Biomacromolecular networks, crucial components of biological systems, are of great importance in biological and nanomedical science, in which the interfaces between nanoparticle and macromolecular networks are intriguing and drawing great attention. Herein, this review seeks to present the state‐of‐art progress and perspective of the dynamic behaviors, confinement and entropy at the nanoparticle‐biomacromolecular network interfaces. The basic biomacromolecular networks in living systems, recent research on networks with dynamic bonds and various diffusion behaviors of nanoparticles within biomacromolecular networks are summarized. In particular, entropic effects in the confined environments of biological networks are discussed, along with how they impact the mechanical properties and dynamical behaviors. The interesting research and findings included in this review might offer the scientific community a better understanding of how this field has developed thus far, and are anticipated to trigger more systematic and fundamental research to elucidate the underlying physics and broaden the potential applications of macromolecular networks, biological and artificial. Convolutional neural networks depend on deep network architectures to extract accurate information for image super‐resolution. However, obtained information of these convolutional neural networks cannot completely express predicted high‐quality images for complex scenes. A dynamic network for image super‐resolution (DSRNet) is presented, which contains a residual enhancement block, wide enhancement block, feature refinement block and construction block. The residual enhancement block is composed of a residual enhanced architecture to facilitate hierarchical features for image super‐resolution. To enhance robustness of obtained super‐resolution model for complex scenes, a wide enhancement block achieves a dynamic architecture to learn more robust information to enhance applicability of an obtained super‐resolution model for varying scenes. To prevent interference of components in a wide enhancement block, a refinement block utilises a stacked architecture to accurately learn obtained features. Also, a residual learning operation is embedded in the refinement block to prevent long‐term dependency problem. Finally, a construction block is responsible for reconstructing high‐quality images. Designed heterogeneous architecture can not only facilitate richer structural information, but also be lightweight, which is suitable for mobile digital devices. Experimental results show that our method is more competitive in terms of performance, recovering time of image super‐resolution and complexity. Increased aggression due to gaming addiction is a widespread and highly publicized problem. The underlying processes by which verbal aggression, a more harmful and persistent subcategory of aggression, is affected by gaming addiction may differ from other types of aggression. In this study, data came from 252 randomly recruited current university students (50.79% male, mean age 19.60 years, SD: 1.44 years, range 17 to 29 years). Participants reported gaming addiction and different types of aggression through questionnaires. In addition, two important explanatory processes, inhibitory control, and risk preference, were measured through behavioral experiments. A Bayesian hierarchical drift-diffusion model was employed to interpret the data from the risk preference task. In contrast to previous work, the study found that inhibitory control did not significantly correlate with either gaming addiction or any form of aggression However, the drift rate, a measure of decision-making inclination under risk, partially mediates the relationship between gaming addiction and verbal aggression (but not other forms of aggression). The findings illuminate risk preference under adverse conditions as a key predictor of verbal aggression, offering avenues for early intervention and suggesting game design modifications to mitigate verbal aggression by adjusting reward mechanisms. Even though lead halide perovskite has been demonstrated as a promising optoelectronic material for next-generation display applications, achieving high-efficiency and stable pure-red (620~635 nm) emission to cover the full visible wavelength is still challenging. Here, we report perovskite light-emitting diodes emitting pure-red light at 628 nm achieving high external quantum efficiencies of 26.04%. The performance is attributed to successful synthesizing strongly confined CsPbI3 quantum dots with good stability. The strong binding 2-naphthalene sulfonic acid ligands are introduced after nucleation to suppress Ostwald ripening, meanwhile, ammonium hexafluorophosphate exchanges long chain ligands and avoids regrowth by strong binding during the purification process. Both ligands enhance the charge transport ability of CsPbI3 quantum dots. The state-of-the-art synthesis of pure red CsPbI3 quantum dots achieves 94% high quantum efficiency, which can maintain over 80% after 50 days, providing a method for synthesizing stable strong confined perovskite quantum dots. Li et al. report the regulation of perovskite quantum dot growth after nucleation by designing ligand exchange utilising proton transfer. Background: Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (omega-3 PUFAs) exhibit potential as therapeutics for a variety of diseases. This observational and Mendelian randomization (MR) study aims to explore the relationship between omega-3 PUFAs and osteoarthritis (OA). Methods: Excluding individuals under 20 years old and those with missing data on relevant variables in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) spanning from 2003 to 2016, a total of 22 834 participants were included in this cross-sectional study. Weighted multivariable-adjusted logistic regression was used to estimate the association between omega-3 PUFAs and OA in adults. Moreover, restricted cubic splines were utilized to examine the dose-response relationship between omega-3 PUFAs and OA. To further investigate the potential causal relationship between omega-3 PUFAs and OA risk, a two-sample MR study was conducted. Furthermore, the robustness of the findings was assessed using various methods. Results: Omega-3 PUFAs intake were inversely associated with OA in adults aged 40 ∼ 59 after multivariable adjustment , with a nonlinear relationship observed between omega-3 PUFAs intake and OA . The IVW results showed there was no evidence to suggest a causal relationship between omega-3 PUFAs and OA risk . Conclusions: Omega-3 PUFAs were inversely associated with OA in adults aged 40 ∼ 59. Inorganic perovskite quantum dots (QDs) have garnered significant attention due to their outstanding optical properties. However, perovskite quantum dot light‐emitting diodes (Pe‐QLEDs) still face challenges related to their fluorescence efficiency and electron injection. First, the electron transport layer (ETL) leads to severe non‐radiative recombination due to fluorescence quenching in CsPbI3 QDs. Second, there is an electron injection imbalance resulting from low electron injection efficiency, leading to reduced non‐radiative recombination and external quantum efficiency. To address these issues, this study introduces two interface layer materials with different electron affinities, 1,3,5‐Tris(3‐pyridyl‐3‐phenyl)benzene (TmPyPB) and 2,4,6‐Tris(3′‐(pyridine‐3‐yl)biphenyl‐3‐yl)‐1,3,5‐triazine (TmPPPyTz). These materials not only passivated defects on the surface of CsPbI3 QDs films but also effectively prevented the fluorescence quenching of CsPbI3 QDs by the PO‐T2T (ETL). TmPPPyTz, with a relatively lower LUMO energy level, further improved energy level matching, significantly enhancing electron injection efficiency. Ultimately, using interface engineering with the TmPPPyTz interface layer, the devices achieved an outstanding 25.80% champion‐level external quantum efficiency (EQE) for Pe‐QLEDs with only a sub‐bandgap voltage of 1.7 V and half‐life (T50) is 17.99 h at 100 nits. The efficiency and stability issues of perovskite light-emitting diodes, especially at high brightness, need to be urgently solved for displays and lighting applications. Herein we present a simple chemical washing method called solvent sieve to resolve the phase dimension issue of metal halide perovskites. After being sieved, undesirable defect-rich low-n phases are selectively screened out of perovskite multi-quantum-well structures. With better intrinsic structure refinement, the sieved perovskites demonstrated not only a record external quantum efficiency, current efficiency, and T50 lifetime of 29.5%, 127.4 cd A−1, and 18.67 h at 12,000 cd m−2 (the equivalent of over 50,317 h or 5.7 years at 100 cd m−2), respectively, with a maximum luminance of over 147,872.8 cd m−2, but also extraordinary resistance to air and moisture, maintaining over 75% of film photoluminescence quantum yield and 80% of device EQE after being stored at ambience for 100 days. The simple solvent sieve treatment we reported here confirms the feasibility of metal halide perovskites for luminescence and unleashes the efficiency and stability potentials of high-brightness perovskite light-emitting diodes for future commercial applications. Lead sulfide (PbS) colloidal quantum dot (CQD) materials are extensively utilized in the fabrication of near-infrared detectors. Advanced PbS quantum dot infrared detectors often employ ligand exchange processes to enhance the performance of the active layer. This process involves the replacement of long-chain ligands, which exhibit poor conductivity, with short-chain ligands, such as 1,2-ethanedithiol (EDT) in the treatment of PbS. However, conventional solid-state ligand exchange techniques are prone to cause inherent cracking, resulting in significant leakage currents that limit detector sensitivity. To address this challenge, we introduce a copper indium selenium sulfur (CuInSeS) quantum dot interfacial layer, resulting in the creation of a smooth and crack-free film. This method effectively optimizes the interfacial contact between PbS and ZnO. Additionally, this layer concurrently establishes a gradient energy level, facilitating the transport of charge carriers. This results in a decrease in the dark current to 4.6 × 10−8 mA under a −1 V bias, achieving a detectivity of 1.87 × 1012 Jones. The results demonstrate that the quantum dot interfacial layer effectively suppresses the dark current of the detector, addressing the deficiencies associated with the solid-state ligand exchange technique. Hybrid lead halide perovskites have generated increasing attention for their high performance in optoelectronic applications. One main drawback of these materials is the sensitivity to moisture, which contributes heavily to the ultimate decomposition. Here, this study takes advantage of the reported representative white‐light emitting lead bromide perovskite and three‐dimensional (3D) perovskite as the subject of water‐stability study. It is reported here that other than observed phase transformation in one case, the majority of these perovskites break down in water rapidly, precipitating out as an inorganic salt compound Pb3Br6[H2O]·H2O. As these materials are studied in detail, it is discovered that better coverage of the hydrophobic organic cation enhances the water stability. Taking this idea further, it is demonstrated here that five new one‐dimensional (1D) lead bromide compounds have superior water stability, where the longest stability when completely immersed in water is more than one year and counting. This work provides a new mechanism regarding the degradation process when encountering moisture and general guidelines to increase the water stability for the lead bromide hybrids. Core–shell perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) have emerged as a promising class of materials for optoelectronic applications due to their unique properties and stability. Although much research has been conducted on the shell growth mechanism and properties of the core–shell NCs, little is known about the role of shell thickness in determining their optical properties. Herein, a heteroepitaxial method is employed to prepare a series of core–shell FAPbBr3/CsPbBr3 NCs with different shell thicknesses. Through temperature‐dependent photoluminescence measurement, it is found that the electronic structure of core–shell FAPbBr3/CsPbBr3 NCs evolves from quasi‐type‐II to type‐I with the increase in shell thickness. This abnormal transition can be attributed to the thickened gradient alloy layer FA1‐xCsxPbBr3, which effectively relieves the lattice mismatch and releases strain in the NCs, resulting in variations in the bandgap between the core and the shell. Furthermore, the biexciton Auger lifetimes in these samples exhibit a non‐monotonic dependence on shell thickness, indicating the electronic structure transition. These results provide valuable insights into the relationship between shell thickness, electronic structure, and optical properties in core–shell perovskite NCs, which may offer guidance for the design of high‐performance optoelectronic devices. Highlights: A new proton-promoted in situ ligand exchange strategy based on CsPbI3 quantum dots. The ligand exchange strategy maintains the quantum confinement effect of quantum dots and significantly improves the stability and photophysical properties of CsPbI3 quantum dots. The performance of light-emitting diodes based on CsPbI3 quantum dots is significantly improved, the external quantum efficiency is increased from 18.63% to 24.45%, and the half-operational lifetime is increased by 70 times. CsPbI3 perovskite quantum dots (QDs) are ideal materials for the next generation of red light-emitting diodes. However, the low phase stability of CsPbI3 QDs and long-chain insulating capping ligands hinder the improvement of device performance. Traditional in-situ ligand replacement and ligand exchange after synthesis were often difficult to control. Here, we proposed a new ligand exchange strategy using a proton-prompted in-situ exchange of short 5-aminopentanoic acid ligands with long-chain oleic acid and oleylamine ligands to obtain stable small-size CsPbI3 QDs. This exchange strategy maintained the size and morphology of CsPbI3 QDs and improved the optical properties and the conductivity of CsPbI3 QDs films. As a result, high-efficiency red QD-based light-emitting diodes with an emission wavelength of 645 nm demonstrated a record maximum external quantum efficiency of 24.45% and an operational half-life of 10.79 h. Transport of rodlike particles in confinement environments of macromolecular networks plays crucial roles in many important biological processes and technological applications. The relevant understanding has been limited to thin rods with diameter much smaller than network mesh size, although the opposite case, of which the dynamical behaviors and underlying physical mechanisms remain unclear, is ubiquitous. Here, we solve this issue by combining experiments, simulations and theory. We find a nonmonotonic dependence of translational diffusion on rod length, characterized by length commensuration-governed unconventionally fast dynamics which is in striking contrast to the monotonic dependence for thin rods. Our results clarify that such a fast diffusion of thick rods with length of integral multiple of mesh size follows sliding dynamics and demonstrate it to be anomalous yet Brownian. Moreover, good agreement between theoretical analysis and simulations corroborates that the sliding dynamics is an intermediate regime between hopping and Brownian dynamics, and provides a mechanistic interpretation based on the rod-length dependent entropic free energy barrier. The findings yield a principle, that is, length commensuration, for optimal design of rodlike particles with highly efficient transport in confined environments of macromolecular networks, and might enrich the physics of the diffusion dynamics in heterogeneous media. In order to solve the problems of low efficiency, multiple blind spots, and high risks in traditional debris flow exploration, two technical means were adopted: small baseline subset interferometric synthetic aperture radar (SBAS-InSAR) and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) low altitude remote sensing (the former obtains highly reliable deformation of vegetation coverage areas through dense images, while the latter obtains high-resolution realistic 3D models through regional network adjustment and other processing) . Integrating deformation and image texture, a survey and analysis of debris flow valleys along a railway in a certain mountainous area was conducted to obtain the spatial and temporal distribution of geological hazards in the watershed. The results show that, through SBAS-InSAR technology, it was found that there were multiple seasonal active hazards in the debris flow valley, with a maximum deformation variable of 28.5 mm/a. Based on the 3D model of UAV, a detailed investigation was conducted on the spatial form, volume, occurrence, and development of the deformation hazard. The largest scale landslide had a volume of 165 000 to 180 000 cubic meters. On site investigations show that the comprehensive remote sensing technology can effectively overcome the challenges of complex mountainous terrain and difficult access for humans, providing a multidimensional perspective for disaster screening. Perovskite nanocrystals for light‐emitting diodes are often synthesized by uncontrollable metathesis reactions, suffering from low product yield, nonuniform growth, and poor stability. Herein, by controlling the nucleation kinetics with high dissociation constant (Ka or Kb) acids or bases, homogenous one‐route nucleation of perovskite nanocrystals is achieved as the cluster intermediates are eliminated. The stable, shape uniform, and narrow size distribution green nanocrystals are synthesized. The perovskite nanocrystal film exhibites excellent stability in 80% humidity air with only a 10% photoluminescence intensity drop after 16 h. Efficient and stable electroluminescence is demonstrated with an FWHM of 16 nm at 517 nm. The green devices shows a peak EQE of 24.13% with a lifetime T50 of 54 min at 10 000 cd m−2. Nanomaterials has been widely adopted in asphalt binder modification in pavement engineering. Considering the advantage of nano-Al2O3 in high-temperature resistance and chemical stability, this study investigated the feasibility of the nano-Al2O3 used in asphalt modification in terms of performances and mechanisms. The impact of the nano-Al2O3 content on modified asphalt binder's pavement performance was analyzed via aging resistance, low temperature performance, high temperature performance, and bonding performance using various tests (e.g. DSR test, BBR test, RTFOT test, and BBS test). Results showed that the nano-Al2O3 is capable of improving base asphalt's aging resistance, high temperature performance and bonding performance, while bringing an insignificant adverse impact on performance at low temperatures simultaneously. Moreover, modification mechanisms of the asphalt binder under the modification of nano-Al2O3 were revealed from a view of functional groups and molecular characteristics via Gel permeation chromatography (GPC) tests and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) tests. According to the result, modification of base asphalt binder by nano-Al2O3 belongs to physical blended and inhibits the growth of sulfoxide groups during the aging process. To evaluate the tunneling effect of the earth pressure balance(EPB) shield in typical strata in Nanchang, China, a case study is conducted on a shield tunnel from Shengjinta station to Liuyanjing station. The evolution patterns of the main tunneling parameters of the EPB shield in full-section gravel sandstone stratum, full-section argillaceous siltstone, and composite sand-rock strata are investigated. Then, some characteristic parameters of the stratigraphic boreability including penetration degree, field penetration index, and tunneling specific energy are introduced to establish the relationships between the investigated key tunneling parameters. On this basis, the stratigraphic boreability of these three types of strata is evaluated. The research results indicate the following: (1) The main tunneling parameters are stable relatively when tunneling in gravel sandstone and argillaceous siltstone strata. The total thrust and the rotation speed of the cutterhead increase considerably in the composite sand-rock strata. (2) The cutterhead torque decreases gradually when shield tunnels from composite sand-rock strata to argillaceous siltstone strata. There is a satisfied positive linear relationship between the cutterhead torque and the total thrust in the argillaceous siltstone strata. (3) The value and oscillation of the penetration degree decline obviously when the shield tunnels from gravel sandstone to argillaceous siltstone strata. There are similar distributed characteristics of the field penetration index in the composite sand-rock strata and argillaceous siltstone strata but exhibit an opposite variation trend. Nevertheless, the tunneling specific energies of shield in these three strata are close to each other. (4) Significant correlations between the field penetration index and the penetration degree are observed in both gravel sandstone and composite sand-rock strata, but the correlation is weak in argillaceous siltstone strata. (5) The shield has a highest penetration degree and lowest field penetration index and tunneling specific energy in gravel sandstone strata, indicating the best tunneling effect of EPB shield in such strata. (6) On the whole, the gravel sandstone strata and the intermediately-weathered argillaceous siltstone strata show a better boreability than composite sand-rock strata. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Chiral hybrid Cu(I)‐based iodides with d10 closed shell demonstrate great potential for circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) because of high photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY). Herein, by incorporating mono‐ or bi‐dentate coordination mode ligands as chiral source, the self‐assembly of four pairs of chiral hybrid Cu(I)‐based iodides, namely, (R/S)‐Cu4I4(Hmpy)4·H2O (R/S‐1), (R/S)‐Cu4I4(3Hpy)4 (R/S‐2), (R/S)‐Cu4I4(2MePI)4 (R/S‐3), and (R/S)‐Cu4I4(3AD)4 (R/S‐4) (where R/S‐Hmpy = R/S‐2‐pyrrolidinemethanol, R/S‐3Hpy = R/S‐3‐hydroxypyrrolidine, R/S‐2MePI = R/S‐2‐methylpiperazine, and R/S‐3AD = R/S‐3‐aminopiperidine), are reported. With the monodentate and bidentate ligands, these materials belong to two different structural types: 0D molecular clusters (R/S‐1, R/S‐2) and 3D porous metal–organic frameworks (R/S‐3, R/S‐4). These materials all crystallize in non‐centrosymmetric space groups containing similar basic Cu4I4 cubane tetramer building units but with different coordination modes. They are also semiconductors, with optical bandgaps ranging from 2.70 to 2.94 eV. The photoluminescence (PL) and circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) emissions are further characterized, where the highest PLQY of ≈95% and CPL dissymmetry factor (glum) of ≈7 × 10−3 are achieved in R/S‐1. This work offers a systematic comparison between different structural types with similar building blocks, bridging by the flexible chiral ligands, and shows that the hybrid copper iodides are highly promising candidates for next‐generation optoelectronics and chiroptics. High silicon dioxide content enables as a cement substitute. This study explored recycling RHA and RAP in cement stabilised macadam (CSM) to produce a pavement base material. Laboratory experiments covering strength, flexibility, shrinkage, and resistance to temperature variation were conducted on CSM with RAP (40% by weight of natural aggregates) and RHA at 0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, and 80% weight of cement. The results indicated that the compressive strength, resilient modulus, and tensile strength of CSM increased with curing time while the increasing rate and strength after curing decreased with the addition of RHA. The resistance to thermal changes, moisture loss, and the freeze-thaw cycle could be maintained by replacing 20 wt.% (or lower content) cement with RHA. These findings suggest that replacing 20 wt.% of cement with RHA and 40 wt.% of natural aggregates with RAP can generate qualified and environmental pavement base material. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Thermal and photothermal catalytic selective oxidation of isobutane to methacrylic acid (MAA) are comparatively studied over a keggin-type Cs2.9Cu0.34V0.49PMo12O40 heteropolyacid acid. An introduction of light was observed to enhance both the i-C4H10 conversion and the MAA selectivity, and consequently the MAA formate rate, particularly at low temperatures. Characterization results show that oxidation of methacrolein (MAL) to MAA is the rate-limiting step while UV light illumination promotes the oxidation of σ-bonded MAL with OH groups to σ-bonded MAA on the catalyst surface. These results demonstrate a synergistic effect of thermal catalysis and photocatalysis in selective oxidation of isobutane to MAA, which suggests photothermal catalysis as a promising strategy to catalyze the selective oxidation of higher hydrocarbons at relative mild reaction conditions. Due to COVID-19, online education has become an important tool for teachers to teach students. Also, teachers depend on a multimedia teaching system (platform) to finish online education. However, interacted images from a multimedia teaching system may suffer from noise. To address this issue, we propose a lightweight image denoising network (LIDNet) for multimedia teaching systems. A parallel network can be used to mine complementary information. To achieve an adaptive CNN, an omni-dimensional dynamic convolution fused into an upper network can automatically adjust parameters to achieve a robust CNN, according to different input noisy images. That also enlarges the difference in network architecture, which can improve the denoising effect. To refine obtained structural information, a serial network is set behind a parallel network. To extract more salient information, an adaptively parametric rectifier linear unit composed of an attention mechanism and a ReLU is used into LIDNet. Traffic network design problems (NDPs) play an important role in urban planning. Since there exist uncertainties in the real urban traffic network, neglecting the uncertainty factors may lead to unreasonable decisions. This paper considers the transportation network signal design problem under stochastic origin-destination (OD) demand. In general, solving this stochastic problem requires a large amount of computational budget to calculate the equilibrium flow corresponding to a certain demand distribution, which limits its real applications. To reduce the computational time in calculating the equilibrium flow under stochastic demand, this paper proposes a metamodel-based optimization method. First, a combined metamodel that integrates a physical modeling part and a model bias generic part is developed. The metamodel is used to approximate the time-consuming average equilibrium flow solution process, hence to improve the computational efficiency. To further improve the convergence and the solution optimality performance of the metamodel-based optimization, the gradient information of traffic flow with respect to the signal plan is incorporated in the optimization model. A gradient-based metamodel algorithm is then proposed. In the numerical example, a six-node test network is used to examine the proposed metamodel-based optimization method. The proposed combined metamodel is compared with the benchmark method to investigate the importance of incorporating a model bias generic part and the traffic flow gradient information in the combined metamodel. Although there is a reduction in solution optimality since the metamodel is an approximation of the original model, the metamodel methods greatly improve the computational efficiency (the computational time is reduced by 4.84 to 13.47 times in the cases of different initial points). By incorporating the model bias, the combined metamodel can better approximate the original optimal solution. Moreover, incorporating the gradient information of the traffic flow in the optimization search algorithm can further improve the solution performance. Numerical results show that the gradient-based metamodel method can effectively improve the computation efficiency while slightly reducing the solution optimality (with an increase of 0.09% in the expected total travel cost). Advances in thin film light-emitting devices have fueled the rapid growth of a new class of solid-state lighting devices, featuring low fabrication cost, high quantum efficiency, and broadband spectrum coverage, etc. In contrast to the conventional inorganic semiconductors that rely on lattice matched high crystalline quality substrate, solution processable thin films eliminate the dependence on the substrate, which is highly desired for the ease and versatility of integrations with foreign medium. By taking this advantage, this work developed an ultracompact solution to control the directionality of thin film emitters using integrated dielectric metasurface through one step spin-coating process. As a proof of concept, directional emissions from perovskite nanocrystal thin film, including collimated light emissions and two-dimensional beam steering, are experimentally demonstrated. Notably, our approach, where light emitters were integrated on the back side of substrate after the fabrication of metasurface, judiciously avoids any potential degradation of material optical quality caused by the multi-step nanofabrication. Therefore, it can serve as a generalized scheme to engage the advantageous properties of dielectric metasurface, including the compactness, high efficiency, and beam controllability with the emerging thin film light-emitting diodes (LEDs), which is applicable to a wide range of solution processable materials, including organic light-emitting diodes, quantum-dot light emitting diodes, polymer LEDs, and perovskite LEDs, opening up new pathways to develop low-cost and ultra-compact solid state light sources with versatile beams characteristics. Background: Microvascular invasion (MVI) is an independent detrimental risk factor for tumor recurrence and poor survival in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) networks play a pivotal role in the modulation of carcinogenesis and progression among diverse tumor types. However, whether the ceRNA mechanisms are engaged in promoting the MVI process in patients with HCC remains unknown. Methods: A ceRNA regulatory network was constructed based on RNA‐seq data of patients with HCC from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database. In total, 10 hub genes of the ceRNA network were identified using four algorithms: "MCC," "Degree," "Betweenness," and "Stress." Transcriptional expressions were verified by in situ hybridization using clinical samples. Interactions between ceRNA modules were validated by luciferase reporting assay. Logistic regression analysis, correlation analysis, enrichment analysis, promoter region analysis, methylation analysis, and immune infiltration analysis were performed to further investigate the molecular mechanisms and clinical transformation value. Results: The ceRNA regulatory network featuring a tumor invasion phenotype consisting of 3 long noncoding RNAs, 3 microRNAs, and 93 mRNAs was constructed using transcriptional data from the TCGA database. Systemic analysis and experimentally validation identified a ceRNA network (PVT1/miR‐1258/DUSP13 axis) characterized by lipid regulatory potential, immune properties, and abnormal methylation states in patients with HCC and MVI. Meanwhile, 28 transcriptional factors were identified as potential promotors of PVT1 with 3 transcriptional factors MXD3, ZNF580, and KDM1A promising as therapeutic targets in patients with HCC and MVI. Furthermore, miR‐1258 was an independent predictor for MVI in patients with HCC. Conclusion: The PVT1/DUSP13 axis is significantly associated with MVI progression in HCC patients. In Natural Language Processing (NLP), deep-learning neural networks have superior performance but pose transparency and explainability barriers, due to their black box nature, and, thus, there is lack of trustworthiness. On the other hand, classical machine learning techniques are intuitive and easy to understand but often cannot perform satisfactorily. Fortunately, many research studies have recently indicated that the newly introduced model, Tsetlin Machine (TM), has reliable performance and, at the same time, enjoys human-level interpretability by nature, which is a promising approach to trade off effectiveness and interpretability. However, nearly all of the related works so far have concentrated on the English language, while research on other languages is relatively scarce. So, we propose a novel method, based on the TM model, in which the learning process is transparent and easily-understandable for Chinese NLP tasks. Our model can learn semantic information in the Chinese language by clauses. For evaluation, we conducted experiments in two domains, namely sentiment analysis and spam review detection. The experimental results showed thatm for both domains, our method could provide higher accuracy and a higher F1 score than complex, but non-transparent, deep-learning models, such as BERT and ERINE. The polysaccharide WL gum is produced by the marine microorganism Sphingomonas sp. WG and presents great commercial utility potential in many industries especially in oil industries. However, the high fermentation cost limits its wide application. Therefore, an efficient production system at a lower cost was established using beet molasses to partially replace the commonly used carbon sources. Four different molasses were screened and their composition was investigated. One-factor design and RSM statistical analysis were employed to optimize the WL gum fermentation medium. The effects of molasses on the rheological properties and gene expression of WL gum were also investigated. The results showed that the pretreated beet molasses generated both high broth viscosity and WL gum production (12.94 Pa·s and 11.16 g/L). Heavy metal ions and ash were found to be the key factors in unpretreated and pretreated molasses affecting WL production. The cost-efficient production medium contained (g/L): sucrose 61.79, molasses 9.95, yeast extract 1.23, K2HPO4 1, MgSO4 0.1, ZnSO4 0.1 and the WL gum production reached 40.25 ± 1.15 g/L. The WL gum product WL-molasses showed the higher apparent viscosity, and viscous modulus and elastic modulus than WL-sucrose and WL-mix, which might be related to its highest molecular mass. The higher expressional level of genes such as pgm, ugp, ugd, rmlA, welS, and welG in WL gum synthesis in the mixed carbon source medium caused the high production and broth viscosity. All‐inorganic perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) have received extensive attention for next‐generation thin film devices due to their excellent optical properties, such as strong light absorption, high carrier mobility, and defect tolerance. However, significant challenges remain to obtain high‐quality perovskite thin films. Herein, a simple but effective post‐treatment by laser irradiation for CsPbBr3 NCs thin films is reported. Laser‐induced secondary crystallization is observed in CsPbBr3 NCs thin films after treatment. In addition, amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) with a low threshold (5.6 µJ cm−2) and a high gain value (743 cm–1) is achieved. Based on optical measurements, it is attributed to the low defect density, reduced Auger recombination, and weak exciton–phonon interactions, which greatly suppress the nonradiative recombination channels. The ASE from the film after treatment has a high characteristic temperature (134 K), showing a stable optical gain performance that maintains its intensity for 35 h at room temperature (and 12 h at 40 °C). Finally, the proof‐of‐concept demonstration of graphic coding is shown. This study deepens the understanding of the optical gain mechanism of CsPbBr3 perovskite films and provides a simple and convenient laser treatment that enables the fabrication of high‐quality CsPbBr3 perovskite thin films. Ultra‐sensitive optical humidity sensors based on nanomaterials play important roles in the fields of science and industry. The related research has been reported, however, the underlying physical mechanism is still unclear. In order to clarify this point, and further improve the sensing performance, herein, optical humidity sensor based on porous silica/quantum dots (PS/QDs) hybrid nanoarchitecture has been developed. PS is selected to enhance emission of QDs due to its large surface roughness, which can improve light utilization. Under optimized conditions, the emission from the hybrid PS/QDs can be enhanced 6.5 times compared with the as‐grown QDs. With the increase of relative humidity from 20% to 80%, the hybrid PS/QDs demonstrate excellent response, wide sensing range, fast response time (22–40 s), good selectivity, and repeatability. Based on laser spectroscopy, the sensing mechanism is ascribed to the passivation of the surface defects by water molecules, which results in enhanced emission. Purpose: Partial nephrectomy (PN) is the main treatment strategy for localized renal cell carcinoma (RCC). However, for RCC with high anatomical complexity, PN remains a challenge for urologists. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the functional oncological outcomes and safety of laparoscopic partial nephrectomy (LPN) versus open partial nephrectomy (OPN) in localized RCC patients with highly anatomical complexity (R.E.N.A.L. score ≥ 10). Patients and methods: We retrospectively studied 575 patients who underwent PN at our center between January 2007 and December 2017. After propensity score-matching (PSM), 137 patients treated with LPN and 54 patients treated with OPN were balanced into 97 and 44 pairs. Patient demographics, and extensive perioperative and prognostic data were recorded and compared. Results: In the matched group, the OPN group had significantly less eGFR loss than the LPN group (2.57 ml/min/1.73 m2 vs. 31.59 ml/min/1.73 m2, P < 0.001). The recurrence-free survival (P = 0.287), overall survival (P = 0.296), cancer-specific survival (P = 0.664), and cardiocerebrovascular disease-specific survival (P = 0.341) were equivalent between groups. The rates of minor (P = 0.621) and major (P = 0.647) complications were also similar between groups. Conclusions: This PSM cohort study showed that OPN resulted in better renal function preservation than LPN in localized RCC patients with high anatomical complexity, and had comparable oncological and safety outcomes after long-term follow-up. Controlled ion release and mineralization of bioactive glasses are essential to their applications in bone regeneration. Tuning the chemical composition and surface structure of glasses are the primary means of achieving this goal. However, most bioactive glasses exhibit a non-linear ion release behavior. Therefore, modifying the immersion environment of glasses through external stimuli becomes an approach. In this study, the ion release and mineralization properties of a borosilicate bioactive glass were investigated in the Tris buffer and K2HPO4 solutions with different pH. The glass had a faster ion release rate at a lower pH, but the overly acidic environment was detrimental to hydroxyapatite production. Using a direct current (DC) electric field as an external stimulus, the pH of the immersion solution could be modulated within a narrow range, thereby modulating ion release from the glass. As a result, significant increases in ion release were observed after three days, and the development of porous mineralization products on the glass surface after six days. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of the DC electric field in modulating the ion release of the bioactive glass in vitro and provides a potential way to regulate the degradation of the glass in vivo. Circularly polarized luminescent inorganics arouses attentions due to scalable preparation and versatile chiral optoelectronic applications. Here, strong circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) activity has been developed from self‐assembled cellulose nanocrystals decorated with blue emitting silicon quantum dots (QDs). The electrostatic attraction promotes the successful incorporation of QDs into chiral template matrix to form homogeneous hybrid nanoarchitecture films. It is found that their circular dichroism behaviors are closely related to the photonic band gap (PBG) while the CPL behaviors are determined by the QDs and PBG simultaneously. Furthermore, the as‐prepared chiral composite thin films have been employed as an efficient circularly polarized light source for preparing enantioselective polymer, which can induce chirality and photopolymerization simultaneously. Traffic signal control is one effective way to alleviate traffic congestion. Anticipatory traffic signal control determines signal settings from a network planning perspective, which takes into account the influence of travelers' route choice response and triggers better equilibrium flow patterns for better network performance. For the route choice response, it is usually predicted by a response function known as traffic assignment model. However, the response behavior can never be precisely modeled, leading to a mismatch between the modeled and real traffic flow patterns. This model-reality mismatch generally contributes to suboptimal control performance and hence brings unexpected congestion in real-life traffic operations. This study aims to address the model-reality mismatch and proposes an effective anticipatory traffic control for real operations. A metamodel is introduced that serves as a surrogate of the unknown structural model bias. Then an iterative optimizing control scheme is applied to correct the model bias by learning from observations. By integrating the model-based control design with data-driven learning techniques, the metamodeling framework is able to enhance the control performance. Moreover, the analytical model bias formulation allows theoretical investigation of the model approximation error. To further improve the control performance, a joint traffic model parameter estimation is developed, hence achieving a better model calibration jointly with the model bias correction. The proposed control method is examined on a test network. Numerical examples confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method in improving control performance despite the model-reality mismatch. Comparison results show that the proposed method outperforms the traditional model-based control method and an improvement of 14.8% in total travel time is achieved in the example network. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most prevalent malignancies; its recurrence is associated with high mortality and poor recurrence‐free survival and is affected by multisystem and multilevel pathological changes. To identify the key proteins associated with tumor recurrence and the underlying mechanisms, proteomic profiling of tumor specimens from early recurrence and nonrecurrence patients was performed in this study. Proteomics was applied to identify differentially expressed proteins during the early recurrence of HCC after surgery. Osteosarcoma amplified‐9 (OS‐9) was discovered, and the correlation between OS‐9 expression and the clinicopathological characteristics of patients was analyzed. Invasion and migration were examined in SMMC‐7721 cells with and without OS‐9 overexpression. Proteomics was performed once again using SMMC‐7721 cells with OS‐9 overexpression to further analyze the proteins with altered expression. OS‐9 was overexpressed in the early recurrence group, and OS‐9 overexpression was associated with high serum alpha‐fetoprotein levels and poor recurrence‐free survival in 196 patients with HCC. The invasion and migration abilities of SMMC‐7721 cells were enhanced in the OS‐9 overexpression group. Bioinformatic functional enrichment methods, including Gene Ontology annotation and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway analysis, revealed that the hypoxia‐inducible factor 1 (HIF‐1) and tumor necrosis factor (TNF) signaling pathways were activated in the OS‐9 overexpression group. The migration and invasion capacities of OS‐9 overexpressed HCC cell line were weakened while treated with HIF‐1α or TNF‐α inhibitors. Conclusion: Our results suggest that the overexpression of OS‐9 is related to HCC recurrence, thereby contributing to the migration and invasion capacities of HCC cell line by regulating the HIF‐1 and TNF pathways. The study aims to further standardize the construction process, improve the construction quality, and ensure the stability of infrastructure construction. The continuous rigid-frame bridge is taken as the research object, the finite element model of the bridge body is established by using the beam element, and the overall stability of the rigid-frame bridge is analyzed in the construction and completion stages. Moreover, the stability coefficient and buckling mode are established under different working conditions in each stage, the linear stability variation law is summarized, and the geometric nonlinear stability analysis method is established through the specific data. The nonlinear stability safety factor and buckling mode are obtained, and the influence of wind load and initial defects on the stability of continuous rigid-frame bridge is further explored. The results show that with the increase of the bridge height, the overall stability factor of the bridge is decreasing, and the safety factor of the single-limb thin-walled hollow pier is relatively larger than that of the double-limb thin-walled hollow pier. During the construction, the asymmetric self-weight load caused by the asynchronous load and cantilever pouring has the greatest impact on the stability of the bridge. The stability safety factor of the geometric nonlinear stability analysis method constructed is 0.3% and 1.27% lower than the ideal state, respectively. The stability safety factor of the wind load and the initial defect is 12.65% lower than the ideal state, and the stability safety factor is greatly reduced. Diffusion transport of nanoparticles in confined environments of macromolecular networks is common in diverse physical systems and regulates many biological responses. Macromolecular networks possess various topologies, featured by different numbers of degrees and genera. Although the network topologies can be manipulated from a molecular level, how the topology impacts the transport of nanoparticles in macromolecular networks remains unexplored. Here, we develop theoretical approaches combined with simulations to study nanoparticle transport in a model system consisting of network cells with defined topologies. We find that the topology of network cells has a profound effect on the free energy landscape experienced by a nanoparticle in the network cells, exhibiting various scaling laws dictated by the topology. Furthermore, the examination of the impact of cell topology on the detailed behavior of nanoparticle dynamics leads to different dynamical regimes that go beyond the particulars regarding the local network loop. The results might alter the conventional picture of the physical origin of transport in networks. With the rapid development of underground engineering construction, such as deep mining of mineral resources and tunnel excavation under complex geological conditions, the existing support methods cannot meet the deformation requirements. It is necessary to conduct in-depth research on the stress status and damage evolution of the hanger rods, to establish a theoretical basis for the design principles and criteria of key components. In this paper, the degradation law of the mechanical properties of the hanger steel wire with the degree of corrosion is analyzed in detail. The results show that the corrosion changes the geometry of the cross section of the steel wire, which leads to the degradation of the mechanical properties of the steel wire. With the increase of corrosion length and depth, the strength, stiffness, and ultimate strain of the steel wire are reduced to varying degrees, and the effect of pitting corrosion is more significant than that of uniform corrosion. All-polymer solar cells (all-PSCs) have received extensive attention due to their excellent mechanical robustness and performance stability. However, the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of all-PSCs still lags behind those of organic solar cells (OSCs) based on non-fullerene small molecule acceptors. Herein, we report highly efficient all-PSCs via sequential deposition (SD) with donor and acceptor layers coated sequentially to optimize the film microstructure. Compared with the bulk heterojunction (BHJ) all-PSCs, an optimized morphology with vertical component distribution was achieved for the SD-processed all-PSCs due to the synergistic effect of swelling of polymer films and using additive. Such strategy involves using chlorobenzene as the first layer processing-solvent for polymer donor, chloroform as the second processing-solvent for polymer acceptor with trace 1-chlor-onaphthalene, efficiently promoting exciton dissociation and charge extraction and reducing trap-assisted recombination. Consequently, over 16% all-PSCs fabricated via SD method was realized for the first time, which is much higher than that (15.2%) of its BHJ counterpart and also among the highest PCEs in all-PSCs. We have further demonstrated the generality of this approach in various all-polymer systems. Background and Aim: Donor shortage has become worldwide limitation in liver transplantation (LT). Use of hepatitis B virus surface antigen positive (HBsAg+) donors could be an alternative source of donor organs. This study aims to investigate the safety and efficacy of LT using HBsAg+ liver grafts and associated long‐term outcome. Methods: This was a retrospective study of adults LT registered in the database of the China Liver Transplant Registry between January 2015 and September 2018. By propensity score matching (1:1), 503 eligible patients who received HBsAg+ liver grafts were compared with 503 matched patients who received HBsAg− liver grafts. Results: The 1‐, 3‐, and 5‐year patient survival rates were 81.52%, 72.04%, and 66.65% in HBsAg+ donor group, which were comparable with 83.93%, 77.27%, and 65.73% in HBsAg− donor group (P = 0.222). The 1‐, 3‐, and 5‐year graft survival rates were also comparable between the two groups (81.49%, 71.45%, and 67.26% vs 83.62%, 77.11%, and 65.81%, respectively, P = 0.243). Most main complications were not increased in HBsAg+ donor group except for the retaining of HBsAg positivity after LT. Furthermore, transplanting HBsAg+ liver grafts did not result in inferior outcomes either in HBsAg+ or HBsAg− recipients. The risk of tumor recurrence after LT was not increased in hepatocellular carcinoma patients. Conclusions: The outcomes of using HBsAg+ liver grafts were comparable with those of HBsAg− liver grafts. To study the contact mechanical characteristics and breakage mechanism of single particle, the particle contact experiment is simulated using the discrete element method. In this paper, to solve the problem that the envelope of the shear strength of the classical model is linear, a nonlinear discrete surface bonded model is introduced by applying nonlinear tangential strength criterion. The new model is compared with the classical model to verify its validity. Then, based on the new model, the particle contact experiment is numerically simulated, and the ball-plane contact breakage mechanism is analysed and discussed from the mesoscopic perspective. The results reveal that the nonlinear discrete interface bonded model can provide shear properties similar to those of actual materials. The numerical result reflects the shear failure of the edge of the conical region and the tensile failure of the whole specimen. In this paper, a closed-loop simulation of vehicle dynamics in CarSim is utilized as surrogate measures to study the effect of pavement roughness and differential settlement on risk of vehicle rollover and skidding. It is found that the influence of pavement roughness on vehicle rollover is significant and the influence of pavement roughness on vehicle skidding is insignificant. The influence of pavement roughness of grade A and B on safety margin of vehicle rollover can be negligible. Pavement roughness of grade C and D significantly reduces the safety margin of vehicle rollover. A 5 cm settlement difference on pavement reduces the safety margin of vehicle skidding on a good road. When the settlement difference is 5 cm, the vehicle rollover and skidding are greatly affected by the lane-changing speed. Nanomaterials are widely used in the preparation of modified asphalt because they can improve the high-temperature performance of matrix asphalt and have achieved good engineering results. However, the existing research mainly focuses on the material analysis and formula development of nanomodified asphalt and has not yet been involved in the mechanical response of the nanomodified asphalt pavement structure. The mechanical response contains the horizontal tensile stress and the vertical compressive stress of SiO2 modified asphalt pavement. It is unable to propose the matching pavement structure combination for the unique material characteristics of nanomodified asphalt, which leads to the increase of the possibility of pavement diseases and material waste. Hence, considering that semirigid base is the most widely used base type in China, two different structural models of nanomodified asphalt pavement are established according to the current specifications. The effects of pavement thickness, material type, and pavement design parameters on the mechanical response of nanomodified asphalt pavement are analyzed, and then the principle of optimal mechanical performance is taken and the optimal combination of nanomodified asphalt pavement structure is proposed. Nanoparticles have been widely adopted to improve the high-temperature performance of asphalt binder. However, the influence of moisture on high-temperature performance is not clear. Hence, the water absorption performance of the nano-SiO2-modified asphalt concrete is investigated. Based on this, to further analyze the pavement performance of the nano-SiO2-modified asphalt concrete, the coupled effects of high-temperature, moisture content, and nanoparticles content on the rutting resistance of the nano-SiO2-modified asphalt concrete are tested and revealed in this study. Results show that temperature has the most significant influence on the water absorption performance of the nano-SiO2-modified asphalt concrete. The rutting resistance of the nano-SiO2-modified asphalt concrete decreases as temperature and moisture content increase, especially for the temperature. The dynamic stability at the same temperature condition decreases approximately linearly as moisture content increases. The effect of the nano-SiO2 content is the most nonobvious. Garbage classification is difficult to supervise in the stage of collection and transportation. This paper proposes a computer vision-based method for intelligent supervision and workload statistics of garbage trucks. In terms of hardware, this paper deploys a camera and an image processing unit with NPU based on the original on-board computing and communication equipment. In terms of software, this paper uses the YOLOv3-tiny algorithm on the image processing unit to perform real-time target detection on garbage truck work, collects statistics on the color, specifications, and quantity of garbage bins cleaned by the garbage truck, and uploads the results to the server for recording and display. The proposed method has low deployment and maintenance costs while maintaining excellent accuracy and real-time performance, which makes it have good commercial application value.
