The ultrafast proton transfer and the following dynamics for aromatic Schiff bases N,N′-bis(salicylidene)ethylenediamine (salen) and N,N′-bis(salicylidene)-1,4-butylenediamine (salbn) were investigated with experimental and theoretical methods. A dual emission property with a large Stokes shift in salen and salbn indicates that excited state intramolecular proton transfer occurs with photoexcitation. An efficient single proton transfer was confirmed within 200 fs for both molecules. Subsequently, a fast twisted motion of the keto moiety carries cis-keto to a relaxed stable geometry in the S1 state. Following the twisted motion, the phenol ring at keto moiety further rotates to a conical intersection with the ground state and a cis–trans isomerization occurs. The isomerization rate is high, which dominates the competition with the radiative transition, resulting in weak emission intensity. It is confirmed that the length of alkyl chain affects the direction of phenol ring twisting and rotation during the whole subsequent relaxation of excited cis-keto tautomer. Compared with polar solvent acetonitrile, the barrier of isomerization is higher and the hydrogen bond on keto moiety is stronger in nonpolar solvent toluene. It makes fluorescence radiation channels competing with isomerism more likely to occur, contributing to the observed difference of enol/keto emission ratios of salen and salbn in toluene and acetonitrile. In this work, the ultrafast intramolecular rotation behavior of 1,1,2,3,4,5-hexaphenylsilole has been investigated in several solutions with different viscosities using femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy combined with density functional theory and time-dependent density functional theory calculations. It is demonstrated that the nonradiative process, which competes with radiative decay, involves two main stages, namely the restricted intramolecular rotation and internal conversion processes. The intramolecular rotation depends on viscosity and presents a significant restriction. The restricted rotational rate is determined to be dozens of picoseconds. The following nonradiative process is strongly dominated by intramolecular rotation. The nonradiative decay rate will decrease with the increase in viscosity, leading to a rise in the radiative probability and photoluminous yield. These results have borne out the mechanism of ultrafast restricted intramolecular rotation of aggregation induced emission and provided a detailed photophysical picture of nonradiative processes. 1D grain boundaries in transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) are ideal for investigating the collective electron behavior in confined systems. However, clear identification of atomic structures at the grain boundaries, as well as precise characterization of the electronic ground states, have largely been elusive. Here, direct evidence for the confined electronic states and the charge density modulations at mirror twin boundaries (MTBs) of monolayer NbSe2, a representative charge‐density‐wave (CDW) metal, is provided. The scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) measurements, accompanied by the first‐principles calculations, reveal that there are two types of MTBs in monolayer NbSe2, both of which exhibit band bending effect and 1D boundary states. Moreover, the intrinsic CDW signatures of monolayer NbSe2 are dramatically suppressed as approaching an isolated MTB but can be either enhanced or suppressed in the MTB‐constituted confined wedges. Such a phenomenon can be well explained by the MTB‐CDW interference interactions. The results reveal the underlying physics of the confined electrons at MTBs of CDW metals, paving the way for the grain boundary engineering of the functionality. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The molecular mechanism of sterility in cattleyak is still unresolved. The related factors of infertility in cattleyak were studied by tissue section, SERPINA5 gene cloning and bioinformatics technology. Tissue sections of the epididymis showed poorly structured and disorganized epithelial cells in the corpus of the epididymis compared to the caput of the epididymis, while in the cauda part of the epididymis, the extra basal smooth muscle was thinner, the surface of the epithelial lumen was discontinuous and the epithelium was markedly degenerated. The results of gene cloning showed that the coding sequence (CDS) region of the SERPINA5 gene in cattleyak was 1215 bp in length, encoding a total of 404 amino acids, of which the isoleucine content was the highest, accounting for a total of 49 amino acids (12.1%). The results of real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR (qPCR) showed that the expression of the SERPINA5 gene in the epididymis caput in cattleyak was significantly higher than that in the corpus and cauda (P < 0.05), but there were no significant differences between the corpus and cauda. In the current study, histological and bioinformatics analysis, physicochemical properties, and the expression analysis of the SERPINA5 gene in different regions of the epididymis in cattleyak were carried out to explore the biological complications of cattleyak infertility. Cancer, a complex group of heterogeneous diseases characterized by the uncontrolled growth and the capability to invade nearby tissues and organs, represents a severe threat to public health worldwide. Over 100 chemotherapeutics have been approved for clinical cancer therapy, but the goal of eradicating cancer remains elusive mainly due to the continuous emergency of drug resistance, necessitating the development of novel anticancer chemotherapeutics. Indoles and carbazoles, contain a benzo[b]pyrrole moiety, are ubiquitous in nature and possess remarkable structural, and anticancer mechanistic diversity, whereas sulfonamides demonstrated potent anticancer efficacy through multiple modes of action, inclusive of apoptosis induction, autophagy regulation, and cell cycle disruption. Accordingly, indole/carbazole and sulfonamide constitute valuable anticancer pharmacophores, and rational hybridization of sulfonamide and indole/carbazole holds a significant functionality in discovery of new anticancer agents. In this review, we summed up the recent advances of sulfonamide-indole/carbazole hybrids with anticancer potential and elucidated the structure-activity relationships as well as mechanisms of action, covering articles published from 2020 onwards, to pave the way for developing more effective anticancer candidates. Many studies have demonstrated that incorporating lexical information into characters can effectively improve the performance of Chinese Named Entity Recognition (CNER). However, we argue that previous studies have not extensively explored the interactive relationship between characters and lexical information, and have only used the lexical information to enhance character-level representation. To address this limitation, we propose an interactive fusion approach that integrates characters and lexical information for CNER. Specifically, we first design graph attention networks to initially fuse character and lexical information within an interactive graph structure. Additionally, by introducing methods such as feedforward neural networks, residual connections, and layer normalization, the fusion effect of the graph attention network is further enhanced. Finally, concatenating and reducing dimensionality of character feature vectors and lexical feature vectors to achieve secondary fusion, thereby obtaining a more comprehensive feature representation. Experimental results on multiple datasets demonstrate that our proposed model outperforms other models that fuse lexical information. Particularly, on the CCKS2020 and Ontonotes datasets, our model achieves higher F1 scores than previous state-of-the-art models. Near‐infrared light‐emitting diodes (NIR LEDs) based on perovskite quantum dots (QDs) have produced external quantum efficiency (EQE) of ~15 %. However, these high‐performance NIR‐QLEDs suffer from immediate carrier quenching because of the accumulation of migratable ions at the surface of the QDs. These uncoordinated ions and carriers—if not bound to the nanocrystal surface—serve as centers for exciton quenching and device degradation. In this work, we overcome this issue and fabricate high‐performance NIR QLEDs by devising a ligand anchoring strategy, which entails dissolving the strong‐binding ligand (Guanidine Hydroiodide, GAI) in the mediate‐polar solvent. By employing the dye‐sensitized device structure (phosphorescent indicator), we demonstrate the elimination of the interface defects. The treated QDs films exhibit an exciton binding energy of 117 meV: this represents a 1.5‐fold increase compared to that of the control (74 meV). We report, as a result, the NIR QLEDs with an EQE of 21 % which is a record among NIR perovskite QLEDs. These QLEDs also exhibit a 7‐fold higher operational stability than that of the best previously reported NIR QLEDs. In this paper, the dihydrate–hemihydrate recrystallization method was employed to produce β-hemihydrate gypsum. The effects of thermodynamic conditions such as temperature, sulfuric acid concentration, and phosphoric acid concentration on the removal of F and P impurities were investigated. Kinetic studies revealed that the throughflow impeller, when compared to the conventional impeller, demonstrates a higher removal rate for soluble phosphorus, while having little impact on soluble fluorine. Long-tail distribution is a difficult challenge for knowledge graph embedding. We expect to solve the problem by complementing the information through the neighbor aggregation mechanism of GCN. However, the GCN method and its derivations are unable to learn the representation of edges. To address this problem, we propose RCGCN-TE, Relation Correlations-aware Graph Convolutional Network with Text-Enhanced for knowledge graph embedding, which is the first effort to enable GCN to learn the representation of relations directly. First, the pre-trained language model is used to extract semantic information. Then, the relation correlation graph is constructed by defining the relation relevance function based on the co-occurrence pattern and semantic similarity of relations. Finally, two GCNS are designed to learn entities and relations respectively. Experimental results on tasks such as triple classification and link prediction are better than the baseline. For example, Hits@10, Hits@3, and Hits@1 improved by 8.23 % , 37.49 % , and 46.94 % , respectively, on the entity prediction task. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The Yan'an gas field in the Ordos Basin is a typical deep coalbed methane field with tremendous resource potential. Evaluation methods for gas content in deep coal seams are urgently required to be established. This study is aimed at quantitatively analyzing the gas content of coalbed methane in deep coalbed methane reservoirs and revealing its influencing factors. With the coal rock samples of typical deep coalbed methane wells in the Yan'an gas field of the Ordos Basin as the research objects, the gas-bearing characteristics of deep coal rocks were analyzed, and the main controlling factors of gas-bearing properties were explored. The research results indicate that (1) the deep coal seams in the Yan'an gas field have a considerable thickness, a high total organic carbon content, and the potential of pyrolysis hydrocarbon generation is generally elevated, presenting excellent hydrocarbon generation potential. (2) Various types of pores and fractures in the deep coal rocks of the Yan'an gas field are well-developed, providing a favorable preservation space and migration channel for deep coalbed methane. (3) The total gas content of on-site analysis of deep coalbed methane in the Yan'an gas field is relatively high, mainly existing in the form of free gas, and has significant exploration and development potential. (4) The gas content of deep coal rocks in the Yan'an gas field is jointly controlled by multiple factors such as the total organic carbon content, minerals, and pore structure. Herein, hierarchically structured microgrid frameworks of Co3O4 and carbon composite deposited on reduced graphene oxide (Co3O4@C/rGO) are demonstrated through the three‐dimensioinal (3D) printing method, where the porous structure is controllable and the height and width are scalable, for dendrite‐free Na metal deposition. The sodiophilicity, facile Na metal deposition kinetics, and NaF‐rich solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) formation of cubic Co3O4 phase are confirmed by combined spectroscopic and computational analyses. Moreover, the uniform and reversible Na plating/stripping process on 3D‐printed Co3O4@C/rGO host is monitored in real time using in situ transmission electron and optical microscopies. In symmetric cells, the 3D printed Co3O4@C/rGO electrode achieves a long‐term stability over 3950 at 1 mA cm−2 and 1 mAh cm−2 with a superior Coulombic efficiency (CE) of 99.87% as well as 120 h even at 20 mA cm−2 and 20 mAh cm−2, far exceeding the previously reported carbon‐based hosts for Na metal anodes. Consequently, the full cells of 3D‐printed Na@Co3O4@C/rGO anode with 3D‐printed Na3V2(PO4)3@C‐rGO cathode (≈15.7 mg cm−2) deliver the high specific capacity of 97.97 mAh g−1 after 500 cycles with a high CE of 99.89% at 0.5 C, demonstrating the real operation of flexible Na metal batteries. The global serious pollution situation urgently needs green, efficient, and sustainable development methods to achieve heavy metal pollution control. The photocatalytic properties of anatase are sufficient to achieve pollution control by providing photoelectrons to harmful heavy metals. However, since natural anatase particles tend to agglomerate and deactivate in water, most studies have been conducted to prepare TiO2–biochar nanocomposites using chemical synthesis methods. In the present study, we utilized pyrolytic sintering to load natural anatase onto biochar to obtain natural anatase–biochar (TBC) composites. Characterization tests, such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), showed that anatase was uniformly partitioned into the surface and pores of biochar without destroying the lattice structure. Due to its photocatalytic properties, TBC degraded Cr (VI) by 99.63% under light conditions. This is 1.58 times higher than the dark condition. Zeta potential showed that the surface of the TBC was positively charged under acidic conditions. The charge attraction between TBC and chromium salt was involved in the efficient degradation of Cr (VI). Different sacrificial agents as well as gas purge experiments demonstrated that photoelectrons (e−) and superoxide radicals ( O 2 − ) dominated the degradation of Cr (VI). TBC has the characteristics of high efficiency, stability, and sustainability. This may provide a new idea for the preparation of photocatalytic materials and the realization of environmental protection and sustainable development through heavy metal pollution control. Summary: The shape of rice grains not only determines the thousand‐grain weight but also correlates closely with the grain quality.Here we identified an ultra‐large grain accession (ULG) with a thousand‐grain weight exceeding 60 g. The integrated analysis of QTL, BSA, de novo genome assembled, transcription sequencing, and gene editing was conducted to dissect the molecular basis of the ULG formation.The ULG pyramided advantageous alleles from at least four known grain‐shaping genes, OsLG3, OsMADS1, GS3, GL3.1, and one novel locus, qULG2‐b, which encoded a leucine‐rich repeat receptor‐like kinase. The collective impacts of OsLG3, OsMADS1, GS3, and GL3.1 on grain size were confirmed in transgenic plants and near‐isogenic lines. The transcriptome analysis identified 112 genes cooperatively regulated by these four genes that were prominently involved in photosynthesis and carbon metabolism. By leveraging the pleiotropy of these genes, we enhanced the grain yield, appearance, and stress tolerance of rice var. SN265.Beyond showcasing the pyramiding of multiple grain size regulation genes that can produce ULG, our study provides a theoretical framework and valuable genomic resources for improving rice variety by leveraging the pleiotropy of grain size regulated genes. Realizing an efficient turnover frequency in the acidic oxygen evolution reaction by modifying the reaction configuration is crucial in designing high-performance single-atom catalysts. Here, we report a "single atom–double site" concept, which involves an activatable inert manganese atom redox chemistry in a single-atom Ru-Mn dual-site platform with tunnel Ni ions as the trigger. In contrast to conventional single-atom catalysts, the proposed configuration allows direct intramolecular oxygen coupling driven by the Ni ions intercalation effect, bypassing the secondary deprotonation step instead of the kinetically sluggish adsorbate evolution mechanism. The strong bonding of Ni ions activates the inert manganese terminal groups and inhibits the cross-site disproportionation process inherent in the Mn scaffolding, which is crucial to ensure the dual-site platform. As a result, the single-atom Ru-Ni-Mn octahedral molecular sieves catalyst delivers a low overpotential, adequate mass activity and good stability. Low luminous efficiency at visible light excitation restricts many applications of graphene quantum dots in bioanalysis, bioimaging, and light-emitting diodes. Herein, we report the synthesis of folic acid, histidine, and serine-functionalized and boron and phosphorus-doped graphene quantum dots (FHS-GQD-B/P) using a one-step thermal treatment. The resulting FHS-GQD-B/P consists of tiny graphene sheets with an average size of 4.6 ± 0.28 nm. The synergy of multiple functional groups and multiple heteroatoms achieved excellent yellow luminescence behavior in the aqueous state and in the solid state. FHS-GQD-B/P can produce the strongest yellow fluorescence upon excitation with visible light at 490 nm. The fluorescence quantum yield reached 60.2%, which is higher than that of the other graphene quantum dots emitting yellow light. The fluorescence emission wavelength is independent of excitation wavelength, FHS-GQD-B/P concentration, and medium acidity. Interestingly, the yellow fluorescence can be quenched by Fe2+ in the presence of o-phenanthroline. Based on this, a method was developed for the fluorescence detection of Fe2+. The fluorescence intensity linearly decreases with the increase of Fe2+ concentration in the range of 0.01–50 μM with a detection limit of 0.0042 μM and a signal-to-noise ratio of 3. Fritillaria cirrhosa, an endangered medicinal plant in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, is facing resource scarcity. Artificial cultivation has been employed to address this issue, but problems related to continuous cultivation hinder successful transplantation. Imbalanced microbial communities are considered a potential cause, yet the overall changes in the microbial community under continuous cropping systems remain poorly understood. Here, we investigated the effects of varying durations of continuous cropping on the bacterial and fungal communities, as well as enzymatic activities, in the rhizospheric soil of F. cirrhosa. Our findings revealed that continuous cropping of F. cirrhosa resulted in soil acidification, nutrient imbalances, and increased enzyme activity. Specifically, after 10 years of continuous cropping, there was a notable shift in the abundance and diversity (e.g., Chao1 index) of soil bacteria and fungi. Moreover, microbial composition analyses revealed a significant accumulation of harmful microorganisms associated with soil-borne diseases (e.g., Luteimonas, Parastagonospora, Pseudogymnoascus) in successively cropped soils, in contrast to the significant reduction of beneficial microorganisms (e.g., Sphingomonas, Lysobacter, Cladosporium) that promote plant growth and development and protect against diseases such as Fusarium sp.These changes led to decreased connectivity and stability within the soil microbial community. Structural equation modeling and redundancy analysis revealed that alkaline hydrolytic nitrogen and available phosphorus directly influenced soil pH, which was identified as the primary driver of soil microbial community changes and subsequently contributed to soil health deterioration. Overall, our results highlight that soil acidification and imbalanced rhizosphere microbial communities are the primary challenges associated with continuous cropping of F. cirrhosa. Crystallographic phase engineering plays an important part in the precise control of the physical and electronic properties of materials. In two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides (2D TMDs), phase engineering using chemical lithiation with the organometallization agent n-butyllithium (n-BuLi), to convert the semiconducting 2H (trigonal) to the metallic 1T (octahedral) phase, has been widely explored for applications in areas such as transistors, catalysis and batteries1–15. Although this chemical phase engineering can be performed at ambient temperatures and pressures, the underlying mechanisms are poorly understood, and the use of n-BuLi raises notable safety concerns. Here we optically visualize the archetypical phase transition from the 2H to the 1T phase in mono- and bilayer 2D TMDs and discover that this reaction can be accelerated by up to six orders of magnitude using low-power illumination at 455 nm. We identify that the above-gap illumination improves the rate-limiting charge-transfer kinetics through a photoredox process. We use this method to achieve rapid and high-quality phase engineering of TMDs and demonstrate that this methodology can be harnessed to inscribe arbitrary phase patterns with diffraction-limited edge resolution into few-layer TMDs. Finally, we replace pyrophoric n-BuLi with safer polycyclic aromatic organolithiation agents and show that their performance exceeds that of n-BuLi as a phase transition agent. Electrosynthesis of adipic acid (a precursor for nylon-66) from KA oil (a mixture of cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol) represents a sustainable strategy to replace conventional method that requires harsh conditions. However, its industrial possibility is greatly restricted by the low current density and competitive oxygen evolution reaction. Herein, we modify nickel layered double hydroxide with vanadium to promote current density and maintain high faradaic efficiency (>80%) within a wide potential window (1.5 ~ 1.9 V vs. reversible hydrogen electrode). Experimental and theoretical studies reveal two key roles of V modification, including accelerating catalyst reconstruction and strengthening cyclohexanone adsorption. As a proof-of-the-concept, we construct a membrane electrode assembly, producing adipic acid with high faradaic efficiency (82%) and productivity (1536 μmol cm−2 h−1) at industrially relevant current density (300 mA cm−2), while achieving >50 hours stability. This work demonstrates an efficient catalyst for adipic acid electrosynthesis with high productivity that shows industrial potential. This paper investigates the moving horizon estimation (MHE) problem of mobile robots with measurement outliers. To deal with measurement outliers, the Euclidean distance of measurement error is introduced to detect and remove abnormal data. Then, we use dimension expansion methods to preprocess the data of heterogeneous sensors, such as UWB and IMU. An MHE-based method is proposed that deals with the localization of mobile robots with measurement outliers in the presence of bounded noise. An MHE-based estimator is obtained by solving a regularized least-squares problem. We analyze the convergence of the estimation error system using the properties of norm inequalities, and an upper bound is derived for the estimation error system by using norm inequality. Background: In humans, ACTN2 mutations are identified as highly relevant to a range of cardiomyopathies such as DCM and HCM, while their association with sudden cardiac death has been observed in forensic cases. Although ACTN2 has been shown to regulate sarcomere Z-disc organization, a causal relationship between ACTN2 dysregulation and cardiomyopathies under chronic stress has not yet been investigated. Objective: In this work, we explored the relationship between Actn2 dysregulation and cardiomyopathies under dexamethasone treatment. Methods: Previous cases of ACTN2 mutations were collected and the conservative analysis was carried out by MEGA 11, the possible impact on the stability and function of ACTN2 affected by these mutations was predicted by Polyphen-2. ACTN2 was suppressed by siRNA in H9c2 cells under dexamethasone treatment to mimic the chronic stress in vitro. Then the cardiac hypertrophic molecular biomarkers were elevated, and the potential pathways were explored by transcriptome analysis. Results: Actn2 suppression impaired calcium uptake and increased hypertrophy in H9c2 cells under dexamethasone treatment. Concomitantly, hypertrophic molecular biomarkers were also elevated in Actn2-suppressed cells. Further transcriptome analysis and Western blotting data suggested that Actn2 suppression led to the excessive activation of the MAPK pathway and ERK cascade. In vitro pharmaceutical intervention with ERK inhibitors could partially reverse the morphological changes and inhibit the excessive cardiac hypertrophic molecular biomarkers in H9c2 cells. Conclusion: Our study revealed a functional role of ACTN2 under chronic stress, loss of ACTN2 function accelerated H9c2 hypertrophy through ERK signaling. Salt stress can affect various physiological processes in plants, ultimately hindering their growth and development. Melatonin (MT) can effectively resist multiple abiotic stresses, improving plant stress resistance. To analyze the mechanism of exogenous MT to enhance salt tolerance in red clover, we conducted a comprehensive study to examine the influence of exogenous MT on various parameters, including seed germination indices, seedling morphological traits, and physiological and photosynthetic indicators, using four distinct red clover varieties (H1, H2, H3, and H4). This investigation was performed under various salt stress conditions with differing pH values, specifically utilizing NaCl, Na2SO4, NaHCO3, and Na2CO3 as the salt stressors. The results showed that MT solution immersion significantly improved the germination indicators of red clover seeds under salt stress. The foliar spraying of 50 μM and 25 μM MT solution significantly increased SOD activity (21–127%), POD activity, soluble sugar content, proline content (22–117%), chlorophyll content (2–66%), and the net photosynthetic rate. It reduced the MDA content (14–55%) and intercellular CO2 concentration of red clover seedlings under salt stress. Gray correlation analysis and the Mantel test further verified that MT is a key factor in enhancing seed germination and seedling growth of red clover under salt stress; the most significant improvement was observed for NaHCO3 stress. MT is demonstrated to improve the salt tolerance of red clover through a variety of mechanisms, including an increase in antioxidant enzyme activity, osmoregulation ability, and cell membrane stability. Additionally, it improves photosynthetic efficiency and plant architecture, promoting energy production, growth, and optimal resource allocation. Hierarchical Text Classification (HTC) aims to match text to hierarchical labels. Existing methods overlook two critical issues: first, some texts cannot be fully matched to leaf node labels and need to be classified to the correct parent node instead of treating leaf nodes as the final classification target. Second, error propagation occurs when a misclassification at a parent node propagates down the hierarchy, ultimately leading to inaccurate predictions at the leaf nodes. To address these limitations, we propose an uncertainty-guided HTC depth-aware model called DepthMatch. Specifically, we design an early stopping strategy with uncertainty to identify incomplete matching between text and labels, classifying them into the corresponding parent node labels. This approach allows us to dynamically determine the classification depth by leveraging evidence to quantify and accumulate uncertainty. Experimental results show that the proposed DepthMatch outperforms recent strong baselines on four commonly used public datasets: WOS (Web of Science), RCV1-V2 (Reuters Corpus Volume I), AAPD (Arxiv Academic Paper Dataset), and BGC. Objective: To investigate the safety and efficacy of LVIS Jr stent-assisted coiling (SAC) of intracranial aneurysms (IAs) in small-diameter parent arteries and determine the factors influencing incomplete aneurysm occlusion. Material and Methods: Clinical and imaging data of 130 patients with IAs in small-diameter parent arteries that were treated with LVIS Jr SAC were retrospectively analyzed. Stent apposition was evaluated by high-resolution flat detector CT, and aneurysm embolization density was evaluated using 2D-DSA. Perioperative complications were recorded. Multivariate logistic regression analyses were performed to determine possible factors for incomplete aneurysm occlusion. Results: In this study, 130 patients (60 and 70 patients with ruptured and unruptured aneurysms, respectively) were successfully treated with LVIS Jr SAC. Immediate digital subtraction angiography (DSA) showed that the aneurysm occlusion was Raymond-Roy class I, II, IIIa, and IIIb in 93 (71.5%), 24 (18.5%), 8 (6.2%), and 5 (3.8%) cases, respectively. There were three cases of acute in-stent thrombosis and two cases of severe vasospasm observed during the perioperative period. The 6‑month follow-up angiograms indicated that complete aneurysm occlusion in 122 patients was 79.5% (97/122). Multivariate logistic regression analyses showed that an aneurysm size > 10.0 mm, parent artery mean diameter < 2.0 mm, and incomplete stent apposition at the aneurysm neck were possible risk factors for incomplete aneurysm occlusion. Conclusion: The LVIS Jr SAC is effective for managing IAs in small-diameter parent arteries. When photoelectric measuring equipment is used to track satellites, the extraction of the short-term or long-term target often fails because the target is weak, clouds block the target, and/or the sun's angle is too small, resulting in the loss of the tracking target. In this study, an improved Laplacian satellite tracking method based on the Kalman filter is proposed. Firstly, the improved Laplacian algorithm was used for the initial fitting of the equation of motion of a small amount of measurement data. Judgment of the validity and Kalman filtering was carried out on the current frame's measurement data to calculate the optimal estimate of the current frame's orbit data, and the accurate equation of motion was iteratively fitted to obtain high-precision data for predicting the satellite's orbit frame by frame. Numerical tracking of the equipment was carried out. This method was experimentally validated on an actual optical measurement device. The test results showed that this method can make up for the frequent loss of short-term targets. Under the condition that the maximum deviation is less than 3″, the length of extrapolated data can be up to 30 s and the length of the measurement data was less than 30 s. DNA polymerase ζ (Pol ζ) plays an essential role in replicating damaged DNA templates but contributes to mutagenesis due to its low fidelity. Therefore, ensuring tight control of Pol ζ's activity is critical for continuous and accurate DNA replication, yet the specific mechanisms remain unclear. This study reveals a regulation mechanism of Pol ζ activity in human cells. Under normal conditions, an autoinhibition mechanism keeps the catalytic subunit, REV3L, inactive. Upon encountering replication stress, however, ATR-mediated phosphorylation of REV3L's S279 cluster activates REV3L and triggers its degradation via a caspase-mediated pathway. This regulation confines the activity of Pol ζ, balancing its essential role against its mutations causing potential during replication stress. Overall, our findings elucidate a control scheme that fine tunes the low-fidelity polymerase activity of Pol ζ under challenging replication scenarios. Molecular-based magnetic materials are expected to serve as building blocks for quantum bits. To realize high-dimensional Hilbert space and addressability, we constructed anisotropic multi-level systems based on CuII and VIV with orthogonal magnetic orbitals. The crystal structures and intramolecular magnetic couplings of four CuIIVOII complexes [{CuVO(appen)2}2], [{CuVO(fhma)2EDA}2], [{CuVO(hfca)2EDA}2] and [CuVO(hfca)2DPEDA]n are characterized. Due to the orthogonal magnetic orbitals of CuII and VIV, the Cu–V pairs in the four complexes have strong ferromagnetic couplings, and the coupling strength is linearly related to the dihedral angle between the two equatorial planes of the two coordination polyhedra. Because of the triplet ground state, the system can be described by an effective Hamiltonian model consisting of two S = 1 spins coupled together. The anisotropy parameters of [{CuVO(hfca)2EDA}2] and [CuVO(hfca)2DPEDA]n were obtained by the simulation of X-band continuous wave electron paramagnetic resonance (cw-EPR) spectra, confirming that both complexes have zero-field splitting addressable on the relative energy scale. Invasive species and their hybrids with native species threaten biodiversity. However, there are few reports on the drought stress adaptability of invasive species Sphagneticola trilobata (L.) Pruski and its hybrid with native species S. calendulacea. In this study, relative water content (RWC), abscisic acid (ABA), reactive oxygen species, antioxidant capacity, and photosynthetic capacity were measured in the hybrid and its parents under drought stress (13% PEG-6000). Under drought stress, the ABA content and RWC in S. trilobata were the highest. RWC decreased by 28% in S. trilobata, 41% in S. calendulacea, and 33% in the hybrid. Activities of the antioxidant enzymes in S. trilobata were the highest, and the accumulation of malondialdehyde (MDA) was the lowest (4.3 μg g−1), while it was the highest in S. calendulacea (6.9 μg g−1). The maximum photochemical efficiency (Fv/Fm) of S. calendulacea was the lowest (0.71), and it was the highest in S. trilobata (7.5) at 8 h under drought stress. The results suggest that the drought resistance of the hybrid was weaker than that of S. trilobata but stronger than that of S. calendulacea. The recycled Mg–Al–Zn alloys are successfully fabricated through solid‐state recycling of mixed waste chips, including cold pressing and hot extrusion. The effects of extrusion temperature on the microstructure evolution, slip mode, tensile properties, and hardness are studied. The homogeneous fine dynamic recrystallization (DRXed) grains with an average grain size of less than 13.1 μm can be obtained at four different extrusion temperatures (250, 300, 350, and 400 °C). The average grain size of the DRXed grains continuously increases with the rising extrusion temperature. However, the yield strength (YS), ultimate tensile strength (UTS), and elongation to failure (EL) of the recycled alloys increase first and then decrease. The recycled Mg–Al–Zn alloys at 350 °C demonstrate excellent mechanical properties with the YS of 134.6 MPa, UTS of 286.2 MPa, EL of 7.4%, and Vickers hardness of 75.2 HV, respectively. In addition, the slip mode is transformed from the previous basal slip to the coactivation of multiple slips composed of the basal slip, prismatic slip, and pyramidal slip with the rising extrusion temperature. Electrocatalytic upgrading of wasted plastic and renewable biomass represents a sustainable method to produce chemicals but is limited to carbohydrates, leaving other value‐added chemicals, such as organonitrogen compounds, being scarcely explored. Herein, we reported an electrocatalytic oxidation strategy to transform polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic‐derived ethylene glycol (EG) and biomass‐derived polyols into formamide, in the presence of ammonia (NH3) over a tungsten oxide (WO3) catalyst. Taking EG‐to‐formamide as an example, we achieved a high formamide productivity of 537.7 μmol cm−2 h−1 with FE of 43.2 % at a constant current of 100 mA cm−2 in a flow electrolyzer with 12‐h test, representing a more advantageous performance compared with previous reports for formamide electrosynthesis. Mechanistic understanding revealed that the cleavage of the C−C bond in the EG was facilitated by nucleophilic attack of in situ formed nitrogen radicals from NH3, with resultant C−N bond construction and eventually formamide production. Furthermore, this strategy can be extended to transformation of PET bottle and a series of biomass‐derived polyols with carbon number from three (glycerol) to six (glucose), producing formamide with high efficiencies. Transformation of carbon dioxide and nitrate ions into urea offers an attractive route for both nitrogen fertilizer production and environmental remediation. However, achieving this transformation under mild conditions remains challenging. Herein, we report an efficient photoelectrochemical method for urea synthesis by co‐reduction of carbon dioxide and nitrate ion over a Cu2O photocathode, delivering urea formation rate of 29.71±2.20 μmol g−1 h−1 and Faradaic efficiency (FE) of 12.90±1.15 % at low external potential (−0.017 V vs. reversible hydrogen electrode). Experimental data combined with theoretical calculations suggest that the adsorbed CO* and NO2* species are the key intermediates, and associated C−N coupling is the rate‐determining step. This study explores the association between LE8 scores and mortality risks among individuals diagnosed with cardiovascular disease (CVD). Utilizing data from the NHANES conducted between 2005 and 2018, survey-weighted multivariable Cox proportional hazards regression models were utilized. Life's Essential 8 (LE8) scores dose–response associations were assessed using restricted cubic spline regression. Sub-analyses were performed for different categories of CVD. The study consisted of 2164 participants diagnosed with CVD, ranging in age from 20 to 80 years (weighted mean [SE] age, 61.47 [0.34] years; The average total LE8 was 64.97 [0.54]. 499 participants experienced mortality, with 350 deaths attributed to CVD. After accounting for potential covariates, LE8 score was found to be associated with a decreased both all-cause mortality (OR 0.34, CI 0.22–0.51) and CVD mortality (OR 0.40, CI 0.23–0.68). A survey-weighted multivariable Cox model with restricted cubic splines identified the lowest all-cause mortality (P < 0.001) and CVD mortality (P < 0.001) risk when LE8 reach at 63.75 (P < 0.001). The results highlight the association between LE8 scores and reduced mortality in CVD patient population. The implementation of comprehensive initiatives that prioritize healthy dietary patterns, will play a crucial role in alleviating the impact of cardiovascular disease and improving cardiovascular health outcomes. Anion‐exchange membrane fuel cells provide the possibility to use platinum group metal‐free catalysts, but the anodic hydrogen oxidation reaction (HOR) suffers from sluggish kinetics and its source is still debated. Here, over nickel‐tungsten (Ni−W) alloy catalysts, we show that the Ni : W ratio greatly governs the HOR performance in alkaline electrolyte. Experimental and theoretical studies unravel that alloying with W can tune the unpaired electrons in Ni, tailoring the potential of zero charge and the catalytic surface to favor hydroxyl adsorption (OHad). The OHad species coordinately interact with potassium (K+) ions, which break the K+ solvation sheath to leave free water molecules, yielding an improved connectivity of hydrogen‐bond networks. Consequently, the optimal Ni17W3 alloy exhibits alkaline HOR activity superior to the state‐of‐the‐art platinum on carbon (Pt/C) catalyst and operates steadily with negligible decay after 10,000 cycles. Purpose: The traditional Chinese herbal medicine Suaeda salsa (L.) Pall (S. salsa) with a digesting food effect was taken as the research object, and its chemical composition and action mechanism were explored. Methods: The chemical constituents of S. salsa were isolated and purified by column chromatography, and their structures were characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance. The food accumulation model in mice was established, and the changes of the aqueous extract of S. salsa in gastric emptying and intestinal propulsion rate, colonic tissue lesions, serum brain-gut peptide hormone, colonic tissue protein expression, and gut microbiota structure were compared. Results: Ten compounds were isolated from S. salsa named as naringenin (1), hesperetin (2), baicalein (3), luteolin (4), isorhamnetin (5), taxifolin (6), isorhamnetin-3-O-β-d-glucoside (7), luteolin-3′-d-glucuronide (8), luteolin-7-O-β-d-glucuronide (9), and quercetin-3-O-β-d-glucuronide (10), respectively. The aqueous extract of S. salsa can improve the pathological changes of the mice colon and intestinal peristalsis by increasing the rate of gastric emptying and intestinal propulsion. By adjusting the levels of 5-HT, CCK, NT, SS, VIP, GT-17, CHE, MTL, and ghrelin, it can upregulate the levels of c-kit, SCF, and GHRL protein, and restore the imbalanced structure of gut microbiota, further achieve the purpose of treating the syndrome of indigestion. The effect is better with the increase of dose. Conclusion: S. salsa has a certain therapeutic effect on mice with the syndrome of indigestion. From the perspective of "brain-gut-gut microbiota", the mechanism of digestion and accumulation of S. salsa was discussed for the first time, which provided an experimental basis for further exploring the material basis of S. salsa. Field‐effect transistors (FETs) with ultra‐wide bandgap semiconductor Ga2O3 have been fabricated by physical vapor deposition with advantages of low cost, wafer scale, and rapid production. The insulator‐like pristine Ga2O3 is converted to semiconductor by co‐sputtering Sn with post‐annealing, which demonstrates a 5.6 × 107 times higher on‐state current. Importantly, this Sn‐doped Ga2O3 sample shows a high breakdown voltage near 500 V. Furthermore, a 4 inch array of Sn‐doped Ga2O3 FETs with high‐k Ta2O5 gate dielectric has been fabricated on a silicon substrate, successfully showing a large on‐current density of 1.3 mA mm−1, a high ION/IOFF of 2.5 × 106, and a low threshold voltage of 3.9 V, which are extracted from the average 350 devices. Salt stress caused by high concentrations of Na+ and Cl- in soil is one of the most important abiotic stresses in agricultural production, which seriously affects grain yield. The alleviation of salt stress through the application of exogenous substances is important for grain production. Melatonin (MT, N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine) is an indole-like small molecule that can effectively alleviate the damage caused by adversity stress on crops. Current studies have mainly focused on the effects of MT on the physiology and biochemistry of crops at the seedling stage, with fewer studies on the gene regulatory mechanisms of crops at the germination stage. The aim of this study was to explain the mechanism of MT-induced salt tolerance at physiological, biochemical, and molecular levels and to provide a theoretical basis for the resolution of MT-mediated regulatory mechanisms of plant adaptation to salt stress. In this study, we investigated the germination, physiology, and transcript levels of maize seeds, analyzed the relevant differentially expressed genes (DEGs), and examined salt tolerance-related pathways. The results showed that MT could increase the seed germination rate by 14.28–19.04%, improve seed antioxidant enzyme activities (average increase of 11.61%), and reduce reactive oxygen species accumulation and membrane oxidative damage. In addition, MT was involved in regulating the changes of endogenous hormones during the germination of maize seeds under salt stress. Transcriptome results showed that MT affected the activity of antioxidant enzymes, response to stress, and seed germination-related genes in maize seeds under salt stress and regulated the expression of genes related to starch and sucrose metabolism and phytohormone signal transduction pathways. Taken together, the results indicate that exogenous MT can affect the expression of stress response-related genes in salt-stressed maize seeds, enhance the antioxidant capacity of the seeds, reduce the damage induced by salt stress, and thus promote the germination of maize seeds under salt stress. The results provide a theoretical basis for the MT-mediated regulatory mechanism of plant adaptation to salt stress and screen potential candidate genes for molecular breeding of salt-tolerant maize. Sodium and potassium channels, especially Nav1.5 and Kir2.1, play key roles in the formation of action potentials in cardiomyocytes. These channels interact with, and are regulated by, synapse‐associated protein 97 (SAP97). However, the regulatory role of SAP97 in myocyte remains incompletely understood. Here, we investigate the function of SAP97 phosphorylation in the regulation of Nav1.5 and Kir2.1 channel complexes and the upstream regulation of SAP97. We found that SAP97 is phosphorylated by casein kinase II (CK2) in vitro. In addition, transfection of casein kinase 2 interacting protein‐1 (CKIP‐1) into cardiomyocytes to drive CK2 from the nucleus to the cytoplasm, increased SAP97 phosphorylation and Nav1.5 and Kir2.1 current activity. These findings demonstrated that CKIP‐1 modulates the subcellular translocation of CK2, which regulates Nav1.5 and Kir2.1 channel complex formation and activity in cardiomyocytes. This paper introduces the prototype design, magnetic field analysis and experimental test of a double-rotating ferrofluid vane micropump with an embedded fixed magnet. The micropump is based on the working principle of a positive-displacement pump, as well as the magnetic characteristics and flow properties of magnetic fluid. Through the numerical analysis of the pump cavity magnetic field and the experimental test, the structural parameters of the micropump are optimized reasonably. The pumping flow and pumping height of the micropump were characterized at different driving speeds. The maximum pumping flow rate is approximately 410 μL/min, and the maximum pumping height is approximately 111.4 mm water column. The micropump retains the advantages of simple structure, easy manufacture, flexible control, self-sealing, self-lubrication, low heat production, etc., and can block the pumped liquid backflow. The resulting double-rotating ferrofluid blades can improve pumping efficiency and pumping capacity, and can improve pumping reliability and stability to a certain extent. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The continental Asia is mainly composed of three major tectonic regimes, the Tethys, Paleo Asian Ocean, and West Pacific. It underwent multi‐stage plate convergences, ocean‐continent transformations, and subductions, collisions and/or collages, and post collisional (orogenic) extensions in Phanerozoic. Tectonic evolution of the Asia brings up a unique fault system and tectonic geomorphological features in the mainland China. Also, it provides a geodynamic background for the formation and evolution of metallogeneses and mineral systems, resulting in nonuniform distribution of tectono‐metallogenic systems and metallogenic belts. The spatiotemporal distribution of mineral deposits in China and adjacent areas exhibits periodic variation under controlling of the full life Wilson cycle and tectonic evolution, forming the plate convergence‐related mineral system in East Asia. Porphyry Cu deposits are mainly related to compressional systems in Paleozoic and early Mesozoic, and more closely related to post‐collision extensional settings in late Mesozoic and Cenozoic. Orogenic Au deposits mainly formed in post‐orogeny extensional setting. Alkaline rock related rare earth element deposits formed mainly at margins of the North China and Yangtze cratons. Granite‐pegmatite Li and other rare metal deposits formed mainly in early Mesozoic, related to Indosinian post‐orogeny extension. Introduction: Pulmonary artery (PA) masses are rare. Distinguishing PA tumours from embolism is sometimes difficult, and surgical biopsy is expensive and risky. We aimed to evaluate the efficacy of imaging-guided percutaneous endovascular biopsy (PEB) for obtaining tissues for histological diagnosis. Methods: We searched Cochrane, Medline, Embase, and Web of Science for PEB trials involving patients with PA masses, published from the inception of the database until August 2023. Results: We retrospectively reviewed 33 studies including 87 patients (median age 55 ± 69.3 years, 44 men) with PA masses who underwent a total of 110 PEBs. Of these patients, 34.5% (n = 38) underwent PEB-catheter aspiration (PEB-CA), 50.9% (n = 56) underwent PEB-forceps biopsy (PEB-FB) and 2.7% (n = 3) underwent PEB-directional atherectomy (PEB-DA). The most common histological aetiology of PA masses was mesenchymal tumours (n = 67, 75.9%). Tumour embolism (n = 6, 6.9%) and pulmonary embolism (n = 3, 3.4%) were the second and third most common types of PA masses, respectively. The technical success rates of PEB-CA, PEB-FB and PEB-DA were 92.1%, 94.6% and 100% (p = 0.796), respectively. Histopathological analysis provided clinical diagnostic success rates of 44.7%, 85.7% and 100% for PEB-CA, PEB-FB and PEB-DA (p < 0.001), respectively. In pairwise comparison, PEB-FB had a higher success rate in pathological diagnosis than PEB-CA (p = 0.000). Apart from one patient suffering from haemorrhagic cardiac tamponade, no other complications occurred. Conclusion: Imaging-guided PEB is a safe and effective technique for the early pathological diagnosis of PA masses. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
