Efforts to increase the quality of this environment have been going on since the beginning of the concern for shelter in the history of humanity. The main targets of the user, designers, practitioners, and decision-makers are to carry the quality of life, health, safety, and welfare of individuals and other living things to the next level. Problems have been identified to increase the function and quality of the space, spatial requirements have been determined, and researched, and some design factors have been determined to reach the most appropriate solution. The researchers focused on the proposition that the effectiveness of these factors before and during the design process would increase the quality of the space. However, since research generally focuses on indoor quality, the outdoor quality factors that are part of urban design are not clear. This work, was designed to evaluate the usability of these factors, which were determined and measured especially to deal with the interior, in designs at larger scales (street, neighborhood, city...) and to improve the existing. In designs outside the spatial scale, where almost all factors can be controlled by the relevant stakeholders of the process, the subject is approached through changeable and unchangeable parameters and their balancing. Studies on the factors determined during the process were compiled and their effects on different scales were evaluated as a result of these compilations. As a result of the evaluation, some suggestions were given. In the process of redesigning the space, selecting feasible suggestions, and incorporating them into the creation of the future physical space, using the suggestions as urban rehabilitation tools, and considering these interventions to be flexible and suitable for various factors are of great importance for the psychology of the users. Color has the function of conveying information and presenting psychological feelings. Different space colors are matched with 3D models to present different interior design styles. The interior space color is a 3D color expression. Psychological perception effects. The theme of this study is the color matching emotion of interior space design color, and the 3D model design and bedroom design experiment is used to study the emotional design elements and various emotional evaluations of 3D model design and bedroom color. It is divided into 2 experiments: Experiment 1, The most suitable 3D model design furniture experiment, test the most suitable 4 kinds of 3D model design samples. Experiment 2, Bedroom color suitability experiment, study the most suitable bedroom color, and finally experiment and analyze the results to determine the most suitable bedroom color design. The research results show that the most suitable bedroom room color design is Cream, followed by Dark gray, Baby blue, and Pale Denim. Although this study takes 3D model and bedroom as the experimental object, the results of the experiment have more theoretical and practical reference basis for the future color and furniture style design of other interior spaces, and provide reference directions for researchers. Interaction between the users and their environment is spontaneous and unavoidable. This interaction can be positive or negative. A good interior space is about considering all the physical, environmental and cognitive elements and harmonizing them to make it a space that feels right, functionally and emotionally. The important element that has to be considered the most in an interior space is the 'user'. Balancing all these elements is a challenging job and results in a perfect interior space design. This paper intends to bring to light the necessity of designing an optimum interior space, which is a balance of the user's choice and the mandatory standards that ought to be followed for user safety and convenience. The rapid development of artificial intelligence technology is gradually penetrating into multiple fields such as interior design and spatial planning. The aim of this study is to integrate artificial intelligence with interior design, enhance design artistry and user experience, and address the interactive needs of interior space design choices. A set of indoor space design recognition system has been designed by introducing artificial intelligence networks and attention mechanisms. This study first optimizes the CenterNet algorithm based on attention mechanism and feature fusion to improve its accuracy in identifying complex components. Afterwards, the long short-term memory network and convolutional neural network are trained to complete the task of spatial layout feature recognition and design. The performance test results showed that after testing 100 images, the software could recognize indoor design space images and create corresponding vector format space maps in about 5 minutes, providing them to the 3D modeling interface to generate 3D scenes. Compared to the approximately 25 minutes required by manual methods, the design efficiency has been significantly improved. The research and design method has a fast convergence speed and low loss during the retraining process. In simulation testing, its mAP value reached 91.0%, higher than similar models. It performs better in detecting walls, doors and windows, bay windows, double doors, and two-way doors. Moreover, it has outstanding ability when facing structures such as short walls and door corners, and can recognize and create vector format spatial maps within 5 minutes, which is accurate and efficient. The system designed in this project has optimized the interaction between designers and clients in interior design, accurately capturing user intentions and assisting designers in improving work efficiency. Based on bioscience technology in hospital interior space design, this paper proposes strategies for spatial attributes and light environment healing pro-biological design of multiple sites, as well as strategies for system spatial layout system design and spatial balance material and color tone design in overall spatial system design. As for the design of medical space guidance system, the design methods of biorhythmic and bio-emotional perception of guidance are explored through the hierarchical division of visual space guidance visual field and hospital guidance system. The results show that with the design strategy based on bioscience technology, the fit R2 value of spatial comprehensibility is about 0.6351, which is 0.3413 higher than the original scheme. With the further development of the social economy, people pay more attention to spiritual and cultural needs. This paper analyzes the basic theory of image style transfer through image style transfer technology, Gram matrix, and Poisson image editing technology and designs images from several aspects such as image segmentation, content loss, enhanced style loss, and Poisson image editing constrained image spatial gradient. Tea rooms hold a significant place in Chinese culture, serving as spaces for social interaction and spiritual reflection. Tea consumption in Hebei Province has continued to rise, leading to an increase in the number of tea rooms. This study explores how Zen aesthetics are incorporated into the design of tea rooms in Hebei, with a focus on how minimalist principles reflect cultural and spiritual values. Renowned for its rich heritage, Hebei has become a key region where Zen elements such as the use of natural materials and harmonious spatial layouts are seamlessly integrated into tea room interiors. This study employs qualitative methods, including a literature review, field observations, and visual documentation, to assess the aesthetic and functional characteristics of Zen-style tea rooms. The findings reveal that Zen aesthetics greatly enhance the user experience by fostering tranquillity and harmony, catering to the increasing demand for spiritual calm and a connection with nature in modern life. Additionally, the findings highlight that tea rooms serve as sanctuaries for emotional and cultural relief, symbolising personal peace and elevated social status. In interior interaction design, achieving intelligent user-interior interaction is contingent upon understanding the user's emotional responses. Precise identification of the user's visual emotions holds paramount importance. Current visual emotion recognition methods rely solely on singular features, predominantly facial expressions, resulting in inadequate coverage of visual characteristics and low recognition rates. This study introduces a deep learning-based multimodal weighting network model to address this challenge. The model initiates with a convolutional attention module, employing a self-attention mechanism within a convolutional neural network (CNN). As a result, the multimodal weighting network model is integrated to optimize weights during training. Finally, a weight network classifier is derived from these optimized weights to facilitate visual emotion recognition. Experimental outcomes reveal a 77.057% correctness rate and a 74.75% accuracy rate in visual emotion recognition. Comparative analysis against existing models demonstrates the superiority of the multimodal weight network model, showcasing its potential to enhance human-centric and intelligent indoor interaction design. Purpose: This study aims to develop an all-encompassing model to analyse various aspects of atmospherics, including components of the museum space and its physical surroundings. Moreover, it evaluates whether the identified attributes of the "museumscape" affect the positive word of mouth of museum visitors. Design/methodology/approach: This exploratory study adopts a quantitative methodology. Data were collected through direct interviews with visitors at three Italian art museums and through a structured questionnaire. All dimensions were measured with multiple items on a five-point Likert scale. To assess the influence of the museumscape attributes on positive word of mouth, a structural equation model is performed adopting the two-stage testing procedure estimating the measurement model in the first stage and running a confirmatory factor analysis to assess reliability and demonstrate convergent and discriminant validity for all multi-item measures. Findings: Six attributes of the museumscape are delineated (ambient conditions; facilities and convenience; signs and signage; staff behaviour; art gallery quality; exhibition space aesthetics). The latter three positively influence visitors' positive word of mouth. Research limitations/implications: The study expands frameworks from previous service museum marketing research in general and service museum research on atmospherics in particular. The framework developed here identifies the direct predictive power of museumscape cues on positive museum visitor's word of mouth, thus increasing knowledge of the customer service experience and service quality and atmospherics management. Practical implications: The constructs discovered here may help museum managers to carefully design and manage the museumscape to enhance visitors' satisfaction and loyalty. Indoor air quality (IAQ) has a significant impact on human health, as people spend 90% of their time in various indoor environments. Therefore, research on IAQ is extremely necessary. However, current research on traditional Qiang residences in western Sichuan mainly focuses on the indoor thermal environment and heritage protection, with relatively little attention paid to IAQ. This study investigates the IAQ of traditional Qiang residences in western Sichuan, which have open fire pits as the core of daily life, exploring the impact of passive renovation strategies on the indoor air quality. Using simulation methods, this study employs passive strategies, such as increasing the size of windward windows, changing ventilation methods, relocating the fire pit, and enlarging interior partition openings, to improve and optimize the IAQ through natural ventilation. The results show that when the windward window sizes are 0.8 m × 1.9 m and 0.7 m × 1.55 m, the reduction in the indoor CO2 concentration is the greatest, with a maximum decrease of 0.024% at the 1.5 m plane. This paper proposes passive renovation strategies to improve the indoor air quality of Qiang residences in western Sichuan. These strategies effectively enhance the indoor air quality of Qiang residences and address the research gap on indoor air quality in regional Qiang residences in western Sichuan. The insights and methods presented contribute to the improvement of the indoor air quality in traditional buildings and support the sustainable development of traditional architecture. The living room is a resting space where the family gathers to talk and hold meetings or watch TV to relieve fatigue. In this paper, we will learn about the stable color scheme of this living room(office). Stable color scheme means to have the color scheme and harmony of the living room that is cozy, stable, and emotionally helpful. The colors of the living room are classified into dark brown, medium brown, light brown, natural brown, and gray, and each style is explained by subdividing it into Advanced(Modern) style, Nordic style, and Business(Industrial) style. In other words, we will learn about the characteristics of each classified color and subdivided style. Interior design is born out of architectural design, is the continuation and deepening of architectural design, is the re-creation of indoor space environment. Feng Shui originated in ancient China and is an important part of traditional Chinese culture and an important embodiment of Chinese philosophical thought. Feng Shui is an important law for ancient Chinese people to build houses and buildings, aiming to examine the environment prudently and carefully, conform to nature, utilize and transform nature in a controlled manner, create a good living and survival environment, win the best timing, geographical location and human harmony, and achieve the best state of unity between man and nature. Feng Shui is closely related to the natural environment, and in the ecological environment development needs of modern society, Feng Shui culture can be able to improve the relationship between human beings and nature, guide the creation of a space environment that is in harmony with nature, and improve the quality of life of human beings. Feng Shui culture is compatible and harmonized with the goal of sustainable development of mankind. The recent outbreak of epidemics created health challenges and emerging requirements that revealed weaknesses and increased alerts about the contribution of the existing buildings' design to increasing the possibility of epidemics' spread. Those risks necessitated focusing on designing more effectively resilient buildings to epidemics. The study focuses on improving the safety aspects of existing building design from an architectural design perspective. Therefore, this study proposes a theoretical framework for a set of preventive indicators to evaluate the existing building design as a resilient architectural system in its response to epidemics. These indicators have been identified and selected based on an extensive examination of the literature and the most effective practices for preventing and controlling epidemics. Those preventive indicators covered all the various aspects of the design of the existing building, including the effectiveness of social distancing, indoor air quality, indoor environmental quality, control engineering and preventive. Using these indicators, architecture professionals and policymakers can evaluate the effectiveness of existing buildings in reducing the spread of epidemics and making the necessary improvements to create a more resilient environment. Digital representation of robots as Avatars, called "RoboAvatars," is a premise for value-added construction applications such as simulation, layout design, and task planning. Existing RoboAvatars are described in data schemas predominantly from the robotics community, which prevents their smooth applications in the built environment. To fully unleash the power of robotics, this research aims to develop a Building RoboAvatar by adopting the industry foundation classes (IFC) as the de facto standard in the building industry. First, the Building RoboAvatar is defined from a built environment perspective, and then substantiated with IFC. A translator called RoboIFCTrans is developed to facilitate the exploitation of the numerous readily available RoboAvatars represented by the Unified Robot Description Format. Experiments demonstrated the effectiveness of Building RoboAvatar in representing robot information needed for the built environment, which encompasses the "whole-part" robot structure and properties in terms of productivity, capability, etc. The RoboIFCTrans can accurately generate IFC representations of diverse robots (TurtleBot, UR-5, Diablo) within 41.9 s. Practical implications of the IFC-based Building RoboAvatars were illustrated by two use cases. The research contributes to building a "Tower of Babel" between the construction and robotics communities. Accurately predicting homeowners' aesthetic preferences is crucial in interior design. This study develops a fine-tuning model (LORA) for interior design styles corresponding to different MBTI personality types, leveraging the Stable Diffusion Web UI platform and integrating it into a generative artificial intelligence framework. Subsequently, personalized aesthetic preference architectural interior renderings are recommended based on homeowners' personality traits, aiming to achieve an adaptive interior design approach. To achieve more precise adaptive solutions, this research surveys the style and color tendencies of respondents with different MBTI personality types and adds style description prompts to assist in image generation. The study finds that this method can better predict the interior design styles favored by certain MBTI personality types. This research contributes to addressing aesthetic biases between designers and homeowners, bringing innovative ideas and methods to interior design, and is expected to enhance homeowners' satisfaction. In this study, parametric design with set of numerical parameters of trawler yachts design and modeling are presented. This parametric design is utilized to find a superstructure form and interior space design by considering hull, superstructure, lower deck, staircases and cocpit area. Within the scope of this study, the design phases are based on the desire to achieve a faster and more accurate result by creating a design process sequence according to the determined yacht typology. Based on the numerical values of the yacht form, it is aimed to make the superstructure and interior designs suitable for the desired typology. This study attempts to visualize trawler typology as a step to be taken by automatically modeling the desired typology. The increasingly shortened development cycle of smart vehicles has led to a qualitative shift in the nature of automotive products. Growing spatial design of vehicle interiors can effectively satisfy users' personalisation preferences and increase their willingness to buy, as well as mitigating the environmental pollution caused by the problem of rapid replacement. Considering the subjectivity and uncertainty of users' emotional needs, this study adopts the FAHP method to comprehensively analyse and rank the SET series of factors, then combines the grey correlation method with the correlation analysis of the areas related to the interior space of the automobile, constructs the sample of the interior space of the automobile and extracts the kansei words of the space sample. Intentional vocabulary mean scores were calculated to factor analyses through kansei engineering, next the fuzzy QFD quality house was built to make affective semantic design associations and derive design weights, which are then used to guide the design and ultimately realise the design of a dynamic automotive interaction scenario. The results of the study show that the integration of different theories can reduce the uncertainties in accessing users' emotional needs. At the same time, it can provide systematic guidance for the interaction design of a growable automobile in terms of multiple dimensions of interior space connectivity, spatial layout, and perceptual experience, as well as provide valuable suggestions for the subsequent development of interior spaces. n the Interior Architecture Design Studio, students often struggle with thinking and decision- making affecting the quality of their design outcomes. This compels the quest of understanding ‘collage’ as a tool for critical thinking, during conceptualising in the design process. There is limited literature related to this connection and a gap is felt in comparing the ‘collaging’ with the ‘critical thinking skills’. This research investigates ‘collage’ by reviewing the literature to understand its connection with architecture. Architect Tatiana Bilbao’s case studies, who uses collages over renderings provide a new perspective towards collaging. A study conducted at the 3rd year Interior Architecture Design Studio at a University in Ahmedabad, India, investigates collage’s effectiveness in decision-making when students use collage. The study is limited to collaging and model-making and does not explore other tools. It establishes collage’s effectiveness by contributing an approach that focuses on critical thinking for decision-making to achieve better quality designs in architecture and interior academia and practice. The academic performance and outcomes of students are significantly impacted by the architecture of educational institutions. When designing learning spaces, two important considerations are the size of the room and the elevation opening percentage that describe how much daylight enters the space through windows. Previous studies showed that these factors have an important effect on student learning performance. This study explores the link between elevation opening percentage and space proportions in educational institutions. In order to assess daylight dispersal in a classroom in Lebanon that faced north--the direction required for the nation's best solar exposure--a quantitative approach utilizing modelling software was employed. The investigation looked at four various room dimensions with ratios of 1:1, 1:1.5, 1:2, and 1:3, as well as six different height opening percentages varied from 10% to 100%. The simulations additionally demonstrated that the proportion of windows open has a noteworthy effect on natural light dispersion, with larger percentages leading to more uniform light distribution. In recent years, research on building perception has increasingly become a hot topic. More and more scholars have explored the user perceptions of the built environment and guided the design through the perception results. The technical method of emotional engineering can quantify people's emotions and facilitate the exploration of users' perceptions in the built environment. However, most of the existing research is empirical, and there is no article to review the interdisciplinary direction of architecture and emotional engineering. This review uses the PRISMA method to conduct a systematic literature review of 147 studies on building environment assessment using emotional engineering methods, and discusses the relationship between the building environment and humans, especially in terms of emotions, cognition, behavior, and physiology. Through a systematic literature review, the theoretical basis of emotional architecture is put forward. It constructs the interactive mode and theoretical framework of emotional architecture and reveals that the combination of artificial intelligence, big data and machine learning may be the new direction of emotional architecture research in the future.
