The article discusses the increasing indifference of students, younger teachers, and health practitioners on the anatomical language in Brazil. It cites that students have not a single hour of Latin in their high school or college and barely have 15 minutes dedicated to the language of anatomy. It also notes that eponyms is another cause of misinformation among students and the lack of knowledge of Latin and of uniformity in the textbooks resulted to small success of the anatomical language.
