This research focuses on the structural and spectral insights of unadulterated and doped L-alanine crystals. Barium chloride is considered as the dopant in this study. The various crystals under study are synthesized using slow evaporation technique. The harvested crystals underwent comprehensive characterization through various analyses. The paper primarily delves into the structural and spectral characteristics of the developed crystals. The crystal structure was established utilizing X-ray diffraction (XRD) method which provides details of the spatial arrangement of atoms within the crystal lattice. Additionally, Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectroscopy played a crucial role in identifying functional units, internal molecular structures, and the nature of chemical bonds present in the compound. The combination of these techniques contributes to a comprehensive under-standing of the physical and chemical properties of the Barium chloride-doped L-alanine crystals. This research offers valuable insights into crystal growth processes, doping effects, and the fundamental characteristics of the synthesized material. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
