-making) , health care-related needs (content of health care services, health care service experience, expression of needs for health care services) , contextual support-related needs (objective environmental support, policy support) , positive emotional support-related needs (psychological comfort, spiritual care) , social support-related needs (community support services, social engagement, relationship connection, information linkage) , health technology-related needs (care auxiliary equipment, technical services) . Conclusion The care and support needs of the disabled elderly are both complex and diverse. To meet the physical, psychological, social, healthy and environmental needs of the disabled elderly, it is essential for the government to integrate resources from family, community and institutions. Furthermore, attention should be given to the equitable of care resources from a group perspective, and additional social welfare should be provided to support the disabled elderly.

Background As the prevalence of hypertension in China's rural areas is very high, hypertension management in these areas is particularly important. Objective To summarize the characteristics and weaknesses of hypertension management in Shandong's rural areas using the Innovative Care for Chronic Conditions Framework (ICCC) proposed by the WHO, and to put forward targeted recommendations. Methods According to the socio-economic level and geographical distribution of hypertension prevalence, three county-level centers for disease control and prevention, 9 town health centers and 36 village clinics were selected from A county of Heze, B district of Jinan and C city of Weihai in Shandong Province, from which 84 cases (including individuals responsible for hypertension management programs, medical workers and hypertensive patients) were selected from June to July 2021 using a purposive sampling method to attend a face-to-face semi-structured interview for understanding the status of hypertension management in Shandong's rural areas. NVivo 12 and Qualitative Data Analysis Model proposed by MILES and HUBERMAN, were used to encode and analyse the interview results using the macro-, meso- and micro-level components of the ICCC. Results A total of 13 themes and 51 subthemes were derived from the analysis at three levels. At the macro level, the implementation of hypertension management in Shandong's rural areas was generally in a positive policy environment, such as implementing national policies regarding chronic disease management and publicizing chronic disease management, but the policy framework was not complete, the integration within the departments in the health system was poor, and shortages of professional hypertension managers and sufficient financial support were serious. At the meso level, various medical institutions strived to promote the continuity of medical services, but the organization and deployment of family doctor teams and the promotion and use of information systems still needed to be further strengthened. At the micro level, the cooperation between patients and their families and the family doctor team needed to be improved, and the involvement of patients and their families in hypertension management should be enhanced as well. Conclusion The implementation of hypertension management in Shandong's rural areas is good generally, but the following efforts should be made for improvements: vigorously strengthening the leadership and supervision role of the government, formulating and integrating relevant policies, and promoting the integration of relevant departments; increasing financial support, and addressing the relatively shortage of health human resources and improving the weakness of informatization construction in rural areas to promote the delivery of high-quality medical services; attaching importance to the interaction between patients and families, health service team and community partners to promote patients' self-management.

To solve the problem that the flow of robot spraying liquid damping glue cannot automatically adapt to the actual situation in the process of automobile manufacturing, a relational mapping model between spraying flow and production vehicle serial number was established based on robot Karel program and production big data. By compiling the bottom code program executable by the robot, the functional relationship between the serial number of production vehicle and the proportional coefficient of the original spraying flow value for each vehicle and the monitored flow value was automatically calculated, and the actual spraying flow value for each vehicle was automatically calibrated based on the original process parameters. Finally, automatic flow calibration of robot spraying liquid damping glue was realized. The actual spraying flow of each production vehicle fluctuated up and down around the monitored flow value, and the fluctuation range was controlled within ±3%, which met the requirements of automobile manufacturing regarding the stability of spraying quality.

the purpose of this study was to explore the effect of “modular” nursing intervention on Ranoxifene in the treatment of patients with postmenopausal osteoporosis. A total of 108 patients with postmenopausal osteoporosis who were accepted by the Department of Orthopaedics in our hospital were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method and they were divided into two groups (the intervention group and the control group), 54 cases in each group. The control group was given routine care, while the other was given “modular” interventional care. The patient satisfaction, adverse mood changes and quality of life changes in the two groups was observed in the treatment. The results of this study showed that the nursing satisfaction of the patients in the intervention group was significantly higher than that in the control group; however, the negative emotion of the two groups of patients after care were lower than that before the care, and the degree of reduction in the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group; the life quality of patient in the two groups was improved than before nursing, and the degree of improvement in the intervention group was significantly higher than that in the control group. Therefore, the clinical application of Raloxifene in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis patients with “modular” nursing intervention can improve patient satisfaction, relieve negative emotions, and improve quality of life.

Abstract Background The Chinese Taihu is one of the most prolific pig breeds in the world, which farrows at least five more piglets per litter than Western pig breeds partly due to a greater ovulation rate. Variation of ovulation rate maybe associated with the differences in the transcriptome of Chinese Taihu and Large White ovaries. In order to understand the molecular basis of the greater ovulation rate of Chinese Taihu sows, expression profiling experiments were conducted to identify differentially expressed genes in ovarian follicles at the preovulatory stage of a PMSG-hCG stimulated estrous cycle from 3 Chinese Taihu and 3 Large White cycling sows by using the Affymetrix Porcine Genechip™. Results One hundred and thirty-three differentially expressed genes were identified between Chinese Taihu and Large White sows by using Affymetrix porcine GeneChip (p ≤ 0.05, Fold change ≥ 2 or ≤ 0.5). Gene Ontology (GO) analysis revealed that these genes belonged to the class of genes that participated in regulation of cellular process, regulation of biological process, biological regulation, developmental process, cell communication and signal transduction and so on. Significant differential expression of 6 genes including WNT10B and DKK2 in the WNT signaling pathway was detected. Real-time RT-PCR confirmed the expression pattern in seven of eight selected genes. A search of chromosomal location revealed that 92 differentially expressed transcripts located to the intervals of quantitative trait loci (QTLs) for reproduction traits. Furthermore, SNPs of two differentially expressed genes- BAX and BMPR1B were showed to be associated with litter size traits in Large White pigs and Chinese DIV line pigs (p ≤ 0.1 or p ≤ 0.05). Conclusions Our study detected many genes that showed differential expression between ovary follicles of two divergent breeds of pigs. Genes involved with regulation of cellular process, regulation of biological process, in addition to several genes not previously associated with ovarian physiology or with unknown function, were differentially expressed between two breeds. The suggestive or significant associations of BAX and BMPR1B gene with litter size indicated these genetic markers had the potentials to be used in pig industry after further validation of their genetic effects. Taken together, this study reveals many potential avenues of investigation for seeking new insights into ovarian physiology and the genetic control of reproduction.

Abstract Background A growing body of literature has demonstrated that higher social capital is associated with improved health conditions. However, some research indicated that the association between social capital and health was substantially attenuated after adjustment for material deprivation. Studies exploring the association between poverty, social capital and health still have some serious limitations. In China, health equity studies focusing on urban poor are scarce. The purpose of this study is therefore to examine how poverty and individual-level social capital in urban China are associated with health equity. Methods Our study is based on a household study sample consisting of 1605 participants in two Chinese cities. For all participants, data on personal characteristics, health status, health care utilisation and social capital were collected. Factor analysis was performed to extract social capital factors. Dichotomised social capital factors were used for logistic regression models. A synergy index (if it is above 1, we can know the existence of the co-operative effect) was computed to examine the interaction effect between lack of social capital and poverty. Results Results indicated the poor had an obviously higher probability of belonging to the low individual-level social capital group in all the five dimensions, with the adjusted odds ratios ranging from 1.42 to 2.12. When the other variables were controlled for in the total sample, neighbourhood cohesion (NC), and reciprocity and social support (RSS) were statistically associated with poor self-rated health (NC: OR = 1.40; RSS: OR = 1.34). However, for the non-poor sub-sample, no social capital variable was a statistically significant predictor. The synergy index between low individual-level NC and poverty, and between low individual-level RSS and poverty were 1.22 and 1.28, respectively, indicating an aggravating effect between them. Conclusion In this study, we have shown that the interaction effect between poverty and lack of social capital (NC and RSS) was a good predictor of poor SRH in urban China. Improving NC and RSS may be helpful in reducing health inequity; however, poverty reduction is more important and therefore should be implemented at the same time. Policies that attempt to improve health equity via social capital, but neglect poverty intervention, would be counter-productive.
