ObjectiveTo investigate the value of suppressor of cytokine signaling 1 （SOCS1）， speckled protein 140 （SP140）， calcyclin binding protein （CacyBP） expressions in peritoneal dialysis effluent in the diagnosis of peritoneal fibrosis （PF）.MethodsA total of 90 patients with end-stage renal disease who underwent peritoneal dialysis in the First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North University from November 1， 2021 to September 30， 2023 were selected as study subjects. They were divided into PF group （n=38） and control group （non-PF， n=52） according to peritoneal tissue biopsy. The mRNA levels of exsome SOCS1， SP140 and CacyBP in peritoneal dialysis effluent were detected by quantitative reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction （qRT-PCR）. The ultrafiltration volume at 4 h， 4 h dialysate/plasma creatinine （4 h D/PCr）， and the ratio of glucose content in dialysate at 4 h and 0 h （D/D0） were detected by peritoneal balance test. The diagnostic value of SOCS1， SP140 and CacyBP expressions in PF was analyzed.ResultsThe mRNA levels of exosomes SOCS1 ［（0.84 ± 0.11） vs （1.00 ± 0.15）］， SP140 ［（0.82 ± 0.12） vs （1.00 ± 0.13）］ and CacyBP ［（0.85 ± 0.09） vs （1.00 ± 0.13）］ in peritoneal dialysis effluent of PF group were significantly lower than those of control group （P

With the advancement of technology, the field of deep hole processing faces dual challenges of increased precision and increased production. Although traditional honing and grinding processes dominate, they are inefficient and do not adapt to large-scale production. Rolling processing technology has become an alternative solution with its advantages of high precision and high efficiency. This study aims to apply rolling processing to deep hole processing to improve efficiency. An elastic-plastic model was constructed to clarify the relationship between stress, strain, and displacement, and it was transformed into a simulated flow plastic stress equation. A finite element model was established, and its accuracy was verified through experiments, revealing the effects of various parameters on stress and strain. In the experimental stage, the amount of interference, feed speed, and rotation speed were identified as the main influencing factors, and a multi-objective optimization model was established accordingly. Comparative analysis showed that the grinding accuracy was the highest (0.13 μm), while the multi-objective optimization combination and variance combination reached 0.22 and 0.31 μm, respectively. In terms of processing efficiency, rolling is ten times that of grinding. Rolling processing can replace some grinding processes under specific conditions, significantly improving efficiency, which is of great significance for the development of deep hole processing technology.

Food has long been considered very important in tourism activities and it has a positive effect on tourist satisfaction. Then local cuisine has become an important attraction for tourist destinations and one of the focuses of destination marketing. This study is based on the theory of perceived value, perceived risk theory, and the theory of planned behavior, aiming to understand tourists’ intentions to purchase local cuisine and its influencing factors, choosing Wuhan, China as the study case, and conducting an empirical survey on tourists visiting Wuhan in 2023. Data analysis was conducted using confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling to test the research hypotheses. The results show that the value of quality, price, emotion, cognition, culture and health can improve tourists’ satisfaction and enhance tourists’ purchase intention of Wuhan cuisine. However, social value and perceived risk have no significant effect on satisfaction and purchase intention, tourists’ satisfaction with Wuhan cuisine positively affects tourists’ attitude, and tourists’ satisfaction. Attitude, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control are also key factors to predict tourists’ purchase intention of Wuhan cuisine. The purchase intention model meets the fitting criteria: X²/Df = 1.533, RMSEA = 0.025, CFI = 0.977, IFI = 0.977. The results of this study provide a reference for the competent government departments and related enterprises to promote the development of food tourism in Wuhan.

The ecosystem of semi-arid watersheds is influenced by a combination of natural climate factors, rainfall, and habitat destruction, resulting in complex mechanisms of spatial differentiation and evolution of water ecological health. Indicator selection in mainstream water ecological health assessment methods, such as the Index of Biotic Integrity (IBI), often relies on subjective reference point choices. This approach tends to overlook the comprehensive impacts and interactions among various environmental stressors. For watersheds significantly influenced by natural climatic factors, considerable uncertainties arise, leading to a lack of scientific justification for establishing water ecological health protection goals. In this study, the nonlinear capabilities of the random forest (RF) model were applied to reduce subjectivity in traditional water ecological health assessments and to more accurately reveal the emerging spatial differentiation patterns and underlying causes of water ecological health in the Wei River Basin (WRB), the largest typical semi-arid watershed of the Yellow River in China. Our findings indicate: (1) Traditional evaluation indices indicate that the overall water ecological health of the WRB is classified as sub-healthy (60 %). The core indicators include dominant species, total algal density, and the percentage of diatom density, with no significant spatial differentiation observed. (2) An improved water ecological health assessment method for semi-arid watersheds, based on the RF model, has been developed to replace traditional subjective judgment steps. This method establishes a complex multi-input–output response relationship (R2>0.85) between environmental stress indicators and the biological integrity index for the WRB. (3) The model results identify key driving factors affecting changes in water ecological health in semi-arid watersheds, with the sensitivity of the new model increasing nearly 11-fold compared to traditional IBI methods. (4) Following improvements, the water ecological health characteristics of the WRB exhibit significant spatial heterogeneity, with a higher dispersion coefficient (1.21), and demonstrate enhanced nonlinear response trends to climatic factors. The application of machine learning models indicates that traditional methods may underestimate the extent of ecological health degradation in watersheds and tend to oversimplify spatial heterogeneity characteristics.

The energy and environmental crisis pose a great challenge to human development in the 21st century. The design and development of clean and renewable energy and the solution for environmental pollution have become a hotspot in the current research. Based on the preparation of transition metal phosphates, transition metals were used as raw materials, Prussian blue-like NiFe(CN)6 as a precursor, which was in situ grown on nickel foam (NF) substrate. After low temperature phosphating treatment, a bimetallic phosphide electrocatalyst (NiFe)2P/NF was prepared on NF substrate. Using 1 mol·L−1 KOH solution as a basic electrolyte, based on the electrochemical workstation of a three-electrode system, the electrochemical catalytic oxygen evolution performance of the material was tested and evaluated. Experiments show that (NiFe)2P/NF catalyst has excellent oxygen evolution performance. In an alkaline medium, the overpotential required to obtain the catalytic current density of 10 mA·cm−2 is only 220 mV, and the Tafel slope is 67 mV·dec−1. This is largely due to: (1) (NiFe)2p/NF nanocatalysts were well dispersed on NF substrates, which increased the number of active sites exposed; (2) the hollow heterostructure of bimetallic phosphates promotes the electron interaction between (NiFe)2P and NF, increased the rate of charge transfer, and the electrical conductivity of the material is improved; and (3) theoretical calculations show that (NiFe)2P/NF hollow heterostructure can effectively reduce the dissociation barrier of water, promote the dissociation of water; furthermore, the kinetic reaction rate of electrocatalytic oxygen evolution is accelerated. Meanwhile, the catalyst still has high activity and high stability in 30 wt% concentrated alkali solution. Therefore, the construction of (NiFe)2P/NF electrocatalysts enriches the application of non-noble metal nanomaterials in the field of oxygen production from electrolytic water.

Objective To investigate the effect of quality control circle (QCC) activities combined with KANO model on improvement of nursing satisfaction among hospitalized patients with gynecological diseases. Methods A QCC team was established to analyzed the current situation and factors influencing the nursing satisfaction among hospitalized patients with gynecological diseases. The PDCA procedure and KANO model were adopted in decision making and carrying out countermeasures. Results The nursing satisfaction rate among hospitalized patients with gynecological diseases was increased form 90. 11% to 96. 28% after implementation of QCC activities. Conclusion Continuous quality improvement by using QCC is effective to improve the nursing satisfaction among hospitalized patients with gynecological diseases. (目的 探讨品管圈活动联合卡诺模型提高妇科住院患者护理满意度的效果。方法 成立品管圈, 确定“提高妇科住院患者对护理工作满意率”为活动主题, 进行计划拟定、现况把握、原因分析, 运用 PDCA 程序、卡诺模型, 拟定对策并组织实施, 分析效果。结果 针对改善重点, 通过品管圈活动, 将妇科住院患者对护理工作满意率由90. 11%提高至96. 28%。结论 通过品管圈活动, 持续性改进, 有效提高妇科住院患者对护理工作满意度, 从对提升科室品牌形象、医院知名度及社会影响力产生积极意义。)

Association standardization of oil and gas pipeline network in China has been in progress for quite a period. However, it is urgent to further accelerate its standardized and high-quality development facing the new requirements, such as high-quality development of the industry, autonomy enhancement, extensive international oil and gas cooperation, etc. In attempt to assist achieving the goal, this research analyzed the data pertaining to association standards for oil and gas pipeline network published in China, focusing on its quantitative change, subject content, field distribution, and drafting units, and employed a complex network algorithm to illustrate the present state of association standardization efforts with a diagram. Based on the aforementioned work, this research found out that there are three main operational modes for association standards organizations, that is professional organizations in this field being totally committed, organizations in relevant field being largely involved and others participating occasionally. The analysis results demonstrate that many problems exist in current association standardization work of oil and gas pipeline network, such as lacking of energy and systematic planning, insufficient in the number of standards, especially of high-quality standards, and the implementation of supervision by industry authorities. The research, in dealing with these problems, promoted several countermeasures, including(1) to establish a correct recognition of the importance of association standardization;(2) to build a national organization to promote coordinated development;(3) leveraging the role of Pipe China to promote openness and integration;(4) to develop a multi-level working mechanism to improve the overall quality; and(5) to refine the responsibilities of the supervising authorities to facilitate high-quality development, etc.

BaTiO3 has advantages of high permittivity, low dielectric loss, low cost and environment friendly. However, due to the nonlinear dielectric behavior occurred around the phase transition temperature of BaTiO3 ceramic, its availability in the field of temperature-stable capacitor is limited. To modify the dielectric-temperature properties of BaTiO3, a series of BaTi1-xCexO3 (x=0-0.20) ceramics was synthesized by solid-state reaction method. Ce dopant was introduced into the B-site (Ti-site) of BaTiO3. The effects of Ce dopant on the phase evolution, defect state, microstructure and dielectric properties were investigated. The modifying mechanism was also discussed with the help of first-principles calculation method. In all ceramic samples, it is revealed that Ce element completely enters the B-site of BaTiO3 in the form of Ce4+ ion. With the increase of Ce doping concentration, the room temperature structure of BaTi1-xCexO3 ceramics transforms from tetragonal/pseudo-cubic structure into orthorhombic/tetragonal structure, then into pseudo-cubic structure. Owing to the radius difference between Ce4+ and Ti4+ ions, Ce doping will lead to the rising of lattice parameters, accompanied by the appearance of local distortion and the decrease of long-range ferroelectric order, the variation of band structure, density of states and charge density configuration, as well as the generation of Ba and Ti vacancies. Compared with pure BaTiO3 ceramic, the average grain size of Ce-doped ceramics decreases first and then increases with the increase of Ce content, while the relative density of ceramics increases gradually. The peak dielectric constant of BaTi1-xCexO3 ceramic increases first and then decreases as the Ce concentration increasing. The corresponding temperature is slowly reduced from 122 ℃ to 112 ℃ in the x value range of 0-0.08, then rapidly declines to -3 ℃ in the x value range of 0.08-0.20. BaTi1-xCexO3 ceramics with x≥0.06 have the dielectric behavior of diffused phase transition (DPT). And the x=0.20 ceramic exhibits the typical characteristic of relaxor ferroelectric, with the room temperature dielectric constant of 3258.38, and the |Δεr/εr25 ℃|≤22% temperature range of -60-87 ℃, which matches the requirement of EIA X5S standard. Therefore, it can be concluded that B-site Ce doping will effectively enhance the permittivity stability of BaTiO3 in a variable temperature environment. This will provide some new ideas to develop dielectric materials with stable dielectric properties in wide temperature range.

Objectives: To identify the dermatological system drugs that may be prescribed by Chinese dermatological nurses through expert consensus.

Potato pulp and wheat flour were used as raw materials to make steamed bread, and the optimum technological formula of potato pulp steamed bread was studied. Based on the results of single factor with specific volume and texture as indicators, response surface test was used to evaluate the quality of 30% potato pulp steamed bread by using specific volume as inspection index. The results showed that the optimal process parameters of potato pulp steamed bread were as follows: yeast addition 1.1%, fermentation time 70 min, sheeting time 12, fermentation temperature 35 ℃ and proofing time 19 min. The specific volume of steamed bread was 2.34 mL/g under the optimum condition, and optimized steamed bread was significantly improved when comparing with control group (2.02 mL/g).

Perfect absorption over the entire visible spectrum can create a dark background for acquiring images with high contrast and improved resolution, which is crucial for various applications such as medical imaging, biological detection, and industrial non-destructive testing. The broadband absorption is desired to be achieved in an ultrathin structure for low noise as well as high integration. Here, we experimentally demonstrate a metasurface broadband perfect absorber with an ultrathin thickness of 148 nm and a large area of ∼10 cm2. Such a metasurface, with more than 97% absorption in the wavelength range from 400 to 800 nm, is composed of chromium nanodisk hexagonal array deposited on a chromium substrate with a silica spacer. A self-assembly based colloidal lithography nanofabrication method is developed for the scalable fabrication of the proposed nanostructure. We attribute the broadband absorption to the spectrally overlapped Fabry–Perot resonance, surface plasmon polariton, and localized surface plasmon resonances. Our results offer a novel approach to wafer-scale and low-cost manufacturing of absorption-based devices for applications such as high-contrast imaging and optical modulation.

RUNX3 is a transcription factor and tumor suppressor that is silenced or inactivated in diverse tumors. The effect of RUNX3 on the epithelial–mesenchymal transition in clear-cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC) remains unclear. We determined the expression of RUNX3 and E-cadherin in tumor tissues and adjacent normal tissues of 30 CCRCC patients; established cultured CCRCC cells with the overexpression of RUNX3; and examined the in vivo tumorigenic function of RUNX3 in a nude mouse xenograft model of CCRCC. RUNX3 and E-cadherin were downregulated in human CCRCC samples. Cell lines with RUNX3 overexpression had reduced cell proliferation, invasion, and migration, a prolonged cell cycle, increased apoptosis, and increased expression of E-cadherin. In the nude mouse xenograft model of CCRCC, tumors with the overexpression of RUNX3 had smaller volumes and weights and had increased expression of E-cadherin. In conclusion, RUNX3 overexpression increased the level of E-cadherin and inhibited the proliferation, invasion, and migration of CCRCC in vitro and in vivo. RUNX3 has potential use as a biomarker for prognostic monitoring of CCRCC and as a therapeutic target for the treatment of this cancer.

BackgroundCerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) is a rare but serious complication of nephrotic syndrome (NS) in children. To investigate the clinical characteristics of CVST in children with NS in order to timely diagnose this complication and reduce poor outcome.MethodsCollect and analyze clinical data and magnetic resonance venography (MRV) results of children with NS complicated with CVST.ResultsData of 6 patients with NS complicated with CVST were collected. 4 of the patients were steroid-sensitive nephrotic syndrome (SSNS) and 2 were steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome (SRNS). The occurrence of CVST was observed within a time frame ranging from 12 days to 3 years following the diagnosis of NS. One patient had two episodes of thrombosis in three years, while the other five patients had only one episode of thrombosis. All patients had proteinuria at the time of episode of thrombosis. All patients presented with headache, and three of them had strabismus, seizures, and transient blindness, respectively. Neurological examination was negative. All patients were diagnosed with CVST by MRV within 3–16 days of the onset of headache. Two patients had TRPC6 gene mutation. All patients had resolution of neurological symptoms after anticoagulation treatment.ConclusionCVST may occur in the early stages of NS. There is currently a lack of specific diagnostic indicators to reliably identify the presence of CVST in patients with NS. Children with NS who have neurological symptoms should be promptly evaluated with imaging studies. Whether TRPC6 gene mutation is also a risk factor for CVST remains to be further studied.

[Objective] The influence of different connection methods on Benggang susceptibility was studied in order to provide a theoretical basis for the refined spatial prediction of regional Benggang in order to provide scientific supports for reasonable, economical, and efficient disaster prevention and reduction. [Methods] A random forest (RF) model was used to select two different connection methods: the improved frequency ratio (ALSA) and the traditional frequency ratio (FR). Annual average rainfall, annual average rainfall erosivity, soil erodibility, slope length factor, clay content, slope, sand content, and standardized VH channel backscatter coefficient (representing the nature of the surface cover) were used as evaluation indexes of Benggang susceptibility in Yongfeng Township, Xingguo County of Jiangxi Province. [Results] ① The accuracy of the ALSA-RF model was greater than the accuracy of the FR-RF model, and the values of ACC and AUC were 83.89% and 0.893 0, respectively; ② The extremely high and high susceptibility areas in Yongfeng Township were mainly located in the southwest, and this result was in good agreement with the actual situation. [Conclusion] The improved frequency ratio connection method better reflected the distribution law of regional Benggang susceptibility than the traditional frequency ratio method, and provided a reference for similar problems in the field of landslide evaluation.

17-4 PH stainless steel alloy has been widely used in the field of defence industry such as weapon equipment, aerospace, nuclear energy, and so on because of its high strength, high toughness, high temperature resistance, and corrosion resistance. In order to meet the flexible manufacturing requirements of multi-variety small batch complex structure products with lower cost and higher efficiency, selective laser-melted 17-4PH stainless steel alloy has become the focus of research in the field of rapid alloy manufacturing in recent years. In this article, the density characteristics and the distribution characteristics of holes and spheroidization phenomena of 17-4 PH pre-alloyed powder subjected to multidimensional temperature conduction under selective laser melting are studied, and the mechanism of defect generation under temperature conduction is proposed. Finally, the optimal selection of the combination of different process parameters was carried out by orthogonal test, and it was found that the comprehensive mechanical behaviour of the 17-4 PH stainless steel alloy after being formed exceeded the ASTM A564 standard (the yield strength is 1,132 MPa, the tensile strength is 1,323 MPa, and the elongation is 16.6%).

Abstract Background The aim of this study was to investigate the prognostic value of arginase-1 (Arg-1) and glypican-3 (GPC-3) in patients with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC). Methods Two hundred and thirty-seven patients with ICC were included in this study. All patients had undergone radical surgery and had complete clinical information. Immunohistochemistry was used to assess the levels of Arg-1 and GPC-3 in ICC tissues. Univariate and multivariate analyses were conducted to identify independent risk factors in ICC. The relationship between Arg-1 and GPC-3 levels and patient survival was determined using the Kaplan-Meier method. Results High Arg-1 and GPC-3 expression levels were associated with poor prognosis in patients with ICC, and they could be as new prognostic biomarkers in ICC. Conclusion Arg-1 and GPC-3 can serve as independent prognostic biomarkers in ICC.

The purpose of this paper is to introduce the class of split regular BiHom-Poisson color algebras, which can be considered as the natural extension of split regular BiHom-Poisson algebras and of split regular Poisson color algebras. Using the property of connections of roots for this kind of algebras, we prove that such a split regular BiHom-Poisson color algebra LL is of the form L=⊕[α]∈Λ/∼I[α]L={\oplus }_{\left[\alpha ]\in \Lambda \text{/} \sim }{I}_{\left[\alpha ]} with I[α]{I}_{\left[\alpha ]} a well described (graded) ideal of LL, satisfying [I[α],I[β]]+I[α]I[β]=0\left[{I}_{\left[\alpha ]},{I}_{\left[\beta ]}]+{I}_{\left[\alpha ]}{I}_{\left[\beta ]}=0 if [α]≠[β]\left[\alpha ]\ne \left[\beta ]. In particular, a necessary and sufficient condition for the simplicity of this algebra is determined, and it is shown that LL is the direct sum of the family of its simple (graded) ideals.

【Objective】Cultivation of sweet corn has increased over the past decades in some areas of China, but its demand for water and the associated irrigation strategies are poorly documented. The objective of this paper is to plug this knowledge gap. 【Method】A two-year field experiment designed based on the principle of achieving high yield was conducted. During the experiment we measured the change in soil moisture and meteorological factors, and used them to calculate water requirement, water consumption and crop coefficient (kc) of the crops. These help us to optimize the irrigation strategy for sweet corn production. 【Result】The water requirement, daily water consumption during the growth season of the sweet corn in 2016 and 2017 were 197.7 and 212.9 mm, 3.0 mm/d and 3.1 mm/d respectively. The daily water consumption varied with growth stage, being highest in the tasseling stage and least in the seedling stage. The average crop coefficient in 2016 and 2017 was 0.63 and 0.67, respectively, and the optimal calculation showed that changing irrigations times to four could reduce irrigation water by 31.84% to 33.97% compared to the currently used irrigation strategy. 【Conclusion】Water requirement of the sweet maize was low and its water consumption was similar to normal corn. Appropriate irrigation is essential to safeguarding its production.

To explore the calculation method of effective utilization coefficient of farmland irrigation water in the mountainous area of Yunnan Plateau,we scientifically evaluated the efficiency of farmland irrigation water.Taking Yongshan County of Zhaotong City,Yunnan Province as the research area,we selected 2 sample irrigation districts and15 typical fields to calculated and analyze the effective utilization coefficient of farmland irrigation water.The net irrigation water of sample irrigation districts was calculated after measurement and investigation.Head-end measurement was used to calculate and analyze the effective utilization coefficient of farmland irrigation water in the sample irrigation districts,and then the coefficient of Yongshan County from 2018 to 2020 was calculated.The results show the followings.① The net irrigation water in the sample irrigation districts of Yongshan County exhibited a downward trend from 2018 to 2020 overall.The net irrigation water for Zanthoxylum bungeanum,Amomum villosum,Citrus reticulata,flue-cured tobacco and Solanum tuberosum in Yongshan County decreased successively.② The effective utilization coefficient of farmland irrigation water was larger in the medium-sized irrigation district than in the small irrigation district.③ The effective utilization coefficient of farmland irrigation water in Yongshan County was increased gradually from 2018 to 2020,i.e.,0.489 2,0.502 0 and 0.508 5,respectively.The research results are reasonable and reliable,which can reflect the actual situation in the irrigation districts.

Currently, freshwater scarcity is becoming an increasingly pressing issue worldwide. Solar desalination technology is recognized as a promising solution to this problem. However, the existing seawater desalination evaporators suffer from slow evaporation rates and limited salt tolerance. To address this, we developed a lignocellulosic hydrogel sponge (LHS) using a straightforward salting-out method. This hydrogel sponge achieves a high evaporation efficiency of 2.57 kg·m−2·h−1 and exhibits excellent salt, acid, and alkali resistance. Therefore, LHS presents a new approach for solar-driven water purification, which holds significant implications for solving freshwater scarcity.

With 20% sweet potato puree and wheat flour as raw materials, the effects of knead times,fermentation time and fermentation temperature on the quality of sweet potato puree steamed bread were studied.On the basis of single factor test, sensory evaluation was selected as the evaluation index, and response surface analysis was used to optimize the processing technology of sweet potato puree steamed bread.The results showed that the optimum technological formula of sweet potato puree steamed bread was as follows： 14 times of kneading, 18 min of fermentation and 33 ℃ of fermentation temperature.With special sweet potato flavor, the quality of sweet potato puree steamed bread is better under this condition.

Patch comparison provides support for software vulnerability, and structural comparison has been developed. Based on summarizing binary files comparison and anti-comparison methods, comparison technology was proposed by semantic analysis on function to address the issue that structural comparison cannot carry on semantic analysis. Through traditional structural comparison, syntax differences in function-level were analyzed to find the maximum common subgraph. Then, the path cluster was built between the input and output of the function depend on program dependency analysis. Function output characteristics was established based on symbolic execution. Semantic differences of functions were compared by functional summaries. Based on the maximum isomorphic subgraph, the matched functions which there are possible semantic changes between was further analyzed. Ultimately, the experimental results showed the feasibility and advantages of the proposed method.

In order to begin an approach to the structure of arbitrary Lie color triple systems, (with no restrictions neither on the dimension nor on the base field), we introduce the class of split Lie color triple systems as the natural generalization of split Lie triple systems. By developing techniques of connections of roots for this kind of triple systems, we show that any of such Lie color triple systems T with a symmetric root system is of the form T = U + ∑[α]∈Λ1/∼ I[α] with U a subspace of T0 and any I[α] a well described (graded) ideal of T, satisfying {I[α], T, I[β]} = 0 if [α] ≠ [β]. Under certain conditions, in the case of T being of maximal length, the simplicity of the triple system is characterized.

Mercury is easily volatile and vaporizes in air. The monitor of mercury in gas phase provides insight for developing advanced Hg control technologies. However, the analytical method of gas mercury is rudimentary. In order to determine the gas mercury content, a reliable calibration method is needed. This study provides a method of calibrating gas mercury from pyrolysis of coal with Hg2+ as a precursor. The method is based on the principle that Hg2+ in aqueous solution can be quantitatively reduced by reductant into elemental mercury vapor to determine the calibration of mercury content in gas phase. Compared with the conventional calibration method based on the saturated vapor principle, this method eliminates the influence of the sampling temperature, the quantity of mercury during sampling can be easily controlled, and pollution of the gaseous mercury stored in the laboratory is avoided. To illustrate the accuracy of the calibration method, the quantity of elemental mercury emission during pyrolysis of four coals were determined. Results show that the method has good reproducibility and adaptability. Compared with the Canadian Ontario-Hydro method, the relative standard deviations of both methods are less than 3.0%, indicating a high reliability of this calibration method.

Sm2O3 partly doped La2Ce2O7 ceramic materials for thermal barrier coatings were prepared by high temperature solid-state reaction using La2O3, CeO2 and Sm2O3 as raw materials. Their chemical formula is (SmxLa1-x)2Ce2O7. The phase composition of the samples was studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The doping ratio, firing temperature and firing time were investigated by an XRD pattern contrast analysis of the samples made in different conditions. It is found that the sample with fluorite structure has been prepared, and it can maintain its phase structure when the doping molar ratio Sm:La is 1:2 or 1:3. As the doping molar ratio Sm:La is 1:2 at the firing temperature of 1550℃ for 10 h, the prepared (Sm0.33La0.67)2Ce2O7 has a good phase stability at 1600℃. This material can be potentially used as a new material for ceramic thermal barrier coatings.

Taking PJR-2X concrete spraying robot as example, the paper introduced a design method of human-machine interactive 3D simulation platform based on MFC of VC++ and OpenGL. The method uses Solidworks software to build model of the robot, storages 3D model as .STL file which is introduced into 3DSMax to establish texture coordinates, and output 3DS file is introduced into Deep Exploration to make secondary processing of material and texture of 3D model. Finally, the file is introduced into working scene which is built by OpenGL to make scene rending through MFC, so as to get lively 3D virtual simulation platform of the robot. The actual application showed that the simulation platform can express characteristics of observe and inverse motion of the robot accurately and can make demonstration.

Abstract Background Aimed to facilitate candidate biomarkers selection and improve network-based multi-target therapy, we perform comparative proteomics research on muscle-invasive bladder transitional cell carcinoma. Laser capture microdissection was used to harvest purified muscle-invasive bladder cancer cells and normal urothelial cells from 4 paired samples. Two-dimensional liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry was used to identify the proteome expression profile. The differential proteins were further analyzed using bioinformatics tools and compared with the published literature. Results A total of 885/890 proteins commonly appeared in 4 paired samples. 295/337 of the 488/493 proteins that specific expressed in tumor/normal cells own gene ontology (GO) cellular component annotation. Compared with the entire list of the international protein index (IPI), there are 42/45 GO terms exhibited as enriched and 9/5 exhibited as depleted, respectively. Several pathways exhibit significantly changes between cancer and normal cells, mainly including spliceosome, endocytosis, oxidative phosphorylation, etc. Finally, descriptive statistics show that the PI Distribution of candidate biomarkers have certain regularity. Conclusions The present study identified the proteome expression profile of muscle-invasive bladder cancer cells and normal urothelial cells, providing information for subcellular pattern research of cancer and offer candidate proteins for biomarker panel and network-based multi-target therapy.

Abstract The geological reserves of ordinary heavy oil suitable for thermal injection development in Bohai Oilfield are about 450 million tons. The traditional thermal recovery process uses a two trip injection-production string development method, which frequently starts and stops operations, resulting in additional cold damage and high costs. The efficiency of the jet pump injection-production integrated string system is also low, and production control is difficult. Therefore, based on the results of an integrated field test of electric submersible pump injection and production, this article optimizes its key technologies, removes high-temperature downhole on-off valves, re develops high-temperature deep well exhaust valves, and optimizes the structure of the packer as the installation platform for deep well exhaust valves. Indoor and field tests were conducted, and the results showed that the improved integrated technology of electric submersible pump injection and production met the requirements of 250 ℃ - room temperature and 21 MPa dynamic sealing. It can achieve multiple rounds of non repair injection and production conversion under steam throughput development mode, while reducing platform space requirements and injection heat loss, improving system efficiency and economy. The integrated optimization technology of electric submersible pump injection and production has good stability and applicability, and can be further promoted and applied.

Abstract Critical-sized bone defects are usually accompanied by bacterial infection leading to inflammation and bone nonunion. However, existing biodegradable materials lack long-term therapeutical effect because of their gradual degradation. Here, a degradable material with continuous ROS modulation is proposed, defined as a sonozyme due to its functions as a sonosensitizer and a nanoenzyme. Before degradation, the sonozyme can exert an effective sonodynamic antimicrobial effect through the dual active sites of MnN4 and Cu2O8. Furthermore, it can promote anti-inflammation by superoxide dismutase- and catalase-like activities. Following degradation, quercetin-metal chelation exhibits a sustaining antioxidant effect through ligand-metal charge transfer, while the released ions and quercetin also have great self-antimicrobial, osteogenic, and angiogenic effects. A rat model of infected cranial defects demonstrates the sonozyme can rapidly eliminate bacteria and promote bone regeneration. This work presents a promising approach to engineer biodegradable materials with long-time effects for infectious bone defects.

Abstract Intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD) is a common cause of low back pain. Procyanidin C1 (PCC1) has been demonstrated to exert a protective effect on nucleus pulposus (NP) cells, and therefore, plays a critical role in the prevention and therapy of IVDD. Clarifying the pathophysiological characteristics and molecular mechanisms of IVDD may be helpful in establishing novel preventive and therapeutic strategies. This study aimed to investigate the probable mechanisms underlying the protection against acidic pH stress induced human NP cell injury. In vitro, acidic pH stress induced degeneration, mitochondrial dynamics imbalance, mitophagy, and mitochondria-mediated apoptosis in NP cells, all of which were ameliorated by PCC1. Autophagy inhibition partially eliminated the protective effects of PCC1 on mitochondrial homeostasis in NP cells. Moreover, PCC1 activated the sirtuin 3 (SIRT3)/forkhead box O3 (FOXO3) signaling pathway, a pivotal signaling pathway involved in the regulation of mitochondrial homeostasis in NP cells. In vivo, PCC1 ameliorated IVDD in a rat model and preserved the extracellular matrix of NP cells. Consequently, the protective effects of PCC1 on NP cells may inhibit IVDD progression via regulation of the SIRT3/FOXO3 signaling pathway. Therefore, regulation of the SIRT3/FOXO3 signaling pathway may be a novel preventive and therapeutic strategy for IVDD.

[Objective] To elucidate the differences in soil nutrient status and carbon sequestration capabilities among various vegetation types. [Methods] This study focused on six representative vegetation types in the southern mountainous areas of Ningxia: pure tree plantations (Prunus sibirica L. and Robinia pseudoacacia L.), mixed tree plantations (Robinia pseudoacacia L.+ Prunus sibirica L.), mixed tree and shrub plantations (Prunus davidiana (Carrière) Franch.+ Caragana korshinskii Kom.), shrub plantations (Hippophae rhamnoides L.), and grasslands. Through a combination of field surveys and laboratory analyses, we investigated the ecological stoichiometry and carbon storage of the 0—100 cm soil layer across these vegetation types. [Results] C, N, and P contents varied between 19.74～35.11 g/kg, 1.74～3.19 g/kg, and 1.60～1.69 g/kg, respectively, with both C and N contents decreasing with increasing soil depth. Furthermore, the C and N contents in the Robinia pseudoacacia L.+ Prunus sibirica L. were significantly higher than those in other types up to a depth of 80 cm, while P content showed no significant differences among types or soil layers. Soil C∶N ratio were significantly lower in Robinia pseudoacacia L.+ Prunus sibirica L. within the 0—40 cm layer, with no significant differences observed among vegetation types from 40—100 cm. Soil C∶P and N∶P ratios were significantly influenced by vegetation type, showing the highest values in the mixed forest of Robinia pseudoacacia L. and Prunus sibirica L.; Soil C∶N of these vegetation types showed no significant differences among layers. Soil C∶P and N∶P ratios were decreased with soil depth. Soil carbon storage 0—100 cm varied between 5.98～38.21 t/hm2 and had significant differences among these types, with all of them showed the order: Robinia pseudoacacia L.+ Prunus sibirica L.> Robinia pseudoacacia L.> Prunus sibirica L. > Hippophae rhamnoides L. > Prunus davidiana (Carrière) Franch.+ Caragana korshinskii Kom. > grassland. In addition, the mixed plantation of Robinia pseudoacacia L. and Prunus sibirica L. had significantly higher carbon storage than other vegetation types. [Conclusion] Tree and shrub lands in the southern Ningxia mountainous region have superior nutrient cycling patterns and carbon sequestration capabilities compared to grasslands, with the mixed planting model of Robinia pseudoacacia L. and Prunus sibirica L. being the most effective. Therefore, creating mixed plantations is an important approach to enhance soil carbon sequestration capacity.

Objective Multi‐segmental total en bloc spondylectomy (TES) gradually became more commonly used by clinicians. However, the choice of surgical strategy is unclear. This study aims to investigate the biomechanical performance of different prosthesis types and fixation ranges in multisegmental TES. Methods In this study, a validated finite element model of T12–L2 post‐spondylectomy operations were carried out. The prostheses of these models used either 3D‐printed artificial vertebrae or titanium mesh cages. The fixed range was two or three segment levels. Range of motion, stress distribution of the endplate and internal fixation system, intervertebral disc pressure, and facet joint surface force of four postoperative models and intact model in flexion and extension, as well as lateral bending and rotation were analyzed and compared. Results The type of prosthesis used in the anterior column reconstruction mainly affected the stress of the adjacent endplate and the prosthesis itself. The posterior fixation range had a greater influence on the overall range of motion (ROM), the ROM of the adjacent segment, the stress of the screw‐rod system, and adjacent facet joint surface force. For the model of the same prosthesis, the increase of fixed length resulted in an obvious reduction of ROM. The maximal decrease was 70.23% during extension, and the minimal decrease was 30.19% during rotation. Conclusion In three‐segment TES, the surgical strategy of using 3D‐printed artificial prosthesis for anterior column support and pedicle screws for posterior fixation at both two upper and lower levels respectively can reduce the stress on internal fixation system, endplates, and adjacent intervertebral discs, resulting in a reduced risk of internal fixation failure, and ASD development.

Objective: To investigate the antioxidant effect of peptides from Argopecten irradians and its protective effect and mechanism against ethanol-induced alcoholic liver injury in mice. Methods: A. irradians peptides were prepared by two-step enzymatic hydrolysis followed by membrane separation. The in vitro antioxidant activity of A. irradians peptides, the activating effects on superoxide dismutase (SOD) and alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) and the potential to promote alcohol metabolism were evaluated. The protective effect and mechanism against alcoholic liver injury in mice were investigated by measuring the activities of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) in the serum, and the activities of ADH, acetaldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), catalase (CAT) and SOD and malondialdehyde (MDA) content in the liver of a mouse model of acute alcoholism. Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) was used to analyze the peptide sequences. PeptideRanker and AnOxPePred 1.0 tools were used to predict the potential biological activity of peptides and conduct molecular docking analysis of the peptide with the strongest antioxidant activity to ALDH. Results: Peptides with molecular mass between 200 and 1 000 Da constituted approximately 70.38% of the total peptides. Antioxidant amino acids accounted for 68.75% of the total amino acids. In vitro experiments showed that the half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) values of A. irradians peptides were 19.43, 4.53 and 2.19 mg/mL in 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and hydroxyl radical scavenging and Fe2+ chelating assays, respectively. At 5 mg/mL, the hydrolysate of A. irradians activated SOD and ADH by 19.83% and 18.18%, respectively, demonstrating good antioxidant activity and anti-alcoholic potential. In vivo experimental results showed that A. irradians peptides significantly reduced the levels of ALT and AST in mouse serum, enhanced the activity of ADH, ALDH, GSH-Px, SOD and CAT, and reduced the content of MDA. Using PeptideRanker and AnOxPePred 1.0 tools, 44 identified peptides were screened, and 6 of them met the criteria for molecular docking screening. Molecular docking revealed that they had strong binding capacity to ALDH. Among them, DQPHFPF and YSTHPHF formed 7 and 3 hydrogen bonds with ALDH, respectively, which could be activated through molecular interactions with ALDH. Conclusion：This study provides a theoretical reference for the application of peptides products from A. irradians for curing alcohol and protecting liver.

Abstract Pile foundation structures are widely used in the construction of high-piled wharves in coastal soft soil areas due to their excellent adaptability to such environments. However, the extensive, deep backfilling involved in constructing these wharves can easily induce negative skin friction (NSF) on the piles, resulting in safety issues such as excessive settlement during the service life of the structures. This paper presents an indoor model experiment to examine the distribution of the THE NSF under varying pile-top loads and surcharge effects on single pile and double-sleeve pile foundations. The potential of double-sleeve pile foundations to mitigate the NSF was also explored. The results show that the axial force within the double-sleeve pile’s protected section remains essentially stable, though it is affected by the surface surcharge in the unprotected section. Time effect is exhibited both for the axial force and the NSF, gradually increasing over time. Compared to single piles, double-casing pile foundations can effectively isolate the down drag load caused by surrounding soil settlement, thereby reducing or eliminating the NSF on the pile sides.

The wind profile radar data observed from the western mountainous and eastern plain areas of Chengdu from 1 Jan to 31 Dec 2022 are used to analyse the regional differences in the vertical structure and daily variation trend of the boundary layer wind field. The results indicate that: (1) There are regional differences in the prevailing wind direction of the lower boundary layer in Chengdu, with north-north-east winds prevailing in the western mountains area and northeast winds prevailing in the eastern plains, and without seasonal difference. While there is no regional difference in the prevailing wind direction between the east and west regions in the middle and upper boundary layer, both occur alternately with northeast and southwest winds that are consistent with the direction of the western mountain range. (2) The variation trend of the average wind speed profile in the boundary layer between the eastern and western areas of Chengdu is consistent, and the horizontal wind speed in the eastern plain area of the same detection height layer is greater than that in the western mountains area. (3) The local mountain-valley breeze is significant in the lower boundary layer of the western mountains area; the valley breeze with southeast winds prevails during the day; and the mountain breeze with northwest winds prevails at night. (4) There are no regional differences in the diurnal variation characteristics of horizontal wind speed at the same detection height layer, and it is a “single peak and single valley” type, with a peak during the day and a valley at night. (5) The differences in the wind field characteristics of the lower boundary layer between the east and west regions of Chengdu are mainly caused by the local complex terrain of the western mountains area.

Over the past three decades, China has grown into a powerhouse for powder metallurgy (PM) parts production. Supported by a thriving and diversified domestic market for PM parts, the domestically-owned PM companies are now competing with international market leaders. China’s PM industry, however, faces the same challenges as the rest of the world’s producers ― the transition to vehicle electrification. China is a huge market and the PM applications in China are diverse. The rapid development of new energy vehicles is a challenge, but it will also bring new development opportunities. The development and current situation of the PM parts industry were analyzed by Prof. Cao and Dr. Qiu in this paper, the trends in China’s automotive industry and the impact on the PM industry were discussed, the coping strategies with the transformation of the automobile industry were proposed, and the future development of the powder metallurgy industry was prospected.

Network assisted with reconfigurable intelligent surface is a kind of low-cost and low-power solution which can provide stable, continuous and ubiquitous connection to satisfy deep coverage requirements in 5G-Advanced (5G-A) and 6G era. A kind of reconfigurable intelligent surface assisted high and low frequency collaborative network architecture based on the positioning analysis of reconfigurable intelligent surface technology was proposed. The proportion of base station and reconfigurable intelligent surface collaborative deployment was analyzed. Furthermore, a interference reduction based on bandwidth design scheme was proposed to reduce adjacent frequency interference. System level performance simulation of network assisted with reconfigurable intelligent surface was verified to analyze the impact of reconfigurable intelligent surface deployment location and number of array elements under different UE distribution conditions. The simulation results show that the RIS-assisted network can significantly improve the edge and weak coverage area, so as to improve the network performance of the whole communication system.

Abstract Excessive exercise is an etiological factor of intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD). Engineered extracellular vesicles (EVs) exhibit excellent therapeutic potential for disease-modifying treatments. Herein, we fabricate an exercise self-powered triboelectric-responsive microneedle (MN) assay with the sustainable release of optogenetically engineered EVs for IVDD repair. Mechanically, exercise promotes cytosolic DNA sensing-mediated inflammatory activation in senescent nucleus pulposus (NP) cells (the master cell population for IVD homeostasis maintenance), which accelerates IVDD. TREX1 serves as a crucial nuclease, and disassembly of TRAM1-TREX1 complex disrupts the subcellular localization of TREX1, triggering TREX1-dependent genomic DNA damage during NP cell senescence. Optogenetically engineered EVs deliver TRAM1 protein into senescent NP cells, which effectively reconstructs the elimination function of TREX1. Triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) harvests mechanical energy and triggers the controllable release of engineered EVs. Notably, an optogenetically engineered EV-based targeting treatment strategy is used for the treatment of IVDD, showing promising clinical potential for the treatment of degeneration-associated disorders.

AC submarine cable is an important component in AC transmission system of offshore wind farms. However, the issue of charging current limits its application in offshore wind power with long-distance and large-capacity. Taking HYJQF41-F290/500 kV single-core AC submarine cable as an example, the overvoltage distribution along the cable in different working conditions is analyzed, considering the long-distance and high-voltage transmission. The simulation model of the cable is established and its parameters are corrected firstly. According to the different compensation degrees of the shunt reactor, the capacity of the shunt reactor under the configuration scheme of single-end compensation and two-end compensation calculated out. Finally, based on the single-phase grounding fault, the closing and opening conditions in the high-voltage and long-distance wind farm models, and the distribution law of overvoltage along the submarine cable under different reactive power compensation schemes is tested by simulation. The results show that the maximum overvoltage of submarine cables appears in different positions with different compensation schemes. Based on this, the selection methods for high-voltage submarine cable and overvoltage in insulation level design of substation equipment are given out under different compensation schemes, which have certain guiding significance for engineering practice.

Abstract Intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD) is characterized by the senescence and declining vitality of nucleus pulposus cells (NPCs), often driven by mitochondrial dysfunction. This study elucidates that mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) play a crucial role in attenuating NPC senescence by secreting mitochondria-containing microvesicles (mitoMVs). Moreover, it demonstrates that static magnetic fields (SMF) enhance the secretion of mitoMVs by MSCs. By distinguishing mitoMV generation from exosomes, this study shifts focus to understanding the molecular mechanisms of SMF intervention, emphasizing cargo transport and plasma membrane budding processes, with RNA sequencing indicating the potential involvement of the microtubule-based transport protein Kif5b. The study further confirms the interaction between Rab22a and Kif5b, revealing Rab22a’s role in sorting mitoMVs into microvesicles (MVs) and potentially mediating subsequent plasma membrane budding. Subsequent construction of a gelatin methacrylate (GelMA) hydrogel delivery system further addresses the challenges of in vivo application and verifies the substantial potential of mitoMVs in delaying IVDD. This research not only sheds light on the molecular intricacies of SMF-enhanced mitoMV secretion but also provides innovative perspectives for future IVDD therapeutic strategies.

Abstract The complexity of repairing large segment defects and eradicating residual tumor cell puts the osteosarcoma clinical management challenging. Current biomaterial design often overlooks the crucial role of precisely regulating innervation in bone regeneration. Here, we develop a Germanium Selenium (GeSe) co-doped polylactic acid (PLA) nanofiber membrane-coated tricalcium phosphate bioceramic scaffold (TCP-PLA/GeSe) that mimics the bone-periosteum structure. This biomimetic scaffold offers a dual functionality, combining piezoelectric and photothermal conversion capabilities while remaining biodegradable. When subjected to ultrasound irradiation, the US-electric stimulation of TCP-PLA/GeSe enables spatiotemporal control of neurogenic differentiation. This feature supports early innervation during bone formation, promoting early neurogenic differentiation of Schwann cells (SCs) by increasing intracellular Ca2+ and subsequently activating the PI3K-Akt and Ras signaling pathways. The biomimetic scaffold also demonstrates exceptional osteogenic differentiation potential under ultrasound irradiation. In rabbit model of large segment bone defects, the TCP-PLA/GeSe demonstrates promoted osteogenesis and nerve fibre ingrowth. The combined attributes of high photothermal conversion capacity and the sustained release of anti-tumor selenium from the TCP-PLA/GeSe enable the synergistic eradication of osteosarcoma both in vitro and in vivo. This strategy provides new insights on designing advanced biomaterials of repairing large segment bone defect and osteosarcoma.

Objective To reasonably evaluate the energy absorption reliability index of anti-climber devices, a reliability analysis method based on ISSSM (improved sinusoidal and surrogate model) is proposed. Method Firstly, a finite element model for anti-climber device collision is established. Secondly, the rationality of the finite element simulation model is verified based on the collision test data of the anti-climber device. Then, based on the principles of sum of sine function construction, the basic form of the force-displacement function for the anti-climber device collision process is clarified. According to the energy absorption consistency criterion, the anti-climber device energy absorption ISSSM is constructed. Combining reliability theory, a reliability analysis model for anti-climber device energy absorption is established. Finally, a specific model of anti-climber device is studied, and its energy absorption reliability index is evaluated. Result & Conclusion The constructed energy absorption ISSSM can reasonably reproduce the mechanical characteristics of the anti-climber device collision energy absorption process. When the coefficient of variation increases from 0.05 to 0.1, the energy absorption reliability index decreases from 3.07 to 1.53.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the determination uncertainty of four quinolones residues in honey by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry （LC-MS/MS）. Methods: Based on GB 31657.2—2021, a mathematical model for sources of uncertainty evaluation was established. The uncertainty of each variable which affect the result were calculated and the weight of each uncertainty component was assessed. Results: The uncertainties in the determination of enrofloxacin, sarafloxacin, ofloxacin and ciprofloxacin in honey were （4.97±0.81）, （10.13±1.58）, （7.67±1.23）, （14.97±2.25） μg/kg （P=95%，k=2） respectively. Conclusion: The main influencing factors of the determination uncertainty were preparation and dilution process of standard solution and fitting of standard curve, which should be controlled in practical work.

Abstract Background Most bone defects caused by bone disease or trauma are accompanied by infection, and there is a high risk of infection spread and defect expansion. Traditional clinical treatment plans often fail due to issues like antibiotic resistance and non-union of bones. Therefore, the treatment of infected bone defects requires a strategy that simultaneously achieves high antibacterial efficiency and promotes bone regeneration. Results In this study, an ultrasound responsive vanadium tetrasulfide-loaded MXene (VSM) Schottky junction is constructed for rapid methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) clearance and bone regeneration. Due to the peroxidase (POD)-like activity of VS4 and the abundant Schottky junctions, VSM has high electron–hole separation efficiency and a decreased band gap, exhibiting a strong chemodynamic and sonodynamic antibacterial efficiency of 94.03%. Under the stimulation of medical dose ultrasound, the steady release of vanadium element promotes the osteogenic differentiation of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (hBMSCs). The in vivo application of VSM in infected tibial plateau bone defects of rats also has a great therapeutic effect, eliminating MRSA infection, then inhibiting inflammation and improving bone regeneration. Conclusion The present work successfully develops an ultrasound responsive VS4-based versatile sonosensitizer for robust effective antibacterial and osteogenic therapy of infected bone defects.

Gas cannon is a new type of equipment used for rainfall enhancement operating which comprehensively utilizes the influence of shock waves, sound waves, and catalysts to interfere with and catalyze local weather. At present, the use of gas cannons to conduct artificial weather operations in China is still in the experimental stage. Based on multi-source observations from dual-polarization weather radar, rain gauges and other equipment, the rainfall enhancement effect and the possible physical mechanism are comprehensively analyzed for 81 gas cannon operation cases in Anhui Province from 2021 to 2023. Observations of typical cases show that the effect of rainfall enhancement is better when the gas cannon is operated prior to the onset of rainfall, accompanied by an increase in the horizontal reflectivity factor ZH and the differential reflectivity ZDR, and the decrease in the co-polarization correlation coefficient ρhv. However, the effectiveness is poor when the operation is after the start of rainfall. It is observed that the cloud undergoes significant changes primarily in the sub-zero layer following the use of warm cloud catalyst, and the cloud changes rapidly but effects are short-lived. On the other hand, when a cold cloud catalyst is used, the cloud undergoes obvious changes in both the warm cloud region and the cold cloud region with a greater effecting range and longer duration of effects. This may be attributed to the impact of the cold cloud catalyst on the ice phase microphysical processes within the cloud. The increase in radar velocity spectrum width (SW) during the operation of a gas cannon may be caused by the increase in air vortex. Statistical results of hourly rainfall enhancement show that the number of cases of significant rainfall enhancement from the gas cannon is slightly higher than that of significant rainfall reduction. Among the three different types of operation timing, the rainfall enhancement effect is best for Type 2 (rainfall operation at the beginning). The significance of rainfall enhancement is negatively correlated with the duration of the operation, while the duration of the operation is negatively correlated with the increment of ZDR. Excessive sowing can lead to a reduction in rainfall. The significance of rainfall enhancement is negatively correlated with the amount of rainfall in the affected area prior to the operation. After the beginning of rainfall, the operational effectiveness of the gas cannon is poor. The rainfall enhancement is positively correlated with ZH, as well as with middle and low-level wind speed and wind shear. However, the enhancement of rainfall is negatively correlated with high-level wind speed. The high wind speed in the middle and high levels is not conducive to enhancing the rainfall through gas cannon operation. These results provide physical evidence for the effect of a gas cannon on cloud microphysical structure and rainfall.
