Abstract

The article presents a study which examined the changes in gene expression in medulloblastoma and tumor-associated genes in the sonic hedgehog, Wnt/beta-catenin and insulin-like growth factor (IGF) signaling pathways. Gene expression changes were examined through microarray analysis. The study concludes that the simian virus 40 large T antigen plays an important role in the development of medulloblastomas and may cooperate with IGF pathway components.
