Abstract Iron oxide nanoparticles (IONPs) have the potential to be utilized in a multitude of fields, including biomedicine. Consequently, the potential health risks associated with their use must be carefully considered. Most biosafety evaluations of IONPs have focused on examining the impact of the material’s distinctive physicochemical attributes. However, the specific attributes of individual cells are frequently disregarded, particularly under the oxidative stress conditions. This may result in an underestimation of potential risk and impede the clinical translation of IONPs. The present study thus sought to evaluate the potential cytotoxicity and underlying mechanisms of IONPs in a pathological state characterized by mild oxidative stress. A cell model of mild oxidative stress was initially established in vitro. Subsequently, a series of indicators, including cell viability, live/dead ratio, mitochondrial membrane potential, and oxidative damage, were measured to assess the cytotoxicity of IONPs. Finally, a series of ferroptosis regulators were used to elucidate the involvement of ferroptosis. Preincubation with IONPs resulted in a significant reduction in cellular viability, morphological degeneration, elevated numbers of dead cells, impaired mitochondrial function, and increased oxidative damage under mild oxidative stress conditions in vitro. The cytotoxic effects of IONPs under mild oxidative stress are largely dependent on ROS and iron ions and are strongly associated with ferroptosis, which is based on the effects of ferroptosis regulators. The present in vitro study indicated that IONPs are toxic to cells under mild oxidative stress, which is linked to ferroptosis.

Abstract Background Minimal change disease (MCD) following coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) vaccination has been increasingly reported; however, the clinical characteristics and pathogenesis of patients with MCD have not been thoroughly discussed. Methods A systematic literature search of published data up until May 10, 2023, was conducted using the PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, and SinoMed databases. MCD patients diagnosed by renal biopsy following COVID‐19 vaccination were analyzed with the largest sample size to date. Results A total of 85 patients were included in the present statistical analysis, including 50 new‐onset and 35 relapsed MCD subjects following COVID‐19 vaccination. Direct incorporation of straw into the flooded paddy has been widely confirmed to induce substantial methane (CH4) emissions. Exploring innovative modes of straw return and associated field water management is necessary to mitigate CH4 emissions without compromising crop yield. Here, a 2-year field experiment was conducted with two wheat straw returning modes [straw evenly-plowed returning (SR) with conventional flooding water management, and straw centralized returning (SCR) under rainfed conditions], to evaluate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, crop yields, carbon footprint (CF), and net ecosystem economic benefit (NEEB) in the rice-wheat rotation system. The results showed that the GHG emissions contributed significantly to the total annual carbon source value, accounting for 48.0 % and 43.0 % in SR and SCR, respectively. The mean CF in SCR was 6760 kg CO2-eq ha–1, which was 17.6 % lower than that in SR, primarily due to the significantly lower CH4 (by 27.5 %) during the rice seasons. Lower soil water contents might partly regulate the CH4 emissions by decreasing DOC contents and increasing the soil Eh, leading to a lower CH4 production potential (decreased by 44.3–45.8 %) and production/oxidation potential ratio in SCR. Annually, the total yields of rice and wheat were 9.53 t ha–1 and 9.38 t ha–1 in SR and SCR, respectively. However, the irrigation electricity consumption and CF costs were lower in SCR, resulting in an increased NEEB of 179 CNY ha–1 relative to SR. The findings suggest that straw centralized returning under rainfed conditions in the rice season could reduce both CH4 emissions and carbon footprint while sustaining food security and economic benefit in the rice-wheat rotation system.

Objective: While post-transcriptional modifications play a pivotal role in the autophagy regulation, studies on dental pulp disease are limited. This study investigated the effect of BRF1 on autophagy in inflamed pulp tissue and human dental pulp stem cells (hDPSCs). Methods: Immunohistochemical analysis was used to examine BRF1 expression, autophagy levels, and dentinogenic markers in normal and inflamed pulp. The presence of autophagosomes was observed by transmission electron microscopy. Primary hDPSCs were treated with 1 μg/mL lipopolysaccharide (LPS) for different lengths of time. The expression of BRF1 and autophagy makers was determined by Western blotting. BRF1 knockdown and 3 MA treatment were employed to assess changes in autophagy and dentinogenic differentiation. Double immunofluorescence staining was performed to co-localize BRF1 with LC3B in pulp tissue. Results: The expressions of BRF1, LC3, DMP1, and DSP were significantly elevated in the inflamed pulp. LPS enhanced the protein production of IL-6, BRF1, LC3, and Beclin-1 from 6 h to 24 h after the treatment. BRF1 knockdown reduced the ratio of LC3-II/LC3-I and the differentiation ability of hDPSCs, while 3 MA inhibited LPS-mediated dentinogenic differentiation. Double-labeling revealed that BRF1 co-localized with LC3B in inflamed pulp. Conclusion: This study demonstrated that BRF1 promoted autophagy activation and odontogenic differentiation in pulpitis.

The formation of environmentally persistent free radicals (EPFRs) is mediated by the particulate matter's surface, especially transition metal oxide surfaces. In the context of current atmospheric complex pollution, various atmospheric components, such as key atmospheric oxidants ·OH and O3, are often absorbed on particulate matter surfaces, forming particulate matter surfaces containing ·OH and O3. This, in turn, influences EPFRs formation. Here, density functional theory (DFT) calculations were used to explore the formation mechanism of EPFRs by C6H5OH on α-Fe2O3(0001) surface containing the ·OH and O3, and compare it with that on clean surface. The results show that, compared to EPFRs formation with an energy barrier on a clean surface, EPFRs can be rapidly formed through a barrierless process on these surfaces. Moreover, during the hydrogen abstraction mechanism leading to EPFRs formation, the hydrogen acceptor shifts from a surface O atom on a clean surface to an O atom of ·OH or O₃ on these surfaces. However, the detailed hydrogen abstraction process differs on surfaces containing oxidants: on surfaces containing ·OH, it occurs directly through a one-step mechanism, while, on surfaces containing O3, it occurs through a two-step mechanism. But, in both types of surfaces, the essence of this promotional effect mainly lies in increasing the electron transfer amounts during the reaction process. This research provides new insights into EPFRs formation on particle surfaces within the context of atmospheric composite pollution.

Abstract Background The major public health crisis caused by the rapid spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and the large-scale public health measures such as social isolation and school closures enforced by some countries have severely affected on the physical and mental wellbeing of children and adolescents globally. This study aimed to estimate the prevalence of the psychological impact and investigate the similarities and differences in the influential factors for generalized anxiety disorder among rural adolescents as a relatively lesser noticed population the outbreak of COVID-19. Methods From May 11 to 22, 2020, a total of 1,179 adolescents, including Grade 5–6 in primary school and Grade 7–8 in middle school, were selected by multistage sampling in three Southern Chinese cities (Shantou, Guangdong Province; Hezhou, Guangxi Province; Nanchong, Sichuan Province), and completed the questionnaires including sociodemographic, generalized anxiety disorder, academic stress, coronaphobia, knowledge of COVID-19, and precautionary measures. ANOVA, Chi-square test, Kruskalwallis H test and multivariate linear regression were performed in the statistical analysis. Results The average scores of generalized anxiety disorder during the past two weeks were 3.43 (SD 4.46), 4.47 (SD 5.15), and 4.10 (SD 4.94) in Shantou, Hezhou and Nanchong, respectively. Most geological drilling rigs using asynchronous motor with gear box as the drive device of drawworks have problems of instability at low speed, complex mechanism, and lots maintenance work. This paper proposes an application of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) used in drawworks. Firstly, running characteristics of PMSM in steady state are analyzed and calculated theoretically, and mathematical models of motor’s power, torque, and power loss are given. Secondly, vector control principle of PMSM is analyzed and introduced, and maximum torque/current control method is finally decided as the basis for the design of control system. Thirdly, running parameters of PMSM in three stages (lowering drill string, constant speed/pressure drilling, and lifting drill string) of each test point were measured, and the curves of key parameters of PMSM are given. Finally, it is concluded that drawworks with PMSMs can not only improve control performance, reduce power consumption, and save energy, but also omit the gearbox, which makes structure of lifting system more compact and reduce lots maintenance work. The research work of this paper lays a foundation for the popularization and application of PMSM in the industry of deep well drilling rig.

Two-dimensional (2D) materials, especially the materials that have intrinsic ferromagnetism (FM), have attracted considerable attention due to their ultraclean interface, controllable stacking order, good flexibility, and other excellent characteristics. However, the low Curie temperature (TC) has limited their practical applications in spintronic devices. Here, we present an approach to enhance the ferromagnetism of the monolayer CrI3 by adsorbing the transition metal atoms (Fe, Co, and Ni) through the first-principles calculation. Interestingly, the Ni-adsorption of monolayer CrI3 has improved the TC to 167 K and introduced the half-metallic feature with a large energy gap of 1.9 eV, which means a high spin polarization rate close to 100%. We further calculate the magnetic tunnel junction formed by the AB stacking bilayer Ni-adsorbed CrI3, which has layer number-dependent magnetic ordering temperature and FM interlayer exchange interaction, by combining density functional theory and the Keldysh nonequilibrium Green’s function. The transport properties calculation results show that the tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR) of this device can reach a large value of 3.94 × 104% due to the half-metallicity induced large spin polarization. The enhanced TC, half-metallicity, and large TMR in magnetic tunnel junctions imply that 2D Ni-adsorbed CrI3 has great potential in practical spintronic applications.

BackgroundTimely identification of causative pathogens is important for the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary infections. Metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS), a novel approach to pathogen detection, can directly sequence nucleic acids of specimens, providing a wide range of microbial profile. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the diagnostic performance of mNGS in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) of patients with suspected pulmonary infection.MethodsFrom April 2019 to September 2021, 502 patients with suspected pneumonia, who underwent both mNGS of BALF and conventional microbiological tests (CMTs), were classified into different groups based on comorbidities. The diagnostic performances of mNGS and CMTs were compared. Comprehensive clinical analysis was used as the reference standard.ResultsThe diagnostic accuracy and sensitivity of mNGS were 74.9% (95% confidence interval [CI], 71.7-78.7%) and 72.5% (95% CI, 68.2-76.8%) respectively, outperformed those of CMTs (36.9% diagnostic accuracy, 25.4% sensitivity). For most pathogens, the detection rate of mNGS was higher than that of CMTs. Polymicrobial infections most often occurred in immunocompromised patients (22.1%). Only 2.3% patients without underlying diseases developed polymicrobial infections. Additionally, the spectrums of pathogens also varied among the different groups. We found the positive predictive values (PPV) to be dependent upon both the pathogen of interest as well as the immunologic status of the patient (e.g., the PPV of Mycobacterium tuberculosis was 94.9% while the PPV of Pneumocystis jirovecii in immunocompetent individuals was 12.8%). This information can help physicians interpret mNGS results.ConclusionmNGS of BALF can greatly enhance the accuracy and detection rate of pathogens in patients with pulmonary infections. Moreover, the comorbidities and types of pathogens should be taken consideration when interpreting the results of mNGS.

The fruit development and ripening process involve a series of changes regulated by fine-tune gene expression at the transcriptional level. Acetylation levels of histones on lysine residues are dynamically regulated by histone acetyltransferases (HATs) and histone deacetylases (HDACs), which play an essential role in the control of gene expression. However, their role in regulating fruit development and ripening process, especially in pepper (Capsicum annuum), a typical non-climacteric fruit, remains to understand. Herein, we performed genome-wide analyses of the HDAC and HAT family in the pepper, including phylogenetic analysis, gene structure, encoding protein conserved domain, and expression assays. A total of 30 HAT and 15 HDAC were identified from the pepper genome and the number of gene differentiation among species. The sequence and phylogenetic analysis of CaHDACs and CaHATs compared with other plant HDAC and HAT proteins revealed gene conserved and potential genus-specialized genes. Furthermore, fruit developmental trajectory expression profiles showed that CaHDAC and CaHAT genes were differentially expressed, suggesting that some are functionally divergent. The integrative analysis allowed us to propose CaHDAC and CaHAT candidates to be regulating fruit development and ripening-related phytohormone metabolism and signaling, which also accompanied capsaicinoid and carotenoid biosynthesis. This study provides new insights into the role of histone modification mediate development and ripening in non-climacteric fruits.

Objectives: To evaluate and compare the efficacy, safety, and cost of nine Chinese patent medicines (CPMs) combined with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI) or angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) in treating early diabetic kidney disease (DKD).Design: Systematic review and network meta-analysis.Data sources: PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, clinicaltrials.gov, SinoMed, Chinese Biomedicine, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, WanFang, and Chongqing VIP Information databases were comprehensively searched from the beginning to February 2022.Review Methods: Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) including Bailing capsule (BLC); Jinshuibao capsule (JSB); Huangkui capsule (HKC); Compound Xueshuantong capsule (CXC); uremic clearance granule (UCG); Shenyan Kangfu tablet (SYKFT); tripterygium glycosides (TG); Keluoxin capsule (KLX), and Shenshuaining tablet (SSNT) combined with ACEI/ARB for patients with early DKD were reviewed.Data Synthesis: Two reviewers independently screened articles, extracted data, and assessed the risk of bias. Risk ratios (RRs) and mean difference (MD) were reckoned to assess dichotomous variable quantities and continuous variable quantities, respectively. Using the surface under the cumulative ranking curve (SUCRA), we then ranked each therapeutic regime.Results: Ultimately, 160 RCTs involving 13,365 patients and nine CPMs were included. UCG showed significantly higher probabilities on urinary albumin excretion rate (UAER) when compared with ACEI/ARB group, with MD of −47 (95%CI) (−57, −37) and SUCRA 98.0%. The CXC group achieved a remarkable improvement in overall response rate (ORR) compared with ACEI/ARB (RR, 1.3, 95%CI (1.2, 1.5)) with SUCRA 91.9%. SSNT could be significantly superior to ACEI/ARB group in terms of serum creatinine (Scr) (−19 (−26, −12), SUCRA 99.3%) and adverse effects (AEs) (0.46 (0.17, 1.1), SUCRA 82.9%). BLC showed the greatest effectiveness on 24 h urinary total protein (24 h UTP) (−170 (−260, −83), SUCRA 78.5%) and triglyceride (Trig) (−0.89 (−1.2, −0.53), SUCRA 97.0%). From the cost-effectiveness analysis of CPMs in China, the cost of TG, SYKFT and CXC was 108, 600, and 648 RMB, respectively, per 3 months and were ranked in the top three.Conclusion: UCG and CXC might be the optimum selection for improving UAER and ORR, and SSNT could be significantly superior to ACEI/ARB group in terms of Scr and AEs. BLC shows the best curative effect on 24 h UTP and Trig. TG shows the highest cost-effectiveness among the nine CPMs.

Background: Immunosuppressants have been applied in the remedy of idiopathic membranous nephropathy (IMN) extensively. Nevertheless, the efficacy and safety of immunosuppressants do not have final conclusion. Thus, a pairwise and network meta-analysis (NMA) was carried out to seek the most recommended therapeutic schedule for patients with IMN.Methods: Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) including cyclophosphamide (CTX), mycophenolate mofetil (MMF), tacrolimus-combined mycophenolate mofetil (TAC + MMF), cyclosporine (CsA), tacrolimus (TAC), leflunomide (LEF), chlorambucil (CH), azathioprine (AZA), adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), non-immunosuppressive therapies (CON), steroids (STE), mizoribine (MZB), and rituximab (RIT) for patients with IMN were checked. Risk ratios (RRs) and standard mean difference (SMD) were reckoned to assess dichotomous variable quantities and continuous variable quantities, respectively. Total remission (TR) and 24-h urine total protein (24-h UTP) were compared using pairwise and NMA. Then interventions were ranked on the basis of the surface under the cumulative ranking curve (SUCRA).Results: Our study finally included 51 RCTs and 12 different immunosuppressants. Compared with the CON group, most regimens demonstrated better therapeutic effect in TR, with RR of 2.1 (95% CI) (1.5–2.9) for TAC, 1.9 (1.3–2.8) for RIT, 2.5 (1.2–5.2) for TAC + MMF, 1.9 (1.4–2.7) for CH, 1.8 (1.4–2.4) for CTX, 2.2 (1.0–4.7) for ACTH, 1.6 (1.2–2.1) for CsA, 1.6 (1.0–2.5) for LEF, and 1.6 (1.1–2.2) for MMF. In terms of 24-h UTP, TAC (SMD, −2.3 (95% CI −3.5 to −1.1)), CTX (SMD, −1.7 (95% CI −2.8 to −0.59)), RIT (SMD, −1.8 (95% CI −3.5 to −0.11)), CH (SMD, −2.4 (95% CI −4.3 to −0.49)), AZA (SMD, −−4.2 (95% CI −7.7 to −0.68)), and CsA (SMD, −1.7 (95% CI −3 to −0.49)) were significantly superior than the CON group. As for adverse effects (AEs), infections, nausea, emesia, myelosuppression, and glucose intolerance were the collective adverse events for most immunosuppressants.Conclusion: This study indicates that TAC + MMF performed the best in terms of TR, and TAC shows the best effectiveness on 24-h UTP compared with other regimens. After dental trauma to immature permanent teeth (IPT), there can be pulpitis, necrotic, and periapical periodontitis, which will halt further root development. Traditional endodontic root canal treatments and apexification cannot revitalize the necrotic pulp to revitalize the tooth to promote further root development. As a consequence, IPT with thin dentinal walls can be prone to fracture and if a fracture occurs, the patient will likely suffer the loss of the tooth. In an attempt to save IPT, there has been a growing interest among dentists to use regenerative endodontic procedures (REPs) to revitalize a replace dental pulp to continue root development and strengthen the dentinal walls to help prevent a subsequent loss of the tooth. However, the effectiveness of REPs and the precise methods to successfully accomplish REPs are controversial. Therefore, the objective of this review is to compare the different approaches to REPs in case reports by highlighting their advantages and limitations.

Background: This study aimed to evaluate clinical features and prognosis and therapy option of patients with different risk ranks based on antibody against the M-type phospholipase-A2-receptor (PLA2Rab) level in seropositive M-type phospholipase-A2-receptor (PLA2R)-associated membranous nephropathy (MN) in a large sample size, multi-center study.Method: Based on the unvalidated cut-off value of PLA2Rab above 150 RU/ml as one of the clinical criteria for high risk of progressive kidney function loss in MN according to 2020 Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) draft guidelines recommendation, a total of 447 patients who received cyclophosphamide (CTX) or tacrolimus (TAC) combined with corticosteroids treatment for 12 months were divided into high titer (>150 RU/ml) group and non-high titer (20–150 RU/ml) group, which were subdivided into CTX subgroup and TAC subgroup. The overall cohort was classified into CTX group and TAC group as well. Clinical parameters levels and remission rates were recorded at 3, 6, and 12 months follow-up. PLA2Rab was tested by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results: Patients with high titer PLA2Rab were associated with more severe proteinuria and hypoalbuminemia compared to those with non-high titer antibody, accompanied by lower complete remission (CR) and total remission (TR) rates at 3, 6, and 12 months, which even took longer to remission. Similar remission rates differences between the two titer groups were observed in the CTX and TAC groups, respectively. PLA2Rab level at baseline was an independent predictive factor for CR and TR. In the high titer group, CR and TR rates in the CTX subgroup were significantly higher than those in the TAC subgroup at 12 months, although serious adverse events were more frequent in the former.Conclusion: High-risk rank patients with PLA2Rab level above 150 RU/ml have higher disease activity and worse prognosis among patients with seropositive PLA2R-associated MN, even under different immunosuppressive therapeutic models; moreover, CTX combined with corticosteroids was preferred compared to TAC plus corticosteroids, although serious adverse events were more frequent in the former. Additionally, baseline PLA2Rab level was an independent predictive factor for clinical remission.

Regenerative endodontic procedures using autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) can improve the biologic outcome of treatment. However, its mechanism of action on improving pulp regeneration is not fully elucidated. Autophagy was recently shown to be related to tissue repair and osteogenesis. Therefore, the objective of this study was to investigate the effect of PRP in dental pulp regeneration and to elucidate the role of autophagy involved in this process. Human dental pulp cells (hDPCs) were isolated from healthy dental pulp and co-cultured with an increasing concentration of PRP. Cellular migration and proliferation were determined by scratch assay, transwell assay, and cell-counting kit 8 assay. Osteogenic differentiation was clarified by using alkaline phosphatase staining, alizarin red staining, and real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) to measure the gene expression levels of alkaline phosphatase, collagen-1, osteocalcin, dentin matrix protein 1, and dentin sialophosphoprotein. Autophagic bodies were observed by transmission electron microscopy and the expression of autophagy marker light chain 3B (LC3B) was determined by immunofluorescence staining. The mRNA and protein expression level of LC3B and Beclin-1 were quantified by qRT-PCR and western blotting. The effect of PRP on cellular migration, proliferation, and osteogenic differentiation was further investigated in the milieu of autophagy activator, rapamycin, and inhibitor, 3-methyladenine. Results showed that PRP promoted cell migration, proliferation, and osteogenic differentiation. Autophagic bodies were strongly activated and the expression level of LC3B and Beclin-1 was significantly promoted by PRP. Autophagy inhibition suppressed PRP-induced hDPCs migration, proliferation, and osteogenic differentiation, whereas autophagy activator substantially augmented PRP-stimulated migration, proliferation, and differentiation. Taken together, these findings suggested that PRP could effectively promote regenerative potentials associated with autophagy.

Abstract Background The purpose of this study was to investigate the antimicrobial activities of four endodontic sealers (GuttaFlow2, AH Plus, ProRoot MTA and RealSeal) against E. feacalis, E.coli and C.albicans. Methods The antimicrobial activities of four endodontic sealers were assessed by both agar diffusion test (ADT) and direct contact test (DCT) in this study. In ADT, the results were reported as the diameter of the growth inhibition zone. Both fresh and 1-day-setting sealers were measured. In DCT, microorganisms in suspension were exposed to the sealers for 10, 30 and 60 min and the survival of microorganisms were determined after exposure at different time points(after mixing, 1 and 7 days). The number of colony-forming unit (CFU) was counted. The results were analyzed with ANOVA and Tukey tests. Results Both ADT and DCT results showed that Guttaflow2 presented no effect against any tested microorganisms. In ADT, fresh RealSeal had the largest inhibition zone against all tested microbes, followed by AH Plus and ProRoot MTA. ProRoot MTA demonstrated inhibition zones against all the three test microbes after setting for 1 day, while the other three sealers showed no inhibition activity. In DCT, fresh AH Plus had the strongest antimicrobial effects against all the three tested microorganisms for every contact times, while its antimicrobial activity diminished significantly with time. Fresh RealSeal and ProRoot MTA also showed strong antimicrobial effect and still showed antimicrobial effect after 1-day-setting. The antibacterial effects of RealSeal against E. faecalis and antifungal effect of ProRoot MTA were observed after 7 days of setting. Conclusions GuttaFlow2 had no antimicrobial activity. Freshly mixed RealSeal and AH Plus demonstrated strong antimicrobial effects. RealSeal showed antimicrobial effects after setting in DCT. ProRoot MTA showed high antimicrobial activity and exhibited anti-inflammation potentials after setting.

There is a large number of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) in China, with great heterogeneity among individuals, and the glycemic control rate is low. Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) can directly reflect the fluctuation of patient's blood glucose, which is beneficial to both doctors and patients in finding and correcting abnormal blood glucose in time, promoting patients' behavior change, and improving their self-management ability. This article will briefly introduce CGM, elaborate on the effects and obstacles of CGM in patients with T2DM, and put forward coping strategies, so as to provide a reference for promoting the widespread application of CGM in patients with T2DM.

As an important inflammatory cytokine， interleukin-17 （IL-17） plays a critical immune role in anti-infection and autoimmune diseases. Besides， IL-17 has been confirmed to play a pivotal role in the occurrence and progression of multiple malignant tumors. In recent years， the global mortality rate of ovarian cancer has been decreased， but there is a trend of younger women being diagnosed. According to the correlation studies between IL-17 and ovarian cancer， it can be predicted that IL-17 can serve as a critical biomarker in the detection， treatment and follow-up of ovarian cancer. Nevertheless， large sample size studies are urgently required. Currently， clinical trials related to the role of IL-17 in the immune therapy for multiple tumors are being undertaken. In this article， recent studies related to the role of IL-17 in ovarian cancer were reviewed， which might provide novel ideas for early detection， treatment and postoperative follow-up of ovarian cancer.

Helically coiled tube (HCT) is widely used in nuclear engineering and other fields due to its effective compactness, excellent structure robustness, heat transfer efficiency and flow stability. As one of the most important gasliquid twophase flow patterns in HCT, the characteristic of annular flow has a great influence on the heat transfer performance of helical oncethrough steam generator. Especially, the circumferential distribution of liquid film thickness in annular flow directly determines the dryout onset location. Although the liquid film flow in straight tubes has been extensively studied, due to the limitation of measurement technology, the precise measurement data of liquid film thickness in HCT are still very rare. In this paper, based on the selfdeveloped noninvasive contact ringisland array sensor (RIAS), airwater twophase flow experiments were carried out to study the threedimensional spatialtemporal distribution of liquid film thickness in vertical HCT with different structures. According to the results, four typical liquid film flow regimes were defined based on the circumferential position of the thicker liquid film appearing in the tube wall. That is, the bottom distribution (BD) dominated by gravity force, the outside distribution (OD) dominated by liquid centrifugal force, the inside distribution (ID) dominated by gas centrifugal force and the insideoutside distribution (IOD) dominated by secondary flow. The effects of coil diameter and coil pitch of HCT as well as gas and liquid velocities on the distribution of liquid film flow regimes were detailed analyzed. It is implied that the coil diameter determines the intensity of centrifugal force and secondary flow. Generally, the smaller the coil diameter, the easier the circumferential distribution forms of OD, ID and IOD are to appear. Also, increasing the coil pitch weakens the effect of centrifugal force on the liquid film. Then a small coil pitch normally results in the circumferential distribution form of OD while it is ID for large coil pitch. It is also found that the IOD occurs only when both gas and liquid velocities are large enough. By taking the influence of HCT geometry and fluid parameters into account, a general submap of liquid film flow in HCT was proposed using the modified Dean number De* and the modified LockhartMartinelli parameter X*. The transition criteria between different liquid film flow regimes were also established and verified with experimental data in present work and previous references. From this work, the mechanism of curvatureinduced centrifugal force and secondary flow on the spatiotemporal evolution of liquid film in HCT is revealed.
