Educational technology is the most closely related discipline with information technology, which has made great contributions to the development of our country’s education. In the context of the new liberal arts construction, educational technology majors in our country face an important era topic. The new liberal arts in the modern sense is under the background of the new scientific and technological revolution. It emphasizes the integration of disciplines and the innovation of knowledge theory in the discipline connotation, and emphasizes the cultivation of all mankind in the goal and task, so as to guide and serve the needs of society. In view of this, this paper analyzes the transmutation status of educational technology in colleges and universities in our country under the background of the new liberal arts construction, and analyzes the development path from three aspects: understanding the data change of educational technology, valuing the integration of humanistic spirit teaching and passing on the outstanding traditional culture, so as to provide certain guidance for the society to cultivate professionals in educational technology.

Background "Strengthening primary health care" is one of the focuses of China's health care reform, and the study of the efficiency and equity of rural medical and health resources allocation in China is of great significance in promoting the orderly development of primary health care services, but at present, there are few relevant literature based on the DEA-GIS methodology with both equity and efficiency. Objective To analyze the efficiency and equity of rural medical and health resources allocation in 29 provinces in China in 2020, in order to provide a reference for optimizing the allocation of rural medical and health resources and improving the rural medical and health service system in China. Methods The data for this study were collected from the Statistical Tables of Administrative Divisions of the People's Republic of China, the 2021 China Health Statistical Yearbook. After synthesizing the existing literature research, data availability and soliciting expert advice, the township hospitals and village clinics in 29 provinces in China (excluding Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) were selected as the study objects, and the number of township hospitals and village clinics (hereinafter referred to as the number of health institutions) , the number of beds in township hospitals (hereinafter referred to as the number of beds) , and the number of health technicians in township hospitals and village clinics (hereinafter referred to as the number of health technicians) were used as input indicators; the number of consultations in township hospitals and village clinics (hereinafter referred to as the number of consultations) , and the number of hospital admissions to township hospitals (hereinafter referred to as the number of admissions) were used as output indicators. The data envelopment analysis (DEA) model was used to assess the efficiency of rural medical and health resources allocation in China, and the health resource agglomeration degree and geographic information system (GIS) technology were used to spatially map the rural medical and health resources allocation to analyze its equity. Results In 2020, China's rural medical and health resources had 4 provinces with effective DEA, 7 provinces with weakly effective DEA, and 18 provinces with ineffective DEA. Among them, the DEA ineffective regions all had different degrees of excess inputs, and only Shandong Province and Tibet Autonomous Region had insufficient outputs. The results of regional analysis showed that rural medical and health resources were concentrated in the eastern region, followed by the central region, with the lowest degree of concentration in the western region. Conclusion The government needs to pay attention to improving the technical efficiency of rural medical and health resources allocation, and promote equity and efficiency by applying precise measures to each region based on optimizing the input and output structure, reducing resource redundancy, rationally coordinating the allocation of resources in the eastern, central and western regions.

Optical neural networks (ONNs) have gained significant attention due to their potential for high-speed and energy-efficient computation in artificial intelligence. The implementation of optical convolutions plays a vital role in ONNs, as they are fundamental operations within neural network architectures. However, state-of-the-art convolution architectures often suffer from redundant inputs, leading to substantial resource waste. Here, we demonstrate an integrated optical convolution architecture that leverages the inherent routing principles of arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) to execute the sliding of convolution kernel and summation of results. M × N multiply–accumulate (MAC) operations are facilitated by M + N units within a single clock cycle, thus eliminating the redundancy. In the experiment, we achieved 5 bit precision and 91.9 % accuracy in the handwritten digit recognition task confirming the reliability of our approach. Its redundancy-free architecture, low power consumption, high compute density (8.53 teraOP mm−1 s−1) and scalability make it a valuable contribution to the field of optical neural networks, thereby paving the way for future advancements in high-performance computing and artificial intelligence applications.

Graves’ disease (GD) is an autoimmune disorder disease, and its prevalence continues to increase worldwide. Pyrroloquinoline quinone (PQQ) is a naturally antioxidant compound in milk, vegetables, and meat. We aim to identify the treatment efficacy of PQQ on GD and its regulatory effect on intestinal microbiota. The GD mice model was built by an adenovirus expressing autoantigen thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor (Ad-TSHR289). Fecal samples were collected for 16S rDNA sequencing after PQQ pretreatments (20, 40, or 60 mg/kg BW/day) for 4 weeks. Thyroid and intestine functions were measured. The levels of serum TSHR and T4 were significantly raised, and the thyroid gland size was typically enlarged in the GD group than in controls, reversed by PQQ therapy. After PQQ replenishment, IL6 and TNFα levels in small intestine tissues were lower than those in the GD group, with Nrf2 and HO1 levels improved. Also, the PQQ supplement could maintain the mucosal epithelial barrier impaired by GD. In microbial analyses, PQQ treatment could prompt the diversity recovery of gut microbiota and reconstruct the microbiota composition injured by GD. Lactobacillus served as the most abundant genus in all groups, and the abundance of Lactobacillus was increased in the GD group than in control and PQQ groups. Besides, Lactobacillus was highly correlative with all samples and the top 50 genera. PQQ supplementation regulates thyroid function and relieves intestine injury. PQQ changes the primary composition and abundance of GD’s intestine microbiota by moderating Lactobacillus, which may exert in the pathogenesis and progression of GD.

SiC ceramics were sintered with Al2O3-Y2O3-CaO as additives. The effects of sintering temperature and additives content on the relative density, polytype, microstructure and mechanical properties of SiC ceramics were investigated by Archimedes drainage method, XRD, SEM, TEM and Vickers hardness test. The results show that the relative density, hardness and fracture toughness of SiC ceramics increase firstly and then decrease from 1300 ℃ to 1800 ℃, and reach the maximum at 1700 ℃. The phase transformation from β-SiC to α-SiC occurs between 1700 ℃ and 1800 ℃. Reducing the content of additives can increase the grain boundary bonding strength, and can improve the hardness and inhibition of the grain growth. Under the condition of 1700 ℃ and 7% (mass fraction) additives content, the best sintering results are obtained, with relative density, hardness and toughness of 97.9%, 23.3 GPa and 4.1 MPa·m1/2, respectively.

Metal parts with highly dynamic areas often appear in industrial production measurements. However, if the traditional fringe projection technique is used to project fringe onto the surface of these metal parts, the light energy will be excessively concentrated and the image will be saturated, resulting thus in the loss of fringe information. To effectively address the high reflectivity problem of the object under test in fringe projection, background normalized Fourier transform contouring was combined with adaptive fringe projection in this work and a new method for performing highly dynamic 3D measurements was proposed. To reduce the number of the acquired images by the camera, a monochromatic fringe of different frequencies was put into the RGB channel to make color composite fringe, and then a color camera was used to acquire the deformed color composite fringe map. The images acquired by the color camera were then separated into three channels to obtain three deformed stripe maps. The crosstalk was also removed from these three images, and the 3D shape of the object was reconstructed by carrying out Fourier transform contouring with background normalization. From our experiments, it was demonstrated that the root mean square error of the proposed method can reach 0.191 mm, whereas, unlike the traditional methods, the developed method requires four images.

Background: Constipation is a significant symptom of Parkinson's disease (PD). Glial-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF) is important for the morphogenesis of the enteric nervous system and plays a critical role in the preservation of mucosal integrity under enteric glia surveillance. The aim of this work was to evaluate the serum levels of GDNF in patients with PD with and without constipation.Methods: This work included 128 patients with PD. The patients were classified into three groups: those with PD but no constipation (nCons-PD) (n = 49), those with prodromal stage constipation (Cons-Pro-PD) (n = 48), and those with clinical stage constipation (Cons-Clinic-PD) (n = 31). The association between serum GDNF concentration and constipation was explored using logical regression.Results: The nCons-PD group's mean GDNF levels were 528.44 pg/ml, which was higher than the Cons-Pro-PD group's 360.72 pg/ml and the Cons-Clinic-PD group's 331.36 pg/ml. The results of binary logistic regression indicated that GDNF was a protective factor in the prevention of constipation. Cons-Clinic-PD group had a higher score of MDS-UPDRS-II, MDS-UPDRS-III, MDS-UPDRS-IV, and a higher H-Y staging as compared with nCons-PD group. Relative to the nCons-PD group, Cons-Clinic-PD had higher NMSS scores, lower MoCA and PDSS scores, and were more likely to have RBD.Conclusions: GDNF serum levels are lower in patients with PD who are constipated. A low GDNF level is a potential risk factor for constipation in patients with PD.

Objective. To investigate the association between gender and gastrointestinal (GI) dysfunctions, as well as gender and other motor symptoms/nonmotor symptoms, in a sample of PD patients. Methods. 186 patients with PD were recruited into this study and divided into male PD group (M-PD) and female PD group (FM-PD). Demographic and PD-related clinical information of the participants were collected by the same neurologist. PD patients were objectively assessed by a spectrum of rating scales of motor symptoms and nonmotor symptoms (including GI dysfunctions). The data were analyzed by SPSS 20 statistical software. Results. Totally 95 cases (51.08%) were in the M-PD group and 91 cases (48.92%) in the FM-PD group. There were no significant differences in age, BMI, and lifestyles between the two groups (P > 0.05). Males had higher educational level (P = 0.002). Females were more likely to have early satiety and loss of appetite (P = 0.025, P = 0.001). There were no significant differences in LED disease duration, age of motor symptoms onset, types of motor symptoms onset, location of motor symptoms onset, and phenotype of motor symptoms between the two groups (P > 0.05). Females had significantly higher UPDRS-III and HAMD scores than males (P = 0.037, P = 0.034). There were no significant differences in PQSI, ESS, RLS, RBD, HAMA, HAMD, and MoCA scores between the two groups. Gender was associated with HAMD (OR = 0.682, P = 0.019). Conclusions. Gender is a risk factor for depression, but not for GI dysfunctions in patients with PD.

Objective: Constipation is one of the most frequent non-motor symptoms (NMS) in Parkinson's disease (PD), causing great disturbance to patients. The present study investigated the prevalence and the clinical features of constipation in patients with PD and explored the difference between prodromal and clinical constipation of PD.Methods: A total of 186 patients with PD were recruited into this study. Subjective constipation was defined by ROME III criteria. Demographic and PD-related clinical information of the participants were collected. The PD patients were objectively assessed by a spectrum of rating scales of motor symptoms, non-motor symptoms, and quality of life.Results: In total, 51.61% (96/186) of PD patients suffer from constipation. Compared with patients without constipation, the patients with constipation were prone to have restless leg syndrome, depression, and anxiety and have higher scores of the non-motor symptoms scale. Among patients with constipation, 21.88% (21/96) patients had constipation in prodromal stage. Compared with patients with constipation in clinical stage, patients with prodromal constipation had a lower age of constipation onset (56.48 ± 9.63 and 65.26 ± 8.42, χ2 = 4.091, P < 0.001), longer timespan from constipation onset to motor symptom onset (6.62 ± 3.91 and 3.18 ± 2.13, χ2 = −3.877, P = 0.001). Patients with prodromal constipation were predominantly tremor onset (χ2 = 4.405, P = 0.044) and usually had a better quality of life [28 (14.50–37.5) and 40 (25.0–55.0), χ2 = 2.011, P = 0.046]. Depression was the only risk factor of constipation in PD patients. Body mass index, depression, and anxiety were factors that affected the life quality in patients with constipation.Conclusions: Our results supported the high incidence of constipation in patients with PD and that, in some patients, constipation occurred before the onset of motor symptoms. The specific clinical characteristics of patients with constipation and with prodromal constipation help to make early diagnosis, to discover the relationship between constipation and PD, and to further explore the pathogenesis of this degenerative disease.

This study focused on measuring the pollution characteristics, the monthly and seasonal variation rule of formaldehyde in the teaching machine room of Guangxi Normal University from March 2016 to February 2018, and the correlation between formaldehyde concentration and temperature or humidity were also analyzed. The results indicated that seasonal and monthly variation rule of formaldehyde changed with temperature and humidity in the teaching machine room. The concentration of formaldehyde was higher in summer and autumn, while was lower in winter and spring. Abstract Background Currently the major barrier in biomass utilization is the lack of an effective pretreatment of plant cell wall so that the carbohydrates can subsequently be hydrolyzed into sugars for fermentation into fuel or chemical molecules. Termites are highly effective in degrading lignocellulosics and thus can be used as model biological systems for studying plant cell wall degradation. Results We discovered a combination of specific structural and compositional modification of the lignin framework and partial degradation of carbohydrates that occurs in softwood with physical chewing by the termite, Coptotermes formosanus, which are critical for efficient cell wall digestion. Comparative studies on the termite-chewed and native (control) softwood tissues at the same size were conducted with the aid of advanced analytical techniques such as pyrolysis gas chromatography mass spectrometry, attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetry. The results strongly suggest a significant increase in the softwood cellulose enzymatic digestibility after termite chewing, accompanied with utilization of holocellulosic counterparts and an increase in the hydrolysable capacity of lignin collectively. In other words, the termite mechanical chewing process combines with specific biological pretreatment on the lignin counterpart in the plant cell wall, resulting in increased enzymatic cellulose digestibility in vitro. The specific lignin unlocking mechanism at this chewing stage comprises mainly of the cleavage of specific bonds from the lignin network and the modification and redistribution of functional groups in the resulting chewed plant tissue, which better expose the carbohydrate within the plant cell wall. Moreover, cleavage of the bond between the holocellulosic network and lignin molecule during the chewing process results in much better exposure of the biomass carbohydrate. Conclusion Collectively, these data indicate the participation of lignin-related enzyme(s) or polypeptide(s) and/or esterase(s), along with involvement of cellulases and hemicellulases in the chewing process of C. formosanus, resulting in an efficient pretreatment of biomass through a combination of mechanical and enzymatic processes. This pretreatment could be mimicked for industrial biomass conversion.

The cooling effect of green spaces as an ecological solution to mitigate urban climate change is well documented. However, the factors influencing the microclimate in the built environment around forest parks, diurnal variations of their impact and their degree of importance have not been explicitly addressed. We attempted to quantify how much various landscape parameters, including land cover and spatial location, impact the ambient air and surface temperature in the area around Beijing’s Olympic Forest Park. Data were taken along strategically located traverses inside and outside the park. We found: (1) The air temperature during the day was 1.0–3.5 °C lower in the park than in the surrounding area; the surface temperature was 1.7–4.8 °C lower; air humidity in the park increased by 8.7–15.1%; and the human comfort index reduced to 1.8–6.9, all generating a more comfortable thermal environment in the park than in the surrounding area. (2) The distance to the park and the green space ratio of the park’s surrounding area are significant factors for regulating its microclimate. A 1 km increase in distance to the park caused the temperature to increase by 0.83 °C; when the green space ratio increased by 10%, the temperature dropped by 0.16 °C on average. The impact of these two parameters was more obvious in the afternoon than in the middle of the day or in the morning. The green space ratio could be used for designing a more stable thermal environment. (3) Land cover affects surface temperature more than it does air temperature. Our data suggest that an urban plan with an even distribution of green space would provide the greatest thermal comfort.
