Mentoring relationships play an essential role in supporting the success of the "Batik" MSME’s learning group as part of the creative sub-economy in the fashion field in Indonesia. This qualitative study aims to explore the mentoring process of Batik in the MSMEs community. The results showed that mentors and mentees had the same values during the process, namely cooperation, friendship, mutual help, and complementarity. Furthermore, sustainability tends to exist when the mentor has a close relationship with the mentees. This finding provides recommendations to stakeholders that the mentoring program is effective when the mentor comes from the MSMEs community.

This research aims to know the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model comparing to Drill Model on Intermediate Financial Accounting subject. The research was a quasi-experimental research. Population was four classes of Accounting Education students in the year of 2014/2015 at Faculty of Educational Science and Teaching of Riau Islamic University (UIR). Sample was taken by using purposive sampling. Then, it used Problem Based Learning (PBL) at experimental class and Drill Model at controlled class. Data was collected by using interview, observation, and tests (pre-test and post-test). Moreover, data were analyzed by using independent sample test. Findings show that there is no any difference of learning outcomes between students who taught by Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model and Drill Model on Intermediate Financial Accounting.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei, bertujuan untuk menguji apakah ada perbedaan hasil belajar Akuntansi Keuangan Menengah 1 (AKM 1) pada mahasiswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif field independent dan field dependent. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester empat jurusan akuntansi Universitas Negeri Malang yang telah menempuh AKM 1 terdiri dari 288 mahasiswa dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak 167 mahasiswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi untuk data hasil belajar dan tes (GEFT) untuk mengukur gaya kognitif. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan independent sample t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar AKM 1 diantara mahasiswa yang memiliki dimensi gaya kognitif field independent dengan field dependent.
