We give representation theoretic interpretation for the terms in Wilson's rank formula (1.2) for the inclusion matrices of complete uniform families. We exhibit a dual Specht filtration of a suitable adjoint Radon map whose factors contribute the terms in the rank formula. From a representation theoretic point of view we give descriptions for the (complete) kernel and image of these maps in the case of partitions with at most two parts. The primary tools are the Specht filtration given by James in [10], and, in the dual setting, the work on polynomial functions by Friedl and Rónyai [6]. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

ACADEMIC achievement ,LEARNING Management System ,DECISION trees ,DATA mining - Abstract
Students' performance analysis basically consists of determining the factors influencing the performance and how it will give impact towards success. It will help us to understand students' behavior and how to improve their academic performance. The efficiency of this analysis depends on the information given by the user through learning management system (LMS). In order to improve the information, we have applied algorithms on the dataset and prepared a model by using Tableau and RapidMiner. Cross-validation with decision tree also has been applied on datasets. This can help in evaluating statistical computational results into a generalized data set. Based on the calculation of data mining, it can analyze that our model is quite stable since it has high accuracy with lower standard deviation. So, the processes like testing and validation, applying the model and decision tree on RapidMiner generates the output in a specific form. The result shows that the percentage of students who are absence is better than students who are absence more than 7 days. At last, a model is prepared, and it can help the schools, students, and the parents in adapting appropriate measures to ensure the success of students at school. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Big data analytics, described as the fourth paradigm of science breaking through Industry 4.0 technological development, continues to expand globally as organizations strive to attain the utmost value and sustainable competitive edge. Yet, concerning its contribution to developing sustainable products, there is a need for innovative research due to limited knowledge and uncertainty. This research is hence aimed at addressing (a) how research on big data analytics for sustainable products has evolved in recent years, and (b) how and in what terms it can contribute to developing sustainable products. To do so, this study includes a bibliometric review performed to shed light on the phenomenon gaining prominence. Next, the fuzzy technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution, along with a survey, is used to analyze the matter in terms of the respective indicator set. The review's findings revealed that there has been growing global research interest in the topic in the literature since its inception, and by advancing knowledge in the area, progress toward sustainable development goals 7, 8, 9, 12, and 17 can be made. The fuzzy-based analytical findings demonstrated that 'product end-of-life management efficiency' has the highest contributory coefficient of 0.787, followed by 'product quality and durability' and 'functional performance', with coefficients of 0.579 and 0.523, respectively. Such research, which is crucial for sustainable development, offers valuable insights to stakeholders seeking a deeper understanding of big data analytics and its contribution to developing sustainable products. Customer churn is a well-known issue in most sectors, there are various reasons why customers leave banks such as customers aren't getting the results they want, customer service needs improvement, customers believe your competitors can do a better job, customers no longer see the value in bank's product, and customers believe your product is too expensive or too cheap. Hence it's critical to develop a perfect predictive model designed in support of customer churn that could be used to formulate a customer retention strategy. This topic is much more important in markets where competition is high and acquiring new customers is more difficult than retaining existing customers. There is a need to build a Bank customer churn/no churn analysis system with best performance and accuracy that will be of great use in banking enabling them to prevent revenue loss, reduce marketing and sales costs and improve the quality of customer service. Coupled with Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Tableau, business executives can make sense of big data. The research focuses on using the machine learning model random forest to help the machine learning model evaluation and interpretability for customer churn analysis in having bank account and are associated with the credit card services, even though multiple models are employed for this analysis. This article rounds off an intensive study of formulaicity in Gothic fiction. After briefly recapping analysis on the compositional levels of formula, formulaic pattern and tableau in the novel The Necromancer (1794), the article concentrates on the next compositional level, the type-scene, understood as an aggregate of tableaux. It shows that the type-scene depicting ghostly apparitions systematically resorts to the same lexical fields and techniques of composition, and that these foreground language over content; the type-scene thus constructed exhibits a multiform structure, and strongly resembles 'other' type-scenes respectively depicting a tempest and the Wild Hunt. Detailed analysis leads to seven hypotheses regarding the structure of these type-scenes, the most general of which being that a metonymic principle appears to govern Gothic narrative composition. These hypotheses suggest themselves as stepping-stones towards the construction of a poetics of the Gothic. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Business Intelligence (BI) plays an important role in decision support systems by analyzing business data. Demand forecasting is a primary part of a sales decision system. In this research work, a Neural Network based Business Intelligence (NNBI) dashboard is proposed for a sales decision system. Data is collected from a leading clothing brand, then NNBI executes data and uses Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) to predict daily, monthly and weekly sales. The accuracy of the prediction model (0.95) validates the performance of NNBI. Tableau, a well-known BI tool is used to design NNBI dashboard. A combination of graphs, charts and text is used to interactively present the sales information. Results of NNBI show that a BI dashboard with the analysis and prediction power of NN is a good fit for a business organization. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Background: The dynamics and complexities of in utero fetal development create significant challenges in transitioning from lab animal‐centric developmental toxicity testing methods to assessment strategies based on new approach methodologies (NAMs). Nevertheless, considerable progress is being made, stimulated by increased research investments and scientific advances, such as induced pluripotent stem cell‐derived models. To help identify developmental toxicity NAMs for toxicity screening and potential funding through the American Chemistry Council's Long‐Range Research Initiative, a systematic literature review was conducted to better understand the current landscape of developmental toxicity NAMs. Methods: Scoping review tools were used to systematically survey the literature (2010–2021; ~18,000 references identified), results and metadata were then extracted, and a user‐friendly interactive dashboard was created. Results: The data visualization dashboard, developed using Tableau® software, is provided as a free, open‐access web tool. This dashboard enables straightforward interactive queries and visualizations to identify trends and to distinguish and understand areas or NAMs where research has been most, or least focused. Conclusions: Herein, we describe the approach and methods used, summarize the benefits and challenges of applying the systematic‐review techniques, and highlight the types of questions and answers for which the dashboard can be used to explore the many different facets of developmental toxicity NAMs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article examines how students learn about data‐driven decision‐making by creating and using a dashboard to play an online version of the familiar Beer Game. The objective is to apply data visualization skills to a business system in a way that leads to effective decisions. The students not only build a dashboard in Tableau, they also use it as they make ordering decisions while playing a round of the Beer Game that has a seasonal ramp up/ramp down demand pattern. Our assessment indicates that the exercise provides an effective application of Tableau skills and raises awareness of important aspects of dashboard design. We continue to improve the exercise to emphasize that analytics solutions can only be developed with a solid understanding of the business system. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

VIRTUAL machine systems ,VIRTUAL networks ,COMMUNICATION infrastructure ,CLOUD computing - Abstract
Virtual machines (VMs) are preferred by the majority of organizations due to their high performance. VMs allow for reduced overhead with multiple systems running from the same console at the same time. A physical server is a bare-metal system whose hardware is controlled by the host operating system. A physical server runs on a single instance of OS and application. A virtual server or virtual machine encapsulates the underlying hardware and networking resources. With the existing physical server, it is difficult to migrate the tasks from one platform to another platform or to a datacentre. Centralized security is difficult to setup. But with Hypervisor the virtual machine can be deployed, for instance, with automation. Virtualization cost increases as well as a decrease in hardware and infrastructure space costs. We propose an efficient Azure cloud framework for the utilization of physical server resources at remote VM servers. The proposed framework is implemented in two phases first by integrating physical servers into virtual ones by creating virtual machines, and then by integrating virtual servers into cloud service providers in a cost-effective manner. We create a virtual network in the Azure datacenter using the local host physical server to set up the various virtual machines. Two virtual machine instances, VM1 and VM2, are created using Microsoft Hyper-V with the server Windows 2016 R. The desktop application is deployed and VM performance is monitored using the PowerShell script. Tableau is used to evaluate the physical server functionality of the worksheet for the deployed application. The proposed Physical to Virtual to Cloud model (P2V2C) model is being tested, and the performance result shows that P2V2C migration is more successful in dynamic provisioning than direct migration to cloud platform infrastructure. The research work was carried out in a secure way through the migration process from P2V2C. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper aims to conduct a systematic overview of green growth literature and reveal the evolution, hot topics, as well as future directions of this field. Given the dispersion of the existing related studies, the development and evolution process of green growth have yet to be comprehensively reviewed. The qualitative review cannot objectively and quantitatively screen out important keywords, possibly leading to bias. This study uses a hybrid method based on bibliometric analysis and the fuzzy Delphi method to review 806 papers from the Scopus database. The findings show that there is an exponential rise in publications with the leading authors, countries, and institutions concentrated in South Korea, China, and the USA. The contents of core literature are focused on pathways and influencing factors of green growth. Hot topics, including policy support, resource management, emission reduction, and the application of new technology, are summarized. The top 5 keywords for future directions are energy, economy, emission, development, and management. The findings offer some valuable contributions to both academic and practical investigations of green growth. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

As Vietnam continues to industrialize and modernize, such economic development and high-tech will require a major electrical energy source to operate the electrical equipment; hence, the hydropower plants are established and growing up to demand. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the business performance of Vietnamese hydropower suppliers by integrating the LTS(A,A,A) model of the Additive Holt-winters method in Tableau and a super-slacks-based measure (super-SBM) max model in data envelopment analysis (DEA). The LTS(A,A,A) model is applied to forecast future valuation from 2022 to 2025 based on historical time series from 2012 to 2021. Next, with the actual and predicted data, the researcher uses the super-SBM max model to calculate the business performance of these hydropower suppliers from past to future. The empirical result reveals efficient and inefficient cases to explore which hydropower suppliers can achieve the business performance in their operational process. The position of hydropower suppliers in Vietnam from past to future time is determined particularly based on their scores every year. Further, the empirical result recommends a solution to deal with inefficient cases by deducting the input excesses and raising the output shortages based on the principle of the super-SBM Max model in DEA. The finding results create an overview of the operational process with the continuing variations in each period to equip hydropower suppliers in Vietnam which will determine their future and operational orientation. Peter Teuthold's 1794 The Necromancer exhibits massive co-occurrence: textual units (lexemes, sounds, and both phrase and clause formations) regularly gravitate around other textual units, effectively clustering into fields. A field is defined as an open paradigm of items related by functional equivalence; the novel handles its components not as independent units but only in accordance with a 'fielding' principle, that is, only as paradigmatic elements which can be exchanged for or combined with other elements. Previous work has established a distinction between the formula properly so called and the formulaic pattern, defined as a construct that attracts lexical, phonological, syntactic, and connotative fields into its orbit. The article argues that 'fielding' operates on at least one 'higher' level, the level where formulaic patterns combine to shape a charged moment in the narrative – a tableau. After selecting a fragment of text and illustrating the structure of a single formulaic pattern, the article isolates each phrase or clause segment in the fragment, outlines the pattern it belongs in, and shows that over seventy-five per cent of its textual matter is demonstrably formulaic. Analysis of several other excerpts suggests that formulaic density is not homogeneous but decreases or rises at different points in the novel. A rationale for high-density segments is then sought in the ritualising nature of the tableau itself. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In partnership with community leaders of Durham, North Carolina, the Duke World Food Policy Center is creating a Durham Food Justice Plan (DFJP) for envisioning an equitable food system. The Food Justice plan serves to incorporate Durham's local food history in terms of combating historical and present injustices in the food system. We propose creating an integrative, interactive visual for DFJP to view the food landscape of Durham, which will be utilized to study its relationships with the people living in the area where these establishments reside. We created a food landscape platform in Tableau using multisource data including Durham's food vendor data from North Carolina's Department of Commerce and census data for demographic data, neighborhood labels, and street and highways. We incorporated the Google Geocoding API and the aggregated information based on census blocks and tracts in visualization. We produced a variety of maps and graphs to highlight diverse relationships. The food landscape visualization allows us to see interactive patterns among food vendors and demographic data in Durham. We expect to utilize the developed landscape visual for insightful statistical analysis on food inequity issues. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Data analytics has become the buzz word in the accounting profession with colleges of business and accounting faculty attempting to address the need for related instruction and student skill building in this area as part of their curriculums. To date, implementation methods have varied spanning simply offering a stand-alone course in data analytics, integrating data analytics into most or all courses in the current accounting curriculum, and even creating new tracks or degrees within undergraduate or graduate accounting programs. In this paper, I describe a multi-stage approach to integrating knowledge and application of data analytics into a Master's in Accounting (MS Accounting) Seminar in Managerial Accounting course including providing a conceptual foundation, identifying real-world applications, building critical thinking and software skills, and tying it all together in a final student-designed data analysis project. The paper investigates the use of dashboards and data visualizations as a teaching tools in accounting units. Accounting has a growing demand for data analytics and visualization and current graduates usually lack understanding and skills in this area. The paper addresses this gap by introducing dashboards and data visualizations in teaching accounting units. Approaching visualization as a cognitive tool, the study develops a model aligning conceptual blocks in the accounting domain with the dashboard visualization environment. The proposed model is instantiated in the undergraduate and postgraduate accounting courses. The model is evaluated using a survey and a focus group with accounting academics, graduates and industry representatives. The paper extends the information technology literature on visualization and demonstrates the use of dashboards and data visualizations in the domain of accounting education. The paper also contributes to the education literature by extending the project-based approach to analyse visualization environment as a cognitive tool in accounting education. The paper suggests directions on implementation of visualization in accounting reporting and accounting education and provides recommendations for researchers in those areas. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

DATA analytics ,DATA modeling ,ELECTRONIC data processing - Abstract
Using materials from PwC's data analytics case study using a fictitious company, Pixystems Toy Company, Inc. (PwC 2017), the authors developed a comprehensive, multi-part data analytics project that is applicable for a variety of accounting courses. The project follows the common data analytics framework (ask the right questions, extract, transform, and load [ETL] the data, perform appropriate analyses, and present the results). Students apply this framework to the sales and purchases cycles. For each, students develop relevant questions, build a data model, and perform other ETL procedures, perform analytics, and prepare a presentation to convey insights and recommendations. For the sales cycle, Microsoft Excel is the analytics tool; for the purchases cycle, Tableau is used. This project provides an opportunity for students to gain experience with two analytics tools, understand the process of building a data model, and wrestle with how to convey the results of their analysis. - Abstract
There has been much written about big data lakes and the use of data and analytics, but there are few real-world cases that allow analysis of this issue. The purpose of this paper is to discuss emerging issues in the cloud-based data lakes and the use of data analytic tools in those lakes. Accordingly, this paper develops a case designed to trace Sysco's development of a cloud-based data lake as part of their ecosystem for enterprise data. This case allows the analysis of several issues including data warehouses in contrast to data lakes and an analysis of the overall architecture to address these issues. The case also investigates, several emerging issues, including the nature of the material put in the data lake, the potential competitive advantage of a cloud-based lake, the changing nature of BI in the cloud, analytics in the cloud and other issues. Given a Hopf algebra with distinguished bases indexed by combinatorial objects, along with a primitive generating set for this algebra, it is natural to consider how we can combinatorially interpret the primitivity of the elements in this generating set, by expanding these generators in terms of the distinguished bases of this algebra and then applying the comultiplication operation to these expansions and constructing sign-reversing involutions that determine the resultant cancellations that we obtain. In this article, we explore this idea, as applied to the power sum generators of the algebra of symmetric functions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Featured Application: The architecture proposed here is applicable to the management of complex systems, for example, manufacturing, healthcare, automobiles, and airplanes. The processing of information in real-time (through the processing of complex events) has become an essential task for the optimal functioning of manufacturing plants. Only in this way can artificial intelligence, data extraction, and even business intelligence techniques be applied, and the data produced daily be used in a beneficent way, enhancing automation processes and improving service delivery. Therefore, professionals and researchers need a wide range of tools to extract, transform, and load data in real-time efficiently. Additionally, the same tool supports or at least facilitates the visualization of this data intuitively and interactively. The review presented in this document aims to provide an up-to-date review of the various tools available to perform these tasks. Of the selected tools, a brief description of how they work, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of their use, will be presented. Furthermore, a critical analysis of overall operation and performance will be presented. Finally, a hybrid architecture that aims to synergize all tools and technologies is presented and discussed. 40. CHAPTER 7: Meeting the British: Yeats, Tagore, and Self Fashioning.

- Abstract
This chapter investigates the ways that Yeats and Tagore performed identities as well as the receptions of these self-fashionings. Beginning with Yeats' efforts to bring his poetry to the British public through performance as a young, wild Celt in an image of tableau and ending with Tagore's travels to Sweden and 1921, the chapter argues that Yeats' 1887 performance of cultural identity has been ignored while Tagore's 1912 dinner attendance has been overplayed; in fact, Tagore's cultural exchange at that dinner table continued a centuries-old family pattern. Yeats, in 1887, performed in an image accompanying his poem, fashioning himself in a way that would bring British attention to him as an emerging poet, ensuring that his persona would be intriguingly other to the public on the other side of the sea. The tableau, an art form originating from theatres and the visual arts, is also a literary phenomenon. Literary tableaux are short scenic interruptions or pictorial compositions arresting the narrative flow and serving as highlighted moments where time stands still. Either they are scenes of intense emotion, or they occur at a crucial point in the plot. This paper distinguishes between two modes of writing that are at work in literary tableaux, which I will call absorption and contemplation. Absorption is a mode of writing and reading related to formal realism. In his theory about tableaux, Denis Diderot advocates for a realist art and literature that can create the illusion of a close relationship between the work of art and the reader/beholder. Focusing on the 18thcentury English writer Henry Fielding, this paper provides a close reading of selected scenes from the novel Tom Jones, arguing that Fielding created his own tableaux of contemplation. These instances are metafictional moments in which the narrator interrupts the narrative to converse with the reader about an event or a character in the novel. Often, they contain references to classical art and are a mix of epic, tragic and comic elements. Fielding's tableaux explicitly present their own fictionality, consulting with the reader about the difference between art and life. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The paper introduces the concept of tableau as articulated by film history and theory, with examples from the films of Roy Andersson, Jean-Luc Godard and Lars von Trier. A lesser known tradition, the bonnet view originates from Kelly Reichardt’s western Meek’s Cutoff which set out to tell the story from “the point of view of the woman who pours John Wayne’s coffee.” By replacing generic conventions, notably the customary widescreen with a square-like image, Meek’s Cutoff conveys the visual and social restrictions signified by women’s bonnets. The bonnet view is further traced in the tableaus of TV-series Handmaid’s Tale and other cinematic portrayals of women’s history ( Jessica Hausner's Amor Fou and Carl Th. Dreyer’s The Day of Wrath), exploring its potential as a vehicle of the female gaze. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Every day there are millions of opportunities to improve people’s lives by making better use of data. In the digital era, harnessing data can be the difference between staying ahead or falling behind. Most organizations are investing millions of dollars into digital transformation efforts, and yet, the majority of these initiatives are failing. Why? Because organizations are failing to create a Data Culture — the behaviors and mindsets that empower people to innovate and drive change with data. A growing number of enterprises are recognizing that turning data into information, knowledge, and insights requires a data culture. Data culture encompasses values, behaviors, and attitudes of executives and employees that promote and enable use of relevant data as the driving force of decision making. Tableau Software products are transforming the way people use data to solve problems. They make analyzing data fast and easy, beautiful and useful. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
