Antiseptic paper soap is convenient because it is flexible, safe for the skin, easily foams, and relatively affordable. Measuring the ratio between the concentrations of NaOH, cooking oil, citronella oil, and aloe vera additives is needed to improve the quality of antiseptic paper soap. Testing the saponification rate, density, pH, water content, fatty acid (FA) level, and free alkali content is critical to determine the characteristics of antiseptic paper soap so that it meets the standards for solid bath soap according to SNI 3532-2021 which is closest to the characteristics of paper soap because SNI for paper soap is not yet available. The weight ratio of citronella oil to cooking oil used is 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3. The NaOH concentrations used were 30%, 40%, and 50% w/v. The natural additives used are 0%, 5%, and up to 10% of the total mass. The research results showed that saponification value of the antiseptic paper soap produced was 197.724 milligrams KOH/gram up to 206.138 milligrams KOH/gram, the pH of the antiseptic paper soap was 9.1-10.6, the water content value was 10.940%-23.863%, the alkali content value free is 0.044%-0.104%, total fatty acid (FA) content is 29.688%-45.734%. The best antiseptic paper soap is produced using 30% w/v NaOH with a weight ratio of citronella oil to cooking oil used of 1:1 and natural additives (aloe vera) 5% of the total mass.

Teachers use many methods to measure students' progress in learning Arabic, either by using a computer or manually. This study aimed to determine the level and comparison between student motivation to complete assignments using computer-based and paper-based test methods in Arabic language learning. This research used a quantitative approach with comparative descriptive by performing observation, questionnaire, and interview for data collection. It used data analysis methods, such as validity tests, reliability tests and percentage analysis. The research subjects were 23 tenth graders of Visual Communication Design of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Malang. The results of this study are: (1) the motivation of students to complete Arabic language assignments by computer-based test methods is 81.13% with high category. (2) The motivation of students to complete Arabic language assignments by paper-based test method is 83.82% with high category. (3) Comparison between the motivation of students to complete assignments using computer and paper-based test methods is 2.7% with low category. This difference is due to several factors, including human resource factors. This research has contributed to the Arabic language learning evaluation as it can be used as a teacher's consideration on what methods to use.

Due to the lack of current study numbers discussing English proficiency tests such as TOEFL, this study aims to investigate the test takers’ point of view on the TOEFL ITP test, mainly paper based-test and computer-based TOEFL, the similar TOEFL ITP test but employing computer screen as media. The latest study about those two assessments is necessary since both kinds of TOEFL media are massively implemented, particularly backward and after the pandemic Covid19. A survey methodology is employed in this study by spreading questionnaires. The scores gained from those two disparate TOEFL tests are described statistically. The gathered data were then analyzed using descriptive statistics and factor analysis to outline the perspectives of the test-takers on TOEFL PBT and CBT. Fifty-two participants from various education background levels, ages and genders partaking in this study. As a result, this study reveals that the implementing a computer screen for TOEFL obtained more positive percentages than paper-based TOEFL tests. The formation of legal products in the regions cannot be separated from the preparation of academic texts as the basis for their formation. However, the existence of alternative explanations/information as a substitute for academic texts has caused legal products at the regional level not to fully use academic texts. Based on this, it is necessary to elaborate on the urgency of academic papers in the formation of legal products at the regional level. In addition, further explanation regarding the mechanism for implementing academic papers in the formation of legal products at the regional level is the main research objective. The research method used in research is normative legal research or doctrinal legal research which bases arguments on theories, principles, concepts, and laws and regulations. The selection of the normative method is based on the existence of legal issues regarding the blurring of norms regarding the regulation of academic texts in the formation of legal products at the regional level. An explanation of this can only be obtained by conducting a doctrinal study. The results of the research lead to the conclusion that academic papers are needed as guidelines in drafting legal products at the regional level. Implementation of academic drafting should be carried out in the pre-legislative stage by identifying problems in society and elaborating them theoretically so that solutions can be formulated as outlined in the draft legal products at the regional level. The preparation of academic manuscripts also requires collecting data through interviews, observations, and literature studies to find solutions to problems in society. These results then go through a dissemination process in the form of FGDs with community representatives and parties related to the regional regulations that will be formed.

Handmade papermaking technology was mass accepted and considered as one of the very valuable commodities in the papermaking industry. After industrialization, handmade papers were replaced by wood pulp-based machine-made papers which destroyed the production of handmade papers. Consequently, industrialized production of paper has wrecked handmade paper production. This situation has also resulted in encouraging dependency on the importation of foreign materials in the teaching and creation of art. This presents a problem regarding sustainability especially in the area of good sources for cellulose-yielding plants that grow at fast rates due to global warming. In view of the above, the study employs a practice-based research methodology. In this exploration, twenty-two plants were collected and experimented with to test their ability to produce good sheets of paper in Ghana. The results showed an interesting array of sheets of different shades and strengths that can be used for artistic purposes. It is eco–friendly, biologically degradable, and can be recycled and affordable. It is recommended that artists, small and medium-scale enterprises, and local industries in Ghana see the value and encourage the use of handmade paper production as a traditional technology for its social, economic, and environmental benefits.

Indonesia has the highest number of active volcanoes in the world due to its geologic location at the confluence of the Eurasian and Australian plates. However, despite this, the knowledge of local communities regarding volcanic eruptions is still very minimal. Therefore, it is important to provide education to the community in this context is the local community. This Community Service Program aims to increase community knowledge related to the process of volcanic eruption by using pulp-based learning media, so that it can become disaster mitigation knowledge. The methods used are observation, coaching or training based on practical simulations, questionnaires and interviews. The subject of this Community Service is the community of Tambun village, Baolan sub-district, Tolitoli district, totaling 21 people in collaboration with students of the elementary school teacher education program in semester III. The results of this program are the increase in community knowledge related to volcanic eruptions and the growth of community awareness related to the use of waste paper, this is in line with SDGs 4 and SDGs 17 relating to quality education and partnerships with the community.

This study aims to determine the validity of the gap between madrasah policies and field facts in implementing extracurricular activities based on character education. Novelty by using the Discrepancy Evaluation Model (DEM) framework which is estimated to have the accuracy of assessing extracurricular activities of Adolescent Scientific Work based on character education as a basis for evaluating success. This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 5 Bogor. This data was obtained from research subjects such as madrasah heads, student affairs representatives, coaches, chairmen, and parents. Data were collected from the triangulation process by observation, interviews, and documentation studies and then analyzed the findings data in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 62 of 2014 concerning Extracurricular Activities and Guidelines for Extracurricular Activities in Primary and Secondary Education as the evaluation standards used. The results of the study have an impact on the need for improvement in extracurricular activity programs because there is a gap between Madrasah stakeholder policies and field facts, namely the lack of optimal management, management and guidance of KIR Coaches, as well as financing and infrastructure in supporting extracurricular activities

Students often ask about the practical application of concepts and knowledge gained from their coursework. Practicum worksheets provide an opportunity for students to engage in hands-on learning, identify their strengths, learn from their mistakes, and develop enhanced competence as learners. This study aims to develop an effective and valid worksheet on PjBL in whey kefir paper soap. Research and Development (R&D) is used as a method. Worksheet designs were produced using three formulas depending on production techniques. Based on Indonesia National Standard, Formula 1 (8% whey kefir) demonstrated the best qualities of the paper soap. The expert validation test of the worksheets showed a rcount value of 0.84 (valid). The percentage of worksheet answers was very good (88%). Student worksheet feasibility test results showed a rcount value of 0.84 (feasible). Practicum worksheets are categorized as very suitable for use as a learning media in an organic chemistry course.

This study aimed to determine the effect of paper dolls as a storytelling medium on literacy skills in elementary school students. Students consider that literacy is not essential, resulting in low interest in reading students and the impact of online learning; parents do not support student literacy, so students' literacy skills still need to be improved. This study uses a quantitative approach with a Pre-Experimental research design with the One Group Pretest Posttest Design type. The population of this research is elementary school students in Pati, Central Java. Data collection techniques using test techniques. The research data was examined through the normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis testing, and n-gain test. The results showed that the effect of paper dolls as a storytelling medium on elementary school students' literacy skills was significant change. This can be seen from the increase in value after being given treatment in the form of using paper doll media as a storytelling medium which has increased. The lowest score in the pretest data was 40, and in the posttest data, it increased to 47, while the highest score in the pretest data was 67, and in the posttest, it increased to 97. The results of the data normality test obtained the sig value data in the pretest value of 0.102, and the sig value in the posttest value is 0.130 or greater than 0.05. So the data has a normal distribution. The paired sample mean difference test results showed an equal variance assumed value of 0.000. The decision was made based on the significance value; the result was a significance value of 0.000

Learning activities were carried out online during the Covid-19 pandemic. Students must improve their ability to write biological scientific papers and apply them in the real world, even presenting them during distance learning. This research is classroom action research that aims to improve the mastery of cell transport concepts and their ability to write scientific papers through online learning. The research was conducted in class XI MIPA 1 at SMA Negeri 2 Purwakarta with 36 students with three cycles of treatment using a constructivist approach with a modified inquiry model. Each cycle is based on a reflection of the previous cycle. The test result data in each cycle is analyzed by comparing the data before and after treatment. Observation data about scientific writing components was analyzed to identify difficulties experienced by students. The results showed that the average learning outcomes for mastery concepts increased by 54.2% using the N-gain score, which means that the treatment significantly impacts mastering the concept of cell transport. The ability of scientific writing papers shows an increase of 11.25%. These classroom action research results show that making scientific writing papers can improve mastery of cell transport, and this may be a recommendation for teaching methods on other concepts. Abstrak Kegiatan pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara daring selama pandemi covid 19. Kemampuan peserta didik dalam menulis karya ilmiah biologi dan menerapkannya dalam dunia nyata penting ditingkatkan, bahkan presentasi saat belajar jarak jauh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep transportasi sel, dan meningkatkan kemampuan menulis karya ilmiah dengan pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 2 Purwakarta yang berjumlah 36 siswa, dengan perlakuan 3 siklus menggunakan pendekatan konstruktivisme dengan model inkuiri yang dimodifikasi. Setiap siklus didasarkan pada refleksi dari siklus sebelumnya. Data hasil tes setiap siklus dianalisis dengan membandingkan data sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Data observasi tentang komponen penulisan ilmiah dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan yang dialami siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar penguasaan konsep meningkat sebesar 54,2% dengan menggunakan skor N-gain yang berarti perlakuan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penguasaan konsep transportasi sel. Kemampuan menulis karya ilmiah menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 11,25%. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini menunjukkan bahwa pembuatan karya tulis ilmiah dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep transportasi sel, dan dapat menjadi rekomendasi metode pengajaran pada konsep lainnya.

The use of templates and examples of papers separately is proven to be able to develop students' writing skills. The average degree of mastery that can be achieved is already in the good category. Using various learning facilities can be a solution to improve these achievements into a very good category. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing templates and sample papers in developing students' writing skills in science courses. The pre-experimental research was conducted on elementary school teacher education study program students. Data on each student's scientific research paper writing skills were collected using the documentation method. This data was then analyzed descriptively. The descriptive analysis includes average and proportion measurements. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the average student's skills in writing papers were in a good category. Most students have very good (41.44%) and good (40.54%) categories of writing skills. 13 indicators have reached the very good category, one indicator is in a good category, and two indicators are in the sufficient category. The rests are one indicator still in the less category and four indicators in the less category. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research results is using examples and paper templates as effective learning facilities to improve students' writing skills.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas VII.2 dalam pembelajaran pendidikan pancasila melalui penggunaan media Quizizz Paper Mode di-SMPN 33 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) yang dilakukan selama tiga siklus dengan subjek penelitian seluruh peserta didik kelas VII.2 SMPN 33 Palembang dengan 32 orang peserta didik yang terdiri atas 19 Laki-laki dan 13 Perempuan pada materi Bab VI yaitu Bekerja Sama dan Begotong Royong di mana dalam tiga siklus yang dilaksankan ketiganya melakukan tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian ini di observasi oleh tiga observer yang hasilnya di analisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Quizizz Paper Mode dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas VII.2 SMPN 33 Palembang hal tersebut dapat dilihat pada kegiatan pra siklus dengan motivasi belajar peserta didik sebesar 47% meningkat pada siklus 1 menjadi 67%, siklus 2 77% dan siklus 3 86% yang berarti media pembelajaran Quizizz Paper Mode dapat meningkakan motivasi belajar peserta didik.

Non-Tariff Measures (NTMs) are likely applied by some major trading countries. The NTM policy mostly applies Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) and Technical Barrier to Trade (TBT). Pulp and Paper commodities are some of Indonesia’s potential exports facing NTM barriers by a number of major destinations countries. This study is aimed to evaluate the effects of NTMs upon Indonesian pulp and paper export in the main destinations. NTMs are represented by coverage ratio of SPS and coverage ratio of TBT. The effect of NTMs imposition to pulp and paper between Indonesia and its main trade partners is estimated by using a panel data gravity model that is constructed by disaggregated data on bilateral export trade flow of pulp and paper between Indonesia and its main trade partners for the period from 2005 to 2019. The gravity model is estimated by a fixed effects model, Poisson Pseudo Maximum Likelihood, and Hausman Taylor model. The results indicated that the imposition of SPS and TBT of destination countries presented a positive and significant impact upon the Indonesian export of pulp. However, the imposition of SPS and TBT of destination countries presented a negative and significant impact upon the Indonesian export of paper.

This research compares different methods for optimizing and monitoring Kubernetes clusters. Three referenced journals are analyzed: "Kubernetes cluster optimization using hybrid shared-state scheduling framework" by Oana-Mihaela Ungureanu, Călin Vlădeanu, Robert Kooij; "Monitoring Kubernetes Clusters Using Prometheus and Grafana" by Salma Rachman Dira, Muhammad Arif Fadhly Ridha; and "Cluster Frameworks for Efficient Scheduling and Resource Allocation in Data Center Networks: A Survey" by Kun Wang, Qihua Zhou, Song Guo, and Jiangtao Luo. These journals explore various approaches to optimizing and monitoring Kubernetes clusters. This review concludes that selecting appropriate technologies for optimizing and monitoring Kubernetes clusters can enhance performance and resource management efficiency in data centre networks. The research addresses the problem of improving Kubernetes cluster performance through optimization and efficient monitoring. The required methods include utilizing hybrid state-sharing scheduling frameworks, implementing Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring, and employing efficient cluster frameworks. The study's findings demonstrate that adopting a hybrid shared-state scheduling framework can improve Kubernetes cluster performance. Additionally, leveraging Prometheus and Grafana as monitoring tools offer valuable insights into cluster health and performance. The survey also reveals various cluster frameworks that enable efficient scheduling and resource allocation in data centre networks. In conclusion, this research emphasizes the significance of employing suitable technologies to optimize and monitor Kubernetes clusters, leading to enhanced performance and efficient resource management in data centre networks. By leveraging appropriate scheduling frameworks and monitoring tools, organizations can optimize their utilization of Kubernetes clusters and ensure efficient resource allocation

Natural product-based noise-absorbing composite can be an alternative to replace synthetic fiber because of its advantages of high strength, toughness, low price, and abundance to reduce noise. The materials used were pineapple leaf fibers with paper waste. This research aims to study the advantage of natural products to reduce noise by analyzing the coefficient of sound absorption and impact strength to evaluate the absorbing composite. The composites were tested with the Charpy method with ISO 11654 standard and ASTM E23 for sound absorption and impact strength. Sound absorption was carried out using an impedance tube at a frequency range of 250 – 3000 Hz. The volume fraction of pineapple leaf fibers, paper waste, and resin epoxy concentrations were 20% : 30% : 50%, 25% : 25% : 50%, and 30% : 20% : 50%. The thickness for the sound absorption coefficient was 2 cm and 3 cm, while the thickness of the impact strength was 0.5 cm. The highest sound absorption coefficient of pineapple leaf fibers composite for 30% : 20% : 50% volume fraction was 0.788 for sample 2 cm. The highest impact strength for 20% : 30% : 50% volume fraction of the thickness of 0.5 cm was 3.527 J/mm2. The results of the sound absorption coefficient will increase if used more pineapple leaf fibers but it will decrease the impact strength. Based on this research, the pineapple leaf fibers will improve the quality of the composite that can be used as a sound-absorbing material as well. These materials possess the promising potential to decrease waste and are used in industries for a low cost.

Larva dari Tenebrio molitor belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal, sementara secara alami memiliki manfaat sebagai pengurai senyawa organik dan anorganik di ekosistem. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung rerata pertambahan panjang dan bobot, laju degradasi,dan nilai indeks reduksi (WRI) beberapa jernis paper pulp menggunakan larva T. molitor. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 10 larva T. molitor instar 8. Pakan yang diberikan terdiri dari tisu makan, tisu basah, dan puntung rokok. Larva kontrol diberi pakan dedak. Masing-masing pakan diberikan sebanyak 1 gram dan diulang lima kali. Larva diukur pertambahan panjang dan beratnya 3 hari sekali. Pergantian pakan dilakukan dalam 3 hari, apabila sebelum 3 hari pakan yang diberikan habis, maka larva diberi pakan sebanyak 1 gram. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis inferensial dengan taraf kepercayaan 5%. Nilai tertinggi pertambahan panjang didapatkan pada pakan tisu basah dan putung rokok sebesar 1.58 gr sedangkan terendah pakan tisu makan sebesar 1.41 gr. Nilai tertinggi pertambahan bobot larva pada pakan tisu basah (0.06 gr), sedangkan terendah pakan tisu makan dan putung rokok (0.05 gr). Nilai tertinggi laju degradasi pada pakan tisu makan (0.88), sedangkan terendah pada pakan tisu basah (0.45). Nilai tertinggi WRI pada pakan putung rokok (0.49), sedangakn terendah pada pakan tisu makan (0.23). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwasanya penggunaan larva T. molitor bisa mendegradasi berbagai olahan paper pulp.

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk menigkatkan keterampilan berkarya seni rupa dan menambah wawasan mengenai peluang kewirausahaan bagi siswa serta tenaga pendidik di Rumah Belajar Autis Sarwahita (RBAS) Denpasar. Di RBAS terdapat beberapa siswa remaja autis yang memiliki minat dan bakat di bidang seni rupa serta memiliki kemampuan motorik yang baik. Mereka butuh untuk dikenalkan dengan berbagai keterampilan seni rupa sehingga diharapkan memiliki kreativitas dan keterampilan yang dapat mereka manfaatkan untuk menjadi mandiri di kemudian hari. Produk kerajinan paper quilling dalam wujud aksesoris gantungan kunci dan kalung dipilih dalam program pengabdian ini setelah melihat permasalahan bahwa di RBAS dalam pembelajaran keterampilan seni rupa masih belum diarahkan untuk membuat karya seni yang memiliki nilai jual. Selama ini pembelajaran seni rupa masih sebatas untuk melatih kreativitas dan menyalurkan ekspresi siswa. Selain itu, pelatihan pengembangan produk kreatif paper quilling ini diupayakan agar dapat membantu pihak yayasan RBAS merintis program kewirausahaan untuk memberdayakan siswa dan menyalurkan potensi, bakat, serta minat siswa khususnya di bidang seni rupa. Teknik paper quilling memiliki keunggulan antara lain: bahan mudah didapat, biaya produksi rendah, teknik dapat diaplikasikan pada berbagai macam produk, melatih fokus dan kesabaran remaja autis, serta unik.

Background of the study: Student research paper have an important role in the effort to mapping scientific archival field. Scientific work in the form of a diploma student's final paper can be a representation of the real conditions of conceptual dynamics and archival practices. Therefore, this study analyzes how the relationship between student final paper and the development of archival education curriculum. Purpose: This study aims to explain the correlation of student's final paper to the scientific development of archivel science at diploma level. The approach in this study refers to descriptive analysis. Method: This study is a descriptive qualitative research The method in this study is a literature study and interviews, while the instruments used in data collection are the results of an inventory of the students final paper of the Archival Science Study Program, Vocational College, UGM from 1997-2020. The data analysis technique refers to the frequency distribution using Microsoft Excel program. Findings: The tendency of students final paper related to the study of processing and managing textual is still dominant in the field of records. In addition, the dynamics of scientific development in the archival science still refers to the practical realm to create paraprofessional graduates in their fields. Conclusion: The scientific development of archival science through discourse in an effort to develop and establish new study programs at the Diploma-3 and Diploma-4 levels is relevant, considering the needs of Arsiparis in several institutions or organizations, both in the public and private sectors. The article aimed to analyze the students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills in making paper airplane toys. It is phenomenology research that was conducted on elementary school students with a total of 15 students. The data collection techniques used documentation and interviews. Because of the form of the data obtained descriptive, the analysis was carried out qualitatively, namely by coding with the flow of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the students apply critical thinking and problem-solving concepts in making paper airplane toys. Several other factors were students planning and designing carefully, measuring in detail with mathematical concepts and estimating what allows paper airplanes to fly for a long time or even for a short time. This research contributed to creating learning that develops critical thinking skills and problem-solving through simple things close to children's lives (contextual). The compost of inked paper and vegetable waste mixture is a result of the process of degradation of the components of lignin and cellulose. The process was activated by cellulolytic bacteria from rumen liquor. The aim of this study to know the compost quality of the inked paper and vegetable waste mixture. The content of by-products of compost studied were the levels of N, P, K, and Pb heavy metals. The composting process in this study was carried out by anaerobic. The N test used the Kjeldahl method, the P and K test used the Bray 1 method, and the Pb test used the AAS method (Atomic Adsorption Spectrophotometer). The data were analyzed using Manova statistical tests with LSD post hoc tests. From the observations, it was known that the addition of rumen liquor had a significant effect on the levels of P with the most optimal concentration of 50%, while for N and K levels and Pb heavy metals content was not significantly different. However, the average level of nutrient elements N (0.87% to 1.1%), P (0.2% to 0.5%) and K (0.52% to 0.58%) and Pb heavy metals (0.61ppm to 4.09 ppm) fulfill SNI 19-7030- 2004 standard.

This study presents a simple method for determination of potassium in microliter scale using a paper device together with a smartphone. The method begins with the ion-pair extraction of dibenzo-18-crown-6-K+ complex into dichloromethane with an excess amount of calmagite. The aqueous phase containing the remaining calmagite is transferred to the paper device, where a smartphone is used to capture the color and convert to RGB value. The linear detection range was found to cover potassium concentrations from 20 mg L-1 to 120 mg L-1. The detection and quantification are 5.41 mg L-1 and 18.03 mg L-1, respectively. Potassium detection was carried out in a variety of actual soil samples, and the results were validated against spectrophotometric results using a paired t-test, which indicated high accuracy. The proposed method is simple, fast, and inexpensive, and it requires no complicated equipment, making it ideally suited for detection of potassium in soil.

The study is limited to the types of documents, articles, proceedings, reviews, and book chapters. This study uses the Scopus database, and the data was collected on July 1, 2021. The targeted data was retrieved by applying the search keywords: “Islamic Education” OR “Madrasah” OR “Islamic School.” Findings – The results of this study reveal that there has been an increase in the study of Islamic Education in Scopus-indexed journals over the last five years, with most of them written by Indonesian scientists. However, most articles published in the two journals are not specific to the study of Islamic education or religious studies. Research implications/limitations – This study is limited to Islamic education research in the Scopus database. This study only looks at bibliometric data analysis. Further studies based on the systematic literature review method can investigate the findings. Islamic education researchers can use the results of this study to develop future research topics. Practical implications – This study sheds light on the evolution of Islamic education research. The results of this study have implications for a more focused direction of Islamic education research through information science tools.

Soap as a cleaning product has been the primary needs since the spread of Covid-19. Government regulations require people to wash their hands. Hence the demand for soap production is increasing. This study aimed to obtain a Traveling Paper Soap formulation from VCO and durian seeds for antibacterial activity on the skin. The experimental laboratory method uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The treatment in this study was the production of Durian Seed Bioethanol with a bioethanol capacity of 19.95% from the hydrolysis of 486 g of Durian Seed flour. The treatment in this study was the manufacture of durian seed bioethanol with a bioethanol content of 19.95% from the hydrolysis of 486 g of durian seed flour. The parameters of the bioethanol viscosity test were 0.7137 cP, and the bioethanol density was 0.9669 g/mL. Based on our research, the best traveling paper soap results are formulation 2 with a water content of 7%, pH value of 10, free alkali content of 0.21%, and antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus Epidermis of 22.3 mm. According to the Indonesian National Standard Mandatory Solid Soap, SNI 3532:1994, it shows that soap complies with the SNI 3532:1994 standard.

This study aims to develop multimedia with whiteboard animation techniques to improve students' ability to develop scientific papers. The research method used is research and development (RD). The research and development steps are based on the four-D model, namely the defining stage (define), the design stage (design), the development stage (develop) and the dissemination stage (disseminate). The subjects in this study were Pokjar Cempaka Pati students consisting of 20 students. Data collection in the field was carried out using questionnaires given to non-basic students at the Faculty of Economics who took Scientific Paper courses. The data is analyzed descriptively, that is, it gives meaning to each data collected, and is presented in the form of percentages and graphs. The results showed that (1) based on the assessment of whiteboard animation media validators, it was a range of 82.00% - 96.00% of valid categories, (2) Whiteboard animation media is very effective in increasing understanding in student scientific work courses.

Investment is an economic activity that has the hope of prosperity in the future. The development of investment in financial instruments is increasing due to availability and demand. The Pulp and Paper industry in Indonesia currently has the potential to grow. Financial statement analysis is used to help decision makers. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. by using secondary data obtained from the Annual Report obtained from the IDX website and the website of the company being sampled. The population in this study is the Pulp and Paper Industry which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the financial statements for the period 2013 to 2017. The sample in this study is 5 companies consisting of: PT. Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper, Tbk (INKP), PT. Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk (INRU), PT. Paper Basuki Rachmat Indonesia, Tbk (KBRI), PT. Alkindo Naratama, Tbk (ALDO) and PT. Fajar Surya Wisesa, Tbk (FASW). The results of the study recommend investors to choose the Pulp and Paper industry, because it has the potential to grow and develop. This is supported by campaigns and movements to reduce the use of single-use products, which of course can directly affect the demand for paper needs in the future and will automatically increase and increase paper prices.

Lean manufacturing (LM) is established as a best practice to improve the performance of manufacturing industries. Not all the manufacturing industries realize the benefits of LM practices specifically continuous process industries. The present research work is intended to study the advantages of implementing LM practices in an ethical paper industry which is a continuous production industry. Presently, the industry suffers with the problems such as lack of productivity, raw material wastes, underutilized resources, and lack of standard practices in the production. Gemba technique is adapted to record the information related to the present manufacturing environment. Based on the current state analysis, the feasible lean tools are selected and implemented such as 5S, Kaizen, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). The improvements have been noted as reduced tool change over time, reduced material wastes, effective utilization of resources and provide safety guidelines to workers and operations. The implications of these improvements increased the productivity also.

The purpose of this study was to develop an android-based PCT (Paper Chromatography Techniques) practicum media with QR code technology on mixed separation materials to help improve the quality of learning, especially in general chemistry practicum courses. This development is carried out using a 4D (four-D) research design, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. At the definition stage, the formulation of the practicum objectives is carried out, the design stage is carried out by designing practicum media, while at the development stage the practicum media content validation is carried out by media experts and material experts, the dissemination stage is carried out through e-learning at Bengkulu University. The distribution of practicum media is carried out after the media is declared valid by the validator, namely material experts and media experts. The practicum media validation score by material experts is 70 which is in the "Eligible" category, while the validation results by media experts get 52 which is in the "Eligible" category. The results of the feasibility assessment of practicum media by students also showed results that were in the "appropriate" category with a conversion value of 31.93. Student responses to the PCT practicum media show an average score of 207.5 with a conversion value of 3.98 in the "agree" category. This can be interpreted that in general students agree with the aspects contained in the PCT practicum media so that the PCT media developed can be used in the learning process.

Limited knowledge to determine the use and purpose of the two tunings has not been proven by scientific research. Research to find precise tuning for standard bow, recurve, and compound rounds to improve archery accuracy. This type of research is quantitative experimental research with a two-group pretest posttest design. The sample consists of 24 athletes who are given treatment in 16 meetings. The instrument used is a test scoring archery at a distance of 40m. The collected data will be tested for normality using the Kolmogorov Smirnov technique and the homogeneity test using the Levene statistic technique with a significant level of 5% (p>0.05). Hypothesis testing uses paired samples t-test technique. The results this study indicate (a) there is an effect of walk back tuning increasing archery accuracy of archery athletes, (b) there is an effect of paper tuning training increasing archery accuracy of archery athletes, (c) there is different effect between walk back tuning and paper tuning increasing archery accuracy of archery athletes, where walk back tuning exercises have a greater effect on increasing archery accuracy in archery athletes. This research is expected to be source of reference for athletes and coaches to explore the bow tuning method.

Wastewater in an industry which is often called liquid waste is a by-product produced by several human activities. Liquid waste pollution from industrial effluents containing lead (Pb) in dug well water used by the community for daily needs can cause poisoning and health complaints. This study aims to determine the content of lead (Pb) in the liquid waste stream and well water as well as public health complaints around the pulp and paper industry. This type of research was descriptive with the observational method. Liquid waste from the paper and pulp industry is known to contain heavy metal type lead (Pb), if it pollutes the environment around the industry it can cause various negative impacts for the community. There were 2 samples of dug well water 90 meters that have lead content above the quality standard, namely in well 8 and well 10 with lead content of 2,998 mg/L and 4,247 mg/L while for other dug well water it did not exceed the threshold value with results below 0.0085 mg/L. Based on the results of interviews with 40 respondents, most of the respondents who used dug well 8 and well 10 water experienced health complaints such as skin redness and itching on the hands and arms, and the most experienced redness, itching, and hot eyes after using dug well water contaminated with lead (Pb).

COVID-19 merupakan virus yang telah menyebar dan menjadi pandemi. Salah satu upaya untuk mencegah COVID-19 adalah dengan gerakan masyarakat sehat dengan mencuci tangan, menjaga jarak dan memakai masker. Namun, kebiasaan tersebut belum menjadi budaya yang mengakar di masyarakat sehingga dibutuhkan suatu langkah praktis namun sistematis untuk ikut serta berperan membangun masyarakat. Desa Sumberberas Kecamatan Muncar Banyuwangi merupakan salah satu Desa dengan aktivitas ekonomi yang padat namun masyarakat sekitar masih acuh dengan protocol kesehatan dengan berbagai alasan. Mengatasi masalah ini, disusun program kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yaitu pembuatan paper soap dari bunga pacar air sebagai salah satu solusi membiasakan kebiasan baru di masyarakat, selain itu juga mengevaluasi kebiasaan mencuci tangan dengan hand washing chart bagi anak-anak serta pemberian smart kit pada akhir tahapan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode penyuluhan, serta pelatihan secara door to door dengan melibatkan ibu rumah tangga sebagai sasaran. Implikasi kegiatan ini yaitu masyarakat sadar untuk selalu menerapkan protocol kesehatan dan paper soap juga dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif menambah pendapatan secara kreatif di era pandemi COVID 19.

This study aimed to describe the worksheet's appearance and analyze the worksheet's validation test result based on POE (Predict, Observe, Explain). This research's objectives were to describe the development of a worksheet used in creating indicator papers from Aerva sanguinolenta plants and analyze the feasibility test result on its format. The stages of developing worksheets consist of preparation (define) the stage by analyzing research literature on indicator papers from Aerva sanguinolenta, planning stage by designing laboratory activities in worksheets, and development stage by conducting trials on worksheet products. The worksheet's feasibility was then tested. The results were validated with the average r-count value from the validators of 0.92, the average feasibility value percentage of 92%, the average r-count value from the students of 0.93, and the average feasibility value percentage of 93%. Therefore, the worksheet can be used as a learning aid for students in conducting experiments.

This research is about the application of Bacterial nano cellulose (BNC) as a reinforcing material in the making of liner test paper. BNC was obtained from the fermentation of banana peel extract using Gluconacetobacter xylinum bacteria obtained from the making starter of nata de coco. The reason for using banana peel waste is because it’s available in large number all across Indonesia. BNC is mixed with secondary fiber as a raw material for making liner test paper. From the experimental handsheets results, strength properties and absorption properties were then tested. Variations in the composition of the use of BNC are 0% (blank), 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% of the handsheet dry weight. The BNC is also applicated on surface sizing as a substitute for the surface sizing agent. The results of this study indicate that BNC can be used as an alternative raw material on wet end and on surface sizing, because both applications can increase the strength properties of liner test paper, and can reduce the use of chemical additive. The highest increase in strength properties of liner test paper was obtained at the composition of nano cellulose 30% and using surface sizing. Ring crush index is 14.02 Nm / g, concora index is 12.73 Nm / g, bursting index is 3.78 KPa.m² / g, ply bonding is 388.57 J / m². The absorption properties of paper increases but it has a low prosity. The highest cobb size results are obtained at 30% BNC composition, which is 45.30 g / m2 without using surface sizing and 41.83 g / m² using surface sizing. The highest porosity value is obtained at 30% BNC composition, which is 158 s / 100cc using surface sizing. This research is expected to be a reference for further research in the field of BNC, as the alternative raw materials besides wood in paper making.

Our dependency towards wood has reduced the number of forests especially in Indonesia. Hence, many people tried to use another material as a replacement of wood. One of them is composite. Department of Industrial Engineering Universitas Sebelas Maret has developed paper-based composite using newspaper waste in Praktikum Perancangan Teknik Industri (PPTI) II. Unfortunately, the quality of composite is not so good. This paper tried to understand the effect of factors to responses and discover the best combination of factors to obtain the best responses. The responses of this experiment are tensile strength, bending strength and impact value. The factors of this experiment are paper pulp, PVAc glue and water. Taguchi method is used to find the appropriate orthogonal array and Particle Swarm Optimization method to find the optimum combination of the factors. Orthogonal array used in this experiment is L9 (34). Through analysis, all of the factors are significant to tensile and bending strength, but they are not significant to impact value. The best combination of factors is 175 grams paper pulp, 130 grams PVAc glue and 175 ml water. Optimum results obtained for tensile strength is 0.7595 N/mm2, bending strength is 4.873 N/mm2 and impact value is 0.0138 J/mm2.

Perkembangan zaman yang diikuti dengan perkembangan teknologi telah menawarkan berbagai kemudahan dalam hal administrasi tes. Salah satunya adalah administrasi tes berbasis komputer atau yang lazim dinamakan dengan Computer Based Test (CBT). CBT dikembangkan untuk menjadi alternatif penyelenggaraan tes dengan menggunakan Paper and Pencil Test (PPT). Secara praktis CBT memiliki banyak keuntungan dibanding dengan PPT namun perbandingan mengenai properti psikometris pada kedua bentuk tes ini masih perlu ditelaah lebih lanjut. Penelitian mengenai paralelisme kedua model administrasi tes ini belum banyak dilakukan, terutama pada tes-tes yang dikembangkan oleh Fakultas Psikologi UGM seperti Tes Potensi Akademik Pascasarjana (PAPs). Analisis pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengikutsertakan taraf kesukaran dan daya diskriminasi menggunakan pendekatan Item Response Theory (IRT), indeks ketepatan model dan struktur pengukuran sebagai bukti validitas konstruk. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Tes PAPs secara umum tergolong memiliki kesetaraan pada parameter taraf kesukaran butir, daya diskriminasi butir dan tingkat ketepatan butir ketika disajikan dalam bentuk CBT dan PPT. Sehingga, Tes PAPs ke depannya dapat disajikan dalam kedua bentuk tersebut secara bergantian.

Borax is a dangerous material if it is contained in food so its use is prohibited. Borax contained in wet noodles is used as a preservative to keep the noodles supple and durable. There are reports in several areas in Tangerang about the content of borax in food, but no research has been conducted in the Sepatan Market, Tangerang Regency. Identification of borax by qualitative test using flame test method and curcumin paper color test, while quantitative test using UV-Vis Spectrophotometry method with a wavelength of 536.40 nm. Two of the total samples tested using ultraviolet visible spectrophotometric instruments showed negative borax content when compared to the flame test and curcumin paper color test. Wet noodle samples sold at Pasar Sepatan, Tangerang Regency, showed a positive content of Borax at 85.71% of the total sample.

Borax as a food additive chemical is very dangerous. Borax is prohibited from being used in food because it can cause various diseases such as cancer, kidney damage, and even death. This study aims to identify the borax content in the meatballs sold in Meulaboh City. The study design uses purposive sampling with a total of 20 meatball samples from each seller collected and continued by a qualitative test using turmeric paper and shallot extract. The study results show that all samples tested were free of borax. This can be seen from the absence of changes in turmeric paper and shallot extract. Therefore, it can be concluded that the meatballs sold in Meulaboh do not contain borax and are safe to consume.

Purpose - Technology development is getting faster, especially in the scope of education. The existence of increasingly advanced technology is a challenge to digital literacy competence in students, especially in writing scientific papers. This study aims to reveal the importance of mastering digital literacy in supporting the process of writing scientific papers for students. Method - The researcher used a qualitative descriptive method. The primary data in this study are the results of observations and interviews on the scientific writing habits of postgraduate students at the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang in utilizing digital media. Findings - The result of this study is that the existence of digital literacy is very supportive of student scientific writing. The impact felt by students related to the competence of digital literacy in writing scientific papers is that 1) writing scientific papers becomes better and more effective because they can easily get references through digital journal portals; 2) learning anywhere becomes practical because there is no need to carry many books to move places; 3) improving the ability to find information; 4) improving analytical skills; and 5) improving critical thinking skills. Research Implications - The limitation of this research is that it has not fully revealed the supporting and inhibiting factors of digital literacy in the process of writing student scientific papers.

As one of the largest wastewater producers in the world, the pulp and paper industry need to monitor the waste that they generated. To carry out this monitoring process, the majority of the pulp and paper industry still uses conventional offline methods to measure parameters in their wastewater treatment plants. The monitoring procedure is carried out by taking samples from the factory wastewater treatment plant and testing these samples in the laboratory. This procedure is very prone to errors caused by human. This method also cannot detect any violation, problem, or disturbance of the wastewater parameters in real time. In addition, in 2018, the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry issued a regulation requiring the pulp and paper industry to use a real-time online monitoring system for its wastewater treatment plant. This paper presents an implementation of the system. There are several parameters that must be measured, two of them are pH and TSS (Total Suspended Solids). To measure these parameters, the regulation states that the online measurement system is carried out using the relevant electric probe sensor. Then the measurement results are displayed online on a specified platform hence that users can observe the results. This implementation uses a pH sensor to measure pH and a conductivity sensor to measure TSS. A conductivity sensor is used as a substitute due to the high cost of TSS sensor. This article analyses also the accuracy of the measurement.

Personality may affect our way to learn. Based on the important role of different personality types in the foreign language learning process and in mastering a foreign language, this study aims at investigating through the impact of extroversion and introversion personality impact on English as Foreign Language learners’ preferences in publishing research papers. Fifty students are taking part in this study. Those participants are the fifth-semester students of Universitas Tidar who take Teaching English as a Foreign Language class. They have many papers from any lecture. They can produce more than three research papers in a year. Publishing their papers still become interesting topics for them. The researcher uses descriptive qualitative method to get the result. By giving a questionnaire to all of the participants to find out their personality types and then asking about their preferences in publishing research papers. Based on the findings, the researcher gets the main result, there are more extroverts of English as Foreign Language Learners than the introvert one. They could give wide perspectives about publishing their papers. Their perspectives on their preferences depend on any reason that supports the result.

Vaccine is the best way to tackle the virus outbreak, because vaccines could reprogram immunity systems to create their own antibodies. Muslims are obliged to consume only halal product. Vaccine needed to follow halal standardization to be used in Islamic countries. This study has a purpose to observe the connection between halal and vaccine in research papers indexed by Scopus website. This study uses papers indexed in Scopus website as secondary data. There are two kinds of data, based on the organization of co-authorship, and co-occurrence of authors’ topic. There are 46 numbers of data the organization of co-authorship and 68 of co-occurrence of authors’ topic. The data is analyzed using Vosviewer software. The result shows that topic of vaccine has connection to halal and fatwa/ or ulama council’s statement. Thus, non muslim countries such as USA and Australia have more relevance points than Muslim countries. Based on the keywords, there are topic about vaccine and COVID-19. In can be concluded that halal and vaccine is intertwined each other, especially in muslim countries.

This study aims to explain the competence of lecturers as a supervisor for the final paper in the Office Administration Study Program of Universitas Indonesia (UI). This research approach used is a quantitative method, which focuses on the use of numbers, tables, and graphs to display the results of the data obtained. To obtain data, the authors distribute questionnaires with several questions to the object of research. This research population is the class student 2016 of the office administration study program who worked on the final paper (tugas karya akhir or TKA). Four aspects of competency were tested in this study: Pedagogical Competency, Professional Competency, Social Competency, and Personality Competency. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the lecturers of the Office Administration Study Program in UI as supervisor the final paper is categorized as competent.

A good quality control system is important to be implemented to increase productivity and minimize defects in products. One of the quality control methods is failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA). This study uses the FMEA to identify the causes of the defects and recommend the prevention methods to overcome the causes of the defects in an Indonesian paper mill. The risk priority number (RPN) is calculated by multiplying the severity, occurrence, and detection of the failures that have been determined. Unsymmetrical and tainted products are the most dominant defects in the paper mill. An inappropriate machine setting is the cause of unsymmetrical products with the highest RPN of 343. The second highest RPN is problems with bleaching machines that caused tainted products with an RPN value of 216. This study offers suggestions to Indonesian paper mill to prevent and minimize defective products.

PT Pura Barutama Unit Paper Mill 5, 6, 9 adalah salah satu anak perusahaan dari Pura Group dimana unit tersebut beroperasi dalam memproduksi kertas. Dalam melakukan peniliaian kinerja karyawan dalam unit tersebut, digunakanlah sebuah Sistem Pendukung Keputusan dengan Metode Simple Addtive Weighting (SAW). Akan tetapi, terkadang sulit untuk menentukan batas minimal nilai yang baik pada hasil penilaian dengan metode SAW yang telah berjalan, dikarenakan hasil penilaian karyawan antara satu sama lain tidak jauh berbeda. Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) adalah model yang sering digunakan untuk mengambil keputusan yang memiliki beberapa kriteria yang harus dipertimbangkan. TOPSIS adalah salah satu dari metode MCDM pada Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) yang populer yang sudah digunakan dibanyak bidang. Salah satunya adalah bidang human resource seperti penilaian kinerja karyawan. Metode SAW juga adalah satu metode MCDM yang sering digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan hasil akhir nilai preferensi dan urutan peringkat dari penilaian kinerja karyawan dengan metode TOPSIS dan SAW pada perusahaan PT Pura Barutama Unit Paper Mill 5, 6, 9. Hasil akhir menunjukan bahwa metode TOPSIS memiliki nilai preferensi yang lebih variatif dibandingkan dengan metode SAW. Walaupun perbedaan peringkat yang dihasilkan oleh kedua metode tidak terlalu berbeda, tetapi metode TOPSIS bisa dijadikan alternatif pengganti metode yang digunakan dalam penilaian kinerja karyawan pada PT Pura Barutama Unit Paper Mill 5, 6, 9.

It is essential to manage waste in an integrated manner, beginning at the domestic and village levels. In fact, there are still a significant number of residents who throw trash carelessly. Jurangjero village, a village in Klaten Regency, Central Java, is an example of a village that does not adequately manage its waste. In addition, the village has agricultural waste issues that require optimal utilization, including rice straw. This community service program aims to increase public awareness of organic and inorganic domestic waste management and agricultural waste management so that they can be applied appropriately to the concept of the green village. The program’s methods included field observations, waste management outreach, and training. The training included the creation of organic fertilizers, eco-bricks, plastic waste containers, and straw paper. Farmer groups and farmer women’s groups have gained an understanding of the management of domestic organic waste into organic fertilizer and compost as a result of the outreach and training activities. Karangtaruna has also gained an understanding of inorganic waste management by applying the recycling concept, which entails transforming plastic refuse into plastic pots and ecobricks. They have also grasped the production of economically valuable art paper from rice stalks. The descriptive analysis revealed that the average pre-test and posttest scores were 55.58 and 76.67, respectively. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that this community service program has increased residents’ knowledge of managing domestic and agricultural waste to create valuable products. The support of the village administration is required for sustainable waste management and the continuation of empowerment initiatives.

Borassus flabellifer L., one of the palm-based commodities in Indonesia which is grows in dry areas especially around the north coast of Java Island. An abundant waste of this plant is a leaf midrib and fruit fiber have an opportunity as a source of lignocellulose for the paper industry. In this study, Kraft paper production was conducted to know the influence of the proportion of Borassus flabellifer L. leaf midrib pulp and fruit fiber pulp, and the concentration of Polyvinyl Acetate (PVAc) adhesives on the sensory and physical quality of kraft paper. The research method used was Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two factors. The Friedman test was used to determine the sensory quality of kraft paper. The physical quality of kraft paper was used ANOVA analysis. The results showed that the treatment of raw material proportion and PVAc adhesive concentration had significant effect on color, surface texture, yield, and tensile resistance, but not significantly different between treatment of gramature and tear resistance. The best treatment of sensory tests was kraft paper with proportion of leaf midrib pulp 50% and fruit fiber pulp 50% and a 7.5% PVAc adhesive concentration. It has a yield value of 72.11%, gramature of 162.80 g/m2, tensile strength of 1.70 %, and tear resistance of 197.6 gf.
