Abstract Background Financial toxicity describes the impairment of financial wellbeing in patients due to the burden of cancer diagnosis and care. The COST: A Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy Measure of Financial Toxicity (FACIT-COST) is the most widely used cancer-specific measure of subjective financial toxicity, having been validated in multiple languages, but not in Indonesian. This study aimed to validate the Indonesian version of FACIT-COST in a breast cancer sample. Methods A single-center prospective cohort study was performed in Indonesia. Female breast cancer patients aged ≥ 18 undergoing treatment at baseline were invited to participate and followed for up to six months. The survey included the official Indonesian version of FACIT-COST (v2) which was administered to the patients by interviewers. Clinical information (e.g., metastasis status, disease duration) was provided based on medical records. The following measurement properties of FACIT-COST were tested: distributional characteristics, structural validity (principal component [PCA] and confirmatory factor analyses [CFA]), internal consistency reliability (Cronbach’s alpha and McDonald’s omega), known-groups validity (Mann-Whitney U or Kruskal-Wallis H test), test-retest reliability, and responsiveness to change. Results Overall, 300 female patients participated at baseline. No patients reported the best or worst possible FACIT-COST total scores. The PCA proposed a two-factor model structure for the instrument, which was confirmed by the CFA (RMSEA = 0.042, SRMR = 0.049, CFI = 0.99, TLI = 0.99). The internal consistency reliability of the two factors was considered adequate (Cronbach’s alpha = 0.774–0.882, McDonald’s omega = 0.786–0.888). The FACIT-COST total score significantly discriminated across the following known-groups: age, education, residential setting, income, employment, metastasis status, number of symptoms, and financial coping strategies. The FACIT-COST demonstrated excellent test-retest reliability (intraclass correlation coefficient = 0.96) and satisfactory responsiveness to change (standardized response mean and effect size ranges=|0.39| to |0.92|). Conclusions This is the first study to validate the FACIT-COST in patients with breast cancer and to present the measurement properties of the Indonesian version of FACIT-COST. The Indonesian FACIT-COST demonstrates acceptable psychometric performance and shows potential as a valid measure of subjective financial toxicity. The instrument may serve as a valuable tool for informing health policies that focus on providing resource support to improve cancer care in Indonesia.

Kapal perikanan merupakan modal utama dalam usaha penangkapan ikan. PT Jelajah Samudera Internasional, sebuah perusahaan galangan kapal pembangunan kapal fiberglass di Kabupaten Jepara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aspek kritis di galangan kapal PT Jelajah Samudera Internasional, termasuk sumber daya manusia, teknis pembangunan kapal fiberglass, dan kelayakan usaha melalui analisis deskriptif dan finansial, serta menyusun strategi pengembangan bisnis yang tepat. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dan purposive sampling. Analisis penelitian mencakup analisis finansial dan SWOT. Perhitungan aspek finansial dilakukan dengan metode NPV, PI, R/C ratio, PP, dan IRR, sementara analisis SWOT digunakan untuk menentukan strategi pengembangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT Jelajah Samudera Internasional memiliki sumber daya manusia yang terorganisir dengan baik, dengan struktur organisasi yang jelas dan terdiri dari tenaga kerja tetap dan tidak tetap. Aspek teknis pembangunan kapal sesuai dengan standar, dengan proses laminasi menggunakan metode hand-lay up sesuai SNI 8961:2021 dan desain rancang kapal yang lengkap, termasuk lines plan, construction profile, transverse construction, general arrangement, desain poros propeller, dan sistem kelistrikan. Aspek ekonomi perusahaan juga layak, dengan nilai NPV sebesar Rp 10.113.527.932, IRR 16%, payback period 1,49 tahun, R/C ratio 1,53, dan profitability index 1,89. Strategi pengembangan usaha yang efektif menggunakan strategi kuadran I, yaitu dengan meningkatkan jumlah produksi kapal melalui pemanfaatan fasilitas dan tenaga kerja secara optimal. PT Jelajah Samudera Internasional memiliki delapan strategi pengembangan yang dapat dijalankan.

Pancasila, the foundational philosophy of Indonesia, serves as a unifying force in a diverse nation characterized by myriad islands, ethnicities, races, and religions. In a world where globalization and migration are prevalent, understanding how national values are maintained by citizens living abroad becomes increasingly significant. This study focuses on Indonesian students at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), a group representing a microcosm of the Indonesian diaspora. It explores how these students nurture and strengthen their nationalism and internalize Pancasila values despite residing in a foreign country. Utilizing qualitative research methods, with semi-structured interviews as a primary approach to dive deeper into the experiences of these individuals, the study reveals intricate dynamics of cultural adaptation, identity preservation, and the reinforcement of national values. Three thematic insights emerge from the analysis: the role of Pancasila in promoting openness and understanding among diverse groups, the importance of diversity as a reflection of Indonesian society itself, and the complex sense of nationalism experienced by students living abroad. These findings shed light on the dynamic process of internalizing national values within the Indonesian diaspora and contribute to a broader understanding of how cultural identity and cohesion can be maintained across borders. The study highlights the importance of community, cultural practices, and the role of education in fostering a sense of belonging and nationalism among Indonesians abroad, providing valuable insights for policymakers, educators, and diaspora communities striving to preserve national identity in a globalized world.

The impact of the Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, which emerged in 2019, has not only threatened public health but also affected the global economy, including Indonesia. The government has initiated various aid programs to assist the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. These aids are expected to alleviate the economic burden on the affected population. One such aid program is the Direct Cash Assistance (Bantuan Langsung Tunai/BLT) from the Village Fund, which has been distributed since the onset of COVID-19 in Indonesia. However, the distribution of BLT has encountered several issues, including misidentification of recipients and double or excessive distribution beyond the established criteria. To address these issues, data mining for the classification of aid recipients can be employed. This study uses the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method for data mining classification to classify residents' data with new patterns, ensuring aid distribution aligns with the criteria and eliminating double recipients. The application of K-Nearest Neighbor to the population data in Kasomalang District yields optimal performance, with evaluation results showing an accuracy of 96%, precision of 0.98, recall of 0.96, and F1 score of 0.97 using the confusion matrix method.

This research aims to analyze the concept and implementation of temporary waqf by Law Number 41 of 2004 and evaluate the experience of the Darul Waqf Al-Hadiy Foundation in managing such waqf. The research method used is qualitative with an Empirical Law type, involving data collection through interviews and observations and qualitative descriptive analysis of primary and secondary data. The research results indicate that based on Law Number 41 of 2004, temporary waqf is permitted and regulated. However, implementing temporary waqf at the Darul Waqf Al-Hadiy Foundation faces various challenges, including difficulties in creating sustainable programs, high rehabilitation costs, and administrative complexity. Although temporary waqf provides significant benefits for Islamic religious education and the welfare of the local community, its management requires better education and improved competency for nazhir. More effective and sustainable waqf management can be achieved if the nazir has adequate experience and capabilities

Abstract Aim: This study aimed to comprehensively assess the biocompatibility and toxicity profiles of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) and its monomeric unit, methyl methacrylate (MMA), crucial components in dental materials for interim prosthetic restorations. Methodology: Molecular docking was employed to predict the binding affinities, energetics, and steric features of MMA and PMMA with selected receptors involved in bone metabolism and tissue development, including RANKL, Fibronectin, BMP9, NOTCH2, and other related receptors. The HADDOCK standalone version was utilized for docking calculations, employing a Lamarckian genetic algorithm to explore the conformational space of ligand-receptor interactions. Furthermore, molecular dynamics (MD) simulations over 100 nanoseconds were conducted using the GROMACS package to evaluate dynamic actions and structural stability. The LigandScout was utilized for pharmacophore modeling, which employs a shape-based screening approach to identify potential ligand binding sites on protein targets. Results: The molecular docking studies elucidated promising interactions between PMMA and MMA with key biomolecular targets relevant to dental applications. MD simulation results provided strong evidence supporting the structural stability of PMMA complexes over time. Pharmacophore modeling highlighted the significance of carbonyl and hydroxyl groups as pharmacophoric features, indicating compounds with favorable biocompatibility profiles. Conclusion: This study underscores the potential of PMMA in dental applications, emphasizing its structural stability, molecular interactions, and safety considerations. These findings lay a foundation for future advancements in dental biomaterials, guiding the design and optimization of materials for enhanced biocompatibility. Future directions include experimental validation of computational findings and the development of PMMA-based dental materials with improved biocompatibility and clinical performance. UB Forest Sumbersari is a forest for multidisciplinary research and development in Brawijaya University. In order to improve and reducing the environmental damage around the road due to water flow, the planned drainage system by implementing BIM. BIM has a major role in coordinating and integrating information exchange and knowledge between various disciplines and phases in the project implementation. In this study, the Autodesk Civil 3D and Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA) are employed as a BIM platform. Autodesk Civil 3D is the latest version of AutoCAD Land Desktop development that has used the dynamic modeling concept. Autodesk Civil 3D helps facilitate in case of design changes as well as in the calculating of job volume such as the volume of cut and fill of the soil and volume of required materials in drainage channel planning. While SSA facilities plan on hydraulics such as flow depth, maximum velocity, channel slope, and channel dimensions. Based on the result of the SSA analysis, the dimensions of drainage channel are 30 cm x 30 cm, 50 cm x 50 xm, 65 cm x 65 cm, and 80 cm x 80 cm. And generated volume of cut equals to 3148,02 m3, while the volume of fill equals to 296,93 m3, with total required volume of gravel reaches 444,8 m3.

Abstract Background Dental resin-based composites are widely recognized for their aesthetic appeal and adhesive properties, which make them integral to modern restorative dentistry. Despite their advantages, adhesion and biomechanical performance challenges persist, necessitating innovative strategies for improvement. This study addressed the challenges associated with adhesion and biomechanical properties in dental resin-based composites by employing molecular docking and dynamics simulation. Methods Molecular docking assesses the binding energies and provides valuable insights into the interactions between monomers, fillers, and coupling agents. This investigation prioritizes SiO2 and TRIS, considering their consistent influence. Molecular dynamics simulations, executed with the Forcite module and COMPASS II force field, extend the analysis to the mechanical properties of dental composite complexes. The simulations encompassed energy minimization, controlled NVT and NPT ensemble simulations, and equilibration stages. Notably, the molecular dynamics simulations spanned a duration of 50 ns. Results SiO2 and TRIS consistently emerged as influential components, showcasing their versatility in promoting solid interactions. A correlation matrix underscores the significant roles of van der Waals and desolvation energies in determining the overall binding energy. Molecular dynamics simulations provide in-depth insights into the mechanical properties of dental composite complexes. HEMA-SiO2-TRIS excelled in stiffness, BisGMA-SiO2-TRIS prevailed in terms of flexural strength, and EBPADMA-SiO2-TRIS offered a balanced combination of mechanical properties. Conclusion These findings provide valuable insights into optimizing dental composites tailored to diverse clinical requirements. While EBPADMA-SiO2-TRIS demonstrates distinct strengths, this study emphasizes the need for further research. Future investigations should validate the computational findings experimentally and assess the material's response to dynamic environmental factors.

The shift towards electric vehicles (EVs) signifies a substantial transformation in automotive technology and consumer preferences. This study investigates the multifaceted factors influencing Indonesian consumers' purchase intentions towards EVs by integrating the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) with additional variables: Environmental Knowledge (EK), Intolerance of Uncertainty (IoU), and Financial Incentive Policies (FIP). Employing a quantitative approach, data from 220 respondents were collected through an online survey and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Findings indicate that Attitude (AT), Subjective Norms (SN), FIP, and EK significantly and positively correlate with Purchase Intention (PI), while Perceived Behavioral Control (PBC) exerts no significant influence. Conversely, IoU demonstrates a significant negative association with PI. Furthermore, AT mediates the relationships between EK, IoU, and PI. These insights offer valuable contributions to academic discourse and provide practical guidance for policymakers, marketers, and industry stakeholders seeking to accelerate EV adoption through informed strategies and supportive policies.

In the past decade, the concept of dyadic coping as a buffer against stress in romantic relationships has received much attention in Western countries, but it has rarely been studied in non-Western countries and among parents with school-aged children. The aim of the present study was to investigate the moderating effect of dyadic coping on the link between financial strain and marital satisfaction, as well as the mediating effect of marital satisfaction on the relationship between financial strain and quality of life. There were 751 heterosexual couples whose eldest child aged 7–12 years in West Java, Indonesia (mean age husband = 37.53 SD = 5.09; mean age wife = 34.42 SD = 4.85) fulfilled the paper and pencil questionnaires in the study. The moderated mediated model illustrated that (1) greater levels of dyadic coping weakened the negative association between financial strain and marital satisfaction for husbands and for wives (2) for both husbands and wives, there were no mediation effect (3) for both husbands and wives, financial strain was negatively associated with quality of life; and marital satisfaction was positively associated with quality of life. We discuss both the theoretical and practical implications of these findings.

In Indonesia, packaged instant coffee plays a significant role in contemporary society. This has resulted in the emergence of new customs and trends within the beverage industry. Luwak White Koffie is evidence of the existence of white instant ground coffee, a new coffee variety in Indonesia. The objective of this study is to examine the impact of customer satisfaction, brand trust, and brand ambassadors on Luwak White Koffie's customer loyalty in Surabaya. The study's population consisted of individuals residing in Surabaya. A total of 91 respondents from the Surabaya City region who had purchased and consumed Luwak White Koffie products constituted the sample. The study methodology employed is quantitative, and sampling strategies include both purposive and non-probability sampling. The Smart-PLS test instrument is used in this study. The findings of the study demonstrate that Brand Ambassadors significantly and favorably impact Customer Loyalty. Furthermore, Customer Loyalty is positively and significantly impacted by Customer Satisfaction, and the same case with Customer Loyalty towards Brand Trust.

In the era of digital development, beauty, and personal care e-commerce has gained significant popularity among the public. SOCO by Sociolla is one of the beauty e-commerce platforms in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to investigate the connection between perceived value and e-service quality and customer satisfaction among users of the SOCO by Sociolla application in Surabaya. The quantitive method is employed in this research. The population of this study is the people of Surabaya. The sample of this research was selected using purposive sampling to select individuals who met specific criteria. These criteria included downloading the SOCO by Sociolla application, actively using it by making purchases, and having a history of at least two separate purchases. Ultimately, the study included 91 respondents who met these criteria. The research utilized Smart PLS software as the analysis tool. This study’s conclusions demonstrate that among Surabaya City users of the SOCO by Sociolla, perceived value and e-service quality have a positive significant influence on customer satisfaction.

The coffee connoisseur index is rising by around 8% annually. Alongside the proliferation of coffee shops, the amount of plastic waste from packaging is also on the rise. Fore Coffee is innovating by using eco-friendly packaging to protect the environment. However, this does not guarantee an increase in Fore Coffee sales. One of Fore's strategies to boost sales is to create a unique and distinctive store atmosphere that sets it apart from other coffee shops. This study aims to examine the effect of green packaging and store atmosphere on consumer purchase intention. The research methodology employed is quantitative in nature. The study encompasses the population of Surabaya City residents. A non-probability sampling method, specifically purposive sampling, is utilized to select a sample of 96 respondents who identify as patrons of local coffee shops and are aware of Fore Coffee's environmentally friendly product concept. Smart-PLS version 3 serves as the statistical tool employed in this research. The findings of the study reveal that green packaging exerts a significantly positive impact on purchase intention, while store atmosphere also exhibits a significantly positive influence on purchase intention.

Therefore, the utilization of a sales forecasting system will greatly assist the store in processing data and transactions regarding sales. Because with the data related to the sale of goods from the previous period, it can conclude or predict the sales volume in the coming period. Abstract Background The EuroQol Group recently developed two new instruments, the EQ Health and Wellbeing (EQ-HWB) and the EQ Health and Wellbeing short version (EQ-HWB-S). The EQ-HWB and EQ-HWB-S are intended to capture a broad range of health and broader quality of life aspects, which may be relevant to general public members, patients, their families, social care users and informal carers. This study assesses the content validity of the Italian version of the two instruments in a sample of Italian patients, social care users and informal carers. Methods Participants were recruited using a convenience sampling approach. One-on-one interviews were carried out using video-conferencing interviews. A semi-structured topic guide was used to guide the interview procedures, with open-ended questions supplemented by probes. Participants were asked to explain important aspects of their health and quality of life, to complete the questionnaires and verbalize their thoughts. Results Twenty participants comprising of patients (n = 9), informal carers (n = 6), and members of the general public (n = 5) participated to the study. Content validity was summarized into six main themes: comprehension, interpretation, acceptability, relevance, response options and recall period. All participants found the instruments easy or quite easy to understand and to respond to. Items were relevant for all three groups of participants, and response options appropriate. Conclusions The Italian version of the EQ-HWB showed content validity in measuring health and wellbeing in a mixed Italian population.

The urban development increase in the built-up areas leads to more impervious areas with the consequence of larger runoff. Undeniably, this excess water has many benefits. Low-impact development (LID) is one of the innovations to conserve wasted runoff water. The two LID scenarios (water storage – WS; infiltration – I) under different rainfall depths (20, 25, 30, 35 mm) are assessed using Storm Water Management Model (SWMM) and analyzed based on their benefit–cost. This study aims to evaluate the hydrological performance and the benefit–cost ratio to identify the optimal LID design. The benefit calculation is not only projected by runoff reduction aspects, but also the other opportunities aspects. Based on the hydrological performance, scenario I shows a higher runoff reduction performance than scenario WS. Based on the benefits aspects studied, scenario I provides greater benefits with more cost than the WS scenario. Rainfall depth influenced the life cycle cost with 20-mm WS scenario experiencing faster payback period than other scenarios. HIGHLIGHTS Scenario infiltration excels in reducing runoff, particularly in low rainfall conditions.; Scenario water storage with 20-mm rainfall depth offers the best cost-effectiveness, but sensitivity to costs and discount rate emphasized.;

This policy, vigorously promoted by President Jokowi, aligns with the broader vision to bolster Indonesia’s economic competitiveness and achieve self-sufficiency by enhancing the domestic nickel processing industry. Utilizing its substantial nickel reserves, Indonesia not only seeks to strengthen its economic position but also to assert its sovereignty in global affairs, potentially shaping international nickel market dynamics. This policy serves dual purposes: it addresses domestic economic goals and strategically positions Indonesia as an influential player in the global nickel market. Monitoring the outcomes of this policy will be crucial in understanding its impacts on Indonesia’s economy and its relations on the international stage, ensuring that the country maximizes benefits from its natural resources.

Penelitian ini dilakukan di kecamatan palu selatan kota palu, Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa masyarakat di kantor Kecamatan Palu Selatan yang mengeluhkan tentang dokumen yang belum bisa diambil karena belum ditandatangani Camat. Hal ini memberi asumsi kepada peneliti tentang kedisiplinan Camat dalam melaksanakan tugas. Apakah Camat jarang datang ke kantor sehingga ada masyarakat yang mengeluh?. Faktor inilah yang mendasari penelitian tentang kinerja Camat di Kecamatan Palu Selatan menjadi relevan dan penting untuk dilakukan serta diharapkan dapat ditemukan gambaran yang komprehensif mengenai kinerja Camat dalam melaksanakan program Pembangunan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Bagaimana Kinerja Camat Dalam Implementasi Program Pembangunan Di Kecamatan Palu Selatan Kota Palu, menggunakan teori kinerja Suyadi Prawirosentono, dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja Camat Palu Selatan dalam implementasi program pembangunan di wilayahnya dapat berjalan baik berdasarkan teori yang di gunakan yaitu Efektifitas dan efisiensi, dibuktikan dengan kemampuannya memberikan sumbangsih nyata yang terstrukstur, terkontrol dan terawasi dengan baik. Otoritas dan tanggung jawab, dilihat dengan tercapainya Renstra Kecamatan sesuai kewenangannya. Disiplin, terbukti dengan datang dan meninggalkan kantor tepat waktu (kecuali ada hal mendesak seperti pekerjaan diluar kantor), saat jam kerja beliau serius mengerjakan pekerjaan dan dapat diselesaikan tepat waktu. Inisiatif, ditunjukkan dengan inovasi dan kreatifitas, dibuktikan dengan ikut dalam kelancaran kegiatan Inovasi Pelangi 2022.

The development of a digital marketing-based business model at the Kurdut Garage Workshop in Pematangsiantar has a very important urgency in facing the ever-growing era of digitalization. The method used in implementing this activity is through lectures and FGD (group discussion forum). The stages of implementing this event include explaining the fundamentals of being an entrepreneur, explaining several problems that entrepreneurs often face, then continuing with discussions related to developing new businesses. After the service activities are completed, follow-up interviews are conducted regarding the impact of implementing the service activities. By the results of the interview, it is known that the understanding of Kurdut Garage Workshop business owners regarding knowledge of the use of digital marketing has increased by 90%. The use of digital media is useful and can increase understanding and skills for partners. Therefore, it is recommended that sustainable methods of mentoring partners can be used as a solution to increase business size and also function as a means of company adaptation to increase business scale.

The mandatory carbon reduction guidelines and regulations in Indonesia encourage all industrial sectors particularly the petroleum industry to implement decarbonization programs by systematically reducing carbon emissions as part of climate action. Unlike existing carbon emission studies in the petroleum industry, the literature lacks studies on the decarbonization patterns. In addition, the effectiveness of carbon mitigation in the upstream oil and gas field has not been studied so far. This study developed short panel data models to understand the current decarbonization efforts and patterns during 2015–2018. The results indicate that the considered variables are significantly impactful in carbon reduction with different coefficient patterns. It is suggested to associate decarbonization with oil and gas production and highlight energy efficiency optimization to stabilize production. The impact of financial, human, and administrative resources on the supporting facility is critical for executing sustainable carbon mitigation projects.

The UB Forest Buntoro area is a biodiversity conservation zone that has the potential to be developed into a tourist forest, so it is planned to build a drainage channel in each section of the road to overcome the runoff that occurs. This research aims to describe an example of the application of BIM in construction planning for drainage channels. In this study, drainage channel planning was done using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA) software. The AutoCAD Civil 3D application is used to create a road route for which drainage channels are planned, and the SSA is used to analyze the hydrology and hydraulics of the drainage channel. Based on Building Information Modeling findings, the optimal drainage channel design yielded channel dimensions of 0.4 m × 0.4 m. The main channels (RC (Right Channel) and LC (Left Channel)) are planned to use gabion material, while the culverts are planned to use u-ditch material and a construction planning cost of 1.571.818.500,00 IDR. This study intends to give an example of how Building Information Modeling (BIM) is applied in Indonesia, particularly in the area of water resources. Objectives. The Brief Reason for Living Inventory for Adolescents (BRFL-A) is used to assess protective factors against suicide in non-clinical settings. This study aimed to validate the psychometric properties of BRFL-A in Bahasa Indonesia. Methods. A total of 728 high-school and university students filled BRFL-A questionnaire and the results were analyzed. The reliability, content, convergent, discriminant, and factorial or construct validity, were investigated using content validity index Cronbach’s Alpha, while content validity index (CVI), confirmatory factor analysis, and Pearson product-moment correlation were assesed with MSPSS, SIS, INQ-15, and DASS-18. Results. The results showed that the Indonesian version of BRFL-A had good internal consistency, test-retest reliability, as well as content and concurrent validity, supporting both the 1-factor and the 5-factor model of factorial validity. Conclusions. The Indonesian version of the BRFL-A was valid and reliable to measure protective factors against suicide risk among adolescents and young adults in non-clinical settings.

This study explored the image transformation of Busan, South Korea, from an industrial hub to a globally recognized City of Film. By employing a paradiplomacy framework, the research examined how Busan utilized BIFF as both a cultural event and a strategic tool for international diplomacy, economic development, and city branding. This qualitative research focused on gathering data largely through a comprehensive evaluation of scientific literature, including books and papers relevant to the case study. The analyses delved into the evolution of the BIFF event and its significant role in rebranding Busan from a declining industrial city to the first "City of Film" in Asia, a title bestowed by UNESCO. The study highlighted how the festival had successfully stimulated local economic growth, bolstered creative industries, and facilitated cultural exchange. The result demonstrated that BIFF had been pivotal in repositioning Busan as a significant player in the international film industry and a vibrant cultural destination. In conclusion, Busan's status as Asia's "City of Film" should be sustained, and the ongoing significance of integrating cultural initiatives with wider urban development strategies should also be emphasized.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as business units in the community's economic activities must survive in the global economy. The demand in the dynamics of the global economy is the presence of sustainable products following the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a circular economy. It is necessary to strengthen the capacity of MSMEs to produce sustainable products to survive, especially in the global market with a circular economy that is economically and environmentally beneficial. This study and community service was conducted at one of the MSMEs in Agam, West Sumatra, named Kejulasi. Using the literature study method, field observation, and direct dialogue with the business owner, concluded that Kejulasi is still in the process of producing sustainable products. Beyond investment and technology, Kejulasi requires intervention from the government and academia despite the structural barriers arising from international agreements on trade liberalization. In conclusion, a more extensive initiative from the producer and social groups is needed, especially in forming cooperatives, digitalizing cooperatives, and cooperative-based dairy industry ecosystems that enable them to produce sustainable products and survive in the dynamics of the global economy.

Berdasarkan hasil observasi bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimum (KKM) yang telah ditetapkan, dan siswa kelas VIII kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran serta kurang semangat dalam belajar IPA. Untuk itu diperlukan strategi yang membutuhkan siswa untuk menemukan sesuatu, memecahkan masalah, dan melibatkan siswa dalam pembelajaran yaitu dengan menggunakan strategi inquiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi inquiri terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas VIII di SMP N 2 Kota Solok. Penelitian erbentuk kuantitatif quasy experiment. Populasi penelitian siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Kota Solok, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling, kelas VIII.1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VIII.3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data berbentuk tes tertulis. Alat pengumpul data adalah lembar soal dan lembar jawaban tes berbentuk obyektif sebanyak 40 butir soal. Jenis data berupa hasil belajar siswa. Sumber datanya adalah siswa. Data diolah dengan menggunakan t-test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan didapatkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas VIII1 sebagai kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelas VIII3 sebagai kontrol. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada nilai rata-rata nilai 82,42 pada kelas eksperimen dan 74,67 pada kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan t-test menunjukkan hasil thitung 4,49 sedangkan ttable 2,00 pada taraf kepercayaan 0,05, sehingga thitung>ttable. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan staregi inquiri dengan pembelajaran konvensional.

Research in recent years has shown that Bitcoin is a virtual asset that is used as a medium of exchange and investment tool other than shares and bonds, the development of the digital era has opened up opportunities for Bitcoin to be chosen as part of an investor’s portfolio. The focus of this study is to examine the impact of nine key determinants on Bitcoin price. The data used in the study are daily data starting from January 1, 2018 to January 1, 2022. The main data source is taken from Investing.com, and the estimation method applied is the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). The main finding shows that Bitcoin Volume impacts Bitcoin Price negatively, which is in line with the demand theory. Another finding is related to the substitute effect of Ethereum Volume, Litecoin Volume, and Gold Volume, each of which influences Bitcoin Price positively, suggesting that these three commodities are substitutes to Bitcoin. In contrast, whereas Oil Volume has an insignificant effect on Bitcoin price in the short term, it has a negative significant impact in the long term. In addition, LQ45 stock index Volume influences Bitcoin Price positively in the short term, suggesting that LQ45 stock index and Bitcoin substitute for each other. Moreover, Google Trends impacts Bitcoin price positively in the long term. In terms of the income effect, either the Indonesian GDP or US GDP has a strong positive effect on Bitcoin price in both the short and long term.

Suppressor of cytokine signaling 2 (SOCS2), an E3 ubiquitin ligase, regulates the JAK/STAT signaling pathway, essential for cytokine signaling and immune responses. Its dysregulation contributes to cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) by promoting abnormal cell growth, inflammation, and resistance to cell death. This study aimed to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying the interactions between Lumbricus-derived proteins and peptides and SOCS2, with a focus on identifying potential therapeutic candidates for CVDs. Utilizing a multifaceted approach, advanced computational methodologies, including 3D structure modeling, protein–protein docking, 100 ns molecular dynamics (MD) simulations, and MM/PBSA calculations, were employed to assess the binding affinities and functional implications of Lumbricus-derived proteins on SOCS2 activity. The findings revealed that certain proteins, such as Lumbricin, Chemoattractive glycoprotein ES20, and Lumbrokinase-7T1, exhibited similar activities to standard antagonists in modulating SOCS2 activity. Furthermore, MM/PBSA calculations were employed to assess the binding free energies of these proteins with SOCS2. Specifically, Lumbricin exhibited an average ΔGbinding of −59.25 kcal/mol, Chemoattractive glycoprotein ES20 showed −55.02 kcal/mol, and Lumbrokinase-7T1 displayed −69.28 kcal/mol. These values suggest strong binding affinities between these proteins and SOCS2, reinforcing their potential therapeutic efficacy in cardiovascular diseases. Further in vitro and animal studies are recommended to validate these findings and explore broader applications of Lumbricus-derived proteins.

IntroductionEmotion dysregulation is a transdiagnostic marker for vulnerability and has high comorbidity rates across various range of disorders among adolescents and young adults, highlighting the crucial need for precise assessment tools to recognize its significant impact on well-being. The Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale Short Form (DERS-SF) is a comprehensive instrument designed to measure the ability to regulate emotion. This study aimed to investigate the psychometric properties of DERS-SF among the non-clinical population, particularly high school and university students in Indonesia.MethodsA total of 738 senior high school and university students completed the Indonesian version of DERS-SF and standard questionnaires to assess its validity, consisting of the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS), the Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II) for young adults and the Children Depression Inventory (CDI) for adolescents. Three models were examined in factorial validity tests using confirmatory factor analysis.ResultsThe results showed that DERS-SF had an overall good internal consistency with Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of.89 for the 18-item version,.90 for the 17-item version, and.91 for the 15-item version. Test-retest reliability was moderate with a value of.67. In addition, it had good satisfactory content as shown by item content validity index (I-CVI) = .96 and scale content validity index (S-CVI) = .83, as well as convergent validity. All subscales scores showed a positive and strong correlation with DASS, BDI-II, and CDI except awareness. Based on confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), the correlated 6-factor model excluding item number 6, and the 5-factor model excluding awareness were suitable to use in non-clinical populations.ConclusionThis study established the removal of the awareness subscale in the DERS-SF Indonesian version, resulting in better reliability and validity than the original version with complete subscales.

This study aims to investigate the relationship between the types of energy companies, namely coal, gas and oil, and their performance levels. In addition, the influence of companies that have high sensitivity to the environment on company performance is also tested. Several important variables were also tested such as social activities, governance, as well as the type of energy company, namely coal, gas and oil. The research was conducted on energy companies and basic material industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2021. The method used is multiple regression analysis with a data sample of 154 observations. Four models are used in measuring financial performance, namely ROA, ROE, NPM, and new reduced variables. It was found that environmental activities do not affect performance, including in companies that have high sensitivity. Likewise, social activities and corporate governance proxied by female directors, intensity of board meetings, and board education have no significant effect. On the other hand, liquidity has a positive effect on ROA, DER has a negative effect on ROE and performance reduction results. A unique finding shows that only coal companies have a positive relationship with the performance of companies in the energy sector.

The use of digital payment systems is increasing in recent times. Digital payment systems allow users to make payments more easily and practically through their smartphones. LinkAja is a digital wallet application that allows us to make various transactions online. This study was conducted to examine what influences interest in using the LinkAja application and the influence of subjective intentions, attitudes, and norms on interest in using it. The theory that underlies this research is the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA). The method used is a quantitative research method, the research data come from the results of a questionnaire filled out by 40 LinkAja users from several cities in the provinces of Jakarta and West Java. The sampling technique is probability sampling and simple random sampling. Testing and data processing is done using SPSS. The results obtained in this study state that the Intentions, Attitudes, and Subjective Norms together (simultaneously) have a significant influence on the Interest in Using the LinkAja Digital Wallet application.

In 2021, pak choi production in Indonesia was 727.47 Mg, marking an increase of 8.2% compared to the 2020 production, which was 667.47 Mg. Therefore, there is a clear need for cultivation improvement, particularly through the implementation of organic fertilisers. This study aimed to investigate the impact of liquid organic fertiliser (LOF) derived from fish waste and duck manure on the growth and yield of the pak choi plant ( Brassica rapa. L. var. Nauli F1). A randomised block design factorial was used with two factors and three replications. The first factor considered was LOF from fish waste, comprising three levels (LOF 0 = control, LOF 1 = 25 cm 3∙dm –3 of water, and LOF2 = 50 cm 3∙dm –3 of water). The second factor focused on duck manure fertiliser (DMF) and involved four levels (DMF 0 = control, DMF 1 = 3.7 kg∙plot –1, DMF 2 = 5.55 kg∙plot –1, and DMF 3 = 7.4 kg∙plot –1). The results showed that the application of LOF from fish waste positively influenced the growth and yield of pak choi, with the most effective treatment observed in LOF1 (25 cm 3∙dm –3 of water). However, the application of DMF did not yield a significant difference in its effect on the growth and yield of the pak choi plant. The control treatment (DMF 0) reported comparable results and the combination of LOF from fish waste and DMF did not show a significant effect, with the most favourable findings observed in the LOF 2DMF 0 treatment (50 cm 3∙dm –3 and control).

The uncontrolled accumulation of garbage at the TPS will of course greatly disturb the comfort of the community around the TPS. As is the case with the accumulation of garbage at TPS (Garbage Disposal Sites) in North Purwokerto District. When searching for this garbage transportation route, the Greedy Algorithm works by finding the smallest weight point by calculating the route passed and calculating the weight depending on the weight of the stages that have been passed and the weight at the stage itself. Based on the results of the system testing that has been made, the shortest route for transporting waste from the starting point of the Banyumas Environment Office is to go to the final disposal site in Tipar, and return to the starting point of the Banyumas Environmental Office. So that the total distance traveled to return to the starting point is 53 km long. Based on the findings and discussions of this research, the results obtained are the determination of the shortest route from node A back to node A. Specifically, the route involves traveling from the DLH Banyumas Regency to TPS Grendeng, TPS Karangwangkal, TPS Pabuwaran, TPS Sumampir, TPS Purwanegara, TPS Bobosan, to TPA Tipar, and then returning to DLH Banyumas Regency. These results have implementable implications in the context of waste management in this area, with a total distance traveled of 53 kilometers.

Digital system has been a part of human life since the invention of the computer with a microprocessor as the central brain. At the heart of a processor is an Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU) that handles arithmetic and logic operations. The need for high-speed computation to handle complex computations demands microprocessors with higher performance. The existing 4-opcode 8-bit ALU cannot handle multiplication operations, so a solution is needed. In this research, while raising the appeal of beginners, a 12-bit ALU with eight operation codes (opcode) was designed and implemented in Xilinx’s Field Programmable Gate Array using a schematic diagram approach through logic gates. The designed and implemented ALU provides addition, subtraction, multiplication, square, AND, OR, NAND, and XOR operations. The multiplication operation was tested by performing the computation to provided datasets to obtain the distance travelled by ten military aircraft based on their maximum speed and air travel duration to ensure its performance. The computation performance comparison with an 8-bit ALU with four opcodes was also done. The computation was done for air travel between 10 to 60 minutes with a 10-minute difference. It was found that the 12-bit ALU with eight opcodes outperformed its contender with computation differences between 130.815 ns and 1,468.214 ns. This high performance is supported by the multiply operation that does repeated addition at one time. Based on this finding, the 8-opcode 12-bit ALU is more efficient in the context of computation time, with consistent accuracy. Moreover, the computation time required to calculate military aircraft data with different maximum speeds and air travel duration is only 119.501 ns.

In today's aircraft industry, the flight control system and landing gear system cannot be separated from the role of the hydraulic technology system. As the prime mover of the hydraulic pump or actuator hydraulic system, a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is used. This PMSM is a substitute for the role of conventional combustion engines, and PMSM is considered to have several advantages in increasing performance and efficiency. This research will develop a system to find parameter values for Linear Quadratic Gaussian (LQG) controllers in a hydraulic pump system that is installed as a load from PMSM and then observe and analyze the performance of the response of the synchronous motor system, namely in the form of changes in rotor rotation speed, torque electric power, and stator current on the q-axis. The results of the research on the characteristics of the PMSM implemented in the hydraulic pump system show that the LQG controller is more optimal when compared to the observer controller. The LQG controller is known to have a faster transient response, which is indicated by the value of the settling time improvement at no load, namely 116.67% for the observer controller and 364.705% without the controller. Then when the synchronous motor serves the nominal load, the rotational speed of the rotor produced in the steady state becomes 8.29% faster than the observer controller and 74.49% without the controller. This rotor's rotational speed affects the time the actuator needs to extend and retract motion.

Abstract The genomic spectrum of rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) progression from primary to relapse is not fully understood. In this pilot study, we explore the sensitivity of various targeted and whole-genome NGS platforms in order to assess the best genomic approach of using liquid biopsy in future prospective clinical trials. Moreover, we investigate 35 paired primary/relapsed RMS from two contributing institutions, 18 fusion-positive (FP-RMS) and 17 fusion-negative RMS (FN-RMS) by either targeted DNA or whole exome sequencing (WES). In 10 cases, circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) from multiple timepoints through clinical care and progression was analyzed for feasibility of liquid biopsy in monitoring treatment response/relapse. ctDNA alterations were evaluated using a targeted 36-gene custom RMS panel at high coverage for single-nucleotide variation and fusion detection, and a shallow whole-genome sequencing for copy number variation. FP-RMS have a stable genome with relapse, with common secondary alterations CDKN2A/B, MYCN, and CDK4 present at diagnosis and impacting survival. FP-RMS lacking major secondary events at baseline acquire recurrent MYCN and AKT1 alterations. FN-RMS acquire a higher number of new alterations, most commonly SMARCA2 missense mutations. ctDNA analyses detect pathognomonic variants in all RMS patients within our collection at diagnosis, regardless of type of alterations, and confirmed at relapse in 86% of FP-RMS and 100% FN-RMS. Moreover, a higher number of fusion reads is detected with increased disease burden and at relapse in patients following a fatal outcome. These results underscore patterns of tumor progression and provide rationale for using liquid biopsy to monitor treatment response.

In recent years, the Indonesian government has suffered a huge loss of state assets due to the misbehavior of corporations in financial management because the Indonesian legal system does not have a specific regulation to address corporate financial crime. When a corporate financial crime case arises, Indonesian law enforcement approaches this crime using the Anti-Corruption Act. However, the aim to retrieve the stolen government assets purloined by a corporation using the Anti-Corruption Act is still insufficient, therefore, other related regulations such as the Money Laundering Act have to apply as an additional instrument to realize optimal recovery from the misbehaving corporation. Because the long process involved in criminal and civil courts it is sometimes a waste of the law enforcement effort and the funds expended to get paid back from offenders and/or corporations because the money received is much lower than the money lost or even zero. To bridge the gap between the money lost initially and the repayment money, because of the lack of special legal regulation concerning corporate financial crime, this research intends to study the possibility of using a “disgorgement of profits” approach as a faster way to get the maximum repayment of stolen money/assets from instances of corporate financial crime in out-of-court settlements.

The wastewater from the textile industry generally contains toxic chemicals methylene blue that are difficult to degrade by the environment. This study aims to develop a high-performance natural photocatalyst from Bentonite impregnated by N-TiO2 with a high photodegradation rate for methylene blue removal under UV and visible light. Characterization of the material was conducted using SEM-EDX, XRD, and FTIR. The EDX results showed that elemental N had been detected in N-TiO2 and N-TiO2/activated bentonite. The FTIR spectra showed that the absorption peak of N-TiO2/activated bentonite is similar to that of activated bentonite and N-TiO2. The N-TiO2/activated bentonite diffractogram showed the peaks of quartz and montmorillonite minerals. The N-TiO2/activated bentonite photocatalyst resulted in a decrease in the bandgap energy of 3.06 eV. The decline in band gap energy on N-TiO2/activated bentonite is higher than the decrease in band gap energy for N-TiO2. The optimum pH condition for the photocatalyst process in removing methylene blue occurs at pH 5. The maximum removal efficiency of methylene blue occurs when the ratio of N: Ti is 1:1 with an irradiation time under UV and visible lights of 120 minutes of 99.23% and 87.20%, respectively. This study showed that the composite catalyst N-TiO2/bentonite under UV and visible light irradiation conditions has higher removal efficiencies on lower dosages (2.5–10 times lower in dosage), higher initial methylene blue concentration (1.25–2.5 times higher in concentration), and shorter reaction (1.5–3 times shorter in irradiation time) than composite catalysts from previous studies’ results. Furthermore, the product can enhance the value of local natural bentonite and increase local people’s income and welfare.

Kegagalan sistem deteksi kecelakaan pada kamera CCTV dapat berpengaruh pada peningkatan angka kematian di jalan raya. Penggunaan metode CNN dalam pembangunan sistem deteksi kecelakaan CCTV sudah banyak dilakukan sebelumnya. Namun, masalah umum yang sering ditemui yaitu lensa yang kotor dan zoom varifocal yang tidak fokus secara otomatis membuat kualitas citra CCTV yang dihasilkan mengalami penurunan, sehingga berpengaruh kepada performa sistem. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pembangunan model untuk mendeteksi kecelakaan pada citra CCTV menggunakan pre-trained model MobileNetV2 yang dilakukan optimasi dengan melakukan upscaling pada dataset menggunakan model Real-ESRGAN untuk menghasilkan performa yang lebih optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan dataset citra CCTV yang berjumlah 989 dan terdiri dari 2 jenis kelas prediksi diantaranya accident dan non-accident. Hasil penelitian diperoleh model MobileNetV2 berhasil menghasilkan validation accuracy 97%, testing accuracy 94% dan average inference time 3.33 detik pada skenario uji GT. Selama proses uji, didapatkan bahwa model kurang optimal jika mengidentifikasi data baru dengan kondisi objek yang berkerumunan. Selain itu, berdasarkan skenario uji X2,X4,X8 didapatkan bahwa kualitas citra yang dihitung berdasarkan nilai PSNR dan SSIM sangat berpengaruh pada performa klasifikasi seperti Akurasi, precision, recall, dan AUC score.

Teachers play an essential role in managing the class. Actions that need to be taken by the teacher in creating classroom conditions are communication and interpersonal relationships between students and teachers reciprocally and effectively, arranging classroom equipment and children's seats, and planning or preparing for teaching. This research aims to find out and describe planning in-class management, organizing in-class management, implementing in-class management, and supervising PAUD class management at RA Al-Islamiyah Bandarsakti. The research method used is descriptive analysis, namely data analysis, by emphasizing meaning, reasoning, the definition of certain situations, and describing the behavior of the studied object. Data collection tools used are observation, interviews, and documentation. As for concluding using inductive thinking data, namely thoughts that depart from facts or special events, then conclusions are drawn that have a general nature from these particular facts. The results showed that: class management at RA Al-Islamiyah Bandarsakti. First, classroom management planning has been prepared since the beginning of the learning year, such as making daily lesson plans, weekly lesson plans, semester programs, and making class rules of conduct; Second, in organizing classes, the teacher uses resources according to needs, such as organizing or grouping seats for students and selecting one of the students to dare to lead activities; Third, in the implementation of class management, it is still not optimal in leading, directing, motivating, guiding, being a role model for students in the class both in speech, attitude and way of dressing, as well as the arrangement of infrastructure which is still not optimal; Fourth, in supervising class management the teacher always evaluates learning outcomes every day and then makes comparisons of previous learning outcomes.

Abstract Background The availability of population norms from generic health-related quality of life (HRQoL) instruments can support the interpretation of health outcomes. This study aimed to provide Indonesian youth population norms for the generic HRQoL measures: EQ-5D-Y-3 L, EQ-5D-Y-5 L, and the PedsQL Generic Core Scales. In addition the opportunity arising from the generation of a large representative sample was taken to explore the relationships between HRQoL, health, and socio-economic factors. Methods A representative sample of 1103 Indonesian children (aged 8–16 years) completed EQ-5D-Y-3 L, EQ-5D-Y-5 L, the PedsQL Generic Core Scales, and questions related to demographic data and self-reported health status. A stratified quota sampling design was used to represent Indonesian children in terms of residence, age, gender, and geographical area. Family expenses per capita per month were retrieved from parents to determine a child’s economic status. Results The total sample was representative of the Indonesian youth general population. The proportions of participants who reported problems were 43.35% (EQ-5D-Y-3 L), 44.10% (EQ-5D-Y-5 L), and 94.93% (PedsQL Generic), with 31.7% of children reporting health complaints. Older children (13–16 years) reported more problems than younger children (8–12 years). Children living in urban areas reported more problems than children living in rural areas. The lowest value health state reported was ‘12332’ (valued at 0.54), and the minimum EQ VAS score was 60.00. Moderate correlations were found between EQ-5D-Y-3 L values to EQ VAS scores and to PedsQL Total Score. Hierarchical regression analysis showed that females, older age, and having health complaints contributed to a lower level of HRQoL as measured by EQ-5D-Y-3 L values, EQ VAS, and PedsQL Total Score. Remarkably, children with high economic status had lower EQ VAS and PedsQL Total Scores. Among symptoms, ‘having stress’ had the largest influence with respect to lower EQ-5D-Y-3L values, EQ VAS, and PedsQL Total Score. Conclusions Population norms for children’s HRQoL as measured by EQ-5D-Y-3 L, EQ-5D-Y-5 L, and the PedsQL Generic Scales are now available for Indonesia. Age, gender, economic status, and health complaints were related to children’s HRQoL. These results provide a basis for health studies and health policy for the youth population of Indonesia.

This study aims to determine the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes through the application of the Students Team Achieviement Division (STAD) learning model with Problem Based Learning (PBL) based LKPD on set material in class VII A students of SMP Islam Al Azhar 18 Salatiga. This research is class action research conducted in two cycles through the steps of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques were tests, questionnaires, observation sheets, and documentation. The data were analyzed by comparing the achievement with the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) and marked by an increase in classical completeness in each cycle. The results showed that the application of the STAD learning model with PBL-based LKPD can improve the learning outcomes of set material. This increase in learning outcomes is based on data on student learning outcomes with an average class in cycle I of 73.54 with 10 students completed (41.66%) and 14 students not completed (58.33%), then increased in cycle II with an average class of 87.08 with 21 students completed (87.5%) and 3 students not completed (15.5%). The research stopped in cycle II because it had reached the success indicator, namely ≥85% of the total number of students in one class obtained a score that met the KKM, namely ≥80.

PT. Multidaya Unggul wants to achieve its goal of being able to create a worldwide market through a marketing strategy. With this aim, the marketing strategy used is word of mouth. In this study, the method used is qualitative descriptive analysis. The research was conducted by observing, in-depth interviews, and studying documentation at the company. From the data obtained through the research stages, then an analysis was carried out using elements from word of mouth, it is known that PT. Multidaya Unggul chooses its loyal customers to promote its products to potential customers, especially those in the middle to upper economic class. The existence of a word of mouth is due to the creation of a message or event that makes them talk about the product or service they have used.

This Community Partnership Program (PKM) answers the problems faced by partner, SDN 2 Inclusion in Bengkala Buleleng Village, Bali. The first problem is the lack of literacy that meets the needs of the Inclusive Elementary School. The second problem there is no online learning system. Moreover, the third, teachers do not have facilities of the literacy and learning system for the inclusive elementary school. The solutions offered to answer the three problems are, first, literacy that supports learning needs. Second, the provision of an integrated website-based learning information system and library-based teaching materials library service. Third, literacy for teachers about the application of learning systems and the manufacture of teaching materials that facilitate the teaching and learning process. The method of implementing this PKM is community participation by developing into a number of activities such as: participatory mentoring, workshops, simulations and substitution of science and technology, creation of learning information systems and library services for integrated web-based teaching materials as well as literacy and socialization processes. The evaluation of this activity uses the CIPP method, namely context, input, process, and product tailored to the needs of literacy and teaching and learning processes. The target of this program is the availability of online learning support facilities, increasing the ability of teaching teachers in online teaching and creating digital learning media, as well as the availability of a Learning System and Teaching Material Library Service.

The Indonesian government implemented a large-scale social restriction policy as part of the efforts to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic. This policy impacted the population, including mothers, and caused considerable psychological distress. Individual efforts to cope (avoidant and approach coping strategies) and support from significant persons might help handle the distress experienced by mothers. The purpose of this empirical study is to investigate the effect of individual coping strategies on psychological distress and the moderating role of social support among Indonesian mothers. An online survey was administered from 20th to 25th April 2020 to 1534 Indonesian mothers (Mean age 37.12 years; SD 6.63). Brief COPE (28 items), Depression Anxiety Stress Scale/DASS (18 items), and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support/MSPSS (12 items) were used to measure coping strategies, psychological distress, and social support, respectively. IBM SPSS 24 software was used to analyze the data. The result showed that moderate and high levels of social support moderated the relationship between approach coping strategies and psychological distress (B = .041, CI .007-.075). When the mother uses approach coping, her psychological distress will decrease further whenever she receives moderate and high level social support. Any level of social support moderated the relationship between avoidant coping and psychological distress (B = -.100, CI -.138-.061). When mother used avoidant coping, her social support at any level served as buffer to her psychological distress. It can be concluded that mothers need to prioritize implementing approach coping strategies to lower their distress. Those who practiced avoidant coping strategies needed social support from their significant persons to decrease their distress.

Background High infection rates of COVID-19 in Indonesia require attention, especially transmission and prevention behaviors. One way to lower infection rates is the use of face masks. However, people’s adherence to its usage when in public is still low. This necessitates the exploration of predictors of the use of masks to increase community compliance. This study further aims to investigate the predictors of face mask use by applying the Health Belief Model, anxiety, stress, depression, and health motivation. Methods A total of 255 respondents from Jakarta, Bandung, Tangerang, and Banten filled out an online questionnaire. Furthermore, hierarchical multiple regression was used to detect predictors associated with face mask use. Results The results showed that the high perceived benefits and health motivation were higher in individuals who used a face mask when in public, while those who have high perceived barriers likely do not use masks. The respondent’s level of psychological distress, including depression, anxiety, and stress were not associated with face mask use. Conclusions These findings highlight the importance of personal appraisal regarding COVID-19 and its prevention behaviors. Comfortable mask design, and emphasizing the benefits of using masks in the community improve compliance.

Water offers many advantages that are essential for the preservation of human existence. Excessive quantities of water, such as flooding, can negatively impact human beings. The land utilization within a watershed (drainage area) plays a crucial role in the frequency and impact of flooding events. Instances of land use changes that resulted in flooding happened in the Bang Sub-watershed, located in Malang Regency. A comprehensive and up-to-date examination of flood management solutions is required. This study seeks to offer technical suggestions for flood management in the Bang Sub-watershed due to land-use alterations, utilizing the HEC-RAS software. Integrated treatment solutions are provided to mitigate the potential damage caused by future flooding. The flood simulation yielded recommendations for mitigating the impact of future floods. These recommendations include the construction of a retarding basin in the upper part of the river with a capacity of 1.4 million m3, as well as the construction of a 654 m long river embankment that is 50 cm. The alteration of the land leads to a decrease in the cross-sectional capacity of the river at the mouth of the Bang River, resulting in annual flooding occurrences. A non-technical approach to enhance the quality of the watershed is implementing reforestation measures to decrease the runoff coefficient.

Road damage in the UB Forest Sumberwangi Area, Karangploso District, Malang Regency, is one of the harmful impacts of the drainage system. This study aims to analyze an accurate and efficient drainage system by applying modern methods, namely Building Information Modeling (BIM). By using BIM, the analysis of drainage work becomes faster and more accessible than with conventional methods. BIM is beneficial in building and analyzing drainage network data quickly and effectively and can help expand it to provide more accurate results. BIM can integrate models based on technical data and simulate development information into a three-dimensional model. BIM is used to perform 3D modeling of drainage channels using Autodesk Civil 3D, as well as analyzing channels from both hydrology and hydraulics with Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA). After calculating the design for a 5-year return period rainfall, channel dimensions of 50 x 50 cm and 30 x 30 cm were obtained. Based on the hydraulic analysis, it is known that several points have velocities that exceed the maximum velocity for the concrete surface (v < 3 m/s), so it is necessary to build a drop structure with h = 1 m. The quantity take off and the volume are calculated by Civil 3D for cut and fill work 7824.07 m3 and 1389.79 m3, respectively.

The construction of a check dam is proposed as a solution to address multiple environmental challenges in the upstream region of a river. Primarily, the focus is on erosion control, the deceleration of debris flow, and the prevention of sedimentation. The strategic implementation of this plan encompasses a range of methodologies, including topographical measurements, geotechnical testing, hydrological analysis, hydraulics analysis, and the meticulous development of a budget plan for the actual construction of the check dam. Within the study area, sedimentation issues stem from a debris flow characterized by a sediment discharge rate of 0.657 m3/s. This phenomenon coincides with a significant 25-year return period flood discharge of 9.134 m3/s. The proposed check dam emerges as a crucial intervention capable of effectively mitigating the situation for approximately 1 hour and 13 minutes, providing a targeted response to the persisting debris flow. To execute this plan, an estimated budget of IDR 460,859,000 has been projected. This financial allocation encompasses the expenses associated with topographical measurements, geotechnical testing, hydrological and hydraulics analyses, as well as the actual construction of the check dam. Overall, the proposed check dam stands as a multifaceted solution designed to harmonize environmental conservation with sustainable water resource management.
