Nasopharyngeal cancer (NPC) cases are often diagnosed in advanced stages. The complexity of clinical management for advanced-stage NPC requires thorough communication and shared decisions between medical professionals and allied teams. Incorporating a multidisciplinary team meeting (MDTM) for newly diagnosed NPC patients was chosen to facilitate collaboration and communication between physicians. Ionic liquid cations (ILCs) have been utilized in hybrid organic-inorganic perovskites (HOIPs) to enhance their photoluminescence performance. However, the high number of possible cations and anions needed to form ILCs makes the experimental measurement time and cost consuming. Computational methods that could assist the selection of ILCs for this task-specific application are highly desirable. Therefore, in this work, the photophysical properties of various ILCs, including linear aliphatic, five-membered, and six-membered cyclic aliphatic, and aromatic ILCs, were investigated using density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT). Fluorescence and phosphorescence were analyzed using excited state dynamics (ESD) modules on ORCA at the B3LYP/def2TZVP level theory. All the investigated cations show fluorescence spectra either the UV or visible range. The cations with long-chain branches show fluorescence spectra in the visible range. Five membered rings show the phosphorescence spectra in the visible range, while the six-membered rings show the phosphorescence spectra in the near-infrared range.

While the development of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) has been ongoing for more than 30 years, the currently obtained efficiency is unsatisfactory. However, the study of DSSC development has produced a fundamental understanding of cell performance and inspired other devices, such as perovskite cell solar cells. DSSCs consist of a dye-sensitized photoanode, a counter electrode, and a redox couple in the electrolyte system. Each of the components has an important role and cofunctions with each other to obtain a high power conversion efficiency. Various modifications to each DSSC component have been applied to improve their performance. Additionally, to generate improvements, the effort to reduce production costs has been crucial. The utilization of natural sources for DSSC components is a possible solution to this issue. The utilization of natural resources also aims to increase the value of the natural resource itself. In this review, the applications of various natural sources for DSSC components are described, as well as the modification efforts that have been made to enhance their performance. The discussion covers the utilization of natural dye for sensitizer dyes in liquid DSSC applications: (1) utilization of biopolymers for quasi-solid DSSC electrolytes, (2) green synthesis methods for photoanode semiconductors, and (3) development of natural carbon counter electrodes. The detailed factors that influence improvements in cell performance are also addressed.

Background: Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are illnesses that spread from person to person through sexual activity. In Indonesia, STI cases increased between 2016 and 2017. One of the high cases reported in North Sumatra with 1,183 STIs cases which ranked seventh in Indonesia and second on Sumatera Island. Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the risk factors related to women with STIs symptoms in North Sumatra. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted using the 2017 Indonesian Demographic Health Survey data which included a total sample of 2,440 women aged 15-49 years domicile in North Sumatera. Then, using IBM SPSS 25 to perform a multivariate analysis utilizing logistic regression. Results: This study showed that women with a genital ulcer were associated with living in rural areas (OR: 2.68, 95% CI: 1.67-4.31), poor economic status (OR: 1.47, 95% CI: 0.94-2.29), and the spouse having other sex partners (OR: 0.54, 95% CI: 0.31-0.94). Moreover, women who lived in rural areas (OR: 1.74, 95% CI: 1.38-2.20), had poor economic status (OR: 1.33, 95% CI: 1.05-1.68), and their spouse has STIs (OR: 0.51, 95% CI: 0.39-0.66) were associated with vaginal discharge. Conclusion: Findings indicated that STIs symptoms were higher among women who lived in rural areas with poor economic status and had negative attitudes toward negotiating safe sex with partners. It is advised that intervention programs focus more on conducting mass STIs testing and safe sex campaign in rural areas.

BackgroundThe Monkeypox Virus (MPOX) has caused a surge in viral infections, leading to the WHO recognizing it as a public health emergency of international concern. MPOX infection shares clinical similarities with smallpox but can cause complications like myocarditis, anorectal pain, ocular lesions, kidney damage, or soft tissue superinfection. The study aims to understand the characteristics of myocarditis, fixed drug eruption, and dry eye syndrome in Monkeypox patients.MethodsThis review was conducted based on PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses), and the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions. The data was obtained from Scopus and international journal databases by conducting combined keyword searches restricted to English-language publications.ResultThe study examined 25 cases of Monkeypox, primarily involving males aged 32.9 years and experiencing chest pain. The prognosis was generally good, with no reported death. Risk factors for infection include sexual activity, STD diagnosis, sexual encounters, and workplace exposure to orthopoxviruses. Most cases were male and involved chest pain. Myocarditis, an inflammation in the myocardium, can cause dilated cardiomyopathy, acute arrhythmia, and heart failure. The pathophysiology of myocarditis in Monkeypox patients is not yet determined due to rarity of cases.ConclusionMPOX infection presents unique complications like myocarditis, necessitating research for vaccines, antiviral drugs, and infection prevention measures. Early screening for chest pain and investigating MPXV infection's pathogenesis and clinical features are crucial for differential diagnosis during outbreaks. This systematic review can determine MPOX infection outcomes and prepare appropriate treatment for patients with complications.

The enthusiasm of the younger generation for presidential and vice-presidential elections has a significant impact on the political dynamics of a country. This study aims to explore the factors that influence the level of enthusiasm of the younger generation in the process of electing the head of state. The research method used is descriptive analysis using primary and secondary data. The findings show that factors such as political education, social media, participation in political activities, and the aspirations of the younger generation play an important role in shaping their level of enthusiasm for the presidential and vice-presidential elections. The results of this analysis provide valuable insights for policymakers, political stakeholders and educational institutions to design more effective strategies to strengthen young people’s engagement in the democratic process, as well as to sustain their political participation in the future.

In recent years, green synthesized nanomaterials have garnered wide interest due to its inherent features like rapidity, cost-effectiveness, and environmentally friendly technique. The green synthesis of Zinc oxide nanostructures (n-ZnO) using two kinds of plant extract, lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and meniran (Phyllanthus niruri), were discussed and their antibacterial activities were compared. Characterization by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and field emission-scanning electron microscopy/energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (FE-SEM/EDS) were used to confirm the successful formation of n-ZnO using both plant extracts. The antibacterial activity of the n-ZnO synthesized from two different plant extracts was tested against Klebsiella pneumoniae and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). The results show that both n-ZnO has antibacterial activity against MRSA. Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) values for n-ZnO synthesized from meniran extract were 78 and 156 mg/mL, respectively, while MIC and MBC values for n-ZnO synthesized from lavender extract were 156 and 312 mg/mL, respectively. These results confirm that the n-ZnO prepared from meniran extract is more effective in inhibiting MRSA than the n-ZnO prepared from lavender extract. This study proves that plant-based n-ZnO has anti-microbial activities and may serve as antimicrobial therapeutics.

Augmented Reality (AR) has seen extensive utilization in the modern era, driven by rapid technological advancements. The aim of the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method is to meticulously analyze and assess previous research on a specific phenomenon in a systematic and explicit manner. The search was conducted on the Scopus database using the keyword "Augmented Reality," resulting in 209 relevant articles. Out of this total, 35 articles passed the journal selection criteria and were deemed ready for analysis. The article selection process was carried out using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) model for inclusion and exclusion purposes. Since 2019, there has been a rising trend in research on augmented reality. The issue of AR can be approached through quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, and even development research (R&D). The most prominent author in AR research is NF Saidin. The data shows that the keyword "augmented reality" is strongly associated with "education" and "biology." These keywords are linked to concepts such as teacher training, augmented reality tools, teaching, biology learning, learning performance, e-learning, and virtual reality. Themes related to AR in education focus on teacher training in biology, which applies e-learning or mobile learning based on AR and virtual reality (VR). Articles were published by authors from 28 different countries, with authors predominantly from Asia. There are 15 institutions worldwide that fund AR research and publications. It can be concluded that the focus on AR in biology education will continue to grow, supported by the ongoing emphasis on technology in the modern era. This trend is reflected in the distribution year, research types/methods, instruments, areas of study, authors, keywords, authors’ nationalities, and collaboration patterns.

The pressing environmental concerns and the depletion of fossil fuel reserves necessitate a transition toward sustainable energy sources. Ethanol, a renewable biomass-derived fuel, is a promising alternative due to its availability and high energy density. This study investigates the synthesis of gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) via a square-wave pulse deposition technique, aiming to enhance catalytic activity for ethanol electrooxidation. By varying pulse durations, we were able to exert precise control over Au NP size and distribution without stabilizing agents. Characterization using field emission scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction techniques confirmed the formation of clustered nanoparticles of metallic gold phase. Electrochemical characteristics analyses revealed that Au NPs synthesized with a 900 ms pulse duration exhibited the lowest charge transfer resistance and the highest electrochemically active surface area. The electrocatalytic performance test of these Au NPs demonstrated an anodic current density of 2.5 mA cm−2 and a Tafel slope of 78 mV dec−1, indicating superior catalytic performance and reaction kinetics. Additionally, the Au NPs showed high resistance to poisoning, as evidenced by a low jb/jf ratio of 0.28 and stable chronoamperometric response. These findings underscore the potential of this synthesis method for producing high-performance electrocatalysts utilized in exploiting ethanol's potential as an environmentally friendly energy carrier.

Deep learning is growing and widely used in various fields of life. One of which is the recognition of pain through facial expressions for patients with communication difficulties. Viola-Jones is a simple algorithm that has real-time detection capabilities with relatively high accuracy and low computational power requirements. The learning rate is a significant number that has an impact on the deep learning result. This study recognized pain using the Viola-Jones and deep learning methods. The dataset used was a thermal image from the Multimodal Intensity Pain (MIntPAIN) database. The steps taken consisted of segmentation, training, and testing. Segmentation was conducted using the Viola-Jones method to get the significant area of the face image. The training process was carried out using four deep learning benchmarks model, which were DenseNet201, MobileNetV2, ResNet101, and EfficientNetb0. Besides that, deep learning has a very important number to determine that is learning rate, which impact the deep learning results. There were five learning rates, which were 10-1, 10-2, 10-3, 10-4, and 10-5. Learning rate values were then compared with four deep models learning to obtain high accuracy results in a short time and simple algorithm. Finally, the testing process was carried out on test data using a deep learning benchmark model in accordance with the training process. The research results showed that a learning rate of 10-2 from the MobileNetV2 method produced an optimal performance with a training validation accuracy of 99.60% within a time of 312 min and 28 s.

ABSTRACT Management as managing the company's business often feels burdened with pressures to meet short-term performance targets, such as revenue or profit growth, and the fulfillment of other performance indicators. These pressures ultimately force management to carry out earnings management in the financial reporting process. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of information asymmetry on profit management practices in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study is all Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, while samples that meet the criteria for sampling observations carried out for three years, namely from 2017-2019 and as many as 22 Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data collection techniques in this study used documentation techniques. While the data analysis technique used is a simple linear regression analysis consisting of hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination. The results of this study show that the independent variable, namely information asymmetry, has a significant effect on profit management in Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This means that the better the information asymmetry in food and berevage companies, the better the profit management practices of 22 food and berevage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Tekanan-tekanan tersebut pada akhirnya memaksa manajemen untuk melakukan manajemen laba dalam proses pelaporan keuangannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh asimetri informasi terhadap praktik manajemen laba pada perusahaan Food and Beverage yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan Food and Beverage yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia, sedangkan sampel yang memenuhi kriteria dalam pengambilan sampel pengamatan yang dilakukan selama tiga tahun yaitu dari tahun 2017-2019 dan sebanyak 22 perusahaan Food and Beverage yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana yang terdiri dari uji hipotesis dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen yaitu asimetri informasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap manajemen laba pada perusahaan Food and Beverage yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Hal ini berarti semakin baik asimetri informasi pada perusahaan makanan dan minuman, maka akan semakin baik pula praktik manajemen laba pada 22 perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. This study is prompted by the insufficient mathematical reasoning skills among junior high school students in Pekanbaru. This information is gathered from reports by teachers indicating that students face challenges in adequately solving mathematical reasoning problems. The primary objective of this research is to assess the impact of augmented reality learning media on the mathematical reasoning abilities of students. The study employs an experimental approach with a quasi-experimental design involving random sampling, with randomization conducted at the class level. The research encompasses 60 seventh-grade students from one of the junior high schools in Pekanbaru during the academic year 2022/2023, with a focus on the geometry of flat shapes, particularly triangles and quadrilaterals. The assessment instrument utilized is a mathematical reasoning ability test constructed based on various indicators as per expert recommendations. Data analysis encompasses normality tests, homogeneity tests, and parametric tests. The results of the data analysis reveal a significance value of 0.00, signifying that the enhancement in students' mathematical reasoning abilities is more pronounced when utilizing augmented reality learning media compared to conventional learning methods. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa SMP di Pekanbaru, hal ini diperoleh dari keterangan guru yang mengajar di sekolah bahwa anak-anak masih belum cukup mampu dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal penalaran matematis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran augmented reality terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain kuasi-eksperimen yang menggunakan sampel acak, namun pengacakan yang dilakukan adalah acak kelas. Subyek penelitian sebanyak 60 siswa kelas VII di salah satu SMP Pekanbaru tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 pada materi geometri bangun datar, khususnya segitiga dan segiempat. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan penalaran matematis yang mengacu pada beberapa indikator menurut para ahli. Pengolahan data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji parametrik. Berdasarkan pengolahan data diperoleh signifikansi sebesar 0,00 yang mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang menggunakan media pembelajaran dengan augmented reality lebih baik daripada siswa yang belajar secara konvensional.

This study aims to determine the compatibility of the summative assessment item of the Merdeka Curriculum used at SMP N 4 Cilacap. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method based on Bloom's Taxonomy operational verb tables. There are 47 questions for the midterm assessment and 50 questions for the semester assessment. So, there are 97 English summative assessment items given by the teacher and used to measure students' level of understanding. The summative assessment items studied consisted of the 2022/2023 academic year midterm and semester assessments. The results of this research are that questions in the LOTS category have a higher percentage than the HOTS category. In midterm assessment items, questions in the LOTS category reached 78%. Meanwhile, in semester assessment items, the number of items that have the LOTS category is 66%. So, based on this research, items categorized as LOTS dominate the Summative Assessment items at SMP N 4 Cilacap. So, this research shows that the summative assessment items at SMP N 4 Cilacap are incompatible with the Merdeka Curriculum. Based on these results, it is hoped that the preparation of assessment items in the following year will be further improved so that students can think more critically by the level of thinking in the Merdeka Curriculum.

The development of digital twins as a new technology aligns with the main strategic objectives of some of the world's top manufacturing countries. Several studies on digital twin cities have been performed, including the interaction of the Internet of Things (IoT) with smart cities, smart city traffic disaster risk management, and smart road inspection. The purpose of the research is to offer a survey of digital twin cities that includes road damage inspection as support for smart roads. The deployment of IoT technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to construct road defect detection systems on edge devices. This is the most recent breakthrough and an open challenge to creating a road defect detection system using edge AI on digital twins. As a result, edge AI devices are required to perform automatic and real-time road inspections. However, edge AI devices for detecting road damage have limited computing and storage capacities. Much of the physical system modeling has been completed in the construction of digital twin cities for road damage detection. In order to deploy CNN models on devices, some require physical system development. The stages involved in the development and implementation of a CNN model for an edge AI device road damage detection system are hardware selection, software development, developing the road damage detection application, edge device optimization, security and connectivity, testing and validation, and deployment. To improve system performance and reduce inference time, the CNN model must be optimized before being deployed on edge devices as edge AI.

The research aims to develop e-LKPD based on STEM on renewable energy material that can facilitate students in enhancing critical thinking skills. This e-LKPD was developed by using the Research and Development (R & D) method with the ADDIE development model which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The feasibility of STEM-based e-LKPD is measured through validation involving 3 lecturers and 3 physics subject teachers. The enhancement of students' critical thinking skills was measured through data collection involving 35 grade X students. Students' response to the developed e-LKPD was measured by using a student response questionnaire. Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that: 1) e-LKPD based on STEM is feasible to use when reviewed based on aspects of material/content, design, and language. 2) The enhancement of students' critical thinking skills obtained an N-Gain of 0.68 which means that learning using e-LKPD based on STEM can enhance students' critical thinking skills with a medium category. 3) STEM-based e-LKPDs received positive responses from students and received scores with good qualifications.

Malaria, caused by Plasmodium parasites and transmitted through Anopheles mosquitoes, remains a formidable global health challenge. This abstract provides an overview of the intricate molecular mechanisms underlying malaria pathogenesis, explores current therapeutic approaches, and highlights emerging insights that may shape future strategies for malaria control. The intricate dance between Plasmodium parasites and their human hosts begins with the mosquito’s bite, leading to the invasion of erythrocytes by Plasmodium species. We delve into the molecular mechanisms governing parasite entry and subsequent replication within host cells, shedding light on key factors such as erythrocyte surface receptors and parasite-encoded proteins critical to invasion and survival. While malaria treatment has relied heavily on antimalarial drugs, the emergence of drug resistance necessitates ongoing exploration of novel therapeutic strategies. This abstract reviews current antimalarial drug classes, their mechanisms of action, and the challenges posed by drug resistance. We also highlight promising drug candidates and innovative approaches in the pipeline, including the use of advanced molecular techniques and immunotherapies. Emerging insights from genomics, proteomics, and transcriptomics have deepened our understanding of Plasmodium biology and host-parasite interactions. We discuss the potential of these omics approaches in identifying new drug targets, understanding drug resistance mechanisms, and developing vaccines. Additionally, we examine the role of human genetics in influencing susceptibility to malaria and response to treatment. Vector control remains a critical component of malaria prevention. We touch upon emerging strategies, such as genetically modified mosquitoes and novel insecticides, in the context of integrated vector management programs. Finally, we emphasize the importance of a multifaceted approach to malaria control, combining advances in molecular biology, drug development, vector control, and public health interventions.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya kasus keselmatan diri anak dari kecelakaan dan bencana alam yang dimana anak menjadi korban kasus tersebut. Kebanyakan lembaga PAUD hanya mengenalkan kepada anak usia dini terkait hal-hal yang membahayakan mereka yang dapat mengancam keselamatan diri anak seperti keselamatan diri dari benda berbahaya, keselamatan diri dari orang asing dan keselamatan diri dari bencana alam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang media Smart Book terkait keselamatan diri anak usia dini untuk para guru dan orang tua dalam layanan PAUD, khususnya dalam memberikan pembelajaran terkait keselamatan diri kepada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penilitian Educational Design Research (EDR). Desain ini merupakan penelitian desain yang digunakan untuk bidang pendidikan yang juga dimasukkan ke dalam penelitian pengembangan ( research developmental ) materi dan bahan pembelajaran. Hasil dari perancangan media smart book berbasis program keselamatan diri ini menghasilkan smart book yang layak untuk dilakukan uji validitas, oleh ahli media digital dan ahli materi pendidikan seksual menggunakan angket validasi dan di uji keterpakaian. Subjek penelitian ini melibatkan 25 orang pendidik dan juga orang tua. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pengembangan Smart Book berbasis program keselamatan diri anak usia dini dapat dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran, penguatan dan pemahaman guru terkait keselamatan diri anak dalam layanan PAUD.

Background: Melasma is an acquired pigmentation condition characterized by its refractory nature and a high risk of recurrence. Treatment of melasma is challenging owing to its unclear etiology, stubborn resistance to treatment, and frequent relapses. Therefore, this study aimed to compare the efficacy, effectiveness, and safety of monotherapy and combination therapy (combination of laser and tranexamic acid (TXA)) for the treatment of melasma using a network meta-analysis. Method: The PRISMA guidelines were used in this meta-analysis, with a literature search conducted in reputable sources, such as Cochrane, Science Direct, PubMed, and Google Scholar. Results: From the initial search, 1 504 relevant studies were identified. After careful analysis, three studies were included in the meta-analysis. The results showed no significant differences in the Melasma Area and Severity Index (MASI) score between monotherapy (control group) and a combination therapy of laser and TXA. The mean difference in MASI score was 1.87 (95% confidence interval (CI), −0.78–4.52; P=0.17), indicating no significant difference between the two treatment approaches. Side effects were more common in the combination treatment group than in the control group. The odds ratio for experiencing side effects was 8.85 (95% CI, 1.57–50.01; P=0.01). Conclusion: Both the monotherapy and combination therapy groups showed therapeutic improvement; however, the combination therapy group showed a higher incidence of side effects.

To explore the interaction of weed diversity on the diversity of soil arthropods, specifically in four stations based on distinct ecosystems, namely teak (Tectona grandis L.f.) based agroforestry, complex agroforestry, cajeput (Melaleuca cajuputi (L.) Powell.) based agroforestry, and teak monoculture. Methodology. Data was collected from February to June 2022 in Geyer District, Grobogan Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia, using the point interception method for weed vegetation and the pitfall trap method for soil arthropods. Results. The results showed that the dominant species observed in the agroforestry and monoculture ecosystems differ. Cynodon dactylon L.Pers. is the most dominant weed in all three agroforestry ecosystems, while Imperata cylindrica Beauv is the most dominant in teak monoculture. Oecophylla smaragdina F., an ant species locally known as rangrang, was the most dominant insect at all four stations. The Poaceae family was shown to be the most prevalent weed species on all stations. However, the agroforestry system displayed a greater variety of arthropods. Implications. The results of this study indicate that in agroforestry systems, the diversity, distribution, and density of soil-based arthropods are intimately related to the specific weed species that have evolved mutually beneficial interactions. Conclusion. This phenomenon demonstrates the intricate interplay between different species and the interspecies affinity within the community.

This study aimed to determine the dynamics of resilience in adolescents who experience broken homes through a theological perspective. This research used a qualitative phenomenological method, and data collection was carried out using structured interviews. Data was obtained from subjects with the criterion of being teenagers who experienced broken homes. They were aged between 16 and 19 years. Data analysis was done by organizing and coding data, determining themes, searching for categories, describing categories, and discussing research results. The results showed that the subjects had different resilience. The most vital resilience arises from understanding good religious (theological) teachings. The forms of resilience found in this research include emotional conditions, emotional regulation, impulse control, self-efficacy, and social support. The resilience that is formed is caused by several factors. Judging from the subjects' statements, their resilience is formed by internal and external factors such as their inner will to rise from the adversity they have experienced and the support of those closest to them. Apart from that, the subjects experienced different impacts of broken homes, such as reduced parental love, reduced finances, changes in conditions at home, changes in the subject's personality, changes in interest in communicating with parents, and even the desire to commit suicide. From a theological perspective, Muslim teenagers from broken homes are more devious than teenagers from ordinary families because of the absence of theological values in their lives, so religious counseling for Muslim teenagers must be grounded on religious values. Religious counseling can be filled with activities such as instilling monotheistic values, theological or religious values, reading the Koran regularly, listening to lectures on Islamic themes, and reading motivational and Islamic books.

This study aims to determine the effect and impact of the overall research on the Problem-based learning model in science learning. This type of research is a meta-analysis. The data sources in this study are 17 national and international journals published from 2017-2022. The process of searching for data sources through Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Wiley, ProQuest, and Eric Journal. Inclusion criteria are research on problem-based learning models with experimental or quasi-experimental methods and measurement of learning outcomes to evaluate Problem-Based Learning learning models. The results showed that the average effect size value of all studies (ES = 1.40) was very high. This finding explains that the Problem-Based Learning model provides a very high positive impact on science learning. In addition, the Problem-Based Learning learning model is effective to be applied to students' science learning at school. Effect measurement in this study is influenced by the level of education, year of publication, learning outcomes, and sample size. Overall, the Problem-Based Learning model is very useful in increasing students' potential in facing the 21st century.

Sebuah strategi memberikan kesadaran akan arah yang diambil perusahaan, mempertahankan kesinambungan, dan membantu mempromosikan proses pendelegasian dan kepemimpinan yang efektif. Tujuan studi ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi pengembangan usaha menggunakan analisis swot pada UMKM IIN Collection di Cikarang Pusat. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Hasil studi menyampaikan bahwa strategi pengembangan usaha yang dapat diterapkan dalam UMKM IIN Collection yaitu dalam hasil skor perhitungan IFAS menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan (Strength) lebih besar daripada kelemahan (Weakness) dan EFAS menunjukkan bahwa peluang (Opportunity) lebih besar daripada ancaman (Threat). Artinya UMKM IIN Collection berada di kuadran I dalam diagram SWOT dengan skor 0,47-0,54 yang berarti memiliki kekuatan dan peluang (SO). Situasi ini memungkinkan UMKM IIN Collection untuk menerapkan strategi agresif dengan memanfaatkan peluang. Strategi agresif ini lebih fokus terhadap staretgi SO (Strenght- Opportunities), yaitu dengan menggunakan kekuatan untuk memanfaatkan peluang yang ada.

Penggunaan pupuk organik mampu menjadi solusi dalam mengurangi aplikasi pupuk anorganik dikarenakan mampu memperbaiki sifat fisik, kimia, dan biologi tanah, sehingga bisa meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas hasil panen tanaman. Salah satu pupuk organik yang bisa memperbaiki unsur hara tanah dan bisa meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas panen adalah limbah air cucian beras. Limbah ini berguna bagi tanaman, mudah diperoleh petani dan ramah lingkungan, memiliki harga yang murah sehingga dapat terjangkau oleh petani. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah 1. untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat dalam pembuatan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) berasal dari limbah air cucian beras, 2. mengurangi penggunaan pupuk kimia yang dialihkan ke pupuk organik untuk menjaga kualitas tanah dan lingkungan. Kegiatan ini telah dilakukan pada bulan Juli sampai dengan bulan September 2022 di Kantor Wali Jorong Sigiran Nagari Tanjung Sani Kecamatan Tanjung Raya Kabupaten Agam. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan adalah: metode penyuluhan, dan peragaan pembuatan pupuk organik cair (POC). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa mitra sangat tertarik dan antusias mengikuti pelaksanaan kegiatan dalam menerima ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi pupuk yang diberikan. Selanjutnya motivasi masyarakat kelompok ibu-ibu PKK mitra untuk melakukan usaha budidaya atau pemeliharaan tanaman lokal secara intensif sangat besar. Bahkan tingginya keinginan masyarakat/mitra untuk menguasai teknologi pembuatan pupuk organik cair (POC) yang diberikan. Dari kegiatan ini adapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ini dapat menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam memproduksi pupuk organik alternatif sehingga kegiatan budidaya tanaman dapat berjalan dengan baik di Nagari Tanjung Sani Kecamatan Tanjung Raya Kabupaten Agam, Sumatera Barat.

This service activity aims to increase teacher competence and creativity regarding digital classroom management innovations using Moodle-based LMS. This community service was conducted through training, guidance, and evaluation activities with methods in the form of presentations, demonstrations, practices, and discussions. This service partner was SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire which was analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results of this service showed that creating a digital learning media platform in the form of a Moodle-based LMS and the average user response through the distribution of questionnaires led that training activities being considered very good and helpful for increasing teacher competence and creativity.

The website is one of the media used by some educational institutions to convey information. One of them is the Department of Informatics at the Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII). One of the basic things that need to be considered when developing a academic website is the user experience (UX) a user has when engaging with a website. User experience measures the comfort level of a user when interacting with a product. User experience needs to be evaluated regularly so that the website can continue to meet the expectations of its users. However, there has been no research related to evaluating or testing user experience on the UII Informatics Department website. This study aims to assess the level of experience of UII Informatics Department website visitors. This study employed quantitative research methods, specifically the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. Using the mean calculation, the UII Informatics Department website received positive assessments on the dimensions of perspicuity, efficiency, attractiveness, dependability, and stimulation, but received negative evaluations on the novelty dimension. According to the benchmark analysis, the aspects of perspicuity and efficiency are above-average. While the dimensions of novelty, stimulation, dependability, and attractiveness are below-average. The results of this study can be used as a reference for developing a website for the Department of Informatics with a version that is more in line with user needs.

Hypercholesterolemia is a health disorder in which cholesterol in the blood increases beyond normal limits. This disorder chronically can cause atherosclerosis. Sargassum aquifolium contains bioactive compounds that can prevent increased blood cholesterol levels. This study aimed to prove the increasing cholesterol levels and changes in the blood vessel profile of rats fed an atherogenic diet by S. aquifolium extract. S. aquifolium was obtained from Ekas Bay, Province of West Nusa Tenggara. Male Rattus norvegicus 2-3 months ages used in this study. Normal rats were fed an atherogenic diet for four months to produce a hypercholesterolemia animal model. The phytochemical profile was screened based on the Harborne method. Identity of bioactive compounds determined by HPLC-HRMS. The parameters observed were cholesterol levels and blood vessel profiles. The juice of S. aquifolium contained steroids, saponins and tannins, and their bioactive showed anticholesterolemic. Rats given an atherogenic diet had increased cholesterol levels. Administration of S. aquifolium juice twice daily can reduce cholesterol levels and prevent the aorta's and arteries' thickening. In conclusion, S. aquifolium juice contains bioactive compounds and administration of S. aquifolium juice twice a day prevents an increase in cholesterol and damage to the aortic and arterial profiles.

In 2019, the COVID-19 epidemic swept throughout the globe. The virus was first identified in Wuhan, China. By the time several months had gone by, this virus had spread to numerous locations throughout the world. Consequently, this virus has become a worldwide pandemic. Multiple efforts have been made to limit the transmission of this virus. A possible course of action is to lock down the territory. Unfortunately, this strategy wrecked the economy, worsening the terrible situation. The world health organization (WHO) would breathe a sigh of relief if there were to be no new cases. However, the government should explore employing data from the future in addition to the data it already has. Prediction of time series may be utilized for this purpose. This study indicated that the Gaussian processes method outperformed the least median squared linear regression method (LMSLR). Applying a Pearson VII-based global kernel produces MAE and RMSE values of 23.12 and 53.43, respectively.

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are chronic conditions that cannot be transmitted from one person to another. These conditions do not usually cause symptoms at first, but over time they can progress and damage the affected organ, leading to complications or even death. A lack of public knowledge about NCDs is a major contributor to complications and deaths from these diseases. To address this issue, a series of activities have been organized as part of the Movement for the Control of Non-Communicable Diseases. These activities focus on understanding the definitions, risk factors, prevention methods, and symptoms of diabetes, hypertension, and hyperuricemia. This study used a descriptive observational method, collecting primary data from pre- and post-test responses and health test results. In the first intervention, information about NCDs was provided and participants’ knowledge was increased by 31.25%. The second intervention was a health screening, which included measuring blood pressure and blood sugar levels. Uric acid levels were also measured at five points in Sambimulyo Village, with 129 participants. The results showed that 41.1% had high blood pressure, 29.5% were classified as diabetic, and 18.8% had high uric acid levels. These activities increased public knowledge about NCDs, provided information about the community’s risk factors, and improved communication, education, and information about how to manage these conditions.

This study aimed to explain the concept of character education contained in the book of Hikam and its relevance to Indonesia's national character education program. This research had been library research that used the content analysis technique. The data collection technique used the documentation technique. The findings in this study were that the concept of character education in the book of Hikam had been religious character education which refers to the character of Uluhiyyah (divinity), namely, humans must orient all their life activities to God by spreading goodness wherever they are. The closer and more obedient a person is to his God, the more character and noble that person will be. This religious education is an exercise (riyadhah) and sincerity (mujahadah) that is planned and systematic and carried out by an educator to form a pious personality in a student physically and spiritually. The concept of religious character refers to faith, honesty, piety, sincerity, and patience. Religious character educates a human being to become a person of character and responsibility. The character education values in the book of Hikam strengthen Indonesia's national character education program. In Sheikh Ibn Atha'illah's view, the character education strategy is divided into two stages: planting and spreading. Religious education is very relevant to the national character education strategy, namely intervention (instilling character in students) and habituation (instilling character through the environment). Studi ini bertujuan menjelaskan konsep pendidikan karakter yang ada dalam kitab Sufi Hikam serta relevansinya terhadap program nasional pendidikan karakter yang ada di Indonesia. Penelitian ini adalah library research yang mengunakan teknik content analisa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi. Temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah konsep pendidikan karakter yang ada pada kitab sufi Hikam adalah pendidikan karakter religious yang mengacu pada karakter Uluhiyyah (ketuhanan), yakni manusia harus mengorientasikan segala aktivitas kehidupanya kepada tuhan dengan menyebarkan kebaikan dimana saja berada. Semakin dekat dan taat seseorang kepada tuhanya maka orang tersebut akan semakin berkarakter dan berakhlak mulia. Pendidikan religius ini merupakan suatu latihan (riyadhah) dan kesungguhan (mujahadah) yang terencana dan sistematis, serta dilakukan oleh seorang pendidik untuk membentuk kepribadian yang shaleh pada seorang anak didik baik dari segi jasmani maupun rohaninya. Konsep karakter religius ini mengacu pada nilai-nilai keimanan, kejujuran, ketakwaan, keikhlasan dan kesabaran. Kitab Hikam mendidik seorang manusia menjadi pribadi yang berkarakter dan bertangung jawab. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada kitab Hikam menguatkan program nasional pendidikan karakter di Indonesia. Strategi pendidikan karakter dalam pandangan Syeikh Ibnu Atha’illah dibagi dalam dua tahap, yaitu proses penanaman dan penyebaran. Hal ini sangat relevan dengan strategi pendidikan karakter nasional, yaitu intervensi (penanaman karakter pada diri peserta didik), dan habituasi (penanaman karakter melalui lingkungan).

This service program aims to provide knowledge and increase teacher competence in compiling teaching materials in modules based on local wisdom by integrating elements of the cultural habits of the local community. The methods were done by training with technical lectures, discussions, questions - answers, and assignments. This service program was attended by 12 science teachers at SMAN 2 Sungai Penuh. The evaluation form of this program was in the form of a response to the usefulness and impact obtained from the activity results through the distribution of questionnaires and using a question-and-answer method with qualitative descriptive techniques to determine the strategy for implementing the ethnoscience module in the classroom learning process. The results showed that the teacher understood and strongly agreed that ethnoscience was integrated into the lesson. Furthermore, the teacher could draft teaching materials containing local wisdom in learning modules.

Goal 6 of the SDGs goes beyond inadequate water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) access. In 2017, West Java's improved sanitation coverage was 64.4%, which is lower than Indonesia's average. The research objective is to investigate the correlation between household characteristics with WASH conditions in West Java. Data from the 2017 Indonesian DHS were used with 4,567 households. A cross-sectional study using logistic regression. The result showed an improved facility for WASH in West Java, respectively, source of drinking water (93.8%), sanitation facility (92.2%), handwashing facility (92.5%), and soap and water availability (95.7%). Based on data analysis, unimproved source of drinking water was associated with household age over 47 years (OR: 1.37, 95%CI 1.06-1.77), poor economic (OR: 6.14, 95% CI 4.12-9.15), and living in the rural area (OR: 4.63, 95% CI 3.56-6.03). Unimproved sanitation facilities, unimproved handwashing facilities, and unavailability of soap and water were associated with low education and poor economy. At the same time, those living in rural areas are more likely to have unimproved handwashing facilities. It is recommended for the intervention program to focus more on characteristics that proved to be associated with the study.

Pendidikan merupakan hak setiap warga negara indonesia tidak terkecuali anak-anak yang berada di panti asuhan. Terbatasnya kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh panti asuhan dalam memberikan tambahan materi pembelajaran kepada anak-anak asuh terutama bidang studi matematika merupakan dasar dari pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di panti asuhan Al-Akbar Pekanbaru dengan memberikan pendalaman materi matematika khususnya tingkat SMA dengan jumlah peserta 26 orang anak asuh sebagai target dari kegiatan ini. Adapun metode pelaksanaannya dibagi menjadi dua tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan dimana tim melakukan survey ke lapangan, mempersiapkan administrasi dan persiapan materi kemudian tahap kedua yaitu tahap pelaksanaan dengan pemberian materi dan diskusi dengan membagi peserta kegiatan menjadi kelompok belajar yang dibagi bersadarkan tingkat pendidikan. Kegiatan pembinaan dilakukan secara luring atau tatap muka langsung dan dilakukan di panti asuhan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan hasil yang memuaskan bagi mitra yaitu panti asuhan dengan memberi pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang lebih dalam bidang studi matematika SMA.

This study discusses the design of the MIMO microstrip antenna which is implemented in a 5G communication system that works on the N40 frequency band (2.3-2.4 GHz) with the center frequency of 2.35 GHz. The parameters that are unique of this antenna is focusing on the mutual coupling and correlation of MIMO antennas. The MIMO configuration was chosen because it can meet the high data transmission needs of 5G communication systems. The antenna is composed of a square patch with a microstrip insert feed-line technique. Then, the substrate uses FR-4 material, with a dielectric constant value of 4.3. After the design of a single element antenna that works according to the criteria is obtained, then the antenna is arranged into a configuration of 4 parallel elements, a 2×2 MIMO configuration with uniform polarization, and a 2×2 MIMO configuration with non-uniform polarization. After the design process, the antenna design is fabricated and then measured using a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA). The analysed antenna parameters are return loss, mutual coupling, Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR), bandwidth, and radiation pattern. From the element measurement results, it is found that the return loss is -11.24 dB and the bandwidth is 70 MHz at the center frequency of 2.35 GHz. As for the analysis of mutual coupling between elements, the best results were obtained from the MIMO configuration of 2×2 non-uniform polarization with values -20 dB for all elements. The antenna measurement results obtained indicate a similarity with the simulation results. This result is suitable for MIMO applications that require very low mutual coupling and correlation between elements.

Garlic is an agricultural commodity with benefits as a kitchen spice and traditional medicine. Garlic is a horticultural commodity that plays an important role in Indonesia’s maintaining the economy and national food security. Garlic cultivation is rare in Indonesia. Only three garlic centers exist in Central Java, West Nusa Tenggara, and West Sumatra. One of the garlic centers in Central Java is in Magelang Regency. However, garlic production in the Regency has decreased from 2013 to 2017. The government is trying to achieve self-sufficiency of garlic to increase garlic production. This caused researchers to research garlic businesses and their contribution to farmers’ income. The resulting analysis can help the government create policy programs to support increased garlic production and support farmers in continuing to carry out garlic farming sustainably. The study results showed that the average farmer income was IDR 35,411,324 per hectare with an income of IDR 88,232,387 per hectare. The contribution of garlic farming to farmers’ income is 47.63 percent, which is included in the moderate category

The “Julang-jaling” or Kabau plant is a common vegetation found in Sumatra. Kabau seeds are used by local communities in Sumatra as a culinary ingredient and spice. Several studies have demonstrated that Archidendron bubalinum, a species of Kabau plant, contains phytochemical compounds including flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and steroids. However, the utilization of Kabau’s seed pod remains limited and remains unexplored. This research aims to describe the morphological characteristics of the Kabau plant from South Lampung Regency, followed by analyzing the phytochemical compounds, and antioxidant activity of the Kabau seed pod extract. Qualitative phytochemical screening was conducted qualitatively to detect the presence of alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, phenolics, tannins, steroids, and triterpenoids. Antioxidant activity was analyzed using the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method. Identification of morphological characteristics presented that Archidendron jiringoides in this study had several differences compared to Archidendron bubalinum. i.e seed arrangement and diameter; seed pod length, diameter, shape, and colour; also twig shape. The result of qualitative phytochemical screening of kabau (Archidendron jiringoides) seed pod extract showed the presence of flavonoids, saponins, phenolics, tannins, and triterpenoids. The antioxidant activity (IC50) value of 32.01 μg/ml. The antioxidant potential observed in the extract of kabau seed pods was categorized as very strong.

Pemeliharaan perbaikan mesin maupun pipa selalu dilakukan oleh tim maintenance yang ditugaskan dari kantor PDAM Tirta Daroy. Sistem penugasan perbaikan mesin dan pipa dilakukan oleh pimpinan bagian pemeliharaan kepada setiap anggota teknisi. Saat ini sistem penugasan dilakukan dengan menelpon teknisi-teknisi tersebut untuk melakukan perbaikan disuatu tempat. Setiap teknisi tersebut nantinya akan berkumpul pada tempat terjadinya kerusakan dan melakukan perbaikan kerusakan pipa atau mesin tersebut. Berdasarkan sistem yang telah berjalan saat ini, semua sistem penugasan tidak tertulis dengan jelas, hanya dilakukan dengan metode informasi langsung via telepon kepada setiap teknisi. Dari sistem yang telah berjalan maka terdapat kendala yaitu sistem penugasan tidak terdata dengan baik. Maka oleh sebab itu diperlukan sebuah sistem informasi pemeliharaan pipa dan mesin yang dapat memberikan informasi penugasan berbasis teks via SMS Gateway yang dapat direkam oleh database sistem informasi tersebut, sehingga dapat menghasilkan laporan penugasan dan data teknis dari kegiatan penugasan perbaikan dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membangun sistem informasi penugasan maintenance mesin dan pipa berbasis layanan global sistem communication pada PDAM Tirta Daroy Banda Aceh. Metodologi pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) dengan menggunakan pemrograman PHP dan MySQL. Hasil penelitian adalah sistem yang dirancang telah berhasil meningkatkan kinerja petugas dalam menghasilkan laporan maintenance dan laporan detil per maintenance. Disamping itu juga sistem informasi telah berhasil mengirimkan pesan kepada teknisi melalui SMS dengan baik.

PVA/Na-CMC hydrogels were prepared from polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and Na-CMC isolated from OPEFB. Maleic anhydrous (MA) was introduced as a crosslinking agent during the formation of the hydrogel process. The characterization of the PVA/Na-CMC hydrogels was carried out using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), and physical characterization methods, including swelling ratio and gel fraction analysis. The addition of MA was observed to increase the number of crosslinks. The optimum PVA/Na-CMC hydrogel composition was achieved at a PVA: Na-CMC ratio of 5:3 (P5C3M), with a pore size of approximately 3.643 ± 0,913 μm, a swelling ratio of 3104%, and a gel fraction value of 72.72%.

This study was conducted at SMP Negeri 9 Jambi City to determine the effect of the Problem-based Learning (PBL) model on mathematical literacy skills in the Pythagorean Theorem material. The quasi-experimental design was used with a non-equivalent pretest and posttest control group design. The researchers collected the mathematical literacy ability data using a description test instrument. Furthermore, the visual-verbal ability data was collected using a visual-verbal ability questionnaire. This research was conducted on the seventh-grade students, with 69 students divided into two classes (experimental and control classes). A random sampling technique determined the sample. Based on the two-way ANOVA test, applying the Problem-based Learning (PBL) model on students' mathematical literacy skills was an effect. There was an effect of visual-verbal ability on literacy skills.

This study investigates the influence of growth mind-set toward empowerment, life satisfaction and turn over intention in textile industry. Since Vietnam's performance in the garment sector has surpassed Indonesia's in recent years, this study aims to examine the difference working condition between Indonesia and Vietnam. This research based on the mix of quantitative and qualitative approach by interviewing 2897 garment workers from Indonesia and 2840 from Vietnam. The quantitative data were processed using LISREL 8.51 software with structural equation modelling. The results of this study reveal the fact that turnover intention could be minimised by reducing work-family conflict, increasing life satisfaction, and provide empowerment to their workers. On top of that, companies should pay serious attention to the important of growth mind-set, which apparently could lead to effective empowerment.

Manuka and forest honeys are types of honeys that are widely consumed because for their antioxidant properties. In this study, the properties of forets and manuka honey and the use of honey as a herbal drink with the addition of Qusthul hindi and turmeric were analyzed. The addition of Qusthul hindi (0,125 g and 0,375 g) and turmeric (0,125 g and 0,375 g) is given in two formulations. This study was conducted in two phase, namely analyzing the characteristics of manuka and forest honey and preparing herbal drinks to then analyzing their properties. The results showed that the properties of forest honey do not meet the standards for the variables of pH, HMF value, and diastase enzyme activity, while Manuka honey meets the standards only for variables of moisture, HMF value, and diastase enzyme activity. The addition of Qusthul hindi and turmeric to herbal drinks results in an increase in pH, DPPH inhibitoty activity, and antioxidant capacity, as well as a decrease of water content, but is not sensory evaluated because the addition of spices causes changes in taste and appearance.

The Covid-19 pandemic has made conventional lectures turn to online learning. The lecture system that is carried out by students is expected not to reduce student engagement in every lecture. Student involvement is due to the social support and academic resilience of students. This study aimed to determine the effect of academic resilience and social support on student engagement in online lectures. This study used a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were 100 students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Mulawarman University who were selected using a simple random sampling technique. The data collection method used the scales of student engagement, academic resilience, and social support. The results showed that: (1) there is a significant effect of academic resilience and social support on student involvement in online lectures (p < 0.05) and had an influence contribution (R2) of 52%; (2) there is a significant positive effect of academic resilience on student involvement in online lectures (p < 0.05); (3) there is a significant positive effect of social support on student involvement in online lectures (p < 0.05).

Potential energy curves (PECs) and energy profiles of atomic O attack on coronene as a model for graphene/graphitic surface and interstellar reaction surface have been computed at the unrestricted B3LYP/cc-pVDZ level of theory to elaborate on atomic O attack mechanism and chemisorption on coronene. The PECs were generated by scanning the O atom distance to the closest carbon atom on "top" and "bridge" positions in the coronene, while fully relaxed geometries in the triplet state were investigated to gain the energy profile. We found that the most favorable geometry as the final product was the chemically bound O on the "bridge" site in the singlet state with an interaction energy of –29.2 kcal/mol. We recommended a plausible mechanism of atomic O attack and chemisorption reaction on coronene or generally graphitic surface starting from the non-interacting O atom and coronene systems into the chemically bound O atom on coronene.

This study discusses the factors influencing students’ perceptions of using accounting software during distance learning. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The data were obtained from questionnaires distributed to 134 students. SEM-PLS method with smartPLS was employed in this study. The result of this study states that distance learning has a negative effect on computer anxiety and computer anxiety itself negatively affects computer self-efficacy, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness. Computer self-efficacy has a positive effect on perceived ease of use. Perceived ease of use has a positive effect on perceived usefulness. This study examines only the factors influencing student perception and intention to use accounting software. This study provides empirical evidence on the effect of transactional distance and other factors such as computer anxiety and computer self-efficacy on perceptions of using accounting software. In addition, this research can enrich study materials or references for the future research.

This study aims to describe the level of validity of mathematics learning tools using the Problem Posing model oriented to mathematical problem solving abilities on statistics which has been tested valid. The development model in this study uses the Plomp model which has three stage, namely the Preliminary Research Phase, the Prototype Phase, the Assessment Phase. The data collection techniques used were the validation of learning tools. The data collection instrument used was a validation sheet. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statiscal analysis technique. The result of the research validation analysis by three validators obtained an average validation every RPP of each validator was 100% for aspect of indicator one as measured by guttman scale of which are very valid criteria and 80,36% for aspect of indicator two to seven as measured by likert scale of which are valid criteria, and for the average validation every LKPD of each validator was 93,33% for aspect of indicator one as measured by guttman scale of which are very valid criteria and 75% aspect of indicator two to three as measured by likert scale of which are valid criteria. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the development of learning tools using the Problem Posing model oriented to the mathematical problem solving abilities has been tested for its validity. This study aims to analyze determinant performance of Islamic equity funds and compare the performance of Indonesian Islamic equity funds with Malaysian Islamic equity funds period 2017-2019. Factors that are thought to affect the performance of mutual funds are past performance and inflation. Mutual fund performance itself is measured using the Sharpe Index. This study uses secondary data and the sample is taken using purposive sampling. Methods of data analysis using Panel Data Regression. This study indicates that simultaneously the variables Past Performance and Inflation affect the performance of Islamic equity mutual funds in Indonesia and Malaysia. Furthermore, it partially shows that Past Performance harms the performance of Islamic equity funds, while inflation positively affects the performance of Islamic equity funds. In addition, this study also shows that there is a significant difference between the performance of Indonesian and Malaysian Islamic equity funds. Malaysian Islamic equity funds were superior to Indonesian Islamic equity funds in 2017-2019.

Perkembangan teknologi informasi saat ini mendorong perubahan di berbagai sektor, sehingga pada tahun 2015, PBB menginisiasi Agenda 2030 yaitu Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs). Tujuan ke-11 yaitu menjadikan kota dan permukiman manusia inklusif, aman, tangguh, dan berkelanjutan. Untuk mewujudkan tujuan tersebut, dibutuhkan kesiapan sumber daya manusia untuk mengelola sumber daya lainnya agar dapat dimanfaatkan secara efektif. Dengan dukungan teknologi informasi, Pemerintah Kabupaten Batang menginisiasi konsep smart village sesuai Perbub No. 11 Tahun 2018. Sehingga dalam penerapannya dibutuhkan kesiapan sumber daya manusia, infrastruktur, dan tata kelola yang baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 56 desa/ kelurahan pilot project smart village di Kabupaten Batang tahun 2018. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai penerapan komponen smart governance berdasarkan konsep smart village. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif dengan analisis skoring. Variabel yang diteliti yaitu pelayanan publik, sistem informasi desa, dan pengelolaan dana desa. Hasilnya yaitu penerapan komponen smart governance sebagian besar masih kurang optimal (76,79%), sedangkan sisanya sudah optimal (16,07%) dan belum optimal (7,14%). Desa-desa yang belum optimal yaitu Desa Warungasem, Tumbrep, Amongrogo, dan Kandeman. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan yaitu peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi, sehingga smart village Kabupaten Batang kedepannya dapat diterapkan secara lebih optimal, efektif, dan berkelanjutan.

Indonesia as a big country certainly is not free from various problems, one of which is poverty. Poverty in Indonesia has strong effect on the welfare of Indonesian citizens. “Program Keluarga Harapan” is a government program as an effort to reduce poverty in Indonesia. The purposes of this research were: (1) To determine the factors which caused conflict among the beneficiaries in Patikraja, Banyumas Regency, Central Javs; (2) To determine the role of social caseworker in managing conflicts on Program Keluarga Harapan beneficiaries in Patikraja, Banyumas regency. Methods used in this research was case study. Data collection techniques which were used in this study were observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this research were factors caused conflicts were the limited quota of the “Program Keluarga Harapan” and the social jealousy from the citizens who were not belong to the beneficiaries. Furthermore, the role of social caseworker in managing conflict on the Program Kelarga Harapan beneficiaries in Patikraja, Banyumas Regency, Central Java was by conductiong a mediation which used a strategy of communication and strongly hold on to the mediator principles. Indonesia sebagai negara yang besar tentu saja tidak luput dari berbagai persoalan salah satunya yaitu kemiskinan. Kemiskinan yang terjadi di Indonesia sangat berpengaruh terhadap kesejahteraan warga negara Indonesia. Program Keluarga Harapan adalah program pemerintah sebagai upaya menanggulangi kemiskinan di Indonesia. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah; (1) mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya konflik penerima bantuan sosial di Kecamatan Patikraja Kabupaten Banyumas Jawa Tengah (2) mengetahui peran pendamping sosial dalam mengatasi konflik pada penerima bantuan sosial Program Keluarga Harapan di Kecamatan Patikraja Kabupaten Banyumas, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya konflik yaitu keterbatasan kuota bantuan program keluarga harapan dan kecemburuan sosial dari warga masyarakat yang tidak menerima bantuan. Kemudian peran pendamping sosial dalam mengatasi konflik pada penerima bantuan sosial program keluarga harapan di Kecamatan Patikraja Kabupaten Banyumas adalah dengan cara mediasi dengan strateri fasilitasi komunikasi dan berpegang teguh pada prinsip-prinsip sebagai mediator.

Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) adalah sebuah istilah yang digunakan untuk menjelaskan kumpulan gejala berupa rasa tegang pada mata, rasa tidak nyaman pada mata, sakit kepala, mata kering, penglihatan buram pada jarak dekat, dan penglihatan ganda yang terjadi pada pengguna komputer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan kejadian CVS pada pegawai PT. Media Kita Sejahtera. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan rancangan penelitian cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua pegawai pengguna komputer di PT. Media Kita Sejahtera Kendari yang berjumlah 35 orang. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara lama penggunaan komputer (pvalue = 0,000), lama istirahat (pvalue = 0,004) dengan kejadian CVS pada pegawai pengguna komputer di PT. Media Kita Sejahtera Kendari, sementara tidak terdapat hubungan antara jenis kelamin (pvalue = 0,056), penggunaan kacamata (pvalue = 0,629), jarak mata (pvalue = 1,000) dengan kejadian CVS pada pegawai pengguna komputer di PT. Media Kita Sejahtera Kendari. Saran adalah setiap 20 menit bekerja di depan komputer diharapkan beristirahat ±20 detik dengan melihat benda yang jaraknya ±20 kaki untuk mencegah terjadinya CVS. Untuk peneliti lainnya agar dapat meneliti variabel lain seperti usia, ukuran obyek, lama penggunaan VDT (termasuk tablet), tampilan layar monitor, jenis kegiatan responden, dan sebagainya.
